A Strange Discovery
Shayla, the Dovaa wet nurse that was helping out Junjie with the baby, was currently on her way to where Junjie was standing, chatting with the others in their small group. In one arm was the Junjie's little one who was happily tugging on her hair, in the other arm was her own son who was napping at the moment. The woman walked over to stand near to the group, waiting quietly, until they finally turned her way.
"Ahh, is she done eating already?" Junjie asked as he took the baby from Shayla, carefully aiding the woman in getting free from the little girl's grabby hands, then wrapped his cloak around the little girl to fend off some of the sun's light, "Are you nice and full, my little one? That's good, I hope you didn't give Shayla too much of a yard time." He knew that the girl was quite inquisitive, always wanting to grab hold of everything so she could pull it closer to get a better look at it. While he was used to all the tugging, as were both of his Khehora, he knew that others weren't quite as used to it.
The woman gave a soft chuckle before she shifted her child in her arms before handing him over to his father, a tall Orderite who was another member of the group, "It's quite alright, Jun, she is a good girl, just curious." She said before stepping closer. She seemed to get a thoughtful look on her face before she asked, "Junjie, what do you know of the girl's father?" He had talked of her mother, who was all Oblivionite according to Junjie, but she hadn't heared anything about the little one's father which was quite curious about.
"Her father? I can't say for sure, I am assuming he was Orderite given her wings though. Any details about him though... well, I haven't a clue." He said, giving a little sigh as he looked down at the little one in his arms, leaning in to give her a kiss on the forehead, "I wish I knew more about him or even where to look for him. She is his daughter, I am just caring for her until I can find him." If he could find him. He didn't even know if the man was alive... what if he'd died before the Oblivionite woman had been attacked? What if he didn't even know about the fact that the woman was carrying? He might not even be interested in raising a mixed blood child, not everyone was. Fooling around with another race, maybe, but raising a child that came from that tryst, that was a whole other ordeal.
Taking a step forward Shayla took Jun's hand in hers, "I don't think he was an Orderite, Junjie, I think he was more then that." She said, helping him to find something she had found not that long ago, "See? I was brushing her hair after she ate, I was going to put it up in pig tails to get it out of her eyes when I found this."
Junjie's fingers brushed against the small bumps on the little girl's head, something that he hadn't noticed before, something that made his eyes go wide, "Horn buds?" He murmured, his voice showing surprise. It was an announcement that had the others gathering closer to get a better look at the girl. She looked up at them, wide eyed and curious, but reallly gave no protest when the other set to inspecting the find as well. Horn buds, there was only one race amongst the three of them that got such a thing and that was Dovaa! Giving a smile Junjie said, "So her father was like me. Interesting." That might very well make it even harder to find him, those like him, they were good at making themselves scarce due to those in the world that didn't like them. It was one more reason to look after her and to protect her, she was a mix of all of the races, not just two of them.
"I thank you for bringing this to me, Shayla, I will see about keeping a closer eye on her from now on. I would rather outsiders didn't tease her because of her mixed blood." He said, smiling down at the little girl who had gone from looking at the others who had been checking out her growing horns to instead playing with the pretty accessory in Jun's hair. Turning to look at the other members in the gathered group he said, "I am going to go talk with Abellio and Arjan, they should be made known of this as well since they help me look after her."
Giving everyone a nod he headed over to where his Khehora were waiting for him. It seemed as though things had gotten that much more complicated but it didn't mean that they were going to stop protecting her, it just meant that the little one was that much more special that was all. Upon reaching their sides the two came trotting over to look the little one over before leaning in to nuzzle against her head in a thoughtful manner, curious about what it was that he had been picking up on, before he gave a purring sound, "Oooo, neat! She's like a mix of you and Tila!" He chirped in a happy manner, tail swishing behind him. Arjan looked at the girl for a long moment, making sure to stay out of reach, before he said, "This will make things more difficult." He muttered, then looked over at Jun, "We will need to go to him, huh? That Sage. It's the only way to get a hold of one of those 'great orbs' from what Abellio told me of when you first went to the Sage for aid." He wasn't sure what he thought about continuing to go to the Dovaa Sage for aid, it made it feel as though they weren't strong enough as a group if they needed to keep getting help from outsiders. Not only the Dovaa Sage but Lios and Arick as well. It frustrated him a little, he wanted to be able to do more for Junjie after all with his own abilities!
Junjied reaching out, patting Arjan on the head, "It will be alright, Arjan. The fact that we can see help from others is a good thing, it means despite what I am I have allies out there. They might be few and far between but they are loyal." He reassured the Kiandri, "As for the problem with finding a 'great orb' she is far too young for that. She needs to be old enough to pick which clan she wishes to be a part of after all. So much to think about and so much to do, but first and foremost he felt that they needed to pick a name for her. She really needed one of those most of all before he even considered the next step in their path.

Much to Think On
It had taken a bit of thought on the part of Junjie but finally he had come up with a name for the little girl that he was taking care of and that name was Keona. It was the sort of name that he felt was one that suited her due to the meaning. The name meant 'Gift from God'. Turning to look over at Abellio he gave a bit of a smile, "I think the question then becomes 'which God' huh?" The girl was a mix of all three races, meaning that she was a very special gift, one that he felt should be loved and protected because there were those out there who wouldn't see little Keona in the same manner that he felt she should be treated. That merely meant that she would need to be strong so that she would be able to hold her head high in the future he thought to himself. Leaning over he gave her a kiss on the forehead, "It will be alright, we will keep you safe." He told her, giving the little one a smile.
There was a snort from Arjan, "We can keep her safe for only so long, Junjie. We need to consider training her once she is old enough for such things." The Kiandri told him, feeling that as the responsible one, as well as the only on who wasn't as bedazzled by everything that the little whelp did, that it was his task to make sure she was well trained. Just as with Junjie he would be sure to get on her case to make sure that she was able to fight! Just hoping for the best wasn't going to get her ahead in the world, she had to be ready to fight for what she wanted just as Junjie always had to fight for everything he wanted.
There was a quiet, thoughtful pause on Junjie's part before he gave a bit of a sigh, "Maybe we will be lucky and things will be better when she grows up." While he hoped that would be the case he knew full well he couldn't bet on the end of the war happening. As such he would need to follow Arjan's suggestion, wouldn't he? Not something that he liked the sound of but then again he was sure that his mother had felt the same way when it came to him learning to battle as he had. He'd had the aid of the Dovaa Sage, something that he might have to seek out for Keona. It wasn't something that they didn't have to worry about right now though, not when she was still so tiny. It was still their duty to look after her and make sure that she was kept safe. The day that she had to fight was something he hoped wouldn't happen any time soon. He would rather that she stayed small enough so that he could keep her safe.
Turning to look at Arjan he finally said, "You are right, she will need to learn, but not quite yet. Given she is too little to even stay awake for long periods of time I am sure that she doesn't need to be battling dragons or carrying weapons quite yet. If you want to help train her when she is bigger though I suppose I can allow it. I know you have done well in motivating me in the past after all."
Arjan seemed to puff up and preen a bit, seeming to be quite pleased with Junjie's words. Good, so his bonded agreed with him, "Good, I will see to it that she gets strong." It would be a lot harder then training Junjie though. The girl wasn't his bonded after all meaning that he would need to talk out loud to her a lot, giving her vocal instruction and orders. It would take a bit longer he was sure but it would be worth it if she was a better student then Junjie could be at times. He really had to push to get him to listen at times when he found something more interesting to do... things such as gallivanting about to play with his friends. Foolish wastes of time that took up valuable training time. He'd teach the little whelp how to better manage her time he thought to himself, tail swishing behind him thoughtfully.
"Just don't push her too hard, Arjan, or she might not like you." Abellio spoke up, not wanting to see the Kiandri picking on Keona even if it was because he wanted to see her succeed. Surely he must know that pushing too hard wouldn't end well? He'd rather not see her balk at her training because Arjan was too harsh a teacher after all, "Besides... we don't even know yet what sort of fighter she will be. Like our Jun she has much potential." He couldn't help but to wonder what sort of weapon she might pick and what clan she would want to be a part of! It was all so exciting!
Those thoughts seemed to get Junjie thinking as well, "Mmm, her clan... I hadn't even thought of that. I should probably speak with the Dovaa Sage about that, to see if it would be possible for her to get her a grand orb when the time for such a things comes." He mused out loud to the two Khehora.
Abellio gave a smile and said, "I am sure that he will help, he always does." He told his bonded before he gave Keona a glance, "Will you have her become Ysali like we are?" He asked a curious manner, wonder if Junjie wanted for her to follow in his footsteps, "Or will you encourage her to be Peisio like your mother?"
"Pft, she should be Kiandri like the Dovaa Sage and myself." Arjan spoke up, a smirk appearing on his face as he spoke. It was obvious that he was trying to pick a fight with Abellio over which clan it was that Keona should pick.
Both Khehora likely believed that their clan was the best clan and while Junjie enjoyed the powers that he had as a Ysali Dovaa he felt as though that was all a part of getting to truly choose his clan. He smiled as he looked down at the little girl who was resting in his arms before he finally said, "I will likely allow her to choose her own clan. Meeting others, such as the two of you, the Dovaa Sage, and of course mother will help her to see some of the clans. It would be good if she could meet with Tilawen, Rio, and Lilith as well, that would allow her to see Firani and Aiskala up close as well." He found himself wondering if Lilith had decided upon what clan she wanted to be a part of herself. It was something he'd have to ask her the next time he saw her though he couldn't say that she would be that much more talkative when next time. It likely depended on her mood.
"You still think we will find Tilawen?" Abellio asked in a curious manner, knowing full well that Junjie wanted to find his missing friend but given how much time had passed he felt that such a thing was unlikely. They had been searching for ages without so much of a single sighting of her, even Rio hadn't seen her...
Junjie glanced at Abellio, then dropped his gaze to looking at Keona who reminded him of Tilawen if only due to her coloration. The dark skin and reddish hair were very much like his friend he thought for an idle moment before he said, "I... want to believe that we will. She has been missing for a while but maybe she is off training? She might just want to get strong so that she can show her father up or something." At least that was what he hoped. Even if it were possible that he might not find her he felt that since he hadn't seen her gravestone and hand't heard news of her passing that she was still out there. He'd keep looking until he found her or the a fore mentioned stone.
"For now, let's think of happier things. Such as possible travel. We won't be able to go until Keona is no longer in need of her wet nurse but we still need to figure out exactly how we will be getting home to Serenia or to Ayr as we are." Two Hybrids of different mixes and two Khehora, it made travel interesting that was for sure. They would likely need to consult with Lios, something he felt guilty about since he didn't want to see as though he were using the Orderite but still, the man did want to make up to Junjie his past indiscretions. Maybe it would be alright to get some help from him? Given it wasn't needed straight away though he saw no reason to worry about it overly much at the moment. He'd worry about that later but he wanted it out there, just in case the other two came up with better ideas.
His thoughts were interrupted as Keona started to squirm and fuss a bit, a sure sign that she was starting to get hungry. He had been with her long enough that he was starting to get a hang of what she was trying to communicate to him. Be it that she was hungry, sleepy, or that she needed to be changed he was starting to slowly figure it out. She tossed in other things from time to time to test him, things like wanting to play, wanting Abellio to come closer so she could yank on him, and the like. Still, at least he was learning. Pushing to his feet he said, "Come on, let's see about getting you some more food." He cooed at Keona, getting a little smile from her before he started out of the tent then to where the wet nurse waited, ever flanked by his Khehora who were even more protective then ever now that they were guarding two Hybrids instead of one.

Decision Made
Keona and Bisera were sitting in the shade outside the small place where their hunting party had been staying while they were in Tukyere. The two of them were going over the notes that they had taken up to this point, studying the information contained on the pages. Their investigating and interviews of those of various clans covered a lot of information, all of it important to the pair of them due to what it represented. What they decided was going to change their lives, determining the powers and abilities that they were going to gain. It was too important for them not to put a lot of time and thought into.
It was Bisera that spoke up first as he asked her, "What do you think, Nana?" Wondering what she thought about the various information that they had gathered. There were so many options, so many clans, that a Dovaa was able to choose from once they came of age. While the two of them weren't of pure Dovaa lineage they had the blood of that clan running through their veins, as such they would still need to face this choice. As he looked everything over, brushing the tips of his fingers against the papers spread out before him he finally said, "I think I want to go Gaili, they seem like power houses if that big guy we met was any indication. If I am going to take over for my father one day I am going to have to be as strong as he is."
"A rather lofty goal." Keona mused, starring down at the paper for a moment then nodded, "Alright, I think that, if you are going to become a Gaili then I want to be..." He looked at one of the clans, what they had learned of it, and such gave a smile, "I want to be of the Ayrala clan."
The two hybrid children looked up at each other, down at their notes, then up again before they seemed to realize that they had finally done it, they had decided! The two were suddenly scrambling up to their feel, grabbing up their papers so that they could race over to where their parents were currently gathered, trying to decide what they were going to do from here. Keona jumped up, giving a flap of her golden wings and hung off off of her father's back while Bisera did the same to his father. The two of them then exclaimed in excited voices, "We picked our clans!"
The hunting party seemed to go completely quiet, everyone exchanging surprised glances. The pair had been working on studying the clans for so long that the group was pretty sure that they were never going to be able to decide what clan that they wanted to draw their powers from. Surprisingly enough it was the often silent Aeton that asked, "So what clans did you decide on?" He'd been been following after them while they hassled various people with Dovaa blood about their clans and he had to admit that he was rather interested in what clans they would finally decide upon.
Dropping off his father's Bisera lifted a hand to pat it against his chest and declared, "I am going to be the most powerful Gaili ever! I will prove that I will be a good leader one day." He gave a toothy grin.
Keona pulled herself up so that she could look over Junjie's shoulder at Bisera, then around the group, before she said, "I want to be of the Ayrala clan, they sound so amazing!" She said in an excited manner.
Both of them then looked up at their parents and asked in unison, "Can we join the clans now?" They were eager to become a part of their respective clans now that they had decided which ones they wanted to be a part of. The sooner they were able to join their clans the sooner that they would be all the magic that their respective clan had access too. They had seen their parents and fellow hunting party members wielding such magic, something that made them all that much more excited to do just that!
The group exchanged thoughtful gazes before Hart finally sighed, lifting a hand up to everyone's attention before he said, "I will fetch the great orbs from the Celestial Plane, I've been wanting to check on the family I have there anyway." He shrugged then as though it was nothing before he lifted a hand, pointing at the kids, "If either of you even think of hugging me the deal is off and someone else can fetch them."
As the man moved off, going to gather his things, Aeton hurried after him, to chat with him before he left. With the two of them gone it was Kathel who spoke up next, "While we wait for Hart to return with their great orbs I think that perhaps we should consider another important milestone for our children, don't you think Shayla, Junjie?"
Shayla and Junjie both went wide eyed as they realized what that meant, seeming to be struggling with the thought before Junjie finally said in a reluctant tone of voice, "Weapons... it's not something I want to think about Keona getting already, she is still so young... but at the same time we don't know when the Mara might pop back up. Not to mention they will likely sneak out again to try to hunt dragons. We can leave them unarmed." A hard thing for him to consider because it meant giving his baby a weapon.
Of course said 'babies' were both suddenly jumping up and down in delight over the fact that they would soon get to pick weapons along with having just picked clans. It was something that would only make them that much more formidable. On top of that Junjie had mentioned more dragon hunts, something that the two wanted to try again soon! The first attempt hadn't gone too well but with practice surely they would be able to get better at such a thing.
Junjie gave a soft sigh before he said, "Alright, go play, Kathel and I will see about talking with the local blacksmith, alright?" He watched as the two squealing children rushed off, turning to the big Orderite and said, "I suppose we should go then? Shayla, will you come along?"
The Peisio woman shook her head, "Go ahead you two, I will wait here for Aeton to get back." She said, making a little shooing motion that said that the pair could go ahead and chat with the blacksmith about the weapons. A part of her wanted to try to talk the pair into following her lead, to be noncombatant healers, but she knew that the two were far too much like their fathers for something like that. No, they wanted to be in the think of things meaning she would need to be prepared to heal up any bumps, bruises, and wounds that they might come back with when they did go out hunting. It was the job of a wife and mother to wait it for her children to return, something she had to remind herself of.

Armed and Ready
As they arrived at the spot that their children were standing Junjie and Kathel found themselves starring down at an unexpected addition to the pair, that being a little orakoi that was standing there with them. The pair of fathers exchanged glances before looking forward at the creature that was with their children again once more, both thinking about the same thing, where the thing had come from and which of the two children it was bonded with. It was a bit of a surprise, that the two of them had gotten a Khehora egg from somewhere, especially that neither of them had spilled such a secret to anyone in the group.
Junjie knew he couldn't really say much, not when he had two bonded of his own. As such if it was Keona that had bonded with this little one then he'd just have to help her learn how to best raise the little guy. After a long moment of silence he finally said, "We were able to chat with the blacksmith, he said that if we hurry over he will be able to talk to the two of you and help you to pick our your weapons." He wanted nothing more then to talk about the little Khehora whelp that the pair had with them but he knew full well that they had to get to the blacksmith first. The man couldn't put his business on hold forever for them after all.
Kathel glanced over at Junjie, seeming to be weighing his option, before nodding. It seemed as though Junjie meant to leave the talk about the little whelp later and he supposed that it made sense. They needed to get back after all, everything else could wait until after the two were given their special weapons, something that the two of them needed. Kathel wasn't so foolish or naive to think that his son was going to have it easy, not when he was of mixed heritage. As such Bisera, as well as Keona, both needed to be armed and trained to use both their weapons and their magic to the best of their abilities so that they would be able to protect each other and themselves.
"Come along Bisera, Keona, we need to hurry if we don't want to lose our chance." Kathel said, motioning to them, before turning to lead the way back in the direction the two father's had come from.
Keona and Bisera exchanged glances before hurrying to gather up their things. Once they had everything picked up they hurried after their fathers as quickly as their feet would carry them, not really noticing the fact that the little Khehora was following along after them. The two kids had fed the little guy and now that they had it appeared as though he was determined to stick with them. The trio caught up with Junjie and Kathel a short time later, with the two apprentices coming to stand alongside their fathers while the little Khehora trailed behind a couple steps, keeping a close eye on everyone so as not to lose track of his meal ticket.
What was a very short time later, but felt as though it were an eternity for Keona and Bisera, the pair of them were arriving at the blacksmith. A small sign was up declaring that he would 'be back shortly' leaving people to make a line, while the small group went around to enter the shop through a side door. It was then that the two of them saw the big blacksmith again, someone that they had only seen from a distance the last time that they were near to his shop. Not to mention that they had been more interesting in bothering that Gaili man then really getting a good look at the blacksmith who had been hard at work.
Junjie was the first to speak up as he said, "I thank you for taking time out of your day to help us out like this." Ever the polite sort when it came to everyone that he dealt with.
The man starred at Junjie before giving his scruffy chin a scratch, "Yeah, yeah, don't be thinking that I am doing you some grand favor. I enjoy breaks from time to time and that is more or less what this is." He said, shrugging before he motioned to the weapons that he'd laid out on the ground, "These are the ones, the weapons that you kids can pick from, weapons that will be for you and you alone once they become yours." Laying there before them were four weapon types, the sword, the mace, the bow, and the wand. The man gave them a moment to inspect them before he said, "They are imprinted weapons, magical in nature, and their forms will come to reflect your own power and heart, you will see in time. So, any idea what you might want to wield?"
It was a question that had both Junjie and Kathel holding their breath, not wanting to interfere with the choice, it was something that the pair of apprentices had to choose on their own after all. The only thing the two could do was wait, watch, and then help them learn how best to wield their chosen weapon, and magic, when everything had been finalized.
It was Bisera who acted first, taking a step forward to scoop up the mace, giving it a toothy grin, "This is the one I want, it will go well with my clan I feel." Bisera was going all out assault it would appear, something that he felt would be best when it came to taking out any threats that came at their group. He tested the weight of the weapon in one hand, then two, before giving a nod, "This is definitely the one, I can feel it." He took a step back then, clapping his hand on Keona's back and asked, "What about you? Whatca thinking, Nana?"
Keona gave a thoughtful sound in her throat as she went through the other three weapons. While she knew that she too could pick the mace she was alright with just Bisera getting that one, it didn't exactly call to her. Neither did the sword as she gave it a glance, no, it would be either the wand or the bow, both were good weapons, useful at a distance, useful for an Ayrala who could get up high, but which one? A part of her said that she should pick the wand so that she could be like her father, knowing that if she picked it that she could learn a lot from him as far as magic went... but she wasn't her father. She loved him but she didn't want to follow after him and be his shadow, she was her own person after all. After giving Junjie a glance she drew in a deep breath, let it out slowly, and walked forward to pick up the bow, "I want this one." She murmured, hoping that her father wouldn't be upset with her choice not to become a pure mage like him. She would be able to still wield Dovaa magic after all, so it wasn't as though she was closing the door on such magic completely, right?
Kathel and Junjie inspected the choices made by the pair before both gave them smiles, "Good picks." Kathel said, patting both of them on the head before he dug into his pocket, getting out the necessary coin to pay for Bisera's weapon and Junjie followed suit, paying for the bow that Keona had picked, "I will work with you, Bisera, when it comes to your weapon, Aeton will be able to help Keona with learning her bow, and Junjie, you and Shayla and... well... Hart, you three will help with magic. While you are all of different clans you will be able to at least teach them the basics, right?"
Junjie nodded his head, "Of course, different spells but the theory will remain the same." He said, giving the pair a smile, "Once Hart returns with your Great Orbs then our magic lessons will begin. Until then work hard with your weapon practice, alright? We are counting on you to do your best, no more running off and getting into trouble, alright?" A warning he hoped would keep the pair from going off to take on every dragon without a Eowyn now that they had the weapons to do so.
The kids gave rapid nods of their heads before they were rushing off, the Khehora following close behind, wanting to get back so that they could show their new weapons off to Shayla and Aeton. It was an exciting day for them both, excitement that would only grow as they waited for Hart to get back with their Great Orbs so that they could join their chosen clans. There was going to be nothing but lessons for the two of them for some time to come, especially after the orbs arrived, but it would be worth it in their minds. They wanted to do more then just hide after all, they wanted to fight to, to help protect their family, and if studying would help them do that then so be it! They would just have to sneak off and have fun between the lessons was all.

Letters to Arick
Keona and Bisera were quick to rush over to where Shayla was, orbs in hand, both of them looking extremely excited over them. As they showed them off, both of them trying to talk at once to tell her how the hunt went, the woman couldn't only smile and nod. She then lifted a hand up to calm and quiet the two of them before she said, "I have some good news for you if you think that you can take it? I know that the passed few days have been pretty exciting for the two of you." It was something that had the pair all but bouncing in place, but they were doing their best not to say anything that might make her keep teasing them with the 'news' that she had.
Shayla looked over at Junjie and Kathel, smiled at them, then turned back to look at the kids again, "I got a letter delivered to me today from a carrier bird. It seems that Hart has the orbs and he is on his way back here. He will arrive in the new few days." She barely got the words out and the two of them were back to bouncing around in delight, rushing over to their father's to make sure that they had heard Shayla just as the two of them had. The excitement was near to the point that the two of them were going to just keel over from it. They had been able to choose their clans, choose their weapons, go on a dragon hunt with their father's, and now this? Was here anything that could ruin this good streak of luck? The two of them really didn't think so! It was all just... so great!
"Dad! Dad! Did you hear here? In a couple days I am going to be an Ayrala! I will be able to learn to do magic! It's so exciting! I can't wait, I hope Hart hurries!" Keona was saying, tugging on Junjie's arm with one hand, the other one still clutching to the orb that she was holding.
It was something that had the older hybrid smiling, as though seeing his daughter in such a good mood, as well as so excited, brought him great joy. Junjie had times where he sort of spiraled, had bad days, lonely days, but seeing Keona like this was uplifting even for him. His eyes went to the orb that she held and he gave a soft sigh before he said, "I think that, while we wait for Hart to get back, that we should discuss something else of importance. I know it won't be nearly as interesting as getting weapons, joining clans, or battling the dragons of the world, but still, it needs to be done." Even if he wasn't a bit fan of the chore himself that was for personal reasons, he wasn't going to let it color his daughter's opinion on the task.
"Every so often, to show that we are working hard toward ours goals, we are to send some dragon orbs to the leader of our factions through a man named Arick. I think we should see about sitting down, writing him a nice letter, and sending it to him along with the orbs." He explained, glancing over at Kathel, then smiled, "I think I will sit down and write the letter with Keona if you and Shayla wish to do the same with Bisera? I know the two of them tend to work together on this sort of thing but I have been lax in sending orbs to Arick myself."
Kathel nodded, motioning to Bisera, "Come on boy, let's go and get this done. Letter writing hasn't always been my strong suit but Junjie is right, it's something we have to do. Once it's done the two of you kids can see about preparing a welcome home present for Hart. He's gone out of his way for those orbs and you both owe him for that." He said, leading his son and wife to the table to sit down.
Junjie watched them go before turning his attention back to Keona, "Come, let's see about getting these letters done, hm?" He said, walking with her to another place so that they could sit down together, just the two of them. Abellio and Arjan were waiting outside with Meir, looking after the little whelp so that Junjie could tend to this task with his daughter, a task for them to take on by themselves. It would be the first time in a long time since they'd had this sort of one on one time since there always seemed to be someone else nearby. Each of them got a piece of paper and a writing implement before they went to work on their respective letters.
It took a short amount of time for Keona to get her's done, having written out what she felt was important to the man that her fathered called Arick before she said, "All done! What do you think?" She said, reading it over real fast for him, "Dear Mister Arick, I am sending to you two kiandri dragon orbs that I got during some hunts with my friend and our fathers. I hope that you can see them into the right hands. Because of my mixed blood, I am Oblvionite, Orderite, and Dovaa, I don't know who the orbs should go. Please pick for me. From, Keona."
Junjie gave a chuckle, "That sounds good. Leave your letter here, as well as the two orbs, and when I am doing with my letter I will box everything up. Do you want to help with that or do you want to go play with Meir?" He asked of her, having a bit harder time with the letter himself. It was going to take him a bit to really figure out how to word it and as such he didn't want to keep Keona all day. He watched as she seemed to be in debate before he turned back to his letter, tapping the tip of his pen against the paper in a thoughtful manner, then looked up again... finding her gone. Junjie looked around for a moment, then spotted her just as she was heading out the door, off to play with Meir it seemed. He gave a smile before returning to the letter.
It took him a while but he was finally able to get his thoughts down on paper, deciding that Keona was onto something. While he couldn't say that he had much in the way of loyalty to one leader or another he left it up to Arick, asking him to direct the orbs to the one that he felt would be most worthy of them. So long as the orbs that Junjie had gathered, as well as the ones that Keona had gathered, ended up in the right hands then he would be happy. The problem was his biased blinded him toward whose hands were 'right' making it difficult to decide who he should see them given to. He knew leaving it up to Arick may be a gamble, he might see them go to whoever his biased preferred, but Junjie would allow it. So long as he didn't have to decide in an arbitrary, pulling a name out of a hat manner, then he was happy.
He set to work packing up the orbs and the letters, as well as those that Bisera gave to him before the boy ran off, and soon he was seeing to it that the package was sent to Arick. Feeling mentally exhausted from that exercise Junjie got up to his feet, heading for the door, and was glad to be met by Abellio and Arjan, giving them both a hug before turning to watch the two kids as they ran around with the little Orakoi. It would help to relax him after all that letter writing.

The Orbs Arrive
One almost felt bad for Hart as he came into view and got all but tackled by the two children that had been waiting 'forever' for him to get back with his precious cargo that he'd gotten from the Celestial Plane. A pair of dragon orbs, one Gaili and one Ayrala, that were meant for the two kids that were currently hanging off of him asking him a million questions at once. The man gave a bit of a sighing sound, looking over to Aeton who was nearby, and the Orderite archer was quick to come over and help to detach the kids from the Firani. Looking down at him the red eyed Dovaa said, "If you would calm down? I'd rather not have these orbs break and their power go about in some wonky manner." He shook his head, then looked over at the other grown ups, "I see you all laughing over there! I will singe the lot of you if you don't... hey... hey! I said stop laughing not laugh."
The Firani Dovaa was tempted to gather some fire right then and there but Aeton stopped him, giving him a pat on the shoulder before he said, "If you give them the orbs they will leave you alone." Words that had Hart calming down before he shrugged the pack off his shoulder, dug into it, and handed off the two orbs to the two kinds, "Now scram you little monsters." He said, waving the two of them off before going to stand next to Aeton who he quietly spoke with, getting caught up with what he'd missed since he'd left.
Junjie and Kathel were nearly tackled by their kids as they came over with the two big, great orbs, both of them asking if they could use them yet, if they could become a part of their new clans, how long before they could use magic, and various other questions like that. Their excitement was catchy, something that had Junjie and Kathel both smiling, as well as making Shayla laugh. It was the woman who spoke up, lifting her hands to rest them on the kids' heads to calm them, before saying, "Let's go inside and we will see about helping you both to take on the power from the orbs." The pair jumping around and squealing was already getting enough attention turned their way, they didn't need to go about this outside. It was a family affair if you asked her and while Junjie and Keona weren't blood they were still family.
The whole of the group, even Hart, and all of the Khehora, all headed inside the house that they were staying in. It was a bit on the tight side but for the moment nobody really cared, instead everyone was just eager to see the two of them join their clans.
Junjie smiled, feeling so proud of his daughter yet again, how strong she was getting. He had been so worried when she was little given the way that she came into the world. She was dong well though, reminding him a lot of himself when he was younger, only she seemed to be a little better about not wandering off as far. If his mother knew some of the places that he'd gone with she was younger she'd of had a fit. A thought that had him thinking about his mother, about his home in Serenia, now that everything had come together right he felt that after this they should start planning their return their. His mother had yet to meet Keona in person after all, only hearing about her through letters though the Mara had cut off that contact. He was eager to get back to Serenia soon, to see how things were doing there, how his mother was doing. Before all of that though there was this ritual.
"Alright, Keona, all you have to do is break the orb. The power will flow out of it, into you, and imbue you with the essence of the Ayrala clan." Junjie said, remember the day that he had gotten his own great Ysali orb and how happy he'd been. It had been a great day and he wanted it to be a day for Keona to remember as well.
Bisera, who was listening in, turned to Keona and said, "Alright, back to back, Nana, we will count to three and BAM, we will be full fledged Dovaa!" As if it would be that easy to become one, but Junjie, nor Hart in fact, said anything about all the hard work that they would need to do to be able to use their magic and really become a 'full fledged' Dovaa. That could be saved for later though, for now they would allow the pair to enjoy the moment.
Just as he'd suggested the pair of them stood back to back with each other, lifting the orbs up over their heads, and after counting to three they threw the orbs down, shattering them, and released the powers. The golden brown energy of the Gaili orb wrapped around Bisera as the silver energy of the Ayarala wrapped around Keona. The changes were immediate as they absorbed the power of their respective clans, and after all of the energy had been taken into them they spun around to face each other, and set to inspecting the changes in one another in an excited manner. It was a sight that had Junjie, Kathel, and Shayla all smiling, the three of them quite proud of their little ones.
Shayla clapped her hands together then and said, "Come! It's a day to celebrate so how about we go to the market and see about getting ingredients for a cake?" Words that had the two kids squealing once more before they each caught hold of one of her hands, dragging her off to do just that with Meir quick to follow after them. Great dragon orbs and cake, what could be better then that? If you asked Keona and Bisera they would likely say that nothing at all could possibly be better, something that Hart would silently agree on as the Firani seemed to be just as excited about the cake. He'd take a big piece and call it his payment for going so far out of his way.
Junjie turned to Kathel and said, "Come, I'd like to chat with you a bit while those three go shopping." He said, leading the big Orderite outside so that they could talk. Abellio and Arjan followed after Junjie, never leaving their bonded alone often. It went from stuffy and loud, to quiet and empty in a short amount of time leaving Aeton and Hart alone in the house to clean up in the after math of their ritual. It was something Hart was instantly complaining about but Aeton didn't seem to mind, then again it had always been pretty hard to ruffle the archers
