.[ g u i d e l i n e s ]. No drama unless it's the RP story sort of drama! If for some reason at all I've pissed you off? PM me rather than flaming my journal. Hell, I don't even check my journals all that often, so chances are I won't see your post until whatever ticked you off has had time to correct itself.
Don't post here unless I've given you explicit permission to do so unless you are Rik or another of the Feien staff! I personally like to roleplay via AIM or in a guild thread. That way I can document things here and it'll be all neat and organized without a bazillion different posts just to tell one story. Also -- gifts need to be delivered to my PM inbox, not here!
Nothing here is common knowledge! That means that the things that you read here are not things that your character should know unless the info has been released to them via RP.
Don't take things that happen in RP personally. My characters are usually dysfunctional, and Athan is no exception to that trend. He's moody, dark, secretive, and generally isn't too fond of humanity for various personal reasons. This doesn't mean he'll hate everyone, but I'm aware his arrogance can be irritating.
You may take any images or RP logs your character(s) are featured in. I usually compile RP logs as I am roleplaying to ensure that I have it, and sometimes I like to illustrate things. So yeah, feel free to take anything that has your characters in it. You don't have to ask for my permission or anything.
These rules are subject to modification. So make sure you check back here ever so often, hm?

tomboy: a girl considered boyish or masculine in behavior or manner.
industrious: assiduous in work or study; diligent. Skillful; clever. Characterized by steady attention and effort.
secretive: having or marked by an inclination to secrecy; not open, forthright, or frank.
atheist: one who disbelieves or denies the existence of God or gods
Fleet Report: During her time with the Fleet Lorelei was bonded to Crewman (Int) Shoichi Abukara. While the relationship was a positive one, it was not particularly close given Abukara's guarded nature. Still, they got along quite well and it is not thought that the relationship played any part in Lorelei's decision to leave. Doubtless if they were ever to meet again the exchange would be friendly.
The reasons for Lorelei's departure are not known at this time. She has been an efficient and productive Fleet member who never offered any complaints. She considers the Fleet to have been a positive influence and has a positive view of the Fleet, its operations, and its members. Given her pro-Fleet stance she has undergone only light memory erasure to erase knowledge of Fleet locations and certain procedures. She will remember most of the Fleet personnel and feien whom she has met. She is classed as mild to no security risk. Her decision to transfer to Gaia is considered anomalous, but surely she has her reasons.. More info soon!

.[ a b o u t - a t h a n ].  Athan is a man who greatly appreciates his privacy. He keeps his thoughts and feelings closely guarded. He's not the sort to keep friends, though he does seem to have a growing relationship with a woman by the name of Reyna Crelos. They run a jewelry store together called Twilight Designs. It's actually a smokescreen for the headquarters of creatures he helps bring to life called Shadow Fiends.
These creatures are actually derived from stones and precious gems that have had souls sealed away inside of them. It was an old comrade of his that actually went about locking people away in the gems, and he has taken it upon himself to release them due to feelings of guilt and responsibility.
He is not actually from Gaia, but from a world in a different dimension. The life span of his race is typically quite long, though they are mortal and therefore prone to illness and disease the same way most humans are. His people are also naturally gifted with the ability to use magic depending upon what element they are aligned with, and Athan is no exception to this.
He is aligned with earth, though he has forefeited a lot of his natural magic for that of shadow and darkness to prolong his lifespan even longer and to help him release Fiends.
Appearence-wise, Athan is almost always shrouded in shadows and dark robes, though since the battle with Doran he can be more frequently seen in 'normal' clothes, so to speak. Even so, the color of his wardrobe never varies and is always black. The only color lent to his clothing is from an emerald pendant he can often be seen with and a belt he wears that has various green stones dangling off it from one side. All of the stones serve a specific purpose when it comes to his magic and he is never seen without them.
His eyes always glow an eerie sort of green. This is due to the nature of the magic he uses as it is very much a part of him. His hair is deep, blue-black sort of color and is always tied back away from his face and is dreadlocked. His skin is lightly tanned, but usually his black clothing makes him look much paler than he really is. He's also quite tall, hovering somewhere around six feet tall.

.[ f r i e n d s - a n d - f o e s ]. Reyna thus far has proven to be useful. She always seems to have some sort of dirt on Athan and allows Lorelei to rummage through her desk as she pleases, which of course, tickles her to no end. So far she seems to like the demon just fine. Reyna's feelings about Lorelei so far seem to be mutual as she hasn't attempted eat, maul, or squish her (yet).
Blue is mostly an annoyance. He (she, it? wtf?!) is Lorelei's biggest hindrance and from her point of view, he seems to take delight in irritating her. Really, Blue is just loving in a most overbearing way and he adores her (and everyone he meets) to absolutely NO END. Lorelei wishes she'd never wanted to see how the spell she'd helped Athan uncover worked.
Raphael seems very nice to Lorelei. He's very shy, but she seems to like him just fine. He's the only Feien that she's encountered more than just once and has gotten to know a little. So far it seems like they'll be good friends.

.[ t h e - s e t t i n g ]. Twilight Designs is where Athan works. It's a high-end jewelry store located in Durem. He usually handles the buying part of the shop, while Reyna does the managing and selling. The store itself has a sort of plush, yet modern, arts-y sort of feel to it, which is largely Reyna's influence.
Athan's house is basically always a mess, but only in the sense that it's full of random stuff, otherwise it's very neat and orderly. There are antiques just about everywhere of every shape and size, and an assortment of strange looking gadgets that do equally strange things. There are more rooms inside of the house than what seems physically possible and they tend to move around and disappear of their own accord. The only rooms that are completely stable are the alcove where the front door is, the kitchen, Athan's bedroom, a small garden that's just outside of the kitchen, and the basement that Athan uses as a study for his magic.
