And just like that, they were dead, sprawled around and decimated by his attacks. He felt good. Very good, and climbed ever onwards to the reward he knew lay at the end of his trek.

Feeling pretty confident that this time she would get it accomplished with her new weapon, Annabell wasted no time in hurrying on toward the steps. And that meant she wasted no time in getting smacked in the head with a rock. Ouch!

Undeterred, if mildly hurt, the girl kept on until she got her foot stuck. That deterred her for a while.

Ixb hadn't visited any of the extra areas. He'd gotten so caught up in battling and his own memories, to really venture very far. He found it was time to change that and began the ascent. He didn't mind the height really.
