"An Un-Recognized Life Form. Meat Life, It Appears. We Must Bring It Back To Study."
Those words were rather chilling, ones that reminded him a bit too much of a situation that he had dealt with some time ago, back when a strange creature named Alpha had appeared and stolen Rio away. Turning slowly in sync with Arjan and Abello, both of which were walking along flanking him. The three of them starred at the strange creature and Junjie gave a confused sound, "It's... not like him... is it?" He murmured, not sure if he should be relieved or worried, maybe both at the same time. It wasn't the patchwork creature that had taken his friend away from him but it was still something that was talking about him in an uncomfortable manner, one that spoke of wanting to 'bring him back for study' and referred to him as 'meat life' which was just uncomfortable in all ways. This being might not be Alpha but it was still something that he didn't want to deal with.
"Arjan, Abellio, we need to get out of here." He told them through his bond, "A the count of three, Abellio, we will entangle it with our vines then we will retreat. We don't want to risk any of us getting capture. We need to get back to our group, back to Keona." She was with the wet nurse at the moment and now that this thing was present and hunting them he wanted nothing more then to get back to the others, especially given that there my be a chance that this rock like creature might not be alone. Keona might be in danger as well, not to mention the rest of the group, all the people he had been traveling with, people he cared for, people he wanted to get back to.
He glanced from side to side, making sure the two were ready, "One... two... three! Instantly some old, dried up, gnarly vines burst up from the ground to tangle up the creature that was floating there before them. The moment that the vines took hold the three of them of them were on their way, away from the strange, now struggling statue, heading back in the direction that they had been moving away from. The three of them were going to be making the rounds, making sure that there weren't any more Gaili dragons creeping around the area, preparing another attack on their camp. It would appear as though they had found something far worse he thought to himself as he hurried along, glancing over his shoulder every now and again, "If it breaks free you need to be ready to blast it with some of your power, Arjan." He told the Kiandri, gathering energy himself, prepared to use it if he had to do so.
He'd rather not deal with the strange creature when he knew so little about it and he really didn't want to risk facing it on his own when it was threatening to capture him for study. He knew what places like that were like, places where people studied other people, and he would be damned if he got himself or his bonded captured. Back at camp they would have greater numbers and, if they were lucky, a chance at defeating that creature if it followed them that far once it escaped the vines that entangled it.

Upon spotting the camp Junjie felt his heart skip a beat and he quickened his steps that much more, wanting nothing more then to get back, to check on everyone, and find Keona. While he was sure that she was safe, she was with the hunters after all, he still wanted to see her. He would feel a lot better once he had. Looking from side to side at the two who were flanking him he gave a smile, "I am glad that you two were with me." Their proximity was one that he enjoyed, it made him feel so much better as far as his courage went. He wasn't sure what he would have done if he had run into that thing by himself.
Abellio gave a smile, leaning in to nudge against him, then said, "It's alright, Junjie. We will always be there for you." He said, nibbling on his hair in a gentle manner before turning his attention to the camp, his wings fluttering rapidly, "Look, look! There is Keona!" He chirped, seeing her getting carried along in the arms of the wet nurse along with her son who was in the woman's other arm.
"You should go get the little whelp so that the poor woman doesn't have her hands so fun." Arjan suggested, giving Junjie permission to rush ahead, which the man took full advantage of. The Kiandri turned to look at Abellio before he said, "I am going to circle around the camp, to make sure nothing is about, you stick with Junjie." He said before he went trotting off to patrol.
The ysali watched as Arjan went on his way before rushing forward to join Junjie was happily cuddling on the now squealing, giggling Keona. He stood quietly as the two of them were reunited before turning to look over at him as Junjie was telling the woman that he needed to see the entire camp. It seemed that he was going to tell everyone at once? That would save them a lot of time he thought to himself as he leaned in, giving Keona a nuzzle against her soft, messy hair. It might take a little bit to get the whole camp gathered but until then he'd stay with Junjie and Keona, to keep an eye on them as Arjan had requested he do.
Junjie looked over at Abellio, then reached a hand out to pat him on the neck, "Once they get here I will tell them about what we saw and see what they think about it. It might be a good idea for us to be even more cautious from here on out." They already had dragons and other beasts to contend with, as well as pure bloods who didn't want the group about. Having yet another thing to worry about worried him a bit but he felt that as a whole the group should be alright, right?
