Description ▼
Eyes: Large, predatory, glowing golden eyes with a slitted pupil. Thick lashes.
Hair: Waist-length brown hair that she keeps swept into two thick braids, with one falling over each shoulder. They are tied with colorful twine and adorned with pale feathers.
Face: The skull of an antlered wolf serves as her face. It has monstrous canine teeth. Note the large, fluffy brown wolf ears.
Skin Tone: Warm bronze with golden undertones. It gets a bit darker/browner at her hands as it moves out to her fingers, as well as around her calves as it moves toward her hooves.
Body Type: Maikoh is fit, particularly around her biceps and thighs/legs. Her stomach is a bit softer. It's hard to do crunches with so many ribs in the way. She is also quite large, standing at 8'2" from hoof to the tip of her antlers.
Clothes: A skirt of feathers held together with a bright blue band.

Physical Abilities ▼
Maikoh's body gives her a handful of immediate battle-ready traits. Many of her vital areas, including her face, neck, and chest are protected by a cage of sturdy bone or dense fur. She has powerful jaws for crunching down on her opponents, with saliva that acts as an irritant to open wounds and exposed skin. Long, sharp claws are good for stabbing, and her antlers can be used for goring, although that is not her preferred method of attack in this form. Her glowing eyes make it difficult for her to fully hide from her opponent in dim lighting, but when combined with her advanced hearing also make it easier for her to locate her prey from further away. She is capable of powerful kicks with her hooves, and the strength in her legs gives her a small speed boost in short sprints. She is also quite loud when she runs.
Magical Abilities▼ Skin Shift
For 60 seconds, Maikoh's humanoid skin peels away, revealing a four-legged amalgamation of a creature in her place. She keeps many of her physical characteristics, including hooved back feet, skull face with antlers, protective ribcage, heavy tail, and clawed front paws, but gains a thick coat of fur. She stands at 4' tall on all fours, and in exchange for fighting prowess (losing out on punching and kicking power), gains more mobility and maneuverability. She can shift in and out of this form on the fly, so long as total time in her second skin does not exceed 60 seconds. This time can be extended while she is receiving her "homeworld bonus" from being in Negaspace or the Rift.
Motivations ▼
Maikoh has extremely limited knowledge of her life before being youmafied. She knows that she must have been powered (though is unsure of the side), or she wouldn't have retained her human intelligence. And she knows she must have been changed very near the introduction of chaos to Destiny City, as few of her kind (that she is aware of) are older than she is.
This is something Maikoh takes great pride in. The vast majority of her human memories are gone, so all she has to hold onto is her time as a youma, and it pleases her to be above average among her ilk. She considers herself a powerful huntress, doing Negaverse work that she was born for; made for. It is her purpose to be a devout servant to Metallia (and the perks of her loyalty please Maikoh greatly). All the morals and fears and uncertainties of being human have long since been sapped out of her. She can't even remember feeling them when she was a new youma. A piece of her even remembers being offended by human activities in her civilian life, and under chaos' influence, the sensation has only ever increased.
She is merciless, vindictive, and vengeful, and a good harvester of both energy and starseeds. She will engage any Order signature that crosses her path. And the uncompromisingly malevolent energy of the Rift has turned Maikoh venomous toward any senshi that stands before her (not just Order).

 Fav. Food ▼ New meats. As a hunter she is always most eager for flesh she's never tasted, like maybe a particularly rare bird or an especially elusive newt.
Hated Food ▼ Asparagus. It smells like farts.
Hobbies ▼
Taxidermy: Maikoh has an avid interest in specimens. Her first acquisition of something new almost always prioritizes experiencing the taste, and this can sometimes result in a specimen that is too roughed up to make a good model (though harvesting the meat and using the skin for taxidermy do not have to be mutually exclusive, if she is careful). But if her first hunt is too messy, the second is always much more calculated to preserve the form of her capture. There are a handful of sculpting and modeling tools she keeps in her home in the Rift. Anything that needs to be replenished, such as clays, stuffing, and eyes, she will pilfer on her own or barter with agents to acquire for her. She is also not above threatening the owners of her favorite shops for use of their equipment, as larger creatures can take months of freeze-drying to be properly preserved, and she will be livid if anything is ruined.
Current News: Despite having no dog in most of the social shenanigans that go on on Earth, Maikoh can't help but be grossly entertained by articles in newspapers and tabloids. She is a bit annoyed at herself for it. She shouldn't care about what politician did who where, or how many fires are burning in some faraway forest. But it's a bit like watching a train wreck she can't look away from. She's not going to do anything for or against what's going on, and she doesn't want to look because it's not important or pleasant. But she can't stop. She can't stop. She does find that she is especially inexplicably offended by people cutting down trees. But why the heck should that matter to her? Maikoh tends to take out her confused frustrations on any available target.
Astrology: 'It will be a good night to hunt.' Maikoh bases a lot of her own personal decisions on what she reads in the stars. While she is beholden to the Negaverse and typically follows most commands she is given, she will argue for tactics and actions that seem beneficial based on the position of the stars and what future the sky predicts. She is also open to doing some loose fortune-telling based on your astrological sign and where certain planets and stars are aligned in the sky, in exchange for your cooperation for any endeavor she may want completed, of course. Her readings can be 'accurate,' to the extent she is capable of doing so, or falsified if she thinks she'll get more out of the deal by making something dramatic up.
Not so much a hobby as it is a quirk: She also likes kites a lot and will go out of her way to steal intricate or pretty kites from children on windy days. She hangs them up in her den amidst her many specimen treasures, as if the kites and her creatures are of equal value aesthetically.
Virtues ▼
Pensive: Time is not of the essence for an ageless youma with only very limited means of dying and even more limited activities they can successfully perform. While Maikoh does of course enjoy going to Destiny City and gathering energy and consuming starseeds and fighting off Order's forces, there are times when this repetition is not enough to mentally occupy her fully. Rather than charging in and mindlessly completing assigned tasks, Maikoh spends the time to observe, think, and discover. She is curious and studious by nature, and with essentially all the time in the world, she is in no rush to brute force her way through enemies. She likes to consider the options for scenarios and even after everything has played out, will wonder 'what if' something had gone differently. A decade of observation and thought have made her a cunning opponent.
Ambitious: Goals. Goals keep people (and monsters) going when there is nothing else to occupy them. Maikoh is very goal-oriented, and she knows that if she doesn't continue pushing for higher and better that she will mentally stagnate. Perhaps there will be time for lazy later in her existence, but right now she wants to get s**t done. She will hunt for specimens until she has them all. She will feed on energy and starseeds until she is strong enough to take down powerful foes without a silly agent's help. When they are all dead and the world has crumbled, she will still remain. While this planet's resources are still available to her, she may as well make the most use of them for the next challenge she'll face.
Proud: Having the capacity for understanding means that Maikoh knows what she once was (to some extent). The details are irrelevant, but she knows she was once fighting in this war as a human with supernatural abilities. And then she was elevated to an ageless, undying, predatory creature (thankfully with her wits still about her, a testament to the generosity of chaos and its queen). Maikoh is proud to stand as a warrior of the darkness and is loyal to chaos because of it. What she is now transcends the scope of what any human (powered or not) is capable of, and it is not something she entertains the idea of changing.
Doting: In with being proud of who she is and her faction, she also has a soft spot for new recruits to the ranks. Maikoh fawns over young or new agents a bit as if they are those children she'll never have, and even though she won't take orders from them, that doesn't mean she's not rooting for them (and watching intently, always watching). Newbies who prove themselves can find that they've earned an encouraging (though sometimes strict and unrelenting) cheerleader who praises accomplishments and admonishes failures.
Flaws ▼
Vengeful: Maikoh has found that despite her wit and strength, there are forces she is not capable of standing up to. Even if she doesn't have to fear death, her pride takes a hit anytime she loses, and humiliation is a cruel influence. Those who dust or outsmart Maikoh have earned an enemy, and she will go to great lengths to get back at those who scorn her. Violence is typically her immediate and most frequent answer, but given time to think and study, she prefers to try things that are more creative, humiliating, and debilitating. She doesn't usually toy with her food, but for those who have hurt her, she prefers to watch them squirm.
Territorial: Destiny City and the Rift are her home range, but Maikoh's aggression isn't triggered by someone simply running into her in either of these areas. However, if she catches a trespasser too close to her den or anyone (even another youma or agent!) prowling around areas she hunts for prey, they'll face an angry youma who wants to get rid of this problem now. Though thoughtful and patient in situations she controls, an unexpected rival on her turf will incite her to act swiftly and brutally. Also, those newbies she's been doting over? Yeah, those are hers, and if she catches one in a bind, she'll intervene with a viciousness that is only quelled by her opponent's demise or by dusting her.
Rough: Because Maikoh doesn't concern herself with her own life, she sometimes misjudges the type of care that needs to be taken with others'. She can accidentally be too rough during the collection process of her specimens in her enthusiasm (once they have been captured and subdued, she is usually much more delicate). She can give good or 'false' advice in order to learn and not realize how detrimental it could be. And when her rookies are on the field (or being scuffled by her), she can mistakenly watch for too long instead of intervening in a fight with the enemy, or likewise be too adamant with her own attacks and cause more injury than she meant. She is apologetic when she makes these mistakes with one of her own, but still can't seem to grasp what exactly is too much when she is riding high on adrenaline.
Picky: Maikoh is selective with everything and everyone she wants. With her specimens she is meticulous and careful, and if one is ruined, she will toss it out to find something better. With new lieutenants, she cares only for the ones who work to achieve greatness. After all, they have to prove themselves before she is willing to protect and nurture them. Captains and generals who command her can expect Maikoh to heavily resist orders from people who aren't as smart as she is. If something isn't good enough for her, she has all the time in the world to wait for something that is, and she will do just that.
