(( Junjie goes first! He will be using his Reflective Shield Spell first round so I don't think he has to roll anything. ))
Reflective Shield: END Cost 40, Junjie has 440 left over
Junjie was still on patrol looking for Mara, wanting to make sure to keep them far from the camp that he and his fellow hunters were helping to protect when he found himself face to face with a far different opponent. Not to mention one that seemed to somehow be even more aggressive then anything he'd fought in the past, an Oblvionite. Unlike those he'd met in the past like Eku and Kilian this one didn't seem at all interested in talking. If anything the guy looked as though he wanted nothing more then to bring Junjie's head back to Soudul with him.
Being that he really didn't want to cause a war between himself and the Oblvionites, he had far too much on his plate as it was, he cast a spell that he had used against him in the past, a reflective shield that he hoped would work as well for him as it had done against him in the past, "I don't want to fight you!" He called out to the one who was advancing on him, sword drawn, hoping that maybe he could ward off the battle. He doubted it though, the look on the other guy's face said it all, he wouldn't be able to talk his way out of this.

(( Merikh's Attack Roll ))
Hit: 92 - Hits Atk: 69 - DMG 10pt per ATK (500) + 2pt per INT (70) = 570, 75% of 570 = 427.5 rounded to 428, Merikh succeeds in knocking himself silly. Def: 70 - 75% (doesn't apply when Reflective Shield is in play)
*****
He didn't want to fight him? Of course he didn't! He was just some lowly, mixed blood weakling he thought to himself as he raised his sword. Looking his opponent over he couldn't help but to scowl. This was the worst sort of hybrid too, the sort that had no Oblvionite blood in him that might act as some sort of redeeming quality to him. No, he was just a mix of Dovaa and Orderite, the two things that he dislike the most in the world. It caused him to give is hissing sound between his teeth as he charged into battle despite the fact that Yolana tried to stop him for... some reason. A reason that would become clear to Merikh in a moment. As the Oblivionite brought his weapon down at the hybrid that didn't seem to even try to dodge out of the way hit sword suddenly hit... something. A glittering shield that seemed to shatter under the force of his blade. There was a moment of delight upon seeing the magic shield break... that was until he was sudden caught up in a maelstrom of magical energy that sent him flying backwards where he landed in the sand, barely conscious.
Instantly Yolana was racing over to his side, a look on concern on her face for the one that she was supposed to be looking after. He had done so well in battles against... well, everything, in the past. This one though, he had gotten himself in over his head against a strange opponent, one he should have studied first instead of just racing in head long like he did with all of his fights.
"We should get you back to..." Her world trailed off when she realized the hybrid was coming her way and instantly she was on her feet, daggers drawn, ready to fight the magic user off if he meant to finish Merikh off. This was her assigned job and if she had to kill some random hybrid to keep Merikh safe, so be it.

Glancing over at Arjan Junjie couldn't help but wince as he said, "Maybe I overdid it a little? That spell seems to be a rather dangerous one. Maybe I should be more careful how I use it?" He didn't want to go around using it constantly and causing his opponents to hurt themselves in such a manner... but then again he really didn't want to go around hurting others himself. It really was a bothersome problem. How to deal with such people without harming them, he felt as though it wasn't exactly something that was going to be possible. There were going to be those who refused to back down, forcing him to fight even when he didn't want to.
Arjan gave a snort, "Forget about him, Junjie, he wanted to hurt you. He got what was coming to him." The Kiandri said, giving the fallen Oblivionite a glare... before realizing that Jun was moving toward the guy, "Eh? Jun? Where are you going?" He asked, hurrying to follow after him, having a bad feeling about what was going on.
Junjie looked at the woman who was suddenly putting herself between Junjie and the fallen Oblivionite before he gave her a smile, "I mean him no harm, I said that in the beginning." He told the woman before he set to casting some spells, ones that glittered with green, Ysali energy. Much to the surprise of the woman and annoyance of Arjan, Junjie set about healing his fallen opponent.
"Damn it Jun! If you heal him he's just going to start in again! We are leaving!" Arjan snarled, grabbing hold of the back of Junjie's robes and set to dragging him away from the Oblvionites before they could prepare for round two which would start sooner then later courtesy of Jun's soft heart.

The spells did their work, healing Merikh's wounds, bringing him out of his dazed state... and he was filled with anger as he realized what was going on. His opponent, some filthy hybrid, had healed him?! Dragging himself to his feet he looked around a moment, seeking out his sword, "I will teach him to look down on me!" He spat out, making a move to grab up his weapon when Yolana stepped in the way, holding her arms out to the side, blocking him from getting his weapon.
"Eh? Damn it, Yoyo, move it! I need to catch that jerk before he gets away! I am not going to let him do that to me!" He didn't like this in the least bit, the fact that the guy he was ready and willing to kill had... had healed him! Not only that but he had used some strange power to defeat him in one blow. It was all just... grating. As though he needed such mercy from such a creature! It would seem as though retaliation was out of the question though, Yoyo wasn't going to let him pursue the hybrid, which was yet another thing that was adding to his growing anger.
"Fine, come on then. If you aren't going to let me fight with him then I am going to go and wipe out more Mara." He spat out, pushing passed her so that he could retrieve his weapon. Fine then, he'd just fight the Mara, get stronger by taking them out, then he'd see about hunting down the hybrid again even if it meant going behind Yolana's back to do so. He would have another go at that guy and next time it would go differently.
