Ruse needed a change of pace, and so returned to the large cliffs upon the edge of the world, picking a glider and setting it up. In no time at all she was sailing through the sky, her course set straight ahead. There was no comforting voice giving her courage though, instead all she heard were the angry shouts of one who believed she was trespassing on holy ground. As if before wasn't bad enough, she felt sick to her stomach with fear. She was well away that if she let go, if she let her guard down, she would be sent plummeting into the ocean below. Just what she needed. Her emotions changed from fear to strength, the courage surging through her and allowing her to continue forth through the air. Her glider pass over the edge, watching the water fall beneath her into the void below. A spectacular sight, but she didn't dwell on it long as she saw the island were coming closer. Ruse moved her glider over a wind draft, the air forcing the glider upwards and fling her just that much closer to her destination. After a few minutes of careful ascent, Shaw found himself back at the glider shack again. He entered, this time picking one shaped like a great heron. With a heavy sigh, he approached the crane one he'd used earlier. Old faithful, and all that. Ruse wondered if she could find herself some sort of jacket before she came out here, as she always was left freezing from the cold blasts of air at her body, the dam fog adding extra moisture and making things just that much more colder.
