Nitika looked around her noticing the environment she ran around was starting to look too familiar, so in her curiousity she decided to go for her first walk by herself. She wouldn't travel far of course but was wondering if she'd meet any new Soquili in her journey. Lately it had been most of the time scampering about by her mother's side. Today she'd learn something on her own. Tossing her head about the filly looked here and there glancing upward now and then at light filtering down through the treetops merging with the thick summer leaves. She was told of fall coming and wanted to see those leaves change color. So she kept her little walk in motion to see all she could see.

Glancing back and forth, Kakashi wandered away from the teepee he lived in with quite a few other soquili. Tossing his short mane lazily, the stallion walked through the forests with a somewhat cocky stride. Kakashi yawned lazily and looked around. Silence... Except for a few grasshoppers and crickets. His tail flickered back and forth swatting away bothersome flies. It was a rather nice day. Not too hot, not too cold. But he could feel a season change coming...

Nitika kept her stride concentrating about how her little legs spawled outward when she unknowingly changed her weight in her movement. Frowning she tried once more lifting her pretty little head. Though in her little concentration game she came upon a stallion. Eyes wide as saucers she concentrated even more to show she wasn't faltering in front of the muscled creature. Though efforts praying not in her favor Nitika stumbled and lost her footing sitting there on her haunches feeling quiet stupid she'd messed up in front of an older stallion.

Raising a brow, Kakashi noticed a little foal approaching him. Wondering what she was doing, he bent down. "Are you already there, little one?" What a curious little foal... Little wings... Just like that stallion he had met awhile back. Oh what a curious place this was. He wondered if there were any other types of soquili out there. Returning his focus back onto the foal, "Do you need help?"

Looking upward with her wayward violet crystal eyes she frowned. Her attempt at being graceful was what they would call being practical as a grain of salt. "Well I'm still trying to get the hang of being graceful like mommy is." she mentioned lifting up her haunches from the ground where she sat beforehand quite in dismay she had failed her attempt. Blinking she noticed his strange attire wondering where he was from. Saissis her mother had traveled a great distance to be here but this particular stallion had no wings be they fickle flutter or graceful winged.
She looked at him in her curious manner wondering if he could help her in walking more like a lady then a stumbling two-legger tripping over her own four feet.

Graceful like mommy? Wow that was rather interesting. She was such an adorable foal. He watched her with curiousity and chuckled fondly as she fell over again. He nudged her slightly. "Don't worry. You'll get the hang of it." The stallion nodded softly. "What's a little foal doing out here all alone?" He tilted his head. This place was no longer safe for foals. Especially with Kalona and Skinwalkers lurking about. It was definitely a concern.

She looked up at him blushing, though a foal blush was more embarrassment than anything. "Well I thought I'd practice, "she said with a cute smile, "but these legs just won't be nice to me. One time they go one way, next another way."
She frowned and smiled at his long legs. Maybe just maybe he could teach her to walk. "You can teach me. Big strong legs help you and help me too." she beamed prancing about. "Please will you help me show mommy I can be graceful and a lady?"

Kakashi nodded, "Practice is good. And you'll grow. And then you'll be beautiful and graceful." The stallion nodded once more... He tilted his head at her inquiry, "Teach you? I'd really love to but... how would I teach you?" The stallion shook his mane quickly to free himself from the buzzing flies.

She paused thinking a moment. "Well... you show me how to walk and I'll follow your steps. Easy as that. Mommy is always flying and I'm still learning." She smiled up at him with a shine in her eyes. "I bet you'd be a good teacher if you try."
Trotting about she tripped and stumbled blushing horribly. "Graceful. Mommy says be graceful. But how?" looking back at him again she tilted her head.

"Alright..." Kakashi began to walk forward, turning his head to look at the little mare quietly. The stallion didn't know if he was a good teacher or not but he'd find out. "Heh. It'll take time. But don't worry about it too much. You'll get the hang of it. Just... practice." He nodded softly and continued to walk forward looking back at her.

She knew she was growing which meant she had to Practice... Yes practice as Kakashi had told her to. So when he stepped in his own way she followed with a bit of offbalance. Frowning she held her posture into a strong one and stepped outward. As her mother mentioned before things took time. So would this in which she'd have to get the hang of it before her perfection would shine through. Knobby knees and lithe little legs didn't help matters any. Still she wasn't giving up. If there was one thing about this little one she had extreme determination, same with flying.
"Okay like this?" she nickered holding her little leg up and stepping forward.

Kakashi nodded and smiled happily at her. She was cute... she seemed to remind him of somebody but he couldn't really place who. The little foal seemed so determined... He liked that about anybody. It was definitely an admirable quality. He nodded as she asked him the question. "One step at a time."

"One step at a time" she repeated placing it in her mind deeply. Knowing not if it was her father or mother's traits it made no difference. Eager to learn Nitika would practice her little heart out. How she longed to swish her tiny tail like the adults did. Such grace and beauty showed through in certain things the larger wiser Soquili could do.
HJer balance still proved to be difficult, yet her little attempts were turning successful. Lifting one foreleg than the other she stepped outw ard one at a time feeling her balance strengthen and improve. "Hey.. I think I'm getting the hang of it."
