personality; Varun is a very proud animal. He carries himself with a very strong sense of who he is and speaks with authority. While he sometimes comes off as brusque, it's just his speech pattern. He likes words a great deal and is doing his best to learn as many new words as possible. Of course, Varun wants to learn all this own his own. Varun wants to do everything on his own because he doesn't need anyone else! Problem with authority? Oh yes.
And what else is our youngling showing a strong distaste for? Other males. Varun seems to have a bit of an alpha male syndrome and often finds other males to be some sort of threat to him, especially when a female is involved. He is hyper-protective of his guardian and absolutely does not approve of other males who try to take his spot. Or harm her. And he doesn't like them getting to close to her, either. He's certainly not afraid to fight, even if it's not in his best interest. As he gets older, he'll certainly put a few tricks up his sleeve, so watch out!
Varun also happens to be a bit of a thief. Despite what Kinsey tells him, he still takes things without asking. He doesn't grasp the concept. He wants what he wants and he'll be damned if he can't have it. A firm believer of survival of the fittest, if they can't defend their stuff, he has every right to it. Following that same idea, Varun is determined to be the best, the strongest, the proudest. So maybe the others have a leg up on him, but Vars is bound and determined.

Seasonal Branch - What's so weird about this branch? Well, not only is it still changing seasons in its jar, it's changing at will! The branch doesn't follow the happenings outside, it changes as slow, or as fast, as it likes. Well. As much as a branch can like, at any rate. That aside, its changes don't match the natural order of nature. Spring doesn't flow to summer, and summer doesn't flow to fall. There doesn't seem to be any set order. The branch just changes seasons. Yep. Just like that.

One Jump Ahead - It's Kinsey's turn to treat Alex to lunch! Why the hell does Varun keep taking things?
Scavenger Hunt - Grocery shopping for Kyou!
Completed RP
The Fix - Kinsey runs into Alex and Lorenzo, quite literally, down at the coffee shop.
Friendly Fishing Trip - Kinsey goes to get Alex for a fishing trip and ends up helping Alex trying to get a sea beast off the rocks. (Soul Capture)
Keep What You Steal - Aftermath of the fishing trip. (Soul Drop-Off.)
Crash and Burn - Back at the coffee shop, Kinsey crashes into someone again. This time, Phiel actually gets to wear Kinsey's hot chocolate.
Keep it Clean - Kinsey needs to clean house! She goes to get some shopping supplies and runs into Lucretia and Agni.
Toy Shop Wonder - Kinsey applies for jobs and meets Xiu, his guardian, and Ethan.
Autumn's Ghost in Spring - My oh my, who is this charming new Raevan?
Pantry Raid! - Kinsey gets a visitor at home! Varun does not approve!

personality; Kinsey likes to play rough. The oldest of seven, she really knows how to take charge of a situation…at least, with kids. She’s not quite as good with people older than her, and she’s especially not good with guys. Well, the ones she likes. But anyways. Kinsey doesn’t take crap from anybody, and she’s usually pretty gung-ho and blunt. A small problem, she usually opens her mouth and gets herself in trouble…and keeps digging her grave until the hole is too big to get out. (She means well, though! Really, she does.)
She spent most of her life at home, helping her mother with her siblings, so she never really had a lot of 'hang out' time. She's a little socially challenged sometimes, yeah, that's what we're trying to say. She gets frustrated easily and is not very likely to 'talk it out'. That's okay, though. She'll feel guilty later. Now, though, she's finally moved out, on her own (freedom?). She finds she kind of enjoys the space...and misses the constant contact. Good thing her job provides her with lots of people to talk to! (She's a waitress/bar tender. It really depends on whether or not the other bar tender shows up.)
Oh? And goals? Now that she's finally on her own, Kinsey can start to plan out some stuff. What? You thought the girl would be waitressing forever, did you? Heh. Her first plan to to own a dog and a couple of fish. Little steps. Eventually, she wants to own a kennel. Breed some good working dogs. Maybe some huskies. Huskies are nice.

 Currently, Kinsey is the oldest of five, though it's more than possible there are others on the way. Her mother really likes kids. It's a good thing she's a real take-charge kind of woman. (Totally where Kinsey gets it from.) There's Kinsey, then her brother, Zuzen, currently in his late teens. He and Kins get in rows all the time. She picks on him, he makes fun of her lack of chest, a surefire way to get her going, and it just goes downhill from there. Currently, she's pretty annoyed he can manage to get himself a boyfriend...and she can't. What is the world coming to?
The comes Moriah. She's pretty quiet. Kinsey doesn't really care to bother her, she doesn't rile up easily. At all. In fact, she's a pretty big fan of knitting. Have you seen how large those needles are? Kinsey isn't sure she'd fight with Moriah even if it was possible. There's the next girl in line, York. She's still pretty young, about ten, and she idolizes her older sisters. She knits, and she likes to play like a boy! So she's pretty okay, in Kinsey's book.
And that leaves Hoyt. He's the youngest, and positively adorable. It's not an opinion, that's a fact. The boy's five, and positively a cookie monster. He adores his mother and his big brother and is constantly hanging off one of their legs, well, that is, if he's not off with his best friend, Xandra. And that leaves Kinsey's father. A nice man, but not a very strong figure in the children's lives. Oh sure, he's always there for them, but there's no question who wears the pants in the family. No. Not him.
And so, with Kinsey moving out, it's time for her to start a family of her own, now, isn't it?
