Kimi meets Dory May 31, 2006 PM

(( Yeah sometimes I do feel like going *graaagh!* at everyone who says 'one day' lol...but most of the time its nice that people are cheering me on ^_^ ))


Dory stood in the meadow, facing away from the Village, looking out to the trees in the distance. She let out a little sigh of meloncholy that was unusual for her but she was lonely. Even her familiar, Squishy, hadnt been able to cheer her up. She knew why, the Soquili missed that fool stallion who had said he liked her. Squishy was rapidly becoming of the opinion that had been a cruel tease as the mare hadnt seen Swafi in a good while.
For now, Squishy had sloped off to see if she could find any early fruit, and Dory just watched the birds wheel and pitch across the sky.

Kimimela now with pretty accessories bounded her way across the meadow noticing a new soquili she had never seen before. Her orange orbs studdied the dark blue mare for a moment that trotted over to greet her. "Kimi I am hello to you. Name you be?" she chittered happily hoping the mare wouldn't think her strange for talking differently. Glory was out exploring this fine gorgeous day and Kimimela felt very much brave to talk to new faces she'd come across.

Dory glanced up from watching a ladybug that was balancing on a grass blade, ears twitching a little as she looked at the mare with the long, draping tail. She tilted her head, wiggling her ears a little at the greeting, panic flitting across her face. Had she forgotten how to understand words? The meaning was still there, but the order was odd. Maybe..maybe it wasnt her but Dory merely replied, nodding her head and flicking her stubbed tail a little.
'Hello, I'm Dory.'

Kimimela was overjoyed that this new mare... oh Dory is her name had returned her greeting. She smiled and tossed her head feeling the feather tickle her that hung from her ear in the colors of the leaves her homeland consisted of. "Name is Kimimela yes. From trees I come off far water." she noted shaking her head again to feel the feathers. The ones lying full around her font ankles felt funny as well but she didn't mind. "Nice name Dory you have. Coat very pretty blue you are." she noted on the deep blues and the yellow that streaked through Dory's coat.

'Kimimela? That's a pretty name..' Dory said, shifting her hooves a little to stand easier. She nodded her head in appreciation of the compliment to her coat and name, curiosity leading her to ask further questions.
'Trees and far water? Do you mean the ocean?' she asked. If this mare liked the ocean then maybe she would be a friend. The ocean was her favourite place, and loved to stand and watch the tide.

Kimi listened intently as her eyes grew wider. "Big Trees way up high with big water near. Water in lots far as Kimi could see yes. Blue so blue it is." she nodded looking quite happy she may have found a new friend that understood her. "Like the ocean you Dory yes? Coat like Ocean so blue near big trees." She danced in place wondering what the mare would say next. "Big trees you've seen then? Feathers like Kimi wears yes." she noted shaking her feathers that hung from her ears.

Dory listened intently, having to pay attention more then usual as Kimimela's words simplistic. She realised the mare wasnt speaking in a mixed up way, she just expressed herself with a smaller usage of words.
'Yes I am blue like the ocean,' her expression grew a little lighter as she talked to the mare.
'I don't know that I've seen the trees you speak of. I mean I've seen trees, but not high up trees. I mostly stay around the Village or near the ocean. I like to listen to the waves breaking, or collect shells.'

The mare gray as a lemur's coat swished her striped tail happily watching Dory. Though from different backgrounds they seemed to understand and like what the other had quoted on. "Big water Kimi likes. On Kimi's coat blows salty breeze. Vey nice Kimi llikes." she nodded once more flicking her tail. "Visit ocean here we should. Big blue we see together. Happy Kimi is you'd come along." she smiled quite happily. The thought of another ocean like the one she was raised near would remind her of her homeland. Though the ceders were high in this land nothing could compare to the leaves that grew on the old forest trees. Sometimes you couldn't even see the sky they were so densly placed. Made for a nice shelter durring the heavy rains.

(( Ergh..I really should concentrate on dinner, and then I have to go work on art stuff xp ...I'll rp longer with you another day *glomps Rein* heart ))

'I will go with you to the ocean some other day.' Dory said, kicking at the ground. She was still feeling heartsore, and the intial uplifted feeling at meeting the mare had soon dissipated, leaving her feeling once again out of sorts.
'I wouldnt be good company now. I believe I shall just head to the Village and see if there is any food on offer. It was nice to meet you...Kimimela.' Dory had only had to pause a moment to remember the mares name. It was probably because she had to work to remember the mares words that had lead her to keep the name as well in her sieve like memory.

Kimimela frowned but whinnied a goodbye to her new friend named Dory. "Yes Go to the ocean we see Dory. Big blue around us all. Bye Bye." she nodded her head as Dory headed off. Leaning her head downward she decided to graze feeling a bit more happier that her day wasn't as borring as she thought. She couldn't wait to tell Glory her big news.

Zaribe meets Rahu Sat Jun 10, 2006 PM

Rein_Carnation

As the clouds parted letting the sun drift back towards the lower horizon a stallion painted in plummage of reds, blues, and greens stood quiety. His ears swiveled front to back listening for something of interest. It had been since forever that he seen his sister, missing the silliness she lived for. Snorting he decided to eat the grass brushing his feet. Atleast it was something to do.

Rahu was out running to pass the time and help him think. After that one race with Khairi he had taken to running again, which was something he loved to do again. His hoofs pounded the soft earth as he ran through the open clearing and never noticed the other stallion. Snorting he was really going to where particular but was just running anyways.

Zaribe: Was caught up in his grazing that bringing his head upwards sharply caused his blades of grass to lightly dance towards the ground. Another stallion dark as night had passed him in a whirl which seriously caught the red winged's attention. Thinking boredom no more he took off after Rahu looking for some entertainment flapping his wings in a whoosh to gain speed and reach the air that washed about him.

Rahu heard the stallion start right after him, as he ran. Looking back and flashing a smirk to the other stallion, he picked up his pace more. This shall be interesting he thought to him self. He had only raced someone once and was never one to back down to a challenge. Especially since this stallion came right after him as he was running. Nose flaring, he was going to keeping going for a bit longer.

Zaribe: Flapped his wings forcefully but stayed close to the ground to trail the darker stallion. This was much better than eating grass he thought to himself. Flexing the plumage as it shined in the fading light he smirked leaning his head downward. Why not have the opportunity to fly and race at the same time. Heaven knows when he had a "considerable" amount of fun last. Tossing his head he gained more speed, a rainbow river trailing after him in silken strands.

Rahu snorted and from what he could hear over his own hoofs, was the other stallion flying and running at the same time. Pushing him self to keep going, he was at his limit because he had already been running for a while earlier, before he ever ran past the other stallion. Grumbling to himself, he slowed down after a bit in till he was a walk and stopped.

Zaribe: Blinked as the other had slowed up and stopped. What fun was that he frowned to himself. Lowering his speed he glided just short of the other stallion landing perfectly with a flick of his braided tail. Turning himself around he faced the other stallion, "Aww why did you stop? I was actually having fun there for a moment." he frowned as he swiveled his ears at the other.

Rahu snorted at the other stallion. ?I stopped because I was getting tired. I had already been running for a long while before I pasted by you.? Eyeing the other stallion for a moment, he found him to be a bit brightly colored. ?And besides I?m not one to be around for others amusement. So who are you anyways?? tossing his mane, this stallions color reminded him of a birds coloring rather than that of a stallion.

Zaribe: Felt the intimidation set in by a darkened rival but he was one to take things in stride. "Zaribe.. that's what I'm called. My sister and I came from the higher mountains to find a new area to check out. I get prone to finding things to do so don't mind me. I just consider grazing boring." he smirked swishing his braided tail back and forth. "So... what is there to do around here that is intersting then?" he queried with a toss of his rainbow mane as it cascaded over his withers and mane.

Rahu smirked thoughtfully. ?Hmm interesting and I do agree with grazing boring.? He then raised a brow at Zaride in amusment, since he did not bother to ask his anme. ?As to what there is to do interesting around here, I have yet to find anything interesting. That is unless you find chating with others or exploring interesting. But I find those things dull really, unless the other infront of me is interesting to me.?

Zaribe: Was relieved the dark one... what was his name anyway... was atleast talking to him. His kind was the flighty types always finding something to hold interest. Chatting wasn't a priority but seemed to be the option right now. "This area is different from the mountains.. well without that bothersome snow. Exploring can be a plus if there's shiny things to find." he chuckled to himself. Listening to the wind as it whistled a strange tune he queried without hesitation. "By the way I didn't get your name."

Rahu raised a brow at Zaribe as he mentioned shiny things as if he liked them. ?I never was one to go to the mountains. And shiny things well I never pay attentions to those things.? He flicked his tail as Zaribe asked his name. ?And my name is Rahu.? Thinking Zaribe was only mildly interesting, and Rahu was already losing interest in sticking around.

Zaribe: Started thinking that Mr. Grump was getting to be as bland as chewing grass that was way over grown. He kept that thought to himself and listened like the good stallion he was. "Hey another two where I've been seeking shelter have mentioned you before. The ones called Glory and Kimimela. That Kimi is an interesting one I'll say. Have to turn your thoughts inside out figuring out what she has to say." he amused himself talking about the lemur mare. "But you probally know what I'm talking about. Oh well I'm not going to seem like some birdbrain to someone I just met. So I'll let you be on your way as I'm boring the life out of you." he noted flexing his wings preparing his flight.

Rahu chuckled. ?I only meet Glory once, and have meet Kimi twice. I find Kimi rather amusing with the way she talks if you ask me. And yes I suppose I know what you mean.? He then shrugged at Zaribe. ?You don?t seem like one but you?re only mildly interesting. But then...? giving a malicious smirk, he started to think of something amusing he might do. ?I know im only mildly amusing when I choose to be calm. And unless you feel the need to leave, I find no reason I feel like going.?

Zaribe: Paused with a toss of his mane cascading over his shoulders. This "Rahu" was interesting to him though still a little bland. "Nah I really have nothing to do but graze which really isn't my routine unless I get hungry. I'm just bored as anything since we came here. The locals don't really say a word to me anyways. Maybe its better to avoid the mares." he chuckled to himself thinking there might not be a girl out there to remotely hold his attention. Not to mention none carried plummage as vibrant as his. "standing around isn't boring but it can make your feet ache after awhile. Its why i flex my wings often to get the energy moving."

Rahu snorted at Zaribe mentioning mares. ?I?m sure you can find quite a few locals who would talk if you wanted too. I found that there are plenty and I don?t even go searching for anyone to idly chat with.? He tossed his mane to get it out of his face. ?Mares are more trouble than there worth and are annoying. That?s why I tend to stay away from them but they keep finding me for some odd reason. As for standing around, it is quite boing to do for me atlest so shall we walk??

Zaribe: Nodded in agreement on the walking part. "Walking is perfect right now as my feet are aching. Never going to understand this ground under me. So much better to slice through the clouds with your hooves making strange shapes. Silly glory thinks she can do that like those crazy flutters." he noted initiating the walk. "As for mares Zikeria is the only one I've ever seen as brightly painted as I am. Guess that's because we're siblings." he stepped forward tossing his head once more. "So what makes those mares come after you? Heh lyrical question of course with no sarcasm."

Rahu shook his head with a chuckle. ? and I will never understand why you winged ones love the sky so much but then that?s cause I don?t have wings.? He then rasied a brow.? Really now, never would have thought that Glory would do that.? Walking beside Zaribe, he did like a conversation every once in a while but it was rare. ?And ofcourse that?s cause your siblings, but then there are plenty about with odd colorings. As to why mares run into me, I don?t know. I guess it because I wander about a lot.?

Zaribe: Walked smoothly with the bob of his head accompianied by the swish of his tail. He listened with open ears as for once he wasn't just being a ball of curiousity and energy. "Yeah that unicorn still thinks she can fly. I think she's a bit looney thinking that. Heard she crashed when she was younger. Had to hurt I would think." he nodded flexing his wings again. He watched rahu with a silly smile and noted that the way he held himself is what drew the mares to him. "I think its the quietness that draws them to you like rain from the sky. Mares tend to want to learn that curiousity and how they can harness it."

Zaribe: Watched the other go with a chuckle as he whinied a goodbye. "Interesting stallion.. made me think twice on that. oh well I better head in before that storm hits." Out stretching his wings he felt the wind brudh against him. The electric filled the sky as the horizon announced the first storm of the month. "Hmm we feathers aren't that exciting" Leaping to the dark sky littered with strikes of light he headed back to the forest clearing to avoid the rain.

Skye Starrfyre

All things considered, his mood was far better than it had been within the past couple of days... At least, than at had been since his last (first) encounter with a certain mare. He was running through the open feilds, bucking from time to time in a way that left his main and tail to flutter like a wildfire amongst the grasses, blazing against the dark midnight of his coat... And the open night sky.

The air was cool and calm. The sky was clear save for somewhere in the distance where clouds were forming. A storm was on its way. He knew it. He could feel it. The entire air prickled with electricity... Or maybe it was just the excitement tingling along his hide. Either way, this night had so much promise... If one could properly seize the moment.

Shariea

The young mare gave an excited whinny and rounded herself. Out of the trees she ran, weaving her lean body through them and out into the valley she ran. The storm seemed to n** at her heels as she ran, nickering with freedom and the thrill to be alive. Her short white tail streamed behind her as she ran, her thundering hooves the pre-curser to the lighting that would soon strike the ground. She feared it not. The storm would be a bad one yes, but she would watch in awe, the power of nature and the spirits around them.

A Midnight Black speck in the distance, outlined in fire caught her eye. That could be none other than Remy himself. She Reared herself up, hooves striking the sky. She Nickered to him and bound forward again. Kitara found it no surprise that he was out here during this time either and was glad to seem him again.

As the sky darkened the painted Tobiano stallion pranced about feeling the vibes of the storm. He lifted one fore than the other in a dance flicking his tail as it swayed back and forth. Life was good he thought just out there in the the midst of the beconing storm. That was his time to shine as he continued his waltz in the dark curtain surrounding him. Dripped of chocolate and white vanilla he moved smoothly in an unbroken gait.

His ears caught a whinny of someone close causing him to cease his steps to watch the chocolate mare race towards a stallion that glowed in the distance. Snorting he began a trot that increased into a full canter . Still his steps playful and elegant he neared toward them noticing his sister Kitara.

Skye Starrfyre

His ears tilted towards the sound of the whinny, nostrils flaring with a playful sort of snort as he reared back, battling the sky as he 'roared' in greeting. He remained standing on hindquarters alone for as long as he could, taking a step or two before dropping. Should he wait... Or should he run, bidding his petite beauty to take chase?

He chose the former, waiting so that he could greet her properly... See if all was well... Make sure that she hadn't...

That she hadn't run into that big, bright excuse for a stallion... That he hadn't been able to insult her to her face because, if he did... His eyes narrowed as, watching her, he caught sight of another in the distance. He stood his ground, ready to defend her should he so need to do so.

She was delighted to see that he had seen her and was waiting at the crest of the valley for her. She smiled as she trotted to his side, near breathless but she wouldnt dare show him that weakness. Her tail flicked behind her as she pranced before him. "Hello Remy. Some how I knew a night like this would pull you out..." she giggled and followed his stare off into the valley. there she saw the dancing steps of her brother and rolled her eyes. She nudged Remy and Smirked as the chocolate stallion approched them. "Takoda what are you doing out, Dancers should stay in doors during a storm." she said with a sneer. "Or is it because the beetles are in hiding tonight?" she asked with a tilt of her head. She giggled and pressed her nose to his to show that all was in jest and good spirits. Although she was a bit miffed he had followed her.

Takoda: Shook his head as he neared them still in stride. "Who says a dancer has to be cooped up in the midst of a storm brewing sister?" he chuckled now coming straight up to them. "Should say the same thing for you as well knowing those beetles will get you in your sleep one day."

He turned to the stallion she had approached noticing that his coat did indeed glow as he saw in the distance. "Hello. I'm Kitara's brother Takoda. " he nodded with a friendly smile. Curious as he was to know what relationship these two had he held back not being pompous or rude about it. He was the friendly type who loved getting to know others save for the dung beetles.

Skye Starrfyre

"Evenin', chere..." He reached out and, for a moment, she might think that he was about to touch her neck with the tip of his muzzle. He was about to... But he stopped the moment the other stallion approached them, glad that he had ceased his actions the moment the other two began speaking with one another.

It was only upon hearing 'Takoda' call Kitara his sister that his tension seemed to fade. "Brotha, eh? Mah pleasure." He tilted his head into a slight bow before looking the other stallion in the eye. "Remy LeBeau. D'ose who know me bettah, like da petite chere here, jus' call me Remy... Since you her family... Ah guess you can call me dat too." He had a broad smile on his face, trying to make a good impression. So far he'd done well with good impressions on stallion's... Save for that one...

Shariea

Kitara smiled as she looked between the stallions.. Takoda wasnt being suddenly over protective like she had feared...this was going well. She nudged Remy lightly with her muzzle and smiled at Takoda. "True enough Brother... " she said with a wry grin, her white tail flicking against her chocolate pelt. "Remy has become a good friend of mine Takoda...we raced together." she said with a giggle.

The wing began to pick up, blowing fallen leaves towards them, a few got stuck in her hair and she shook her mane. "Bleh... That storm's comin..."

The chocolate dripped stallion looked to the horizon and frowned. True that is weas wonderful to dance in the electricity the spirits made but rain.. there was another thing he could do without. He smiled genuinely at the stallion remembering his name well. "Aight then Remy. Call me Takoda and we're even." he winked with a friendly nod.

Sniffing the air the rain was closing in as the streaks of lighting trailed across the sky. "Hmm getting closer now.. thought I had more time." he sighed with a swish of his tail.

Kimi confides in Waya Sun Jun 11, 2006 PM

Rein_Carnation

The sun had set way past the mountains leaving the summer to arrange its welcome. Dozens of twinkiling lights faded in and out as the wind blew peacfully in the area. The birds had nested already as the frogs began their chorus nearest to the water's edge. The lone mare known as kimimela walked silently trying to think that being by herself was a treat right now. Each step she took was light and soft upon the grass as it brushed her hooves. The world was singing to her like her homeland, but yet she didn't rejoice feeling this happiness. Instead she silently walked down trodden hanging her head.

Shariea

The dark stallion stood majesticly against the midnight sky. Glittering stars outlineing his form and scattering out along the horrizon. He smiled softly as he looked at the twinkling jewels above, and the silver moonlight washed over his charcoal pelt. His long ebony tail flicked against the downy spring grass as he made his was down into the flat valley.

To his left he noticed the somber form of a female, the one with eyes who could burrow into your soul. At first she had scared him with those staring eyes, but she was plesant enough. A Stranger to this land like he was. "Greetings." he called out to her, trotting lightly to her side.

Though usually alert and on guard of approahing creatures Kimi didnot notice the gray stallion that had joined her. She nearly sidestepped with w whinny blinking in orbs of orange. She looked at him as usual yet no glimmer shined from her. No distict errie soulful gaze pierced back just a dull sad reflection. She spoke softly with a bit of a murmer, "Hello Waya."
No other words emerged but a miserable sigh that gurgled from her pretty gray throat.

The stallion tilted his head, he had hoped that Kimi would have been able to keep his mind from the thoughts that troubled him. But she, it seemed, was dealing with her own inner demons and problems. His brow furrowed and his blue eyes glinted in the darkness through his ebony braids. "Whats the matter Kimi?" he asked her, truely worried. She seemed like one who was normally full of life and to see her so somber and sullen was truely disconcerning.

Waya's ears flicked back lightly as he looked at her. He didnt suppose he had any real friends. Well.. unless you counted princess...but was she a friend or a herd leader? Both? He pushed that thought from his mind and focused on the sad mare before him. He gave her a little nudge, purely out of instinct...he wasnt good at comforting anyone, such was one of the downfalls of being alone all your life.

"You dont sound Stupid, Kimi. You told Glory to go because you care for her... even though you didnt want her to. Thats a good friend. " at lest he hoped that was a good friend...he really didnt have any experiance to speak of. "and you're not alone now are you? Im here...."

The crickets chirped under the pure dark canvas that lay outstretched above them. An occasional firefly blinked near them as another followed in suite. Kimi watched him listening carefully though her heart felt as if it would simply ooze out of her chest with nothing solid to hold it's place.

"Kimi feel sad when others laugh at her. Look silly Kimi she is. Can't talk like us... haha... so not funny." she grumbled stamping her hoof at Kohana's remarks. "Glory wants to go.. and Kimi wants her to be happy. Same as Celendria. Then why Kimi feel sad?" she looked at him with a deep sigh. "Kimi thank you for talking with her. Waya Kimi friend."

Waya looked quite dumbstruck, not knowing what to say really as she quietly ranted before him. He didnt have anything to go on, any wisdom to draw from.. so he sheepishly offered her a smile. "I dont care if your speak differnt. It makes you special, differnt than the soquili here... that doesnt make you strange or weird. Im differnt too..although I dont talk like you. Im not from here either...." he said.. and realised that in trying to comfort the mare he was doing quite a bit of talking, alot more than he normally would have. His tail once again flicked against the ground as he snorted softly. "You're a fine friend Kimi..."

The lemur mare looked at him once more as her eyes began to glow from his words. She smiled only meekly but her persona was lifting a bit from the depression that she earlier wallowed within. "Kimi is from the trees so tall. Kimi hides secrets from Glory and others. Horrible secret that Kimi cries about time.. all the time Kimi has felt alone. Glory loves the kimi and made her friend to Glory. Now Kimi two friends she has. But... Why Waya walk alone in the dark?" she queried nudging in return as he had done once. No moon shined this night as the blanket of darkness felt cold and silent save for the little fireflies blinking in and out.

The dark stallion managed a smile as the mare seemed to be perking up, the fire in those orange eyes returning. His own blue eyes gazed at the stars as she asked the most difficult question. Again he was reminded of his past, the things he wished to forget. Yet... he knew now she faced those same kinds of demons. "I like you, have secrets that haunt me." he said quietly. "My Past haunts my steps...as yours does you..." He said, looking back down at her.

The gray mare frowned once more wondering if he would listen. She'd always heard that releasing pent up emotions and bitter momeories always made your arua shine and released. She pawed the ground once more as the feathers bushed against her ankles.

"Kimi will not pry in Waya past... but Kimi wants trust to Waya to tell him why Kimi cries. Why Kimi is here not home with ..." she frowned and then turned away from him. The past always haunts one whom keeps it bottled up. Like the spirits of olde they always return with the rushing tides devouring all that would remain positive and secure.

Kimimela stared directly into him like fire lapping at his own crystal blues.
She closed her eyes wondering if her sorrow would fleet away and leave her once and for all. Perhaps she would find out. It was now or never she agreed with her heart that ached for those in the past.

"Big trees sway to a fro. Deep blue water all around. Laughter. Dancing. Happiness. Kimi loved... Kimi loved all around her. Dance to the moon... moon you shall dance with Kimi.. mother moon so bright.. Kimi dance." she sang happily letting her tale spin its own web. She was happy living in her past. So happy to once again dance and sing with those she called "friends"

Waya's dark ears flicked back as he raced to understand her broken speech. She lived in a forest of very tall trees, water all around...and she was happy. Thats what he'd gotten so far. He smirked softly, yes... times where always happy in the begining, before tragdity had a time to strike. He listened softly, nodding his head as she continued on. The smile and look of bliss on her face made him wish that such sarrow had not befallen her, and that she could have stayed there and contuied her timeless dance in the trees with her friends.

Kimi rose to her hindlegs in a mystical waltz making an odd call nothing like the locals had heard before. "Dance to the moon.. mother moon so bright. Kimi happy living in the trees so tall." she ccontinued till her feet slowly touched back against the ground and her face stretched into a saddened expression as tears fell in clear crystals pinging against the ground where she stood.

"Rains come in the trees so tall.. refreshing rain Kimi loves. At peace Kimi is with herd so big in trees so tall. But.." she paused herself closing her eyes to more tears. "Rain is not Kimi's friend... Rain hates Kimi falling from sky. Oh Rain you punish Kimi.. take everything Kimi loved away from her!"

Waya watched with growing sarrow as Kimi danced upon her hind legs, a etheral dance, timeless as the moon itself. He forced a small smile, for the sight was as beautiful as it was sarrowful. Her front hooves touched the ground again and she continued her story, a story of a great flood that took everything away... everyone she loved from the trees. "but surely Kimi, if you lived there is a chance that somewhere out there some of your friends still live...morning after their lost friend Kimi..." he added, hopefully. Trying to remain optomistic.

She continued her tale knowing it was never to be mentioned after this moment in time. Taking a deep breath she began once more. Her coat glistened as her ears caught glimpses of the cries that echoed in her ears.

"Storm so much.. Kimi climb forever. Rain so much it came after Kimi as she stood so high above it. All friends... All family gone to deep blue... swalloed like Kimi nightmare. alone Kimi cry for friends of striped tails. All gone never to return from deep blue. Kimi cry for friends. Kimi look for anyone. Nothing in trees so tall. Nothing near water so blue. Alone."

She pushed herself agaist his flank for warmth as she cried feeling the darkness lift as the memories flitted away into the night. Her ears laid low, almost drooping as she finally released what had made her so miserable.

Waya nuzzled against her, trying to comfort her as much as he could. "Im sorry." her murmered to her softly. The demons that haunted her past where as bad as his own, and as she trembled against him he wondered if he would ever be rid of them. Such sorrow, such lonelyness this mare had experianced, and she stood here now, broken down and weeping for the memories.

Her heart felt light yet her sorrow was in tact still it seemed. She stood there in a trembling fit remembering when her voice had wanted to tell Glory but couldn't. But yet she told Waya why she felt alone. Bringing her ears to attention she looked directly into those crystal blues pleading, "Please. No repeat Kimi nightmare. Glory not know ar anyone. Kimi wants Waya to keep secret. Waya is Kimi friend." she smiled as her tail regained swishing back and forth.

The stallion nudged against the small mare and nodded his head. "I wont whisper a word. Your secrets are your own, and you'll tell glory when you are ready, or when she is ready to listen. " He felt quite honored that she had told him quite freely about her past, her nightmares and sarrow.. and he had only told one other of his. Princess...she'd asked about his braids and trusting her he'd told her a little, should he now share his pain with this little one?

Kimi watched him with a smile and curiousty as her eyes gleamed so orange in the darkened night. "Waya special. Princess lucky to have waya as friend too." she giggled remembering the mare's claimage of the dark stallion. "Waya not should keep secrets like Kimi. Kimi feel better friends play in deep blue now." she nodded with a cute smile. "No moon tonight so dark." she noted looking at the canvas painted in faint twinkling stars.

The stallion smiled softly as the mare relaxed against him. She was growing more at ease, perhaps talking about ones past, the hurt and pain, did make the demons go away...or less powerful by any standards. He sighed and closed his eyes. "Yes..at lest your friends are happy." he smiled softly and nudged her. "Yes... Princess is...slightly Harsh..I dont think she, like me, has alot of friends. We are glad to have eachother...as I am glad to have you. Kimi is special as well.." he smiled at her, blue eyes glisting in the moonless night.

The lemur mare blushed though disregarded that feeling that crept up on her like a waiting dung beetle. Least that's what she heard from Takoda. The thought amused her about little beetles attacking you in your sleep. What a silly colt he was. "Harsh is strong word but lucky she is. Kimi wish Princess would respect Kimi. Kimi loves friends like Glory and Waya." she giggled nudging him. "Feel like a run with Kimi?"

The stallion nodded softly and chuckled. "well, maybe if Princess got to know you better she would like you. She just takes some getting used to....she liked to be treated well..like a princess." he smirked and shook his braids from his eyes. "after all this standing around I could do with a good run.."He chuckled, deep from within his chest like his baritone voice and struck out. His hoove beats thundering through the black night.

The gray mare smaller in size chased after him her striped tail flowing behind her so free and long. She whinnied her joy stretching her legs tailing after the large male. She wasn't the competitive type but she loved a good run to get her senses galloping again. Her call strange than the other mares echoed infront of her as it traveled past Waya. Gleaming orange orbs intently gazing into his being. Like two wild spirits they traveled across the lands they walked upon.

Syrynx

The chill of evening was a welcomechange, and the steady thrum of hoofbeats on sand was in and of itself metronomic as K'jatu cantered along the beach, hooves kicking up spray and sand. It was a rare pleasurefor the mare, and she whickered almost triumphantly, splashing in the shallow lapping of the full tide.

Eventually, she slowed,prancing, her heartbeat fluttering and she paused to catch her breath, looking around her keenly.She hadcome upon the beachentirely by accident,but in all her travelling, she had not found such an enjoyable expanse to runon. A stirring in themurky waters of her subconsciou sseemed to signal that she would stay here, for a while,for it pleased her to do so.

Rahu grumbled as he walked a bit at the beach. he was trying to take time to himself to think for a bit. looking about the beach he then saw a mare prancing about in the water of the ocean. "great just want i need."grumbling to himself, he started to walk past her and hoped to be unnoticed. but then that never worked out when ever that happened.

From the clouds that hung above the ocean carried the hint of something exciting. Below the winged male were two Soquili one male and one female. He noted the male as Rahu that he previously met beforehand. Swooping downward he couldn't escape a chance at a little competition hoping to reach them both in an arc of show. Zabribe always was one for being a showoff and tonight was no exception.

Rahu was surpised as he passed by the mare and she said nothing but only nodded her head. snorting he wondered what the mare was think as he kept on his way. tossing his mane, he would just ignore unless she said or did something. going back to his own thoughts, he kept walking but slower as he noticed Zaribe above.

As K'jatu passed him, and he ignored her, she seemedtogive a mental shrug. Perhaps he didn't like to run. It wasno loss. She kept her pace until a flashof bright color in the air startled her from her reverie and she skidded to a stop, siddling backwards, ears back in mild confusion.

She shook her mane out and followed the shape in the sky, standing rather dumbstruck,impromptu racing forgotten for the moment.

Zaribe swooped down closer noting Rahu being himself with a mare following after him. He chuckled landing near the dark stallion watching the mare. Flicking his braided tail he shook his long mane of primary plumage as he folded his feathery wings inward. "Greetings."

He was always alert and in the mood to meet others as his black eyes glistened with curiousity in the newcomer and seeing his friend... or atleast he hoped he still was.

Rahu blinked in surpise as the mare ran right past him then stoped. he figured it was because of Zaribe she had stopped. figuring Zaribe would come down to where both of them where we went over towards the mare with a snort. once Zaribe landed near him, he smirked. " seems you like to be a show off Zaribe."

Zaribe tossed his mane with a flick of rainbow in his tail as well. He smiled genuinely at rahu knowing he'd say something like that. "Hey now... be nice Rahu." he chorlted with a wink turning to look at the mare that was patterned in unique tatoos that melted into her form. With a gesture he nodded his head in a bow and smiled. "Hello I'm Zaribe".

He stretched his colorful wings again inhaling the air. Strangely how the ocean made your senses clear.

K'jatu watched with intrest as the vividly plumed one lit down from the skies as though he were a bird. She seemed to look at his wings with definate curiousity and a slight twinge of what might have been construed somewhere in her innermost workings as envy. To Fly would be a grand ammount of freedom.

She nodded once to the very red male, for she could not feign indifference, but she certainly wasn't going to act like some twittering dolt because she hadnt seen something before. She listened to the exchange of names and nodded, seeming almost stubbornly tight lipped.

Rahu still had a smirk as Zaribe told him to be nice. " only when i feel like it Zaribe." flicking his tail, he eyed the mare. " and as you most likey heard from Zaribe here im Rahu." snorting at salty smell at the beach, he never had been around here before. " and it seems she wants to be quiet."

She nodded at the dark one and answered simply, "I heard." It was a rolling rich sound. She swished her tail and let silence hangin the air like an awkward moment that had been constructed for just a moment like this. Almost as an after thought She added simply "K'jatu," as though the single word werean entire explanation.

Zaribe chuckled at the darker stallion being himself. But he did acknowledge the winged's presence. He turned to the mare watching her vividly through his shining dark eyes. "So I take it you're new here? I am sort of... well to the beach. May I ask you your name if I'm not being rude?" he queried wondering if she would answer him or not.

Ascoscoi galloped as fast as she could , the mare found herself stronger than ever in her new grown body. She arrived excitely at Takoda and his two-legged's teepee.
"Takoda!! look look!!" as she posed out her new dancing steps.
"I can balance myself!"

Takoda grazing nearest to the clearing raised his head at the visitor who had arrived. His ears swiveled and noted how beautiful she'd grown since they were foals. Trotting over with legs extended he danced up to her.

"So you did! Hey you've been practicing all that time since I taught you?" he queried with a bright grin. She had remembered him after all this time.

She nodded,tossing her mane back and forth.
"Yes,i'm so amazed with your dancing talent and since my brother always tease me for running slower than him,I wanna surprised him with my new dancing!" Ascoscoi was stunt at the full grown childhood friend as he came up to greet her.His black long mane and tail flows with the breeze with muscular body.
She blushed a little but she quickly turned away from being seen by the stallion.

Takoda grinned from ear to ear. Finally someone appreciated his "dancing" unlike a certain pain in the flank sister he was thinking of. He was amazed at her still remembering the unbalanced swing of her legs even when she was trying her hardest. He beamed of knowledge that he had turned an uncoordinated filly into a graceful waltzing mare.

"My sister makes a mockery of me when I dance. But I'm just like dad so she can keep it to herself. Hmm how have you been?" he noted in his change of complaining. If there was one thing you didn't do it was complain infront of a pretty face and sound like a whiny little colt.

Ascoscoi giggled at the stallion.
" But you are very lucky to be born in a talented family! I couldn't wait to learn more dancing steps from you!" she replied as she never ever grew up.

Takoda beamed hearing her say more dancing. He nearly laughed in a whimsical folly to finally have someone that repected what he loved to do. Pondering to himself he wouldn't let this get away if he could manage. Another grin sitting on that magnificent face.

"Well lets see here. There's many different things you can do with your feet, oh and the way you toss your head too." he mentioned with a gaze into her pretty eyes. "I can teach you a lot of things."

" Head tossing?! " Ears perking forward, the mare couldn't belived what she just heard.
" Like this?! " as Ascoscoi swung her head side to side and up and down,tossing her mane wild and crazily which ending up with a mess.

Takoda stood in a comfortable posistion watching her every movement with keen interest. As she faltered he headed in closer that his flank touched closely to hers.

"No don't get discouraged right away. Daning takes practice and the will to perform like a professional." he stated as he watched her commenting to himself how pretty she was beside him. A lady of perfect grace standing by his side.

"Now just follow with me like I showed you when we were little. Head up, shoulders high, and one, two, three...." he instructed lifting each of his legs high with a toss of his handsome head. He loved being the dance instructor more than his own father sometimes.

" Thanks Takoda! your such a nice stallion,not like my own brother who always teases whatever i did!" Ascoscoi stared at the stallion with her light sparkled emerald eyes. The mare lifted up her head like Takoda instructed her and followed every steps he moved.She never felt so confidence in herself but around Takoda,it was a different story. Tossing her mane and giggling, Ascoscoi was overwhelmed with the dancing lessons,she could be danicng all day and night long if she was allowed.

The stallion held his stance as she moved beside him. Though a kid at heart "dancing" was one thing that Takoda placed his passion in. Now someone else wanted to learn under him, mold in his movements, be by his side.

He paused letting the thoughts dribble about like floating masses in his head. Was he starting to really like Ascoscoi? Maybe it was the silly colt that pranced about and shied away from dung beetles. Now he was being silly...

Moving his feet now in his concentration he worked in a four beat latteral pattern as his feet fell in the rythem of right hind -- right front -- left hind -- left front. A flick of his tail, then the turn of his head. Repeat. He loved this, this time he could teach and be content.

"I love teaching a pretty mare something she finds intriging and fun. And Ascoscoi is my star learner right now." he beamed with a playful wink.

I wish we could get three baskets... you'd be the first one to my my godmother to one of Sais's babies *snugs*

Ascoscoi stared at the handsome stallion with her heart thumping like the thunder storm. She had never felt like this before,someone who listened and willing to teach her.

The mare gazed at the stallion's curly healthy mane and long tail and his handsome posture when he stomped his hooves on the ground.

Ascoscoi managed to hide away her look when Takoda turned to her side by inmitating his dancing move.

As the stallion moved fluently he thought he saw his dance partner blush for only a moment. A small chuckle rumbled in his muscular throat. Maybe it was true.

"That's it. Just think where your footfalls land and keep in rythem with me." he nodded watching her with his chocolate orb a deep smile coming to his handsome face. He thought to himself, "Just you wait Kitara. I'll show you I am grat as dad."

Ascoscoi tossed her red mane,nodding to the handsome stallion guiding beside her.

" You're such a wonderful and great dancer,Takoda! You really are!"
then she continued with a soft murmered,
" I just hope the time will just stop right here."

He moved smoothly as chocolate melts into the white nouget of caramel.
His head held so high and proud that his father would praise him so much. A warm feeling rushed over him as his black tail swayed back and forth with the ocassional flick.

"Time can and will stop if you desire it to be so Ascoscoi. To be a dancer is to be eternal. That's where I want to be standing here beside you in Eternity."

The words never reached his thinking of what he'd said as his concentration was strong in his lessons and performance. But deep down he knew the time would pass and she would have to go home eventually. This saddened him causing Takoda to focus more on his waltz.

Ascoscoi blushed.She lowered her head quickly so that she could hide the flashing red cheeks under her covering mane.She didn't thought that the stallion would reply her in that way.

Trying not to scared her friend away,
"I can stay if you want me too." the mare whispered.She knew that her family wouldn't mind at all since she was a full grown mare and she'll be able to take care of her own.

Ascoscoi stared at the dancing Takoda,
"Ah...what was i thinking?!! I'll scared him off!!" she swung her head side to side.
"silly me..what would he think of me? just friends or.."

Takoda continued his dancing till the twinge of tiredness nipped at his hocks furiously. His throat was parched and his legs did actually ache in a dull murmer off and on. His thoughts carried on realizing what he had said feeling a bit embarrassed himself. It was said that Sheridan was a smooth talker whom sweeped Ardia off her feet in a poetic waltz. Was it showing in himself?

The tobiano paint smiled at her slowing till he completely paused, "Feel like a drink? My throat is a bit parched from my dancing." he commented feeling foolish he was showing his weak side to her so openly.

No one was an immortal.

Ascoscoi paused,catching up the breath from the danicng.She could feel sweat all over her coat, luckily the breeze dried her up quickly.

The mare flicked her tail,
"sure, i'm quite thirsty too! " she smiled at the stallion.
"you lead!"

The stallion was quite proud of himself stepping high as he pranced in place smiling at her. With a flick of his head Takoda began his stride more in a walk so he paced along side her.

"I've never met anyone like you before Ascoscoi. You are truly special." he nickered heading down to the river that streaked though the land like a snake.

The water he could hear splashing alongside the riverbank. They were but a gallop away yet he purposely walked along slowly by her side. His chocolate eyes watching for any signs of trouble yet always on her.

Walking along the emerald grasses the now grown Nitika was trying to investigate just about anything she could. Still curious as a cat, the winged mare always wanted to know what made the world go round. Her tail long and silky caught the faint traces of the sun as it set, creating a purple and teal sheen as it moved along with her. Though not as striking as her sister she considered herself more special. Tossing her head she trotted now enjoying herself. No more parental escourts to dampen her day of exploring.

The dark stallion known as Vudeux lumbered along the tall grass. HIs face was set into a scrowl as he cast a glance at his wing, banaged from the fall he had taken, at lest now that damnable mare K'Jatu had left him alone. First the mare had saved his life, stayed with him to make sure he would be safe...then she had followed him to hell and back taunting him!

His tail lashed, Mares, he thought as he snorted. His wing was shore, the bone was mending which was good but there was still a dull ache if he should suddenly jar his body wrong or try to flex his muscles. How his body ached for the sky and to be rid of the quick spint and hide the human had used to bind his wing...

If it wasn't for the deep blue mare's curiousity she probally would of taken to the skies and been far away from the encounter she'd likely meet as she trotted over the hill facing directly toward Vu. Tilting her head she took notice to this deep stalloion carrying chains about him, then the bandage that wrappe d snuggly about his wing. He seemed in a fit of temper but being the inquisitive one Nitika approached with a smile. It was possible that yes he'd tell her to go the hell away, but he might also return her greeting. So letting the winds take chance she spoke in her cheery self hoping he was on the latter decision, "Hello there." she said with a flick of her tail watching him.

Vu's pale eyes looked up at the mare and he lightly gave a grunt. Just what he needed right now, another mare to invade his space and pester him. For a moment he considered spinning right around and going back the way he had came...but alas, K'Jatu was somewhere in those woods...he'd take his chances with this one.

She seemed bubbly and in fine spirits...that alone irritated him. His tail flicked and he slowly nodded his head. "hello." he said, his tenor voice trailing over the winds, baring with it a cold undertone.

Rein_Carnation

Her ears swiveled capturing any hostility that this one may hold toward her. All Nitika needed on her grown day was to come home to her mother injured or likewise not of this world. She blinked studying him, still facinated in the chains that he possessed clinging to him like he was born with them. "Sorry to intrude but you're the only Soquili I've met this day. And its kind of lonely out here by yourself", she notioned feeling a shiver from the night air breathing upon her exposed neck and hind quarters. "I'm Nitika. May I ask you your name? Ah that is if you'd want to tell me." she ended her little welcome speech with a bit of uncertainy.

Shariea

Vudeux laid his ears back for amoment, his eyes narrowing every so slightly until they where but bare slits staring out at her. Finally he snorted and opened his eyes fully. "Im Vudeux." he said, simple and to the point. He didnt have time, nor the social skills to be a fine host or gaurdian to her in the night...still...she seemed so differnt than that damnable mare. Then... K'jatu had been nice in the begining too...

Would this mare talk his ear off or taunt him...he didnt think she would taunt...she was...innocently nice, and sugar sweet. At lest that was the impression he had gotten, whether or not that illusion was true or not....

His tail flicked lightly, he was gruff yes, but he bore this mare no ill will... It wasnt right of him to blame every mare for tha fault of what one had done. No...he would give this one a chance...and should it happen again...THEN he would damn them all.

Rein_Carnation

She felt the apprehension his his voice, the way he poised himself sent her shivers. But she was a big girl now, and wouldn't you know bigger than that annoying Cheveyo. So there was a case in point as to how she'd grown.

"Nice to meet you Vudeux. I'm quite new to this adult thing so I apoligize if I ramble or seem annoying." she nodded flicking her long tail back and forth.

She wondered deeply if she should ask about his wing. It looked very well taken care of but on the other note was it broken? To not be able to fly in a winged's eyes was like being able to not run anywhere for those whom had nothing but spirit and freedom. She took a few swallows of breath terribly afraid he'd chew her up like a branch foals defaced in moments of play.

"What happened to your wing? Did someone hurt you?" she queried with a timidness consisting of a child's curiousity looking at him with large eyes in wonderment.

Shariea

Vudeux's eye twiched lightly as she asked the question, The only question...about his wing. He stared at her for a long moment...why should he tell her of his own folly, how he had to rely on the help of a two legger or he would have bled out on the sands. He snorted at himself, at the memory.

"It was an acsident. I fell into a wash in the sand and attempted to use my wing as a break....as you can see I failed."

His tail flicked against the grass as the moon made its way into the sky. The broch in the night's cloak studded with millions of glittering diamonds. His eyes shifted to the stars, and a very very small smile crossed his face. He wanted to leep into the air and touch them... he moved his wings and winced in pain.

Rein_Carnation

It was strange how at that very moment the mare could feel his sadness. Nitika from little on up loved to fly from that first moment her mother granted her passage to the skies. For a winged to be imobilized from flying was like instant torture, which indeed made her frown for him. Once in her youthful days she too had landed off course and tumbled on her right wing causing a brief swelling. Not enough to cause worry, but just enough to keep her from what she loved the most.

"Aww you didn't fail at it." she nodded with a smile, "I took a tumble as a foal and couldn't fly for a bit. Nothing broken but I knew what it was like not to be able to fly." she sighed lowering her wings so the moonlight danced on the sparkling blues that mimiced in the white.

Shariea

Vudeux looked at the mare and shook his head lightly, though he remained silent. She may know what it was like to be denyed the sky, but she didnt share his shame. He had been shamed to need the help of the mare, and to need the help of a two legger to mend him. He snorted and turned his eyes away from her, to the sky.

Her words where hardly comforting, but he did note that she was trying. So far she wasnt taunting him....so far.

Rein_Carnation

She bit her lip trying to think, noting he was a tad anti-social which was alright. Her dad she heard could be the same if he wanted to be. Perhaps it was the flutter bloodline in her that kept her there. He was quite quiet making the situation akward and a little nervewracking.

Digging her hoof in the dirt she thought a little, "So where do you come from? My mother said she came from a far off land. She's smaller than me now with wings like my brother Cheveyo has. Tansy has wings like me".

She paused realizing how much she had chattered and hung her head.

Glory meets Taroji June 26, 2006

Hime

A young stallion with cat-like steps moved over the grass and in steps from his home he couldn't stay there all the time then nothing strange or fun would happen. Sure it was nice to have his human friend over there but it was nice streching his legs to and feeling the soft and wet grass under his hoves..

The stallion was very cracious so from a distance it could be hard to tell if it was a male or a female walking because off his light steps. The male looked up at the sun..it was a nice weather today just a few clouds but still very nice..

Rein_Carnation

Pounding the ground the adult unicorn moved sleekly across the meadow she ran within. The day beconed her to fly though deep down inside she knew it was never true. Her head held high she imagined it anyway like her youth caused her to do many times.

Legs stretching outward, head alert, tail flowing in the purple silken waves as the air brushed them. She was a free creature able to just let go and release her imaginary wings.

Though time fleeted by she felt herself slowing down bored as anything. White among the growing emerald grasses she looked very mystcal and content.

Hime

The brown colored stallion suddenly stopped, he raised his head and picked up an unfamiliar scent. What was that? it wasn't his imagination but it was something diffrent with it. He felt it was another soquili but something was diffrent with the scent he picked up..

He continued to walk with faster steps this time he always become so curious when there was something he didn't know or was unsure off all other times he was just lazy and could rest for hours but he liked that too..

After a time off walking he could sense that the scent was comming closer but he still couldn't tell what that special was..but he was gonna find that out!

Rein_Carnation

White as satin she stood there finally sighing in wonderment of what she could do to quell her boredom. A flick of purple satin back and forth along with a shake of her delicate profile. Hearing someone approach she paused gazing into the distance. It appeared to be a Soquili of sorts covered in brown markings. He was quite a bit off but she could tell it was a stallion. Smiling she began walking as the sun glinted on her pure spiral that grew from her forehead. The shooting star on her rump glistening as the light dazzled in glitter like texture.

"Hmm maybe I won't be bored after all", she commented with a smile as she began walking a little faster.

Hime

The stallion made a little jump over a few stones his body moved almost like a cat maybe that wasn't normal for some meeting him but for him it was. He stopped and tried to see what he was approching and there! he tought he spotted something white and...and purple?

" Oh would could that be? "

He curiously moved closer with a bright smile and waving his braided tail..

Rein_Carnation

She moved swiftly but with enough reaction time to notice him now with swirls of patterning like a large cat of somekind. She blew outward a greeting soft yet high with a bow of her head as the spiral dipped along with her.

"Hello there. I'm Glory of the fallen star." she announced as her two front hooves came to attention straight together.

She watched him with a large smile feeling giddy that his expressions spoke to her he'd never seen a unicorn before.

Hime

The stallion noticed the white and purple moving soquili..it was a pretty mare with white and purple colors but...but...Oh my god she had a horn, she was a unicorn he hd never seen one off those before because off they where more rare he tought. But it was true they where special then other soqili's..

" Ohh...oh hallo... " he paused for a bit he couldn't help to stare at her for a bit then he decided that was just rude..

" I am Taroji..nice to meet you "

He gave her a smile and took a few steps closer to her waving his tail happily he loved meeting new creatures but this was the first time he ever met a uncicorn..

" I am sorry if i stare at you but i never seen a unicorn before.. "

Standing perfectly beautiful Glory couldn't help but smile with a silent giggle to heself. She remarked quite strong of knowing another's first reaction to seeing the mythical unicorn.

Shaking her head she chuckled softly, "Its alright. Celendria was quite right when she said I was a special basket. Even I was curious as to why I was born with a horn." she said proudly with a subtle flick to her purple satin tail.

She watched him with his amzement feeling quite giddy that unicorns brought that sort of attention. With a nod she remembered his name consectively as she did all others she'd come across.

"Nice to meet you too Taroji." she returned his greeting thoughtfully, "What brings you out here?"

Hime

Taroji blinked a few times before he could go back to his normal self it was still rude to stare like that but she really looked amasing maybe unicorns had a special karisma? sure Bhavesh had told him that he himself looke rather special with his walking style just like a style and weird markings..

" Oh good then! but i like your horn it's cute "

She was actually only a horse with a horn but Taroji still liked it, it made her look more sweet.

" Oh well i picked up a scent and i guess it was yours heh...but i was just taking a walk streching my legs " he smiled and asked her the same " So what are you doing around here? "

Rein_Carnation

she watched him with a thoughful smile quite amused that he was overjoyed in conversing with her. They say unicorns are mythical as in granting wishes. Even legends told of purifying poisons and luring innocent maidens to simply touch the grace and magick of a creature rarely seen. But to Glory she was a Soquili with a horn. An itchy one at times that was sensitive to things she did.

"Hee hee I don't mind. I think its rather nifty when the light bounces off of it." she motioned as flecks of light bounced off the silver tip.

She bobbed her head about as if hearing a silent melody only she could pick up on. Pausing she smiled at his question, "Oh me? Well I love exploring new areas and meeting other soquili. Its become a routine of mine."

Hime

Taroji didn't know so much about unicorns at all more then that they where special and maybe magical but he didn't know because he never met one until now. He decided to love much closer to Glory so he could take a close look at the horn and he did with bouncing into it with his nose..

" Oh i..i am sorry i didn't meen to do it like that i just wanted to take a closer look "

He smiled nervosly he hoped he hadn't scare her or made her upset or anything because he didn't know her.

He looked a little amased when the tip off the horn glow a little with made him come closer again he wasn't aware off it he was just so concentrated in the horn.

" Ahh yes me too and that is great! seeing and meeting new creatures "

Rein_Carnation

She couldn't help but sqeak in a related snort at his surprise of getting closer to investigate her horn. Only a moment she let it go with a silly giggle knowing his curiousity had lead him to do what his instincts told him.

"Nah its fine really. You did startle me a tad but I don't mind. Been with me all my life so Its no big deal to me." she winked with a flick of her ears.

Glory was quite chipper to meet someone fascinated in her little birthmark as it spiraled outward gleaming like a diamond.

Hime

He gave her a childish smile and perked back his ears because he was a little ashamed over bouncing into her like that and took a step back. He smiled bigger when he hear her giggle so it was good she wasn't made at him..

" Ah good i just think it is really pretty but a little weird how come that some soquilis gets growing horns on there forheads? doesn't it hurt when it starts to grow? "

He couldn't help being so curious but he was actually not carring so much that she was a unicorn he just wanted to know how it felt having a groving horn even if that was what made her into a unicorn but Taroji was a little stupid sometimes when i was about things like that..

" So you have a home nearby? "

Rein_Carnation

She listened intently as her ears flicked back and forth tenitively. He was trying to hide his embarrasment from her which clearly painted itself like a picture glazing over one thoughsand words. She giggled to herself knowing it was an accident though he was reprimanding himself quietly for acting with a sad silly reason.

"Hurt? Nah it didn't hurt at all. But I'll tell you one thing about it. Itchy. It drives me nuts somedays when the weather changes posistion. Constantly making me twitch from the tickling it creates." she said with a shake of her fine delicate head.

As for his other question she had to stop and ponder just how far she was traveling from the forest clearing. Thoughts raced to Kimi's lonliness and her mother's own wanderings.

"Around here? No its a far gallop from where I usually stayed with the small herd I grew up in. I decided on a little exploring and here I am." she nodded flicking her purple satin tail back and forth.

Hime

Taroji looked at the sky and trees for a while so his face would turn normal it was a little embarrasing bumping into her but like she said it was only a little mistake.

" Well you are a small mare i tought i maybe hurt you "

he said with a carring voice the last thing he wanted to do on this earth was to hurt a female his mother had tought him that. Females always deserved respect. He looked at her horn maybe she could need help with scratching it sometimes..

" Umm don't you have someone to help you scratch? "

Taroji looked back in his own direction he was not far from his home but it would probably take an hour or two to walk here. Taroji nodded and smiled.

Glory looked at the clouds as they slowly made way across the sky one by one. She pondered things at the moment feeling a little akward. A twinge slid up her spive traveling straight for her spiral which made her flinch immediately lowering her head to the ground scratching like mad. when satisfied she looked up blinking straight at him.

"Oh sorry force of habit I guess. Its sensitive at times though worse now then when I was a foal." she mused feeling a bit silly reacting to routine in front of the larger cat colored toned male.

She blinked at his query wondering just what he meant. "Someone to scratch for me? Hmm never really needed anyone before I suppose. Just natural to scratch when it itches." she giggled still feeling a bit silly in his presence scratching her horn like a mad hornet.

Hime

Taroji just stood there and watched the mare instead he was more amased by her then the clouds even if the clouds was pretty. The he raised an eyebrown and looked at Glory while he started to scratch her horn, he tried concentrate not to laugh because it looked rather funny.

" Well it is probably growing but it should itch more when you are a foal "

He tought it was a little strange maybe the horn had a second growing period?

" Umm yes like another soquili or a human maybe? there hands are good for scratching~~ "

He wanted to help her out but he didn't know how to scratch her horn..

" Umm you want me to help you? "

Rein_Carnation

She blinked almost cross eyed it seemed wondering just how he could would be able to help her scratch. It seemed a bit odd but gestures were few and far between some days.

"Well umm I'm not really sure. How does one scratch another's horn?" she queried looking all the more while quizical trying to figure out why it was such a burdon lately.

She pondered to herself a moment then looked back at him.

Taorji tilted his head to the side and looked at Glory sure you could help someone scratch sure he was a soquili too but he could help her scratch in someway..

" Well i can try pretty lady if you don't like it then let me know "

He smiled and wagged his tail happily and bent her nose down to her horn and touched her horn with her nose somewhat hard but not to hard so it would hurt just so the touch would help the itch..he actually liked helping others and he hoped she would like it even if it was a little..

His nose was very soft and he studied her eyes while he tried to scratch her why did always the girls have such pretty eyes?

Rein_Carnation

She looked still a little oblivious as to what he was going to do. Her tail flicked back and forth as she lowered her head for him. Someone other than yourself to scratch... why not?

To the white unicorn with a river of purple silken mane and tail she was quite enjoying the attention. Though when he attempted to scrath she started to giggle as the velvety muzzle tickled her sensitive horn.

She held it in very well being polite but the velvety muzzle was getting more and more ticklish as he continued.

Hime

He continued scratching for a little while then he stopped and looked at Glory, was it really ok she didn't look that good..

" Oh is something wrong? "

Maybe her horn was just very sensitive and for others touching it too. He tilted his head to the side and waited for her answer..

" Umm so is it really that special being a unicorn? "

He was curious if her life was much more diffrent then his, if others treated her diffrently just because she was a horned soquili he was almost sure they did why wouldn't they treat them special they where just magnificat creatures even if he had got comments for his special fur but that wasn't the same has having a horn.

Rein_Carnation

"Hmm? Yep I'm fine" she mused with a bright smile, "Its just really sensitive and tickles". The snow white unicorn watched him thoughtfully for he did try to help in that horrible scratching episode. Evil thing that lie attached to her head some days.

Perking her ears to his question she shook her delicate head.

"Well everyone stopped and always looked at me strangely. So I guess its different. My half brother Kohana always teases me about it. Hee Hee I think he's jealous" she said with a determined look.

"To me its just there, it itches, and well everyone is facinated by it. I've heard lately that winged unicorns have been showing up. Just imagine a unicorn that can fly."

Hime

" Good! "he tried to understand that something like that would really be sensitive like when small annoying rocks got stucked between his hoves that was just a real pain.

" Um sorry for acting so silly about your horn i guess everyone does that the first time "

He smiled and listend to her answer to his question before, oh that really can't be much fun at all he knew how that felt because off his strange fur but mostley it was because they tought he was beautiful and not strange.

" No one should be teased over being diffrent but i know the feeling my fur isn't really that normal so i know how those starring eyes feels "

He said calmly haveing a horn might not be so amasing at all it was just an extra part off another kind off a soquili...a unicorn.

" Oh maybe the purple basket my human friend found will hatch to one off them...it's rather strange that basket i wounder what the creature inside will look "

He didn't understand why he tought off that basket when she mentioned winged unicorn but that wouldn't be surprising if they turned up a little here and there.

Rein_Carnation

She smiled perking her ears to the word "basket". She always knew from little on up that her mother whom did find her by the way of the falling star.

"A purple basket? Hmm mine was white from what I remember Celly telling me with a shooting star to be exact." she said with a tall stance proudly flicking her purple silky tail back and forth.

Nudging him playfully with her muzzle she giggled, "Nah don't feel strange because you're different. Kimimela looks like a funny type of animal and she's just as normal as you and I."

Swaying back and forth she acted as if a song were playing deep within her mind. The kind of tune that flows in life and keeps going with just a touch of mystery and happiness to tie everything together.

Hime

" Yes basket...oh i can't remember comming from one my human friend find me like this "

So babies comes from baskets? that sounds really weird and he couldn't remember comming from one that just made him feel more weird and confused. He shock his head and looked at Glory..

" Ohh pretty~~ but that doesn't surprise me it was baby you inside "

He smiled and playfully puffed her side with his nose a little..

" Oh so there are more funny colored creatures like me "

He laughed and started to look at Glory's swinging tail she seemed so calm she was probably older then him too or maybe it was her nature. He knew he wasn't an old stallion at all he was more a newly become adult.

Rein_Carnation

She pondered thoughtfully with a nod, "Yeah lots of Soquili are all over with interesting coats that I've ever seen. Kimi, Saissis, and Zaribe are from other lands though."

She stopped for a moment and contemplated deeply to herself. Just how did Kimie get here with no wings like the other two. Now there was something that was purely mindboggling.

"So you don't remember hearing about your basket? Come to think of it baskets smell like humans so how is that possible?" she queried with a tilt of her head looking downright confused.

Hime

Taroji could just remember meeting more normal colored ones no white and purple like Glory that made her special but not because off her coat she was so sweet and nice too..

" Heh well i have not met any other soquili's with purple colors like yours..most natrual colored ones "

Taroji didn't know how he was find or if any human had been near his basket maybe he just forgot. His human friend Bhavesh had started to care for him after he was an adult but his memory before that was blank...he felt he got some light headace and his facial expression changed..

" No i can't even remember being a child actually...my head hurts really bad when i try to think back to the past but it's just blank "

He looked a little sad he tried to remember but something was kind off blocking that memory.

Rein_Carnation

She frowned noticing his expression change as lucrative as water itself.

"You don't have to dwell on it. Just something I pondered. Hee hee I do that alot. So is there alot in your herd now?" she mused asking simple conversation.

"Lets see there is 9 I think in the one where Celly lives. All different kinds too." she thought with a tossof her head letting the purple mane lie more even upon her white softened neck.

She noticed he still had that sad look which made her frown again. "Lets go for a walk that way you don't have to be sad. kay?" she asked with a butt of her nose playfully in his shoulder.

Hime

He couldn't help to think about it but he tried to share up when she told him not dwell on it maybe that was ok..maybe he would find out someday?

" Ah well just a lot off questions hit me...there is so many i want an answer at sorry for acting a little boring "

He blinked...9? 9 other colored like him? that sounded so cool but he hadn't met any off them at all maybe he had just missed them but the forest was very deep and big.

" Hai! a walk sounds good my lady you lead the way "

He gave her a warm smile and looked happier over the little nice puff on the shulder from her nose that felt very nice he really needed that.

Her words trilled about in her head thinking of what the rest of the herd was doing now. Kimimela was so alone without Glory being there and now it seemed the snow white star unicorn had been gone for weeks out on her own. What of her mother's feelings and reactions to things as she headed off to see her mate? So many questiuons swirled and quelled as fast as they submerged from her crowded mind.

No sad feelings when I'm here. Its not healthy to feel sad about things." she chimed flicking her tail as she began heading into her walk. Her head bobbed along as her eyes watched him with sensitivity. Though for a moment something pondered deep within why she had traved off on her own like she did. What was it she wondered?

Hime

He looked at her from time to time what was she thinking? she looked a little serious maybe she had a lot on her mind too? she was still a little mysterious to him but all the girls where. He wiggeld his tail from side to side while walking next to Glory.

" So anything special you are thinking off? you look like you are thinking "

He asked with a sweet voice because he didn't wanna be rude but was she always that calm? he felt to lighten up the tention after a while and playfully bumped into her side.

" That face doesn't suit you..smile ok~~ "

Rein_Carnation

Realizing she was thinking way too hard the unicorn of the falling star blinked with a goofy smile as it covered her muzzle. Being away from home was something new to her entirely.

"Hmm? Oh just thinking of everyone at home. Wondering what Kimi is up to since she was always by my side since that storm when she arrived.
And now she's all alone in our herd."

She looked at him and continued to smile.

"I'm sorry if I worried you. I mean I tend to drift in thought about things now and then. Must be the reason from falling to the ground as a star in the form of a basket." she chuckled with a laugh nodding her head up and down.

Hime

She was very mysterious indeed maybe all these unicorns was like this or maybe it was just Glory thinking to much. Taroji was not in a hurry of going back to his home the others would be just fine..

" Ahh do you miss them? oh well of course you do that was a stupid questions "

He blinked when she looked at him for a longer time it was hard to understand what she was thinking oh well no worries she wasn't sick or something.

" Heh it's ok and it would have been really cool if you came from a the sky fallen like a star...i probably come from around here "

She smiled with the hint of light blue that played over her pretty features.
He was interesting yet something seemed off with him which puzzled her.

"Yeah of course I miss them. But its wierd I still have no clue why I left the herd to go wandering. Must be old age getting to me." she nickered with a sweet yet heartful laugh. Flicking her tail back and forth she saw something glint bin the black canvas above her. Pricking her ears forward she watched it race toward the ground far below. Quickly her smile became genuine as she turned to him.

Rein_Carnation

The sun set further behind the horizon letting the shadows creep about over things in its path. The moon was round as a large orb glowing radiantly on everything that it washed over. In the mist that rose from the darkened grass walked a lone female adorned with a shining white horn. Her mane and tail contrasting in a river of purples and blue. She walked smoothly feeling the ground sink around her sparkly hooves. The land seemed to have a song as she continued her walk feeling the spirits around her.

Stopping to gaze around she caught a scent of someone familiar. Reminicence of the night with a certain stallion reminded her who she was heading to see. Though this was unlike her as she kept her pace toward the human's teepee. Only once she had saw this grand creature and wondered if he still remembered her as well.

Mintaka

Kahaina was on one side fo the teepee, nipping a few pieces of grass, while the ladies were on the other, obviously up to no good with the occasional giggle wafting over. As he lowered his head he sensed something, and lifted up, to scan. It was then in the moonlight he saw her, and nodded slightly.

A gleam of light form the horn, the soft white coat, and hair the color of the twilight. Yes, he remembered that from soemwhere before. He walked slowly, putting distance from the teepee and the other two to greet her. He was surprised one had come, as no one ever did, but it was welcomed. It was better then listenign to those tow giggle all night.

"ah, Glory.... a pleasure to see you again." He bowed his head slightly, in polite repsect to the lady. "I rarely see any Soquili, particularly visitors I know here."

Glory watched him with cyan orbs of pure rememberance. He had inspired her since his first entrance. Who couldn't be fond of a dashing stallion contrasting the golden lights and the purple contrast. Purely stunning and full of wonders his coat could speak for itself.

"Greetings Kahaina. I decided to venture out on my own for a bit. Though I feel saddened letting Kimi to be on her own." she frowned for a moment.

She smiled looking around the area noticing two females in conversation with an occassional giggle. One was brightly colored like a certain winged whom had started hanging around her own niche.

"How have you been? I mean its been awhile since you traveled into the area where we explored and grazed. Not many come to visit my home either..." she paused with a giggle, "they just end up staying there instead".

"How have you been? I mean its been awhile since you traveled into the area where we explored and grazed. Not many come to visit my home either..." she paused with a giggle, "they just end up staying there instead".

Mintaka

He nodded slightly, glancing back to the two a moment. "I have been somewhat busy awhile... the green one, called Minty.... she needed some assurances as she had a former human who was cruel to her. But she gets along well now. It took some adjusting for her though to be used to it, and I was showing her around a bit."

He glanced to the sky then a moment, trailing the stars whcih glittered like the unicorn's eyes. "The other is a newer arrival, Zikeria. She lost her brother apaprently along the way... she's a tricky little one but I got ehr somewhat settled, and she's taken to Minty, so I've finally had some peace."

He drew a hoof across the ground ed, shfting his glance fo her. "Elsewise I may have gone exploring, rather then settlling in those I live with, but it is better then letting either be alone and fend for themselves sometimes. And you? Have you been well since our last meeting?" he titled his head slightly, looking her over to be sure she was in good health and free of problems, or tanlged branches in the mane. One as her should not suffer such, as ladies are to be honored and respected, and not treated as the ground below the hoof. Too many other stallions acted as they should onw the lady, when it wasn't such true. They were equals after all, at best. The ladies, sometimes more. After all, if one were a herd member, they would know.

Rein_Carnation

Glory listened intently as she hung onto each of his words. His voice was reassuring and wonderfully balanced. She noted the mare's names stopping dead center on the red one's namesake remembering the red male's banter of his sister Zikeria.

"Zikeria? Ooh that means that extravegant male living near us is her brother Zaribe." she nodded with a flick of her satin purple tail.

She thought on her adventures meeting the other soquili. Some stood out while others faded into murmers and distant memories. Kimi though had been a great addition in that treasured set she remembered. From the storm that rang through the land the ringtail had seemingly arrived like a ghost in the night. So frightened as her eyes shimmered in that errie orange gaze. Her words triggered in strange sounds and sentences but understandable.

"I've been hanging out with my mother's herd though I wanted to learn more about the world on my own. I befriended a mare from another land named Kimimela as well. she's very friendly but so backwards to our ways here in routine and speech."

Mintaka

"Ah..." He glanced at the two chattering females hiding by the teepee and nodded. "Yes, that sounds about right. She's been a bit worried but... well, she's been getting used to this place somewhat. She's a bit odd at times, but nice none-the-less. I'm sure hearing her brother is safe will assure her of things."

He shook his head slightly then to clear his thoughts, and looked at her. "I've been here with thw two ladies to get them adjusted, mostly. Now that they seem to be getting along and staying out of large amounts of mischief, I feel safe leaving them. I feared Minty being alone awhile, as she was quite skittish awhile about the night noises, even with her lion friend." He seemed slightly bemused. "I suppose my having been raised here has some effect. It is different for others, who do not come from around the area so much."

The sparkle of light off the water caught his atention, and he turned slightly. "If you wish, we can tread a bit further away, then linger here so close to the teepee if it bothers you. I could use the time away from here now. Tis a very quiet night indeed, and peaceful."

Rein_Carnation

The night reflected Glory's interest in her company she sought. The sparkling star along with the gallant gaze of the glowing moon. She swished her tail back and forth contently without even one thought on trying to spread her wings and fly into the night. Kahaina was an Earth dweller as she so it was correct not to try what another could not achieve. Besides a sore rump wasn't worth the tears and frustration it gave to liveout a dream either.

"I think giving a bit of space between your roomates would be considerate." she smiled warmly nodding her spiral at him as it shimmered a pure silver in the reflection of the heavenly light from above.

"I'll be sure and let Zaribe know his sister is here when I return eventually. For now I think a walk would do me some good." she noted looking at the alternating fireflies as they danced around them.

Mintaka

He nodded slightly, stilling a moment as a firefly landed on his nose to flicker a moment before taking wing once more. He led the way at a slow pace, heading away from the teepee on a route he knew well along the river's length.

"It is defintiely nice to get away, without any others I see daily about," he noted, enjoying the cool breeze the flickered up a moment. "I've missed roaming about, and meeting others, to be honest. But those I have I have wondered about."

He flicked his tail a moment, in thought. "I don't recall," he said carefully, looking to her, "that I ever caught exactly where to find you before, either. Not that I mind exploring, of course. I've missed it, to be honest. But now things are settling. I guess it's my nature to lok after others soemwhat and be sure all is well. I dislike to see others in distress."

He glanced to the river then, looking for the area he normally corssed over through, a very shallow, wide stretch which would take them to the other side before they found the mud banks.

Rein_Carnation

The night was calm as the fireflies danced in merry little waltzes amongst themselves stopping only a few short seconds to land on the unicorn's horn then flit off again. She followed the royal dark stallion making sure her footing did not waver as they carried on further from the teepee he resided at.

"Well I live up towards the mountains, just short of the forest in a nice wooded clearing. Its pretty dense when it comes to the rainfalls and winter snow", she nodded as she followed him towards the river.

She pondered the clearing where her mother "the ice mare" had chosen. No nettles that were ever sharp entered that sanctuary. The two maidens that lived in a teepee not too far off left various things for them sometimes such as apples, blankets, etc.

"There is a bunch of Soquili living in that clearing, all different races might I add. I get amused by the flutters since they are smaller than the rest of us, she mused as she traveled onward, "which reminds me the quiet one is expecting real soon." she smiled with an air of curiosity to her own statement.

She noticed the crossing then waiting to see what he was planning on doing. It was nice to go on walks with others. Beats the lonliness that surrounds everything in the lack of a friend or companion.

Mintaka

"I've heard of the flutters," he said evently, knocking a sharp rock out of the walkway a moment. "Never laid eyes upon one myself."

He paused a moment at the crossing, eying the other side of the river to be sure it was clear before proceeding. Ocassionally bears or other animals were over that way, and he dare not stray into the path of a ferocious one tonight.

"The mountains seem lovely, but I like the openness here, and the water. Aside, inclines are not as fun for running along as it is down here in the flatter regions." He made his way carefully, making sure no rocks had become unstable or new debris had not collected.

"Athough I was surprised at Zikeria's arrival... I'd never seen one of our kind with wings. It was... different. But she's all the same as any other in personality to me." He laughed quietly. "We are such diverse looking, yet... alike. It is something to think about some nights when one is alone. I think when I have nothing else."

Rein_Carnation

Her footing held nicely though the ground in some areas had turned almost quite soft in places. Still it seemed that her hooves no matter how much mud never once stained with the darkened hue of the wet dirt.
It wasn't bothersome either so she didn't pay attention. Eyes of crystaline blue stayed gued to her chaperone as the continued onward.

"Well Zaribe is very interesting just like Zikeria. Funny to say I thought she was him for a moment standing with Minty" she smiled tossing her head as a firefly bounced off her velvety nose. The air was quite cool for the summer which reminded Glory of her mother; the ice mare.

"So big question of the evening is what do you think of the unicorns?" she mused watching him with interest, "I've been told we're really special yet I've also heard of winged unicorns. Imagine that ones that can fly." she said tossing her head as another firefly bounced about. She was content yet she was waiting for that spiral to draw its cue and begin that god awful itching once more.

Mintaka

Upon reaching the other shore he turned to watch her, bemused slightly by the question posed. After all, what was he to say? Of course nothing negative - he had nothing bad to say of any unicorn at all, especially not this one.

"The unicorns are an interesting batch, to say the least. Considered often to be the purest and somewhat perhaps magical, revered by many." He chuckled slightly, knocking away a bad rock off into a patch of other rough rocks. "No, I hold them in high esteem, and think quite highly of them. Winged ones, you say?" He pondered this, snorting slightly as a firefly alighted on his nose. "I suspect perhaps it's not too far-fetched to be honest - what, with winged ones of our kind and unicorns it would be bound to happen both traits happen, after all, emotions of love cannot wholly be contained to one's type only sometimes... I've heard of pairings of different types before. not that I envy them - I am sure they get their share of problems." He flicked his tail a moment, and looked to the sky. "I've never had a desire to fly myself - probably more freedom but I enjoy what I have."

Rein_Carnation

The flickering lights reminded the white mare adorned with the spiral of tiny suns contrasting the canopy above and around them. Her eyes crystalline mused at his answer feeling quite warm with his response. She was special, and full of mystic enchantment but overall Glory was herself. For some reason she understood him more than other Soquili she'd come across. Some holding anger, some sorrow, why even some were so different they hid their true emotions behind those not-so-composed tempers. The unicorn branded from birth from the shooting star understood a lot more than she usually let on, but being a child, a vessel of pure innocence was something she did best.

"Well I know its silly but from a foal till now I wanted to fly. My heart yearned to catch that breath of air and lift toward the open skies. How envious I was of those flutters when they could simply just come and go when they wanted." she nodded with a childish yet beautiful smile.

"The fist and only try.. well that was painful. But you know I had a good laugh out of it silly as it was. Do you think I'm silly wanting to fly?" she queried with a shy smile, "You don't have to answer that if you don't want to."

Mintaka

"Not at all," he said, beginning down the way. "There's nothing wrong with wanting something, even if it seems impossible. It's what makes us, somewhat."

After all, many would nto be where they are - such as Minty - without some desire, which may have seemed impossible at the time. While the odds of Glory sprouting wings were likely never, there was nothign wrong with a want to fly. Not unless she persued it recklessly to the point of self-injury or worse, death.

"You might realize it may not happen, but there's nothing wrong with wanting at all. Even simple littlw wants like a tasty apple." He laughed quietly, his tail flicking a moment. "Everyone has their own secret wishes, well, most everyone. Some find them to come true, others... well, what comes, comes. I am content with my life, for the most part. There certainly isn't anything bad about it, but I recognize not everyone is as fortunate, either."

The night's cool touch was refreshing, awakening, as mucha s this conversation was. It was different, yet exhilerating havign a talk with someoen who wasn't a person he saw every day, and someone he respect, and admired somewhat for holding onto a dream. As well, she had quite a bit to her, behind just the looks. Too many judged simply by that - although in cses of kalona, it'd be understood quickly why one judges by looks.

"Although the flutters mya fly, they do have their own disadvantages too, although I've never asked one about it. Being smaller though would bug me, to be honest."

Rein_Carnation

Glory beamed thinking about the flutters once again at the mentionn of them. Shaylee was quite a handful compared to the tranquil based Saissis whom was getting fatter day by day. She loved the flutters in their size and different attitudes. Barely once had she really got a good look at the winged named Zaribe. He was definitely Zikeria's brother there was no doubt about that.

"Fluuters. Mmm such pretty wings they have. Two come to mind from where I live. One as scattered brained as they come and the other sensible and full of hope. So different yet alike in nature." she nodded to him with a bright smile. "But you know as little as they are so many things can be achieved. Take for instance Saissis who is having babies carrying all that weight! I don't think I could do that." she giggled looking at him in a silly blush. "Err forget that I have no idea what Im even talking about really".

Looking to the ground she wondered what she was thinking still surprised on the fact that a little flutter was pregnant and moving her weight around quite easily most of the time. Eventually she'd have to ask about seeing if Saissis delivered yet or not. Shaking her head she came back to reality feeling a tad parched, " Umm would you mind terribly if I got a drink?"

Mintaka

"As varied as we all are," Kahaina mused a moment, and looked back to her. "No, please, by all means, feel free. I would not deny you your needs."

He mused on her words awhile. "Well, for even as msall as they are, they need to carry foal to carry on the line after all. Else there would be very few flutters indeed! Of course, this can be said of all things alive, no?" he laughed quietly then, lapsing back into silence again and thought. After a moment, he spoke again.

"Don't worry about your words, they don't offend or upset me. I rather people speak their minds freely, then feel the need to be careful all the time and be judged critically over so few things."

Rein_Carnation

She beamed with a snile that accented those cyan orbs mimicing the water she now sought. Cool and refreshing it reached her muzzle as her head edged downward to intake the water curing her throat from the talking she had contributed.

When finished she rose her head slowly letting the droplets fall one right after another into the stream where they came from. Finally satisfied she joined him once more refreshed and content.

"Hmm sometimes" she spoke with a smile, "My words get over my head, not like Shaylee though whom is a constant chatterbox mind you but moreso curiousity I think. I tend to ponder many things be they good or bad." she said with an almost embarrased look.

Her head rising toward the sky made her look almost mythical as the contrasting purple lined with blue lie on top of the striking white coat.

"Atleast," she spoke with a smile turning back towards him "someone finally does listen to my rambling. I thank you for that."

Mintaka

"Nothing wrong with thinking, I do plenty of it myself," Kahaina said, slightly bemused. "If we didn't contemplate how thigns were, we woudl never understand them... although I don't think that quite works on certain individuals." He laughed quietly. "I don't fully understand all two-leggers still. Some truly perplex me."

He looked at her awhile, searching for the next choice of words, admiring her grace and poise. She held herself as most might expect of a unicorn, but much lied beneath that exterior as well. "It would be rude," he said, "to not listen to what one has to say. If we did not listen, there would be no conversation and no understandings. And life would be dull. Aside, you listen to me, so it's only fair." He laughed again, lightly. "I respect everyone I come across unless given good reason, and even then, there is no sense in stepping down to the level of others. FIghting doesn't resolve much, in the end."

Rein_Carnation

The sound of a frog made himself apparent as it leapt into the water creating a subtle yet known splash. Following its attention getting scheme it made noises deep in its gullet like a croaking sound. Strange how the night could speak for itself in the chorus of various amphibians and insects in an orchestral serenade. Flicking her ears to catch each tone and pitch made Glory feel as if the darkness sang another song than the day combined with songbirds in sweet melodies.

"Well when there are two listeners there will always be a right solution." she said thoughtfully, "Many times when one speaks over the other all is lost in what was attempted".

She smiled with a quiet giggle hearing Celendria speak within those words of knowledge. So much one could learn from their parental guardian if they only just open their ears and believe what is openly given to them.

"I take after my mother, the one whom found me. I guess you could say a little of that icyness rubbed off", she giggled to herself setting her cyan blue orbs upon his own caring eyes. "As for two-leggers they are like bark on a tree. I never understood their concept but if you think about it they both play a role in this world. Protection. Bark on the tree to cover ijn warmth and life. Two-leggers to watch out for the Soquili giving good things to eat and keeping harm far away." she nodded with another smile as her deep violet tail swung back and forth making a wisping noise.

Mintaka

"Two-leggers are a blessing, usually - not all, sadly, are. The green mare at my place escaped from a rather cruel two-legger... but we took her in and she's alright now." He shook his head slightly. "Sad how some don't respect what exists. I was raised mostly by my two-legger after my mother died." He looked to the sky then, reflecting a moment on those days so long ago. At least, as they felt such. It'd been a long time... his mother had been in Saloli's care for some time, and in the family, but she'd passed on from illness or age - he had never been too certain. She'd been a kindly, even-tempered mare who'd work to instill much in him in their short time together.

"He did a good job, all things considered. Mother instilled a lot in me before she passed on, and he made sure I stayed healthy, clean, and out of most trouble." He snickered quietly. "I didn't try too often, but there was a bear once before I was grown... I learned to respect that which was bigger then me somewhat."

He looked at the frog a moment, then to Glory. "It is a good thing when two can hear one another and talk - it proves we are not alone in the world, and that all things continue. It gives hope. With such words of Kalona about, and other problems... one needs good to remind them that not all is lost."

Rein_Carnation

The wild dog sounded in the horizon to the east of the mountains as it always had when the pursuits of childhood took form of a unicorn and her friend out exploring. Ah the memories that flowed evenly hinting spice of being lost and wishing Celendria would come.

Though she wished not to leave her companion's side, the snow white delicate female knew time was fickle and returning to Kimi was in the escence. His words were soothing to her perked ears as his voice was matched to flutter within her chest.

"Two-leggers are odd but I think if my mother trusts them I shall as well." she nodded with a sweet smile. Looking at the twinkling stars as they winked back at her she once again heard the calls of the wild dog in the distance.

A brief sigh escaped her throat as the light shined upon her from the silvery orb high in the sky. "I know this will sound odd since I am indeed an adult, but I do think I must return back to the herd." she frowned looking apoligeticaly at him. "I do hope that we will meet again Kahaina, but for now I must pass through the water and return back."

Walking slowly toward him in her own affection she nuzzled him briefly then started her journey back. "Please take care" she called back before she galloped over the water and headed off to the blackness being swalloed completely till she wasn't seen anymore.

Mintaka

He nodded, accepting that she ahd her own obligations and needs, and watched for long moments as she disapepared and stared after, exhaling slowly. "Do take care," he said, "and I do hope we meet again." He headed back slowly, reflecting on the night. It had certainly been somewhat unexpected, yet refreshing and new. And invigorating. He had some soul searching to do, it seemed, but it would have to wait til after sleep.
