((This RP is for Taka and Rein. Please ask before you post.)) The morning opened the flowers to rays of sunshine and warmth making the world once again awaken to a new day filled with w onder and excitement. This particular day created a curious overtone for a certain winged mare just bursting with questions about things she'd never noticed before.
Now as an adult the deep blue delicate winged still held queries about various things here and there. Always ready for something interesting she'd continue coming out early just to experience a whole new feeling if she could. Today especially felt super special and called to her more vocally than before.

Young Blaise hoped, beyond hoped that today was the day she would finally lift her wings and take to the sky. She felt as she did once in her basket, dreaming of the wonders which laid beyond her reach. She was in a little glade, fluffling up her tail, and wrinkling her little nose, her wings outstretched. Off she went, running as quickly as she could and flapping her wings as hard as she could and and and..... then she crashed headlong into an obstuction and tumbled over to her side. Shaking her head, her golden eyes blink to see a purple mare.

As the sun lifted even higher Nitika's eyes caught sight of something golden carrening into the ground so rapidly it caught her off guard. The fluttering of wings, and simple disappointment told the indigo mare that another was attempting to fly.
Lifting her head high she stepped like ocean swept water smooth and balanced. Memories traveled in her mind deeply of her first flight attempt. All was not pleasent with many a sad moment. But try and you will succed was the lesson learned from that experience.
Thinking on what was proper she stepped toward the little one with a sweet smile, "I remember the days of trying to fly. It didn't feel so well." she announced with a sad look upon her face. She looked about for the foal's mother yet non seemed to be around. "Have you a mother to teach you little one?"

The little alicorn blinked, scrambling quickly to her hooves and shook her head, "I don't have a mother" she said, wondering how lovely was it to have a mother who can teach you how to fly..... Shaking the stars from her eyes for the moment, she stared at the bright colorful mare before her, and burst out giggling, "you look like a parrot!" Young Blaise was easily delighted, and she pranched around the mare, admiring the soft wings and delicate curves of colors.

Being a Soquili in boodlines with a mother from a farawy place she dreamed very much and tended to think reather positively enacting those thoughts. But to hear a little one had no mother brought sadness that washed at her like a random ocean surf containing bubbles that were either good or bad. Had one popped in your eye with a lot of salt once was sure to be miserable and cry. And this the musings of an adult mare slowly drift backwards to the youth she once was.
Pausing Nitika thought a moment, "Well I'm not a mother but I may just be able to get you off the ground if you want to learn. When I was but a filly all I wanted to do was fly, but somehow managed to crash more." she nodded her head with a smile, "but you must never give up and keep trying."
She looked at the sky then back to the special little one, "What's your name by the way? I'm Nitika".

She nodded at the comment of crashing before before bursting into a radiant smile,"It would be lovely if you'd be willing to teach me" she said. She was unsure as to how she would..or even if she would have dared to ask someone to help her in those dubious efforts. Bowing her head, "I...I'm called Blaise" and looked pixie ishly at Nitika, a wholely adorable grin on her soquili face.

"What an adorable name Blaise." she cooed with her own lucid little smile.
Stretching her sea foam tipped wings she pondered how to start. "Well best thing to do is get a feeling for what you want your wings to do. Like this", she said motioning her wings lightly up and down. Her mother had done it several times with her letting the rythem set in naturally.
'See the more you let them move without pushing too hard, the easier it will be to get off the ground. Wings exercises." she chimed as she flexed her w ings slowly so Blaise could watch.

"Oh..." followed Blaise, snapping her wings out and flapping them uncoordinatedly after Nitika. Because her wings were so small, and she was so white and golden, she looked rather like an oversized chick. Up went the right wing, and down came the left wing. Her hooves went slippery slipping, as small tufts of wind buffetted between her left and right wings, and she bumped behind Nitika. "OOps...." she exclaimed again, blinking hard.

Nitika smiled with not an ounce of sarcasm. For it was immpossible to learn anything on one's first try. She simply kept at her routine letting the little shining one follow in suite. Once she could balance herself upon the ground, she'd be able to lift in the air. The winged mare remembered how small she was to her mother, with her mother's wings a little bigger and different than hers. But with confidence she learned her little one to lift to the skies.
"Just remember to get a feel for it as you flap your wings. Once you can stay in one spot and feel that you can do it, well we'll see about leaving the ground finally."

The little filly shook her head, determination flaring in those bright light eyes. "yes mam" she whinnied and flapped those wings harder. Bit by bit, her hooves lifted and landed back on the ground, until for 2 awkward moments, she hung in the sky and gave a snort, "lookie me!" and she pattered back on ground, grinning ear to ear.

Nitika grinned with a flick of her two-toned tail as she swept her wings outward rising like a bird to the sky slowly inching down to meet Blaise.
"Wow.. you're doing great. As long as you get a feel for the air around you and have balance all you need is a good heart" she whickered feeling so proud of one that trusted her guidance.
Tossing her head she kept there in the sky slowly beating her wings in watch of the small foal before her. "Hmm wonder if I looked that tiny when I was little"?

She giggled, leaping about Nitika playfully, "You were as small as me? Will I grow as big too when I grow up?" she asked, the shy little smile still on her soquili face. She flapped her wings, occasionally inching up and down, barely a few feet off the ground.

Nitika literally melted into the child's pe rspective and nodded with an excited nod. Blaise was an ani which meant she'd grow average winged/unicorn height for sure. It made her giggle thinking how much more smaller her brother was compared to Tansy and herself. For flutters were little creatures that weren't as breakable as they looked.
" Why yes. You'll grow up to be really pretty and of so tall." she noted pulling herself ever so slightly in the sky, letting the little one follow her so she was even more away from the ground.

Her eyes widen with delight, "Really??" she fluttered as she followed Nitika, occasionally bumping against her as she was still uncoordinated in the air. "OOf..." she muttered along....wanting to listen to more stories from the mare.

She still thought on the fact of how tiny her brother was to herself... okay not that tiny but he was short compared to her and Tansy. Watching Blaise now made her feel so proud to be teaching as her mother always did. It was true the little Nitika staring into those crysdtal clear ponds had finally sprouted her adult wings and charm.
Flapping her own wings she nodded pulling higher so the foal would follow. Once she was high enough and Blaise felt comfortable they could begin gliding together.
"I have a brother and a sister and its funny how Chev is smaller than us girls. Mother is a flutter and dad is a winged like Tansy and I. I remember being as small as you and look how big I've grown. Why I'll bet you'll be even priettier than me." she beamed watching Blaise for balance and clarity.
