Kaden and Riordan could barely keep Caleb from hitting the ceiling in his bouncing. The canine boy was excited and rightly so. His dads had gotten Faction S to forward on an invitation to all of the kids. Caleb had gotten to pick the location, once his dads set a few limits. It had to be inside, safe, and have places for the adults to sit.

The indoor local playland had qualified. A mass of tubes wound their way up and around, leading to at least three slides, a few overlooks to the parent area (each with steering wheel equipped inside), a ball pit on the lower levels, a rope ladder area along one side, and who knew what else within.

The area was a no shoe zone, not a problem with Caleb as the boy never wore shoes. The golden boy was waiting excitedly for his friends and soon-to-be friends to show up.

Saiyori had deemed Jescobe well enough to stay by himself for a few blessed hours, and after resisting the patented watery blue eyes had agreed to taking Glaceu out to play. He wouldn't admit to it, but he'd missed the inquisitive little girl. Life would have been so much easier had she been living with them. As it was here they were, the shark girl balanced easily on his hip, arms wrapped around his neck, as they entered the play area.

Glaceu seemed to be perpetually dressed for play, blue tank top and special blue shorts with a hole in the back for her tail. She had buried her face into the crook of his neck sometime during their walk, and only now timidly raised her face to look around. Her olive eyes lit up as she took everything in, and seemed to sparkle when she spotted Caleb. "Puppy!" She called out, and wiggled in wanting to be put down.

Saiyori sighed and set her down gently. "No running." He said firmly, indigo eyes holding a silent warning. Glaceu nodded, she knew the concept of time out (they'd discussed it on the way) and didn't want to be punished anytime soon in such a way. She didn't think it would be fun to sit in a corner and stare at a wall for ten minuets.

Once her feet were on the ground she hitched up the fallen shirt strap and moved in a manner that was just shy of the forbidden running. Neither of them noticed the other two children until they cried out. Saiyori watched as Glaceu slowed down to a sedate walk, eyes glued to the two black canines. He could tell that she was unsure, even as he took a seat on one of the benches. "Go on." He called out, "I'm sure they wont bite." Of course he wasn't going to tell her that he was not, in fact, sure that they wouldn't bite. But his words seemed to have a positive effect and the little girl continued forward.

He smoothed out his royal blue silk shirt and made sure the white frog clips in front were closed. He shifted his weight and pulled his mass of crimson hair over a shoulder. He finally settled down to watch the children play, the small pang of wistfulness carefully hidden away. He couldn't remember ever having been young enough to do all the things Glaceu would be doing.

Caleb was in heaven, his tail a blur behind him. He laughed as he was tackled by the twins, giggling as he managed to poke his head out and spot two other children. One he'd met a long time ago, it seemed, and the other was new! The canine boy freed an arm to wave at them. "Hi!"

The boy managed to get loose and raced over to one of the tube entrances. "Race ya!" He cried out to the group before clambering up, disappearing in the brightly colored maze.

Riordan and Kaden sat at one of the tables, watching the other children and guardians arrive. This was a good idea, letting several of the kids get together like this. The men were even a bit surprised to see a child led by a tech show up. Odds were that Caleb wouldn't have gotten field trips with them... not with his tendancy to run off. They were both just glad he'd seemed to outgrow that whole thing.

Saiyori glanced towards the other adults and with a slight sigh, stood and made his way to them. If Glaceu ever made any lasting friends he might as well get to know their parental figures. He hovered a bit, kitsune ears flicking backwards before seeming to make up his mind. "Hullo. I am Saiyori, Glaceu's mentor." He said with a short bow, ever polite fox that he was.

Glaceu turned towards the small fox boy and waved. He was smaller then all of them, and he was ever so cheerful. "Hullo!" She called, and waited for him to come closer. "I'm Glaceu." She said, tail waving sluggishly behind her even as she shifted her weight from foot to foot. She wanted to go play with all those balls, but she didn't want to go by herself. Maybe she would be able to get the little sand colored boy to come with her?

Her olive eyes studied him. His features reminded her of Kitty, and even though his ears were far larger then his own, he still had the same shape about him.

Caleb's giggle echoed within the tubes as he climbed higher and higher, wondering where all the tunnels led to. His path soon led him to one of the slides and he slid down, giggling more as he landed at the bottom, spotting two of the kids. Both were smaller than any of the canine boys, so he wandered over. "Hi!" He hoped he didn't scare them. "'M Caleb!" He announced, hearing the littler of the two say his name.

Kaden nodded to Saiyori. "I'm Kaden and this is Riordan. We're Caleb's guardians." He gestured towards the boy as Caleb exited the slide. "He's so full of energy, we thought it'd be a good idea for him to meet several kids..."

"Hi Puppy!" Glaceu giggled, wiggling her fingers at Caleb. She tilted her head to one side, eyes bright. "I member you! We played with blocks." She suddenly looked shy and twiddled her thumbs, "Will you play with me an Iamie?" It had been a long long time since she'd played with Caleb, and he looked a lot older then her. Not old enough to be scary, but old enough to be a bigger.

Her gaze darted over to the other canine that appeared and wondered why he looked worried, before she remember that he had a brother that came with him. She giggled at his words and nodded.

"Glaceu is calm, too calm from what we were told." Saiyori replied, looking over his shoulder at the children before turning back to the adults. "My roommate and I are hoping that she'll overcome this..not quite forced maturity and act her age." His cool indigo eyes softened, "The world is hard enough without having to have lost the naive innocence that comes with youth as such a age."

Caleb grinned, nodding. "Sure!" He glanced back at Lucius when he heard a howl coming from the tunnels. "Oh." He giggled as well. "Wanna go find him?" He glanced over at the younger two as well, before spotting another kid come in and head directly towards the tubes and disappearing.

Kaden glanced over at the kids for a moment. "Well, considering what some of them have probably been through... it's a bit of a miracle that any of them can act like kids again." They'd managed to get a bit of Caleb's past out of him, but he didn't remember much other than living on the streets before a brief stay at an orphanage and then Faction S.

Lucius gave a bit of a shrug of his shoulders, "We probably should." He murmured, going over the idea in his mind. Saving his twin, huh? That would definitely be what a leader would do if one of his pack mates got lost he thought before nodding his head, "Before he starts crying." He could tell from his brother's howl that he was a bit distressed about being lost so easily in the tunnels. Lucius wouldn't admit it but he didn't much like the idea of being away from his brother so he was more eager then he appeared to go back into the pipes to find him.

Uri listened closely, ears flicking back and forth as he heard movement in the tunnels and hoped that the sound was his brother on his way to helping him out of here. How embarrassing to get lost like this... his attention was suddenly captured by a strange scent that reached him and he started to sniff at the air.

Cat? Was there a cat in the tunnels? He sniffed at the air again before he abandon the spot he was sitting at to follow the scent, curiosity pulling him along.
