This RP is for Shariea and Rein. No posty otherwise. How long had it been since the newcomers arrived here in this land? New soquili, strange pale faces, and handsome stallions. The simple thoughts made Shaylee's head nearly topple over with giddiness. Fluttering her long translucent wings of purple mist she zipped along feeling quite frisky.
One particular stallion intrigued her like non other of course, even if he was from another land wearing that strange thing on his back. He listened to her, thought the little one a faerie of sorts. And this is what made the Sugarplum fairy shine with her sweetness.
Today she zipped in and out of the flowers picking them in a little bouquet. As much as the world could offer she shined back in three fold. Maybe just maybe that charming stallion would round the bend and she could see him again. Of course it wasn't anything like Azure mind you. Never again would she fall for someone as heavy as her first crush.

Torn indeed wasnt far off from shaylee although neather of them seemed to notice this plesnt fact. The dark stallion was lazyily laying the shade of a tall oak, its branches long and full of life. He sighed contently as she layed upon a bed of soft grass, every now and then leaning down to take in a mouthful. The stallion was being lazy today, the heat of the day raining down upon his dark form in dappled rays through the thick canopy above him. His ebony tail flicked against his haunches, chasing away a few flies whom had dared to land there. He wondered if he would ever see that icy cold mare or the delightful faerie again. She was so full of life and engery that even on a day like this he was sure that her presance could rouse him from his lethargy.

Head held very high she held that bouquet of the prettiest purple blossoms she could find zipping in and out of the flower patches finding the right one. Zipping past Torn she never saw him sadly. Her concerns lie upon a rather large bee that she swore was the size of her little hooves.
It seemed this little insect, or big in her opinion, wanted that lovely bunch of flowers she had grasped between her protective muzzle. She snorted pulling back her ears. It was hers, she picked them, why now was the creature trying to claim what was her.
A warning escaped her throat.
The bee swarmed at her cursing indefinitely it sounded like. It wasn't happy, not at all. Then something turned from sunny to stormy when about 20 other bees joined it, buzzing madly as they fixed on her bouquet.
Shaylee was highly annoyed to no end snorting and pawing at the air. Being bullied by a bunch of no account bumble bees. Then she let out the loudest shriek as one intentionally snuck in and stung her in the right hindquarter. It hurt so bad her side thumped. But that wasn't stopping the little sugarplum faerie from defending her flowers.. not by a longshot.

Torn's ears lightly flicked as the lazy male heard the scream of pain, and anger. He slowly opened his eyes in time to see shaylee start stomping on the ground and glowering at a swarm of bees. The stallion chuckled softly and got to his feet, imerging from the shade into the hot sunlight.
"what seems to be the problem here lass?" he asked her in a casual tone, though his voice beamed with laugher. She was so valliant standing her ground like that, staring down the bees and watching them intently even after she had been stung.

Her eyes raged with just enough spitfire to awaken her own hornet's nest. Swerving her head she snorted fighting back, all the while gaining about 4 more tender stings in her shoulders and rump. When the one swarmed and attacked her neck the poor flutter seemed a bit off guard. Where each sting had landed the areas were becoming swelled up and entirely painful.
Then disaster struck when one of the bees launched itself at her wing tearing through. Not badly mind you but enough to ground her in a lot of pain. It really did hurt to flutter her wings like she always did. So she stood there getting stung as her teeth clampede on her flowers.
What right do they have to bully me. I was so happy and thinking of ..., she thought to herself hearing Torn's voice near her. Eyes nearly in tears she looked up at him and sighed. Defeat was never a good thing in a proud little flutter's heart.
Tossing the flowers amongst the ground the bees followed after then left. She then sat on her haunches and frowned more. Limply her injured wing hung downward as the other nestled itself. A thought entered her mind then with her conversation with Safi.
Looking up at Torn she spoke in a quiver of a voice, "They really can tear through. I can't fly now cause it hurts way too much. What am I going to do?"

Torn looked at Shaylee with a sad expression, though he wanted deeply to comfort her..."I dont know Lassy... I dont know." The words left his mouth before he could really consider what he had said. He lightly bit his bottom lip and nudged her softly, a friendly caress in the hopes that it would help.
He didnt know what to do, The little lass was so strong and yet so fragile. Perhaps she really was a faerie from the lands of the little people...and if so nothing he could do would mend her.
Looking down he spotted the most perfect purple flower, its petals lightly shimmering with due that had survived the harsh rays of the warming sun. Delicatly he plucked the flower in his mouth and leaned forward, and offering to the little one. Speaking with his teeth clenched protectively over the stem. "For you..."

She felt a little lost. Her fiestiness had gotten her injured and lost a battle. My how Safi would just shake his head at the stupidity she had just managed. The thing that irritated the flutter was the fact after she had given in they departed in their little swarm. Now her wing was thumping from being penatrated by a kamikaze bumblebee. A hole in the top layer of her wing had been ripped through. She had to face the fact that this little spitfire was grounded for now.
Torn looked so helpless trying to comfort her. He really was a sweetheart because he didn't laugh at her foolishness.
"Well there goes my flowers. Just look at them wilting away like that." she said with a little smile winking to Torn. When he offered her the flower she shed a few tears and nuzzled him. Letting her wing lay limp, it felt better that way since it stung worse than the stings she's recieved all over.
Sitting on her haunches next to him she hung her head. "Care to spend some time on the ground with me? I don't think I'll fly for quite a bit. Hmm I may just have to trust those two leggers to help me. But.. but how do I trust them?"

Torn sighed softly, he didnt know how to help her. The poor little dear was so helpless looking and he didnt know what to do. He sighed and although her nuzzling made his heart leap at the tough he was sadened by her wing. So fragile she was, but such a spite fire too. He flashed her a smile and nuzzled his back. "The two leggers are not all that bad. There was one time..." he couldnt believe he was going to tell her this story. It was a story of his own foolishness back home. He lightly flushed under his dark coat, but it would be worth it if it made her feel better or even made a flicker of a smile.
"one time, a long time ago when I was but a colt growing into a stallion. I was head strong and fool hardy. I rather thought I was invinceable. " he said with a small chuckle. "one day, I was messing around in the feilds and I ended up twisting my leg. I rather though I was going to be a goner. The pain was so bad....the two legger that was with me helped bind my leg and she put a paste on it that helped take the burning and swelling down. It wasnt broken as I had feared and she fixed me right up. She's always been by my side since then...."

Sitting there on her haunches the little flutter listened tentivly to his age old tale. Though depressed and down the little one perked her ears to his every word, thinking to herself maybe it was possible to trust those that walked on two legs. But then again that wildness that sat on the tip of her fiestiness whispered otherwise. She was so different than the ones permanent to the ground.
Raising a leg she rubbed her muzzle on it as if a cat or human would drying her tears with the lower region. Placing it back on the ground she leaned over against him as her head just nicely laid upon his shoulder.
"So you think she'll not hurt me? I'm fragile ya know." she said with a smile pitiful smile. Her eyes averted back to the ground w here she lied gaze upon a now drying out flower browning and dead. "I'm not usually like this but I'm unsure what to do right now."

Torn nuzzled her softly, trying to be as strong as she needed him to be right now. Watching the little one cry was hard to do when he had nothing to help her dry her tears or even make her happy again. She was worried inside, about the two leggers and he really couldnt blame her. Some of them where really bad news but others where very kind and gentle. He laid his head very gently across her neck in a kind of hug. "Everything will be alright lass...my two legger wouldnt hurt you. Though she may be odd at times she has a heart of pure gold that one."
At lest, at last, a small smile though a sad one had crept onto her face. He must be doing something right. He sighed softly and slowly withdrew from her. "Come now...the sooner we get you fixed up the sooner you will be in the sky where you belong."

"Fixed up?" came the worried voice of a little teal fox. "Oh dear what did she do to herself?" his words were almost accusing but not harsh. If there was one creature that knew little shaylee from little on up it was Everly the constant vigil fox. Padding over he siddled up beside her noticing the torn wing limp and sore. "Oh dear, "he muttered with a little sigh, "Erm kind stallion she needs to be in assitance of a two-legger I'm afarid. That's going to take a bit to mend sadly." His eyes laid back on her thinking deeply that maybe now she wouldn't be so impulsive next time."
Shaylee sighed depply herself almost seeming to slouch if it weren't for Torn being there for balance. She wasn't the least bit happy about trusting a two-legged so willingly. Perhaps it was the weaving of the wild within her strong will and thoughts just as her mane and tail blew about in a strong gust of wind.
"I'm just... oh I don't know now." she muttered with a flick of her eyes feeling ashamed. Each time a minute passed her flowers became more wilted and forgotten. She had lost.. she knew it, time to face the piper for your sins as they always said in the bout of true accusations. "Fine. But I won't go unless you come along Torn. I mean", she murmered in a little uncertainy, "because I can't even fight off a fly right now."

Torn looked down to the little fox, surprised by its certain apperance and odd coloration. Of corse it didnt take him long to figure out that it was the Faries compaion, or perhaps her keeper or guardian. Never the less he nodded his head to the little one while keeping Shaylee braced beside him. "We where just talking about that... She is rather scared of the two leggers it would seem..."
He turned to Shaylee and her words that echoed with sadness. His expression softed into worry as he lightly nuzzled her. "Dont you worry lass, I'll protect you from anymore harm. Im sorry I didnt help with the bees..." he did feel really awful about that, but she had been so valliant and strong standing her ground...

Her eyes averted to Everly than to Torn noticing they both held a grip of sadness for her. This was depressing for Shaylee never could stand anyone to be in a low mood or feeling sorry for her. Yes, she hurt and was defeated but this was no way to impress either of them, showing she was able to handle a minimal complication as a torn wing.
Deciding it was time to face the piper she tried standing with a little smile, "Alright. Lets see this person of yours Torn. No use sitting here wile I puff up like a milkweed pod. Best to deal with these injuries than cry over them."
Everly noted she was getting back to herself, but still she was holding back. Her words were quite perky but she was indeed scared. "Yeah she needs fixed up before she swells up anymore. Torn can you lead her or shall I lead you both?" he asked with a scratch to his right ear as his bushy tail swayed back and forth.

Torn smiled as she stood up, finally having made the choice to follow him and hopefully get her win repaird. He held out hope that his two legger could mend her wing and that Shaylee would soon be gliding in the air before him again. The dark stallion looked down at the fox and shook his head. "I can lead her, but perhaps it would be best if you ran ahead and tryed to tell the two leggers whats wrong.. I know they wont understand but maybe they will know something is up..."

Everly listened with a keen ear wondering how he'd go about alerting these humans. Torn seemed confident the paler female would know what she was doing. But Shaylee in the security of a human being? Now there was something that was printed in lead and unrecognizable in any case. A filly born of the spirits was hard to ever been seen as tame. She was a free hearted individual with the mind of a child and the temper of a bumblebee.
"Alright. I'll see if I can get the attention of this "pale one" you call your owner. No worries Shaylee you'll be fixed in no time."
Swallowing heavy her eyes gleamed a bit of panic though the warmth of the ebony shoulder she leaned against kept her still. Her head rested there off and on from her exhaustion involving those horrible bees from hell. She'd have to get better to be able to fly again but yet being here with torn wasn't so bad. He even liked her company which made her giddy, when she wasn't zipping back and forth like a little dragonfly. The future seemed uncertain as she walked beside him, but she'd be strong as she was born with a great will. She'd do it for the great one beside her. He was nothing like her first crush but yet was he something else. Tentively her little brain worked itself like cogs in a clock wondering what she was thinking in the first place.
