Personality: Peaceful
baby - Slightly shy, Kaede spent most of his time swimming and blowing bubbles at the passers-by, although many times he had someone sitting by him. Very appreciative of these visits, these experiences have made him value friendship and kindness, and instill a sense of contentment and humbleness around others.
child - - Even as a child, the Koi Hyte stayed shy, rarely talking, but always offering his mood through his expression, usually a shy smile or a light, bubbly laugh. As a child it was hard for him to move around, so he would usually sit in his kiddie pool (although it was a little too small for him then) or on the ground somewhere, and be carried around on Nata's hip.
teen - - By the awkward teen stage, Kaede was talking much more than he had been, although he always kept that politeness about him, as well as the shy, private smile. Much too big to be carried, he could now move around on his tail much like a snake, although not very fast. He still preferred the water, where he could speed around much faster than most of the other Hytes, but at least he could move by himself now. At this stage he had his first date, with Hunter, the raccoon Hyte.

Hair: Dark brown; cropped, chin length. Lock of hair on either side slightly shorter, cut just below cheekbone. Extremely messy.
About: There isn't really much to know about me. I'm a 19 year old Junior in college, studying to be a Mechanical Engineer, and struggling tremendously. I'm a relatively boring person, and don't really do much of anything, but I love to swim laps, and really mostly hate running of any kind. (I have tiny legs, which really sucks in races.) I'm 5'2" on a good day, weigh anywhere between 98 - 102 lbs, and have brown hair, brown eyes, and tiny, non-existent boobs. (I could probably pass for a twelve year old boy -- isn't that sad?)
The B/C is pretty much the only place on Gaia I frequent, and Hytech is the first b/c shop that I ever fell in love with. Through the few years I've been here I've wandered between shops and slowly gathered a beautiful collection of pets, but I never stopped adoring this place with every fiber of my being. In January of 2009 my dearest Leikkun won Kaede for me, sealing my fate with Hytech -- a fate I welcome wholeheartedly. (This places is f'n amazing yo)
Besides that, I co-own several tempated B/C shops, including Palu Island and All the Weyrs of Pern, and I've just recently been hired as co-manager for Kuniku.
And there you go. All you ever wanted to know and sooo much more. : D TMI, amirite?

 . In-house . Maxwell - Maxwell is certainly one of the most debonair characters I have yet to meet. The night of the date arrives, and Hunter comes to pick him up so they can go get dinner and a movie. ** Who Stole the Cookie from the Cookie Jar? - Femi and Kaede decide that the smell of cookies is exactly what they need at Hytech <3 ** White Kirins and Pink Carnations - Kaede has asked Xin Yue on a date, and now is ready to take her out to a nice Japanese restaurant called the White Kirin.
