Minty sighed slightly, havigna huge headache form the entire ordeal. Sure, she was a happy mother, but... still! She'd bore not one, not even two, but three! Three! Star Candy was liekly going to be quite the proud father, even if it was a little unexpected between them.
But... if he was caring for one, and she was caring for one... what about the other? She couldn't possibly handle two, and she couldn't ask Zikeria to do it, she was busy and away a lot and deserved life. She needed a friend she could trust...
Or a friend of someoen she could trust well enough. She looked at Kahaina, eying him again as she nudged the basket a moment. "I hope you're right," she said, a little worried. "I have no doubt Glory could help, btu I don't wna tot saddle her if she's unwilling. Aside, she's a unicorn too... she'd know better about her kind fo help him more. not that Star couldn't, but you know? A motherly thing."
Kahaina avoided rolling his eyes, mostly because she was rambling and acting way too nervous. "It'll be fine, if not I'm sure we'll think of something." It felt a little awkward asking someone he loved to take care of someone else's child, but he'd rather have what's best for the kid. After all, one day, he might be in the same position...
or perhaps Glory would know someoen she trusted. What a mess, in a way.

It was of course an every day thing to Glory to visit Kahaina- Being her mate now. She was thrilled to visit at his place occassionally dropping back home to check in on her own herd and family. Kimimela though had disappeared one night, which did indeed worry the snow white horned one just a bit. But perhaps little Kimi had found someone in her heart as Glory had done.
She trotted in giving her usual whinny to mark her appearence to anyone within earshot. Noticing Kahaina and Minty talking she skidded to a halt standing paitiently. Celendria always taught her it was best to let others have their say before you barge in on something not involving you.

"Glory~" Minty sand out, dancing in spot a moment as she saw her. She then gave a nudge with ehr hip to Kahaina to get moving, before nuzzlign the basket again.
Kahaina considered mumbling something to Minty but decided against it, heading over to Glory and giving her a nuzzle. "Don't mind her, she's just... all in a flutter." He laughed quietly, watching Minty a moment. "She wants to ask you something. But aside that, how are you?"

She mused seeing him but rather wanted to sing being nuzzled like he always did. Her eyes turned toward Minty perking her ears curiously. Returning her gaze toward Kahaina she smiled, "I've been well. Seems the herd is handing nicely, though poor Kimi still hasn't come home as of yet."
She frowned that her friend so meek and timid was out on her own. What if something had happened to her that no one would know to look. Regaining a smile though it caused her eyes to twinkle, "No worries I'm sure she's fine. Now what does Miss Minty need to ask of me?"

"We shall hope she's simply found someone to care for her and all," Kahaina said soothlingly. He knew Glory cared deeply for those around her, and didn't want her fretting too much. Hopefully they were right about Kimi after all.
"Let's go over and find out, as it'd be better if she explained the... situation." He lead the way, keeping an even expression.
"Glory~" Minty sang again, stopping her nuzzling of the basket. "I know this... well, it'll be a bit much to ask but... well..." She nosed the basket a moment, and the the one to her side. "See, I went out one day, and met this really.... really cute guy whow as totally awesome overall..." She coughed, blushing then. "Anyway! So..... I ... had foals. Yep, I'm a mommy!"
She beamed just then a moment, and then switched moods again to something more serious. "And, well... we had three. And Star Candy's kind of taking care of one, and ... well... I have one... but I can't handle two. I simply couldn't manage it. not all by myself anyway, and everything is all crazy and stuff, and... well..." She looked at Glory with big pleading eyes. "Could you help take care of one for me?"

Glory listened quietly to Minty's words with an open heart. Glory was never one to ever turn away someone in need, Celendria raised her to more proper than that. But the pure expression of watching one threw her for a loop.
"Minty. Oh Congratulations on your baskets." she beamed with wide eyes looking at them. How would she watch over one anyway? She could never be an adoptive parent for the father surely wouldn't agree to that.
"Well I could hang about and help you definitely, besides it gives me an excuse to tell Celendria to come and be with Kahaina." Her expression was purely lyrical on that thought. Even a quaint little muse entered her mind of what it would be like to have her own foals. Which in the company of others she blushed heavily that her own thoughts were leaking outward.

Minty laughed lightly. "Anything to help, please. I can't possibly keep track of everyone, I have enough trouble sometimes keeping track of all the adults living here." She shook her ehad slightly. "And I remember bounding around a lot as a foal and being quite the troublesome lot. I don't doubt these will be as or more vibrant, moreso soncidering their father." She blushed then, remembering that day. "Er, hrm. Thank you though." She nudged both baskets affectionately.
Kahaina watched Glory with a certain amusement and adoration both, and the blush didn't get past him. He considered asking, but didn't want to embarass her further. Perhaps another time.
The pattering of hooves woudl certainly be an interesting prospect around the teepee. It gave a slight longing for some of his own, but only in due time, when they were ready. But for now, perhaps, he could learn beforehand and not be quite the inexperienced father. Wouldn't want to let Glory down on that count, after all.

Glory mused at the dedication and persistence of dear Minty. Three children had to be quite the handful if you will for one mother to tend and care. Her own thoughts of motherhood wondered in the direction of how much she herself could handle. Still it was in all "good" practice and a definite learning experience to be introduced in assistance as she was offered.
"Not a problem at all. Why... it might help Kahainia and I to be ready..." she blinked hearing her words blurted out so openly. What if he didn't want to discuss that sort of thing. "Err well there is a future now that we're together and all." she said with an embarrased giggle flushing her white cheeks crimson once again.

"Ohhh ohhhhh~" Minty cooed, batting her eyelashes. "It's okay, I kind of noticed he was a bit lovestruck when he returned recently. I poked at him awhile over it to find out what was up. Nothign wron giwht the thought, it'll happen in it's own time. I just... got lucky... or unlucky... but hey! I'm not complaining. I'm very happy. And Star Candy's very proud I bet." Minty puffed up a bit, all proud of herself and moment, and then deflated, relaxing to something more natural for the mare.
"But i am so very thankful, you have no idea."
Kahaina blushed, thankful for his dark coat masking it mostly. So she ahd been thinking what he'd been thinking... oh boy. Hopefully that expectation wouldn't be too sudden - although the tought of their kids have other foals nearby to interact with was a plesant thought.
He nuzzled Glory then, hoping to calm her fierce blushing. "It's a future that will come of it's own time. But better to be prepared, and ready, and to lend a hand as well."

Glory hid in his mane like a little giddy child as he initiated his nuzzle.
Wavelengths. Friends or foes some might query which she knew always hers and his were connected like the roots to a tall tree.
"Well. Shoot there goes what I was thinking" she laughed with an embarresed giggle. Batting her eyelashes at him playfully her cheeks still held thier warmth from knowing he understood. This experience would prepare them for sure, as their time would annonce itself as Celendria had with her two colts. The thought was pure joy and yet it was a bit scary as well.
"You know I'd do anything to help out Minty. Kahaina wouldn't mind a little pitter patter of hooves hanging about." she smiled returning back from the saftey of the warm thick mane. "Just tell me what I well we have to do."

He chuckled slightly as she 'hid' in his mane, bemused somewhat. "The pitter patter wouldn't be so bad, but I'd not want to rush nature's plans."
Minty watched them, in a slight amount of envy for having osmeone there to snuggle. But, well, she'd see Star Candy again. She'd be sure of it.
"Mostly keeping track... one is an unicorn I believe, soa ltitle help teaching him some unicorn ways would be nice too. I can't expect all of the teaching burnes to rest upon one soul." She chuckled a bit. "But we all rememebr what being a foal was like... which means plenty of running and exploring..." She had a slightly worried and pained expression then.
"Unfortunately we'd had a few... incidents near here. Some thgins lurking the woods, so we don't want the foals wandering out alone and such." He shook his head slightly. "I think there may very well be a skinwalker on the loose near by... at the least we've seen a Kalona every so often." Kahaina snorted, shaking his head.

Glory's ears perked as if a pin had dropped pulling them back slowly with a startled expression. "Skin Walker? Not around here I hope. My I've heard such bad things of what they do." she snorted looking toward the raspberry basket. "No creature like that shall ever get near your foals with me here."
Turning back toward her beloved she sighed loosing the tension that was riding within her veins at the moment. "with Kahaina I mean of course. I'd perfer to stay by his side and not sound sappy doing so." she teased with a big wink.

"Well, extra eyes and someoen who knows when we're not with the father will help. Even with a Kalona on the loose I want to be careful. And ...well, I wan't really raised by other Soquili, I was raised by two-leggers." She sighed slightly, and nuzz;ed the baskets again.
"No matter what it is, it isn't coming near the foals. I'll see to it." He nuzzled her a moment, chuckling quietly. "There's nothing sappy about that at all. And your help is appreciated."

Glory nodded appreciating the offer that was given, though it was a shared event between her and Kahaina anyway. Her heart though beat with the wilds in life longing for her own foals to take care of and nurture. It seemed funny that she'd become a wise adult eventually of a year finally. Kahaina of course had a long way to go but he'd stand beside her till they both could express the nobility that applies with age itself.
"As long as my heart still beats with the wings I'll never see. I vow my own life to protect your child Minty. Its in my best behavior and as I was raised" she smiled quite determined looking more closely at the baskets now.
