..Behemoth.. Behemoth chimera are usually the largest and heaviest of land-walking chimera. They have two pairs of limbs, are usually covered in fur or feathers, and give birth to live young. Generally, behemoths have good physical strength, but little magical ability. GriffonGriffons are distinguished by the flight feathers growing from their pectoral limbs. They may or may not be able to sustain flight and tend to be lighter than other behemoths. They also tend to have feathered tufts on their hind feet and along the dorsal line. Some male griffons will develop a full feathery mane at maturity. Griffons have a strongly monogamous pair-bond. The female is slightly larger and usually dominent over the male. It is she who leaves the pups to hunt while the male stays behind to feed them tidbits of raw meat. PardPards can be identified by their retractable claws and forward digitigrade stance. They usually have thick plush fur and a long flexible spine and tail. Pards tend to be somewhat solitary. The males are larger than the females and may develop furry manes. In general, a darker colored pard will be more aggressive. CanidCanids are the most social of all behemoths. They often hunt in groups of three to five and may form a family group consisting of a dominant pair and either a sibling or an adult offspring. Canids are named for the two large stabbing teeth on the upper jaw. The males are usually larger than the females, but dominance is determined by fighting. The canid foot has several fused joints that prevent it from turning. Canids have a fast running speed, but they are less agile than pards or griffons.

In response to your earlier email, we have enclosed the information requested. In the time that Caleb has spent with us, he has seemed to settle to living with us. There is some tension between him and his brother, but we are working to soothe it over. Caleb has tried to interact with his brother, but hasn't succeeded yet.
Physically, the boy is sound. He's got bumps and bruises from playing rough as most young boys do. Caleb has filled out some since arriving here and has a hearty appetite. He has grown taller as well. We have discussed taking him to get a haircut, but don't want to push him too fast. Thus, his hair has gotten longer and more unkempt, try as we might to get him to brush it.
We went shopping for Caleb shortly after he arrived at our home. The nice button-up shirts and khaki pants that we brought home have suffered considerable wear since. Though not ragged, they are definately not in the best of shape anymore. Caleb's favorites seem to be the green and blue ones. He hates shoes and often tries to run off without putting them on.

Caleb has grown quite a bit. The boy still loves to run, though his attempts at running away have practically stopped now. I think he's realized that he's part of the family now, even if his brother still doesn't speak to him. Caleb's into soccer now and it has been really good for him. It lets him get some of that running energy out and teaches him good sportsmanship as well as how to follow rules.
He is very excited about his chimera and has been driving us up the wall with preparations for it to come home. For now, a place has been set up in Caleb's room, though we're unsure of exactly how fast this thing is going to grow...
We finally got Caleb's hair trimmed so it's not quite so long anymore. Kept the style pretty much the same, though Caleb seems a bit upset still about it. I think he liked the longer hair... but he couldn't be bothered to sit still long enough for it to be brushed, so it had to be trimmed...
His clothes.... are a mess. He tends to wear his soccer jersey, even when there's not a game. He loves the shorts as well and, try as we might, grass stains just do not come out of those clothes. He still hates shoes and can only be forced to wear them for short periods of time.
As far as Caleb's physical state, other than the usual bumps and bruises he's got from playing rough, he's in good shape. He's grown taller and has filled out well with good food. Such a sweet boy, even if he's rather active.

He seems to have become much more reclusive since being introduced into a new environment. He hugs his tail a lot, like somewhat of a security blanket, and has taken to sucking his fingers again. His clothes were self-chosen, and his favorite consists of a loose-fitting charcoal-grey hoodie and grey three-quarter shorts. His refuses to wear shoes, but owns a pair of socks which I have to wash while he's sleeping; his candy-striped cotton socks. he's recently had most of his hair cut, but his fringe was left, for comfort sake, as he seems to appreciate hiding behind it. Though he still scares easily, he now tries his very best to come across as rough, tough, dominant and assertive. He still wears the loose-fitting hoodie he preferred in your last checkup, however he has grown into in it since then. He's switched his short for faded jeans, torn at the knees from overuse, and wears fingerless leather gloves and boots now (he believes it makes himself look tough. Haha.) His hair has grown out a little more at the front, however from his new, more active nature, it doesn't hang so dankly in his eyes. She's very..intense, for lack of a better word. As for appearance, her hair has gotten a little longer. I haven't trimmed it yet, but it's actually quite cute as it is. Personality: Orpheus Solon Akuji looked over the note before she headed to where the boys were playing... if one could call their methods playing. She sat down on the top step, took the pen off of her cap and started to write. Return Note The twins are quite energetic, seeming always to be trying to one up each other in everything from who can run faster to who can eat their food their fastest to who is daring enough to go and poke at one of my giant of a friend June when he is sleeping. Everything is competition! Its a bit exhausting at times. Their mode of dress remains simple enough, they like to keep their feet and hands bare at all times, something about being able to 'feel the Earth' better. They aren't big fans of hats since those cover their ears and make it harder to hear. They wear matching tee shirts and shorts both of natural (browns, greens, greys) or dark colors since they are often rolling around in the dirt during one of their many wrestling matches and tend to stain up bright or light colored clothing. The boys remain as they were the moment I met them, mirror images of each other. As such to save the sanity of my friends who can't tell them as easily apart as I do... or at all in some cases, I have dyed a lock of Uri's hair green and a lock of Lucius's hair blue. They hate it as they aren't able to look exactly alike anymore but they deal with it since for the moment I remain 'alpha' of their pack. I hope that I can remain in such standing. I guess I will have to bone up on my wrestling for the day they want to challenge me. DRAGONSPINE Name: Slyph Handler: Sebastian Type: Dragon Subtype: Featherwing Abilities: Description: Nine feet long. Five feet high at the shoulder. 12 foot wingspan. Large imbedded armor scales. Dull blue in color, with tan feathers. Wings have dark red bands on the primaries. Long neck and tapered head. Strong hindquarters, balanced gate. Spiked elbows, wrists, neck, hocks, wings and tail. Large 3rd claws on all four limbs. Emits low roars and rumbles. Not very vocal. Personality: Notes:Dragonspine's original handler was killed by another chimera, which then attacked it's own handler. Dragonspine also killed the other chimera and chose to partner with the remaining handler. While the two are not actually bonded, they are a very effective killing unit.
