The letter from Amityville was in her hands at last. She was nervous, but the letter couldn't bite if she didn't open it. Seconds and seconds and then minutes and then finally she simply closed her eyes and tore it open.
The paper was thin and simple and trembled in her hands. To Ms. Kamali Blacke. We are pleased to inform you--
The paper shook too much from her relief; she could barely read it anymore.
"So!" She raised her mug of soda with a brilliant grin. "How's about we have a toast?"
"For what?"
"Our one month anniversary of course!" And he gave her an odd look that made her question if perhaps she should tone it down a bit. But she would be excited, because most of her attempts to date lasted maybe two weeks, and maybe that was her fault, but maybe she could also be excited about one lasting twice that long for once too--
"I protected you all this time. Do you remember why?"
...she smashed down the dam. Just let them try that again!
This place was filled with so many things Gwyn had never seen...
She gave the vest to the goddess.
She left her lake to see new things and to try to find her mother.

It was not 'empty' from 'forgetting', no. It was 'empty' from 'not having anything'.
But this is his promise. His resolve. "For I am the one who protects. I shall not sacrifice others if by my self the offering would be completed!"
He grasped the lock around his neck tighter, trying to pluck it off and a myriad of color bursts out from it.
Those was smaller then the seven coming out first--- But he knows. They are what he and 'Eir' collected.
Blessings.
Each of it was tied with his own memories. Giving it up would be equal to forgetting those memories...
But he was prepared.
He has matured from what he was...a 'shadow' at the start of the journey. No-it might be more precise if it was put as 'rediscovering himself'.
Because I am me. I have made my choice, and it has been proven. Even if I became another 'me' who forgets about myself---my true self, the promise has been engraved deeply into my 'soul'.
I will not forget. No. I might forget, but only temporarily.
For as long as there are ones who needs to be protected, my soul will instantly revive that promise!
"They didn't make ones like this now, so if you didn't feel confident, you can always pass. Either that, or you will be known as the one who broke the last vacuum tube amplifier~"
"Be careful! You almost soldered your fingers unto that circuit board, didn't you realize that?"
"Man, you just broke the door! How was your shoulder? But we must be quick---"
"You have cancer. It was unfortunately at the late stage. If your hearing was not impaired by the pressure it gave to the Auditory Nerves we'll never know it was there."
"Yes, like that. Creating a circuit board by yourself is exciting like drawing a portrait, didn't it?"
"At best this ancient thing will be a scrap metal. We can't do anything more since the central hub is damaged and finding a replacement is impossible---it has been more than 12 years since the closing of the production line..."
"You can't leave me, Danny! You cheat-didn't we promise should one of us is cured, they will care for the other one!? The medication is working, dammit! Just hold on a little more!!!"
"Ah. This is for the best. At least the police wouldn't know that child..."
"Rei honey. You are my child. Our child. The best treasure ever given to us."
"DON'T YOU DARE DO THAT! BEFORE HE WAS A PARTICIPANT OF THIS DRUG TRIAL, HE WAS ALSO A PATIENT! IF YOU DARE TO ERASE HIS NAME FROM THE LIST---I'LL DROP OUT FROM THIS EXPERIMENT!!!"
"Should one of us is cured first...then he will be caring for the other one until they both are healthy!" "-then we can go to this 'scrapyard' you always tells me about!"
"HAHHAAAA~~!" "WHA-It's dangerous, Rei! Get down from that tree right now!!!"
"I am so small compared even with this tree..."
"Don't worry. I will always be on your side."
"So if I cracked the site and let those things to be known, would you SHUT YER TRAP!?"
"No. I won't step down. At least...I want to die free of cancer."
"Syalalala~ Duududududum---mom! Knock first! I'm bathing right now!!!"
"I'll be the first patient who is cured by this medicine. And with that as proof, many more will be cured as this formula published. See, Danny? Even if we can't avoid death, we can still save more people."
"No. I will take the treatment. It was better trying then slowly dying, right?"
"Wait...I'm blue? And glowing?" Am I a...ghost?
Thump-thump. Thump-thump. Thump-thump. So this is how a life near ending sounds like. There's a certain beauty...heck. What are I'm thinking?
"No! I will not stop running! At least this last egg can still be saved!"
"So you have returned to your 'home', lil' blue bird. Good for you. *sniff* "
"Hey, watch the feathers! You're shedding it everywhere!"
"Mom? Right now...I'm the happiest person in the world. Not many people can find a magical headphones, right?"
"I cannot stay in your house for too long. Even if I needed Fear to survive, I can't risk you being persecuted for having me."
"No. I will not give up. Do what you like to him, and my answer is still no." STOP! WHAT ARE YOU SAYING, ME!?
"So you killed him just because he did something GOOD!?"
"My fate is to be alone. So there would be never another person---being---who shares your fate. Goodbye, my friend."
"So...you are Excalibur?"
"...I haven't had so much hatred against someone before. At least, before becoming a ghost."
"Hey...what are those called? Wisps?"
"No. I will not hold back against the likes of you!!! [R.R.-OD]!!!"
"So let me get this straight. I'm a ghost who is half human, half-machine? THAT DOESN'T MAKE SENSE!!!"
"Sleep well, birdie. You'll need that."
"So this is a constrictor boa---it was heavy and...err, teacher? It kinda wrapped my body. Help?"
"NO NO NO NO NO! Put out the fires first! And then you can collect your consoles!!!"
"I will not lose to the likes of cheaters like you guys! Even if I used garbage as base material!"
"So, we are friends now?" "-for life. At least that would be a short time, was it not?"
"Kick, kick, punch! Half a circle kick punch special combo!!!"
"I challenge you....for a game of Minesweeper!!!"
"My only 'battle' ability are left inside RPGs!!!"
"Consolidate the electrons on the air using Fear. This is my special ability---[BS/OD]!!!"
"So, you are alone? What a coincidence, small one. For I am the same."

It was a beautiful leather cover, slid over a perfect blade, the best weapon he'd ever owned, only now it would never have its companion knife again. Brash decisions meant that he'd had to dispose of the knife. No one understood how important it had been to him, of the accumulate memories and echoes tied to possessions. It was all he had left of the steel line between himself and death. The world had crumbled, they'd lost everything. They were scrabbling for the last vestiges of what they had. The truth was that it all hinged on this. The grail. Its strange guardian fallen by the wayside, sparkling mementos of victory scattered on the ground. A new weapon! Maybe he could finally make a difference, change things and finally be free of the oppressive fog that surrounded all things. Remember your promise. He'd promised to give up everything, and here he was. He'd defeat the goddesses and become greater than any of them. He ran from the pursuer because he was strong. He turned and faced them down because he was stronger.
Side Blessings
The enormous sand centipede cried its anguish to the sky and fell to the earth. The strike hit and he'd have been dead if it wasn't for Tracey absorbing it. The entire field was filled with shadowlings. He wasn't afraid. It was a buzz. "You'll always be my son." Surely a couple of grand was nothing to ask for a wedding? Every time they remembered something the goddesses made them forget all over again. When you climbed high enough, there was sunlight up there above the fog line. It was freedom. The crystals spread and spread, encasing everything in their power. He could just not sleep. Not sleep for entire weeks at a time. Was that Japanese he was singing in? Julie's shield held off the assault with immense capabilities, set as she was alongside Allan in the moment. Nothing mattered anymore. There was nothing to live for, he was set to give up. The lava consumed him as his golem made one ******** mis-step and sizzled to a crisp. She fell. Defeated to the training field. He'd never been more satisfied in his life. He'd beaten her this time. But he'd never really win. Not really. Unshielded, the old woman died in a scatter of gore. He was forged in the fires of hatred, pure and simple. "Ironshare" he said. He went with them then. And never looked back. Up and up and up he went until he felt like he might never come back down. And after the phoenix was gone, all that was left was the sun and the sky. He fell like a nightmare. Her arm lay on the ground. The feathers were made of steel. He ran and ran until they could hurt him no longer. He was not afraid. He played long into the night. It was the best meal he'd ever eaten. The skies never cleared here. Fighting was what he did. He wanted all of them to bleed. He'd been his best friend. "I wasn't lying to you, it wasn't her." He'd never seen weapons like it. "I want weapons like you too." She let them all in but never let them close. He was cold, so cold it ran to his very bones. The zodiac creatures were their protectors. They'd never listen to him. Jerry and Rin looked disappointed. He tried and tried and never got anywhere. The cuff limited everything he did. Sometimes all you needed was a pick me up. He thought angels weren't real. Every day was a fight. Oh ******** how he hated snakes. All it took was a kind word.

The man rubbed his chin, looking at the girl. "I thought we already recruited you. You have a twin or something?"
"Alaska!"
"Yeah, knew it was some state name. So you're Nevada. We don't get twin hunters often. You want to join?"
Yes...Yes to be with her sister yes.
"We are the greatest!" Nevada hugged Stormy, glad that their promo had ended. "Greatest Mist Intermediate hunter sisters ever huh?"
She had been in a coma for two weeks, and almost given up on herself. She was better than that. She fought through the dark already, she was already strong.
She could be stronger if she just woke up.
Nevada watched her sister play, enjoying the piano. Unlike her twin, she was no good at the instruments and rather preferred the free spirited of dancing. With each chord Alaska spun on the piano, Nevada gave a small turn or dip in return. Twins in harmony.
"A lot of girls don't call me handsome. More like cute. Like a puppy or something." Otto said, holding her hand in the aquarium. Nevada blinked, looking over at him, a small thrill racing up her.
"I can call you handsome whenever you want." She teased, hoping he wouldn't mind.
"Drinking from it?" Nevada took the cup, feeling herself disappear and replaced with a new hunter form. "What am I doing here....??"
Her mind had floated away, to wonderland. When it returned, it sheathe itself back into her body, along with the memories of letting go and turning away from darkness. She wouldn't let it leave again like that.

He forgot what it was like to ride the roller coaster when he was exploring.
He forgot all of his losses against the creatures.
He forgot the many times he had failed against the machine in the Forge.
He forgot how many times he had worried about Koala during battle.
He just plain forgot what it was like to travel through the Forge area.
He forgot the times his attacks had failed and he had been hit with no protection.
He forgot the task that lead him to face an opponent of great strength and still lose.
He forgot when he sacrificed the heart that belonged to Derek.
They were together, though not...really. They were just sharing the same space. Even then, it made a feeling swell up in his heart, a warm, pleasant sensation. He felt great.
"Take this. You'll need it sometime, I bet." The gift was wordlessly tucked into his bag, and Elium nodded.
Things would be better when he got to Amityville. They had to be. It wasn't going to be like it would out in the land his wing roved across-- It was a place full of opportunity, and all he could feel was hope.
He'd taken the grail with such surety, downing the pleasantly cool liquid within--and something had changed. It was right, natural; but at the same time, it wasn't something natural to him.
The kill was done, quick and clean. He sheathed his knife, a heavy feeling wrapping itself around his heart and dragging it down to the pits of his stomach.
He couldn't forget the way his shadow had twisted and slithered behind him in that tunnel. It wouldn't leave his mind.
They moved away from the rest of the caravan, the cleric clearly bearing bad news by the somber way he moved. "I am sorry to be the bearer of this, but..."
He dug his claws into the prisoner Rotted's chest, going deeper and deeper with each passing second--and then the carving began. Revenge. He hadn't been a part of the battle, but the outrage wasn't limited to the combatants.
"Elium, you know what you must do. It is your time to become Chosen, and--" "But what if I've changed m'mind? If I don't wanna join in with the cult?"
He was starting to get really good at this glider thing, he thought to himself. The feeling of practically walking on air--it was like nothing else he'd experienced.
There was no way Elium would be able to break free of this thing's hold before it was too late. He held his bag and scissors in an iron grip, realizing after a moment just what he can do with those sharp blades--
He was fighting the Guardian for the first time, on his own. The fight had begun.

Having collected the necessary items, Shun pieced them together, forming the red daggers that were Agony's Twin. Fully formed, he gripped them in his hands. They felt right.
He had finally found that damn hunter. He would kill her. At any cost.
Shun didn't really know these people. They kept showing up whenever he got into a fight. But, he didn't mind too much.
"Hey friend!" the purple haired boy spoke. Friend? Shun supposed so.
Climbing up the dragon, he soon stabbed down into its skull with both blades.
Somehow, Shun managed to not die as he bolted up the final tower thing within the Forge.

"OH MY GAWD!" NOW she dropped the weapons. "Oh Lord! Dr.H was lying! I'm not sane! I'm totally insane! I'm hearing voices! Guns are talking to me! M-maybe its a bad dream..!" She paused before slapping herself on the cheeks. "Wake up, wake up!"
:Insensitive b***h! Pick me up! How dare you leave me on the floor!: "Superior my a**! I'll make a trade--I bet you need this--" she waved the security tag for him to see before continuing. "--I don't care much for my freedom, but I do want that coat your wearing. Its cold in here. The goggles also stay with me." Folding her arms, she leered at the boy again.
"Bow down, knave!" "Oh you have got to be kidding me.." Sure enough, Allan just loved to make their lives a living nightmare, as the portal was set up in one of the worse places imaginable. She thought that the con people were bad enough, but their..waste was even worse. "Oh my gawd.." "Sure, I'll clean your shirt for you. In the toilet. I'll even put it on 'spin cycle' for you. Now drink." She replied, shoving the drink towards him. On the bright side, after this was all done and over with, Otto would be able to put this awful bit of business behind him. Kat would. ".....Right." Coughing to hide her embarrassment, Kat raised her weapons once again, which she hoped was for the last time, and shot the otaku ghost. "I did hit it this time..right?"
Apparently, checking her contact information while on camel back was a bad thing to do, as the paper was snatched out of her hand and eaten by said camel. "...Damn you..!" "Hey, if you guys don't mind, I might call on you later. Bandits are pissing me off. Feel free to do the same if you need my assistance." "Gosh darn it, just die already, will you?" She shouted, firing another shot.

"For someone who has done so much, you sure get defensive over conversations such as these." She shot back. She hadn't even mentioned that she was talking about him, which made it all the more amusing to the doll when he tried to defend his actions. She knew you too well, Tybalt. "I'm sorry.. I wish I could offer some sort of advise on the subject, but.. I'm afraid I'm no better for it." She offered a weak smile, squeezing Sammy's shoulder lightly. She knew some of her friends were angry with her for choosing to defend hunters, but she had yet to encounter them since that battle. That was going to be eventful, she was sure. But, she was not displeased with her choices. If they could just see, what she knew about the horsemen, then maybe.. "It is a big deal Fell! Trust me.." Ah, she knew from experience.. if you didn't do the work, it would definitely effect you in the long run. "How do you expect to pass your exam if you don't know how to answer the questions?" It might be boring work, sure, but that was a small sacrifice to pay if she wanted to get through this school. Turning to leave, she glanced over her shoulder at the two before starting towards the portal again. "You two stay safe as well. If we're lucky, we'll be able to meet again under less stressful circumstances." With that, she gave the two a wave before departing. "Expect a call if I find anything useful!" Without a word, she wrapped her arms around him burrowing her face into his shirt. It felt like ages since she had last seen Bul. He had been busy, she knew this, but still.. "I missed you."
"You and I are a perfect team, Hunchback!" The doll cheered again, patting her steed on the head. "Perfect!" Staring, she watched as the black dog ran off. "Weirdo.." How was she even supposed to fight with a chair? Why was she fighting with a chair?
The first time she met Roland, it had been after a spar. Well they had met during the spar but really got to know each other afterwards. He had been warm, so she had used him as a body heater as well as cuddly buddy.
They'd become fast friends after that.
The slap of the weapon across her face hurt more than any words he had ever said before. The shock and shame that she had allowed it....It stung her and degraded her. For the briefest moments...She turned her heart from him. She went cold. She hated him.
It had been after the apology, from both of their ends. Roland wanted a second chance. She couldn't allow it for either of them. Instead of a compromise, both of them let go and stepped away. Both of them a sweet sorrow of goodbye.
An tinier form than hers, but just a strong. A gentle hand to pull her out of the darkness.
"Stormy."
It had been so long, so long since she felt hands. Since she felt heat. Since she felt it pool so deep inside her that it was thick and heady and needy.
Until it boiled over, until it crashed and melted with Tuck. It was wrong, but it was right. She didn't need it but she craved it. This heat, the molten feeling. She never wanted to let it go.

The school councilor had chosen her to go to Amityville. It was such a honor to be invited to a prestigious school like this. Not to mention a relief.
She lifted the rock in her hands, tightening her grip until it shattered. She grinned, realizing her new abilites
Such a view! She could see the end of the world from here!
THIS THING WAS WAY TO HOT
She shuddered at the sight of the many corpses, wondering what had done this to them
The roller coaster roared down, and force on her body a exhilarating feeling.
She couldn't bear to see her suffer anymore. Pokerus raised her blade, ending the figures suffering
