The horizon carried but a tinge of redness from the summer's heat spawling across the changing sky. Eyes of softness studing with interest as a mare walked slowly along the emerald grasses. The air spoke to her in a sense of a meeting today. She mused greatly at being in the presence of another since she arrived with Crystalline.
Turning on a pivot of her hooves she headed down toward a stream not too far off. The thought of coolness made the mare smile as her wings danced in a stretch glinting sunlight upon the blue hue reminicing of ocean currents. Lowering her head she drank deeply letting a cascade of pink and blue trail off her sholuders. In a happy satisfaction she closed her eyes in a dreamy state. It was quite nice in this land with all its wonders.

Soaring through the dark sky, Axel felt rather... lazy tonight. But it was a fine night to be in the sky. He noticed a stream below him and decided to descend as he was getting a tad thirsty. As he landed in the area, the stallion shook his short mane lazily. His bright green eyes looked around as he tucked his wings close to his side. He shrugged to himself and moved towards the edge of the stream and drank heavily. The refreshing water felt relaxing as it slid down his throat.
Axel didn't even notice the mare close-by.

Could it of been the wind the stallion produced that sent Star Catcher's head up in a fast motion. Possibly so though with Star Catcher things were always signs of things to come and vice versa. The firey stallion dressed in a cloak of black didn't phase her, though eyes widened at the sight of him.
Finally someone who lives in this land, she murmered to herself.
She shook the excess water from her muzzle and smiled, "Hello there. I'm new to this land." she bowed, as her mane fell heavily in pink and blue.

Raising a brow as he heard a voice nearby, he couldn't believe he hadn't seen her. She was a rather stunning mare and wings like his. He had only seen a few winged soquili so this was a quaint surprise. "Hello. I too am new to this land." As pretty as she was, he had to be wary. He couldn't trust anybody on this isle...
Axel observed her quietly. She seemed... alright. But you never knew.

"Oh", she replied with a smile, "I am Star Catcher. Nice to meet you. Happen to know anything about this place?" she queried tossing her long pink mane accented in a blue silken streak. Walking slowly toward him the mare held her smile and dreamy look. White as cotton with shimmering pink designs that painted her with care.
"I arrived here with a regular mare named Crystalline. She shines blue with glitter." she nodded lowering her head to graze, for flying was one thing she desired it was keeping her health and strength up.
When but about ten feet away she paused, for in her upbringing stallions always got their private space when you consulted or talked with them. Only those whom treated you as their own and likewise would grant the pardon to be closer. She respected this rule greatly letting his inhibitions lesson in her own presence.

"Axel." He put it simply and took another drink from the stream. "Nope. Nothing at all except there are a few familiar soquili but mostly not." He wore a simple black trench coat. It was a ponderous thought on how he moved in the piece of clothing but he rather liked his coat.
"I see." Axel eyed her silently as she stopped about ten feet away from him. Good... He couldn't trust anybody. After hearing about those skinwalker attacks... He knew he had to be careful. He cared for nobody but himself.

Keeping her space she watched him with open evaluation. Such a strange garment he wore on his form. She purely mused at how he actually flew in such a thing. Knowing there were many other soquili in this land Axel was the first she'd come upon and greeted. He seemed on the anti-social side for his words were sharp and silenced with only a few.
She lowered her head to take a bite of grass, though it might have been immpolite she was starving from her long flight. Only the greenest blades sought her attention in which she plucked with ease rising back up to face toward him, chewing gracefully as her ears flickered back and forth.
"Tell me what other soquili have you run across here. I've had several smells be they good or bad pass me in flight."

Axel wasn't exactly a social soquili, though he did talk most of the time. Usually they were useless or meaningless answers. He never really talked about himself either, which could drive 'friends' mad.
The stallion shrugged slightly, "Not many. A few mares and a few stallions. Nothing really special about them. I guess you could say they are... 'good'." But then again, he wasn't sure about the distinction between good and bad. He just answered her question.

She pondered on what he said though the closed door still stayed intact with him. Oh well to each their own, she thought with a smile. Walking a little bit closer yet keeping that "personal space", she closed her eyes inhaling the air. Indeed many scents traveled to her senses being both good and bad.
"Oh there are bad ones that lurk. I can sense it upon the air, even more so when the temperature cools. Those that lust for blood and carnage. Or kind even." she said returning her gaze back toward him. "Its hard to trust those whom do hide things and then there are worse things. I do hope I'll not run across those that put the stench in the air. I understand the circle in life, But reincarnation I do not wish to see."
Her eyes filming over like a glass marble as if the spirits were speaking to her in whispers.
