....... a simple introduction to the main types of teas .......

User Image

Black tea is withered, fully oxidized and dried.
Black tea yields a hearty, amber-colored brew.

User Image

Oolong tea, popular in China, is withered, partially oxidized, and dried.
Oolong is a cross between black and green tea in color and taste.

User Image

Green tea skips the oxidizing step. It is simply withered and then dried.
It has a more delicate taste and is pale green / golden in color.

User Image

White tea is the least processed. A very rare tea from China,
white tea is not oxidized or rolled, but simply withered and dried by steaming.

User Image

Pu-erh tea is earthy and complex. It is a tea little known outside traditional circles,
but with a history that extends centuries into the past.
Large leaves are harvested, oxidized, fermented, fired and then aged.

User Image

Herbal tea is floral, sweet, and flavorful but without the caffeine of traditional tea leaves.

F.A.Q.

Q. What exactly is a tea spirit?
A. A tea spirit is a mysterious and magical creature that is born from inspiration. More specifically the inspiration you experience when drinking a cup of tea.

Q. If we drink the tea, then are we hurting the tea spirit?
A. No, because the tea spirit doesn't really come from the tea, but rather your imagination.

Q. What can I do with a tea spirit?
A. Anything really. You can use it as a companion for yourself or even for an RP character in another shop! Or maybe you can simply enjoy looking at it and imagining the fun and magical adventures you would get into together.

Q. How did you create the banners and tags?
A. We used a very freeform watercolor technique, then mixed and matched different splaters and shapes on the computer.

(These were the general questions I was seeing, so if you have more, just post in the thread.)
