Bellite had been pleased to attend the meeting, which turned out to be a rescue mission...which didn’t sound so bad. Besides. She was here with her daughter and her daughter’s girlfriend, and that just meant this was nothing more than a family outing. She could handle a family outing. And with herself and Wavellite, they would be able to keep a close eye on Xenia...which...was more important than she really wanted to admit...and...as she looked around the room and saw that there were a few other corrupts in the crowd, she didn’t think that they would come to any danger...but...if they did.
...Well. Bellite was fully prepared to throw one of them into the path of danger if it meant protecting Xenia. Not that...she thought such a thing would have to happen but...if it did.
She was ready.
The three of them had been able to teleport here under their own steam, which...made the Captain proud. They had all come a long way...and now they would have a chance to do something together.
As a family...and maybe...get some recognition.
Her daughter deserved it, and so did Wavellite.

Wavellite laughed and nudged Xenia, grinning. “Even if something did try to hurt you, you know that I’d do whatever I had to to keep you safe, Xe. Don’t be silly. Nothing in the Rift would even dream to touch you...besides...with such a big group? I bet we’d scare anything off just by the sound of our footsteps alone...there can’t really be anything in there tough enough to take us all on.”
As a captain...she had a sword now. Not...a very good one...but still. It was better than a piece of paper!
“I’ve never been in the rift before...I wonder what it will be like...do you think we’ll save whoever we’re going to rescue?”
Of course they would. That was a silly question, and she knew it. How could such a big group of agents and senshi not complete the mission with a resounding level of absolute success? “If whoever it is is being held against their will, I hope that the rift will take one look at all of us and just...throw them back up. It seems like a fair trade. It’ll save the beasties in there an a** kicking, that’s for sure.”
Perhaps it was silly to be this overconfident just because she had been given a promotion...but...damnit. She deserved to have some confidence in her abilities...didn’t she?

Captain Sylvite
Sylvite nodded at Axinite's information, or rather, his lack of information. Later on, she would probably end up grumbling about how people needed to actually do their paperwork in order for the database to be any help, because she wasn't exactly looking forwards to having to comb the entire Rift without any basic facts about the lieutenant in question to go on. She would do it, though. She'd been the one who had turned up missing once before, back when she was captured, and she was forever grateful that the other agents searched the city until they'd found Order's operations. Now it was her turn. She rolled her shoulders back and stood at attention, quieter than usual as she tried to center herself and get into a work headspace. She turned when she heard someone calling her name and saw a flash of rainbow hair. It was Diesel, her graffiti buddy, and she did smile at him, but without all the usual bubbliness. "Oh hey," she said. "You gonna help us find this dude?" --- Sailor Cybele"There's certainly a lot of us," said Cybele. "I don't think we're expected to know everyone. Some people try. I know Sylvite's all about the making friends, and knowing everyone's strengths and weaknesses. This one is the same, I think." She nodded towards Axinite, who she'd been staring at intently throughout his entire speech. "If there were internal problems, or any of that sort of thing, they'd be the first to know." Cybele paused to take another bite of cheese pastry. "As for me," she said, "I was recruited to collect resources, and to fight." She ran the fingers of her free hand lightly over the cracks at her chest. "It seems inefficient for me to spend too much time on socialization." She finished off her snack before her eyes narrowed in realization. "Isn't the Rift supposed to be especially dangerous for senshi?"

Lellouch
She suppoed he was right in that regards... "True... I suppose more than the rest here." Lellouch shifted slightly when he mentioned the other side. "They can not work as a whole... No. But there are small clusters that work well enough." She did not mention Kerberos, or his slowly increasing collection of lost souls he seemed to be gathering. "That being said... We are no better either. There are quite a few of us that do nothing but bicker. More so that don't work together, if at all."
"Mmm. Don't smother them. You'll do more harm then good... Again.
She shrugged at the loss of the tea shop. It wasn't her forte but he had at least tried. Now he knew better.
Lellouch seemed to ignore her brother, instead focusing on the other General. "You could just... make it so your competition cant keep up.. Be it draining their energy... Or worse." She shrugged, grin still in place. "Or you could have someone else do it. Your preference really."
"The Rift doesn't like senshi, the youma don't... You're fortunate if you don't run into anything beyond that.." She would not mention the potential half youma they'd cross paths with. Her brother would have to learn that on his own.
Corvusite
"You're going to have for forgive me but.. You're likely to find better else well." He'd lost count how many times he had to listen to his father b***h about something at the clinic. Be it from supplies, to the staff, to people not listening to his so called 'orders'. On top of that, the abuse of power, and people in general..." Corvusite sighed, trying to detach himself from that particular convo.
He threw his sister a curious look. "Starseed collecting again, are we? I don't think random starseeds fall on the same caliber as our parents but, I suppose the theme fits..." But then again, he was more then content to pretend they were dead. Corvusite guessed that perhaps Lellouch decided she didn't need to pretend.

Youma Maikoh
Maikoh hummed out an intrigued sound as her glowing irises scrapped assessingly over the whole lot gathered in the meeting room. As a being with seemingly infinite time, Maikoh figured she had nothing to lose by being in attendance. If a General Sovereign called, it was her duty to answer. Besides, if these agents wanted a mission in the Rift, who better to serve as a guide than herself? None of them would know the Rift as she did.
Her tail swayed rhythmically as she eyed the pairs of corrupt senshi that littered the room.
She just wished there were less of them feeling so adventurous as to invade her home when they had no business being in Negaspace at all. They should’ve been killed rather than have something as tantalizing as corruption offered to them. They did not deserve to venture there, for all the problems they’d caused her kind, no matter what side they were on. But that had never been her call to make. She snorted dismissively, rather than grace them with her thoughts any longer.
Her focus turned to one of her newest subjects of interest, a man that was little more than fresh blood to the Negaverse. She’d been pleased to find him among those gathered, despite having only met him once before.
“You’ve never gotten to play with your new friends, mm?” She offered casually, head canted down toward him.
Lieutenant Janggunite
He could hardly believe the woman had found him again. One monster amidst all this agents, one single youma of the surely hundreds- or thousands- that existed, and it had been Maikoh who had found him here. The odds seemed impossible, but was anything? In a world like this?
“No,” Janggunite agreed crisply, arms folded as he lingered away from most others.
With that being said, he wasn’t quite sure how much he wanted to “play” with his new Negaverse friends. Let alone in the Rift. Let alone on an assignment he wasn't sure he was comfortable with. Perhaps if he hadn’t had to come alone it wouldn’t be so bad... But such was not the case. Hardly a handful of moments after he’d received the General King’s message, a second had followed from his General with the expectation that Janggunite would join Axinite’s mission.
Dread. It bubbled up like heartburn.
September had work, so he had an excuse not to show up, but January worked from home, during times that favored late Negaverse assignments. There would be time to sleep when this was done. Anyone should be honored to answer a General Sovereigns request. He should be forging connections when he could. It would be good for him. He should go.
He would go. No room for argument.
His General had teleported him to Negaspace, and Janggunite had found himself here milling amongst the others waiting to set out, keeping his distance and engaging as little as possible. And then this feral woman had found him, not so unlike how she had the first time. She seemed pleased to linger near him, all perked ears and grinning teeth. She’d been very... patient and almost protective that first time, but Janggunite would be lying if he said he trusted any Youma once they were in the Rift, no matter what sort of friendly tendencies they displayed.

Rescue mission...this was going to be a rescue mission. They were going to really get the chance to be heroes. Gismondine looked to Taiyangshou and grinned broadly. “Do you hear that? We’re going to be heroes! We’re going to help save someone! Someone who needs our help! Look how many people would show up...if…” He swallowed and the cookie he had just taken a bite of seemed suddenly tasteless. “If something happened to one of us. People would group up like this to help, don’t you think?”
Should they have grouped up by now to try to find Parisite? Even Yu’s Phone no longer seemed to go to his voicemail. He was worried...and more than a little scared for his mentor. What if...what if he had been killed?
It wasn’t something he wanted to dwell on, but that was the only possibility that kept coming into his mind...and...it made him feel more than a little sick to his stomach. “...If you ever went missing, I’d make sure everyone was looking for you, just so you know...I...wouldn’t let you disappear without anyone caring...If...if you were ever worried about that.”
Since...obviously Gismondine was. Now.

“Aww - Same man! Especially given how we know each other.” Taiyangshou patted Gizmondine’s shoulder. While he also just hoped he’d be useful in a rescue mission, it was pretty cool to see it organized like this. “But…. I will also not let anyone mess with you If I can help it.” he grinned and ‘flexed’, patting his arm as though it were impressive. It was not, but he tried. He furrowed his brow at the worried expression that took over the excitement of being able to try and help someone who needed it. “You going to be ok? I’ll stick by your side ok? I’m not gonna go missing like this dude.”

Quote: You may continue roleplaying in this thread if you have open conversations, but the Battle ORP has begun! You can find all the information on it here! You do not need to post an exit in this roleplay to count for a growth requirement; you can use this RP as long as you wrote 500 words per character. However, ICly all characters will have left this Information ORP at the same time to go into the Rift and search. You may handwave your character being in a group or find one if you want to RP searching, but no character will be permitted to go into the RIft alone during this event.

Captain ChambersiteChambersite had to admit that the Youma had caught his attention. At first he had thought it was a full youma, which was weird, but not unheard of, to be in the room with other Agents. But then it seemed that she, he was pretty sure it was a she, specifically wandered over to another Agent and started to converse with him. Half-youma then. Not something he ever wanted to go through, but if they were happy enough being who they were, then he couldn't argue against it. Still something that he thought should be avoided at all costs. She was conversing with another agent, what appeared to be a Lieutenant, and he decided to wander over to them. Not that he really had anything to say, but they didn't appear to be in a group at least. How to start the conversation though... "You two forming a group?" He asked as he made his way over to them. Well, not he sounded like that loser in class who couldn't find a group to be with. He turned to Maikoh. "I'd be interested to see a Youma Agent perspective in all of this. I haven't met one that I've been able to have a conversation with before." They were both a bit taller than him, but height wasn't everything. "Allow me to introduce myself, I'm Captain Chambersite." He said, holding out his hand, though not expecting a hand in response. One never could. Indigo_Plateau my irl conversation awkwardness seeping in ------------------------------------------------------- Super Corrupt VersaillesHe grinned. Well, Axinite is the head of the Information branch, I would assume it's his job to know everything about everyone if possible. I couldn't do that myself." If he had to choose a branch, it would most likely be General Opeartions. The others were too specialized for him. Information he didn't care about and preferred to scroll through the database if need be, Infiltration was a no, and Special Oprations he had no idea what they did, though he was sure they were part of some sort of secret missions or something. Nah, he would rather just do what he was told, at least for now. He nodded at her question. "Yes... It's why I haven't wandered down there myself. Our best bet would be to get a regular agent who is willing to go with us, or hope, if you're willing to group together, that the two of us can do it ourselves." He had gone in there before, but not without being with other large groups of Agents. As powerful as he assumed himself to be, he didn't want to go and get himself killed trying to prove himself to no one.

Lieutenant CafetiteOh no. This poor woman wasn't suffering a Chaos dilemma. While that was a small relief, it was tempered by the fact that her issues were very real and could happen to anyone regardless of faction. "I'm so sorry," Cafetite said, her tone hushed. She found herself struggling to find something to say immediately, because she'd never experienced a breakup of that magnitude before, but she eventually found something. "I don't think you have to meet a new partner right away. Why not just... start with some new friends?" She paused, silently hoping this wasn't one of those awful cases where the fiancee kept her tied to her and only her. "Oh, I'm Cafetite, by the way. Lieutenant Cafetite. What's your name?" NovaCracker Might quote you in the battle ORP in case you want to send Ferris along with Cafetite! Corrupt Sailor LawsoniteThe lieutenant made a cute (?) little squeak when she hit the floor again. Lawsonite looked to Crocoite's hand, stared at it for a moment, but then finally pulled herself up without much fanfare. It wasn't anything against him; she just wasn't sure she needed his hand to get up. A wry little smile crept onto her face as she caught wind of the dressing down that lieutenant was getting from the very luminescent Captain. Not much made her smile like that. She looked to Carnotite, then back to Jadarite, scrutinizing the latter just a bit. "You look like the sort who has an audience," she said to Jadarite. "Or at least, your glasses do. There is certainly a demographic for glasses girls." It might not have been clear immediately, but Lawsonite was trying to imply something unusually filthy. She'd probably been hanging around Cacoxenite too much, but she wanted to try the dirty little jab on anyway. Corrupt Sailor CacoxeniteCacoxenite gave a short, sharp bark of a cackle at Cala's response. "Hah, really? Well, it was worth a shot." She looked over to what Cala was pointing at, a set of sweets that looked like mutated sticky buns with red candy on top. "Eugh, you've got a point. I get the whole 'someone's gotta be a guinea pig for my newest recipe' thing, but just sliding it in among stuff that actually makes sense? Who do they think they're trying to fool?" Her face scrunched up as she leaned in to get a better look at the mutant candy buns. "There's way too much glaze on those things, and the red candy adds nothing. It's just more stuff to get stuck in your teeth. You don't even have to eat one to see these things." Cacoxenite was unaware that she had such strong opinions on sweets, but she supposed she knew enough to evaluate these things. She was legendarily exacting when it came to following recipes.

Captain ParacelsianParacelsian had gone silent for a moment to track Axinite's information, and his response to Sylvite's inquiry. "Hmm, so, there's no paper trail or data trail at all. This could be a case of either gross negligence- disgusting negligence, really- or the world's most precise file tampering." The former could be dealt with eventually, but the latter was a worrisome case. If there was an agent with such incredible database knowledge that they could slip in, destroy data, and leave zero traces, they needed to be found immediately. When the showy rainbow-haired Corrupt appeared on the scene, Paracelsian noted the lack of usual enthusiasm Sylvite greeted him with. "And who's this?" he asked, trying to sound casual. The Corrupt could introduce himself, or Sylvite could fill him in. Either way was fine. Lieutenant NambuliteNambulite cast a glance over at Painite as she departed. "Hmm, looks like Boss Lady found something else to do." A beat passed. "Yeah, let's go look and see what's over there! Who's got time to make all this, anyway? More importantly, who's got time to eat all this?" He wondered if anyone would mind if he smuggled some home...

Lieutenant CarnalliteCarnallite would likely have the same problem when it came to inadvertently glaring at people.
Although, in her case it probably wouldn’t be inadvertent. She might have a resting b***h face, but she still tended to glare at people on purpose.
She filed the name “Reinerite” away for future reference. Carnallite assumed it would be beneficial to know a competent General, particularly as she’d like to climb the ranks herself. She didn’t care to associate with too many people if she could help it (not right away, at least), but knowing a few influential people who were moderately trustworthy could only be a good thing.
Bloodstone could not be relied upon for everything, whether he wanted to be or not. He was, after all, only a Captain.
For now, they would either search on their own, or keep close to the General King. Being the strongest among them, Carnallite assumed he knew what he was doing, even if she thought he seemed a bit soft for someone with his level of power.
Hopefully that power wasn’t wasted.--- Corrupt Sailor CymophaneCymophane really wanted to hear about Kamacite’s drama with General Jet’s boyfriend.
Why hadn’t Jet mentioned he had a boyfriend??? Obviously that was super important information for Cymophane to be aware of!
Only it wasn’t. But it was interesting. Cymophane was new. He wanted to know everything there was to know about everyone. Surely with a group this big, there was a lot of romantic fraternization going on, and with a group this mysterious, some of it must be amusingly dramatic.
Kamacite seemed as quiet and dutiful as a Senshi as he was as a civilian, and it was always the quiet ones who had the best gossip.
Alas, there were more important things to be done right now.Guine We can consider these their last posts.

Corrupt Sailor Diesel
If Diesel noticed the shift in Sylvite's usual mannerisms, he didn't show it. He grinned at the other pair, rolling his shoulders a bit in preparation as he neared. "Might as well," he said brightly to Sylvite. "Couldn't risk passing, what with this persistent fomo and whatnot. And I've never checked out the Rift before, and it'd be a good chance to see who else is in this crew." There were a lot of reasons not to miss a gathering like this, apparently, least of all that it was just one more excuse to be in his senshi guise.
Diesel gave a quick glance over his shoulder. "And my brother's here, somewhere," he added a bit more blandly, dark eyes roving over the room until he spotted Rakovanite's dark uniform way, way back as far from nearly everyone as he could be.
Ah, probably best to just leave him, then.
He shrugged as he turned back to Sylvite and her other friend, some guy Diesel had no hope of recognizing, and not just because half his face was covered. "I'm Diesel," he introduced himself. "Nice to meetcha." It seemed a little rude for someone to expect his name without even trying to offer their own, but it wasn't like Diesel would ever miss an opportunity to announce himself.
"Looks like we're kinda wrapping up here," he noted as he glanced back at Axinite, and around to see that most people were forming their groups. "I'm sure we'll get a chance to know each other better out there, once we set off."
-----------------
Mauvian Gremlin
The group started moving out.
If Gremlin was going to inconspicuously high-tail it with all the extra snacks he'd gathered, now was probably the moment. Was it pretty much a complete betrayal of Mauvian ways to not be of service to his team? Yeah, sure was. But honestly, what good would it do for him to be out there, anyway? A quick, precursory glance around didn't show any other Mauvians in his immediate vicinity, so it wasn't like any cat besides him had answered the summons...
That did kind of mean there weren't any other guardians out on this assignment who would be able to take the opportunity of being surrounded by a protective squad of agents and a general king to gather any unique resources out in the Rift.
Those bizarre Chaos crystals could power a bunch of their technology, and it was rare to have an opportunity to be able to collect.
Gremlin wasn't at the top of production among Mauvians, but he thought he might like to help them where he was able (not an idiot lieutenant, but other Mauvians? Sure), and this was a service he could provide for him. The stupid captain Lashenite had forcibly introduced him to was even already here, so Gremlin didn't have to try and meet any new people or harass and strangers into protecting him.
It was just because it was such an invaluable opportunity.
With a disatisfied grumble, he stalked around the back of a table, peering between table and chair legs out to where Rakovanite conversed with some bright blue senshi. He would wait until the agent was finished, announce himself, and proclaim that they would go together. Because Lashenite said so. Sure, why not. Sounded believable to him.

Youma Maikoh
Forming a group! Maikoh found it unreasonably adorable for all the young agents to be buddying up to go into the Rift, as if they were precious children on one of their first school fieldtrips. A bark of laughter escaped her as a captain she was unfamiliar with approached with the question, and she shook her head.
"I've no need," she told him. "As I'm not an agent. My name is Maikoh." She reached out a heavy, clawed hand to rest on her lieutenant's head. "This is Janggunite. He was bumbling about in the snow when he was recruited, and I found him. He's lucky to have me." She wasn't expressly in the habit of adopting newbies under her metaphorical wing. They had their captains and generals for that, but Maikoh could barely resist confused lieutenants who'd been left to fend for themselves. She was an excellent teacher and had more experience than many. They would survive and thrive under her guidance.
Her tail swayed.
"If you've no one to go with, rest assured you'll be safe with me," Maikoh told Chambersite. "Join us. I know my own home well enough to look after you two." Despite it not really being her business what became of any agent dumb enough to wander alone into the Rift, she could still hardly resist a General King's summons. And look at all these ickle babies. They clearly needed her.
Lieutenant Janggunite
"Please," Janggunite hummed softly, reaching up to swat Maikoh's monstrous hand from his hand. It was true that he had very little grasp of what was going on or what they were walking into, but he certainly didn't need some Youma woman fawning after him, calling him a "baby" or a "child" in front of everyone else.
...Especially since January was older than most people here.
He extended a delicate hand toward Chambersite, not totally dissimilar to how a princess might. "Janggunite," he introduced himself. "Charmed." For all his uncertainty about the Negaverse and its missions, he'd be foolish if he couldn't at least acknowledge that it was better to have friends here than enemies.
And despite his typical unwillingness to invest heavily in social situations outside of his own family, Janggunite at least knew how to be friendly. "Forgive the youma woman's brazenness," he said. "I think she is well-meaning, though it is hard to say for sure... I'm not so inept as she makes it seem, darling. Though I am a bit greener than most," he admitted. "Have you been with the Negaverse long? Is there any advice you'd give a new recruit like me?"

“Around this many people...in general or like...powered up like this? Because in general, yeah of course. I’ve been to the mall before.” He gave a little grin and was pleased and perhaps a little flustered that Lopezite hadn’t pulled their hands apart. That was nice. Comforting.
“I’m glad that we’re going to help someone..I’ve never been to the rift but...I’m sure I’ll be safe with you there to protect me.” And he would be able to protect himself to a point, which would be good. He didn’t want to have to rely on help for everything after all. “It’s...kind of nice to know that so many people would look for us if something happened and someone realized we were missing. I mean. I’d be sure to get a search party like this together if it were you...ah. Just so you know.”
And he hoped that...the same would be done if it were him. Though…
“I wonder how he knows that this guy is missing? How...can you tell like...what if he just...doesn’t feel like powering up...ah…” Amersite hesitated and his voice lowered to a whisper. “...What if like. He was thrown in there and this General King just...wants to show us what can happen if we’re bad?”
Wow that...was a dumb thought but...now that it was in his head…
He shuddered.
