Lee stopped and looked around as he decided against what he had been doing and instead took a moment to monitor the battles as best he could searching for someone to go against. He found a lone signature that Tetsunosuke had seemingly just abandoned however that could have just been his imagination. Either way leaving a Sephira unattended was not a good idea. It didn't take long for him to decide that she was beyond him in power however that didn't mean he was about to back down. Removing his released zanpakuto again Lee held it out in front of him looking at his reflection in the blade for a minute or two. Having a silent conversation with his spirit it wasn't long before he kicked off the ground and moved towards the Sephira. As he moved towards her his thoughts went to possible outcomes to the battle. Whether he could defeat the Sephira or not was currently up in the air. However he had no intention of dieing and if things went sour he had a back up plan. Looking down at the tekkō on his arms for a few moments he let out a quiet sigh. As he entered the area by the Sephira he made sure to stop within plain sight of her air walking about ten feet off the ground. Taking in the sight of Neida Lee held his zanpakuto loosely at his side ready to swing it up. "I guess I will be your opponent Sephira. Let's get things over with."

Dashing towards her Lee swung his katana up though it would quickly become apparent that he was not actually trying to hit her given it was still several feet away from her. As the swing came up however there was water around the blade and trailing it that was released in a wave of water that quickly traveled the rest of the distance between them. "Mizusaki." Using the wave as a distraction Lee turned his attention towards the ground beneath Neida. "Bakudō number thirty-seven Tsuriboshi." A star shaped cushion of energy appeared beneath Neida though instead of anchoring itself on the surroundings like usual the 'ropes' of spiritual energy instead sought to wrap around her arms, legs, and midsection. The ropes wouldn't be all that powerful and therefore wouldn't hold her long however with luck it would hold her long enough for the next thing to take place. At it's best the ropes would hold her long enough and perhaps pull her towards the cushion to act as a net and capture her. Using shunpo he moved directly above her and held his hands out in front of him to prepare for the upcoming hadō. "Hadō number eighty-eight Hiryūgeki Zoku Shinten Raihō." After the words were spoken the the gigantic electrical blast shot down towards Neida. After the attack Lee stood there waiting for her to react and see what exactly if anything actually hit.

Suzume Yuuki, Fourth Seat of Division Three

User Image

Suzume watched as her Hadō had worked, even if it didn't do the exact damage that a Lieutenant could have done. She had five more pieces of paper, and only eight more attacks for Hakushi, Hadō. She could go to defense, which could be useful against a beast like this Sephira was. Suzume nods as she listens to her zanpakutō's spirit, "Hakusi, Bakudō." She smiles to Akane, and waits for the overgrown Sephira to come. She didn't know much on what it could do, but had seen a little before that one guy had to leave. She could feel the Sephira already coming back, and was surprised he had rebounded so quickly. Suzume takes a stance that leaves her right hand in easy motion to aim for an object coming straight ahead.

Suzume's eyes widen as she sees the speed of the shell-like object and watches him come straight for Akane and her. "No, no time for a Bakudō," she looks to Akane, watching as he raises his blade in a defense from Jacques. She sees Jacques release himself and bring his arm back to piece Akane. She begins to run to get in front of him before she uses a shunpō, "Akane!" She spreads her arms and closes her eyes; seeing only the Sephira trying to pull back. The pain in her chest rages as soon as it hits. She knows a few ribs have been broken, and that the pain dulls as soon as the Sephira pulls the spine out. She falls to her knees and then forward, watching as Jacques slowly walks back.

The embers are dead

Taking note of five-- or rather four after one of them was burnt-- images of his opponent scatter around, Arian assumed that all three of them were fakes and the real one hid among them. His opponent was most likely going to use them as a distraction to create an opening, unless Nu had some hidden attack that utilized illusions. However, he began to doubt his assumption when he noticed that only three images were sent to attack him, one of them remained behind, noticeably exhausted.

Was she planning on distracting him long enough for her to recuperate? No, rather did she even need resting? From Arian’s viewpoint, she didn’t get struck by his Inferno; otherwise no amount of rest would heal her now. Could it be due to her numerous assaults then? Hardly, the number of attacks she had performed pale in comparison to their last battle.

Several thoughts swirled through Arian’s mind, before they rested on one single word, or rather object, her mask. He guessed that perhaps her mask taxes a great deal of stamina from the body. It would explain why she was tired, but it wouldn’t explain why she sent three illusions to distract him, as from what he knew they couldn’t harm him one bit so it was pointless. As such, he assured himself that his first assumption was correct; the real Nu was still hidden amongst her illusions.

Now having guessed at least part of his opponent’s intentions, Arian switched to his Berserker mode, consuming his own Aura of Fire to raise his already massive constitution even higher at the expense of robbing him of most of his attacks. Though he knew the concept of attack, he didn’t know the exact details, as to where she would strike or him, how or when. And even so, he wagered that he’d be too slow to even parry it. Standing still his vision was filled by the first image as its attack accelerated towards his neck, perhaps this was the real one as an attack towards the neck would prove to be quite debilitating if not outright fatal. However, he also noticed the emergence of another clone, near his nether regions, yet another debilitating strike, perhaps the most debilitating of them all. He winced to think what would happen if it were the real one, surely his opponent wasn’t as desperate as that.

However, he wasn’t willing to take any chances, and began to move his sword in a swinging arc to strike the assailant. Despite his massive endurance a strike to the crotch is quite painful for any man, and he wasn’t about to let that happen. However, due to this slight panic Arian overlooked the fact that only two images have appeared, another one has yet to reveal herself, and he still possessed one critical opening. Before his sword could strike the illusion, his opponent’s strike made impact on his back, dangerously near his backbone. If it weren’t for his Berserker mode he’d most likely be unconscious or worse dead by now. But even so the attack sent waves of pain throughout Arian’s body, causing his pupils to dilate and his eyes to widen.

Panting from the pain, Arian noticed the formation of a black box around, most likely a spell of sorts to either bind him or strike him. Irritated at himself for having left such a crucial opening unguarded, Arian waited for the black box to enshroud him or at the very least his left arm. Once it was hidden in the near impenetrable darkness of the coffin, Arian pierced the hard leather in between his gauntlet’s pieces of armor, cutting into his flesh using brute strength and drawing out a trickle of blood before the wound quickly closed itself. Before the spell could completely envelop him, Arian blasted an extremely potent Gran Rey Cero from his hand before opening a condensed Garganta in front of it and in front of Nu, happening in less than a second. This led to the Gran Rey Cero blasting forth from behind him due to the Garganta passage that was created, most likely catching his opponent by surprise.

[What's that? It's a Slowposter! Catch it! D8<]

She watched him carefully without trust in her hidden vision. Her calm demeanor showed that she knew she was stronger than him and instilled confidence in herself. To say the least, this Vizard was considerably annoying; he would not stop talking about his friend and kept making comparisons between her and him. When he bowed, she was slightly astonished, but also at the same time, offended. "I hope we do not either." She said after he said his departing words. After he used a skilled Flash Step, she turned from where she was watching him and started to walk down the alley way. Her brown hair trailed her as she took each step with her bare feet.

As she had only walked a few steps, a Shinigami's presences was felt close to her. She stopped and looked in the direction from which it was coming from. It seemed like she was drawing foes like a flies to a pile of dung. As he came to be visible finally, he was Air walking about ten feet off the ground, starring her down. Alas, another male... he was about the same height as the last one, but so much skinner. His black hair was another feature she could tell about him, but his eyes weren't as visible from where she was. This Shinigami's Haori had longer sleeves, which encompassed his arms fully and even his regular uniform, he had a calm persona about him as he looked down at her, almost gauging her strength. The way her unsheathed his sword hinted that he was preparing for battle. As his blade was held to the size of him in a lax manner, he began to finally speak to her.

"I concur... Shinigami." She held her head up high enough to look at him and be able to retort an attack when needed. She would noticed he premature reading of his attack, in which she would hold her ground and wait for he would do. Finally, she saw the water swirling around his sword like an aura, but tangible. She moved her finger to his midsection and made a small incision that did not bleed. She followed with a Sonido that would lead her to the top of a wall, and then air borne, but she was suddenly wrapped in something, being held back from her next Sonido, she looked to see that a Bakudo had caught her and ensnared her. Using her Pesquisa Diligente after being caught and remaining calm, she was able to know that Lee was above her now, which she immediately followed with using her Rápida Garganta. She was able to disappear in her specialized Garganta, taking the Bakudo spell with her. She would reappear just a few milliseconds after the Hado crashed into the wall, sending debris every which way. A dirt cloud would mushroom up toward the Shinigami as some of the wall had been turned into fine sand. Within the few seconds she had reappeared again and wasn't bound by the Bakudo; she rose her left hand and pointed her finger toward him, -she was at least a yard away- "Cero Huelga." The small in size beam would travel with a velocity comparable to other Cero's. It would have a swirling affect around it, but the pen size that it was, would make it unable to be seen. If were to strike, the attack was aimed for his heart; as it entered the cloud, the cloud would swirl into itself, almost like a vacuum effect. As it traveled, objects were drawn to it, and if close enough so would Lee.

Get it out of my face

Ori was chewing the side of his cheek as his many spear descended towards Yuki. He figured that she would retaliate easily with such a broad attack. Ori was still trying to figure her openings, of which there were not many, if any. Her movements, however, were being kept track off. The mannerisms of her many attacks were being logged in Ori's mind, he would not fall for the same attack twice, at least if it was not changed in its over all method of delivery, in which case he would obviously work around it. With Yuki's finger directing his eyesight, Ori watched her create vacuum pockets that would both protect her and return his attack at him at rushing speeds. What did not aid in that movement was the active explosions ensuing repeatedly from each and every one. As it climb towards his body, Ori lifted his right hand and clenched a fist before flicking it to an open palm shortly after. With this movement, Ori created a constantly converting orb around his body, in the form of a sphere with a diameter of 8 feet. This met the coming cloud of blackened particles with a zone free of anything but the mixture of Air, of which the solid smoke particles and fire were changed to.

Coming to much of Ori's surprise, however, was a strange feeling that took over his body. When it first hit his conscious, he was not entire sure of what it was, but it felt incredibly odd and out of place. It all clicked when he was forced to move his arms behind his back, something that had the feeling of his blood surging in that direction, and felt Yuki's reiatsu in front of him. He grimaced, baring teeth at the newly formed image of Yuki within the smoke in front of him. Ori had since began to shrink the orb of conversion around him not a few seconds before she came up, thus the smoke had enveloped her physical body in a mask of black cloud. Just as Ori caught glimpse of her image, his head was forced back so his eyes were skyward. His thoughts were racing, however he was not without safety precautions. Ori had no way of knowing of anything that Yuki was doing out of eyesight, but he did, however, know that she was doing something powerful due to seeing the smoke moving towards her position. To at least fortify his own body, he changed his bones to Titanium Steel, with a hollow marrow-like net of metal within them.

The only thing that aided in negating some of the effects of the attack upon him was his Minte de Metal. As Yuki would unleash her fortified hadō, a panel of Titanium Steel would form in its path, and though it would brake behind the pressure, it would allow for some backlash from the explosion back to Yuki. It hit Ori in a few places, but as it had just begun to collide with him, he regained control of his motor functions and executed a Sonído, letting a low dum mauled in the sound of the explosion and appeared on the ground, looking up towards Yuki. Most of his right torso was nothing but the Titanium bone, and his left shoulder was the same. He then underwent regeneration and within 3 seconds the area was repaired with freshly 'made' cells. Moving his right hand to his forehead, Ori sighed. Ori had wanted to save this technique for her bankai, however if he wanted to win it was go big or go home, in some sense.

Ori mumbled the beginning of his technique in a monotonous groan, "Corp Plin de Fortificare..." Ori took a few steps forward before clenching a fist with his left hand and slammed his right foot into the ground, cratering it and shooting him upwards, "Cicatrizare Foc." As he reached his destination in front of Yuki, Ori's body combusted into a roaring 2200°C blue flame. His eyes were of pure white and his armor was all but smoke in the air. Lifting his right hand out to the side, he formed a scythe of the same type of flame and around 6 feet long grasped it, though it seemed as if they, his hand and the pole of the scythe, merged to one body. Not batting an eye, Ori was gone from sight when he appeared behind Yuki and off to the right slightly, his left hand facing Yuki's back, and his right hand holding his scythe in a forward facing position, the blade pointed in Yuki's position. He was around 5 feet behind her and he changed the air around her into a floating prison by creating a cylindrical tube of Titanium Beta C around Yuki, closing it at the top and the bottom. Just as it would formed, Ori swung his scythe towards the cylinder, the blade carving through the metal like butter due to its heat. Ori was rather curious to see Yuki escape his attack, as he knew most of the shinigami would not be able too.

[Not an auto hit. I said it went towards the cylinder and that it carved through the metal, not Yuki. So yeah. = 3='.

Also, before everyone goes "Haha. It says Foc." its pronounced "See-kat-tree-zar Foh". Spanks.]

User ImageCho waved off Shiruba's mumblings as she allowed herself to be pushed away by the Sephira, landing on her feet lightly. As Kazuma pulled his own trigger, gun to his head, the spirit was already thinking that he would not be committing suicide on the battlefield. It must have been his own way of going that extra step in his efforts to beat them. She kept her eyes open and trained on his movements as she stayed sensitive to everything else through her four other senses. It was unnerving, the sound of glass but she gritted her teeth and endured it as well as the gaseous formation to see what he was really planning for them. Finally, he chose to set his swords aflame and strike Shiruba and her simultaneously. Without losing a beat, Cho took a sidestep out of the blazing blade's pathway before taking to the skies. From there, she was able to view how well her assumed battle partner was faring against the other man. It seemed that he had managed to pierce him somehow.

"Baka," she called at him, hovering fifteen feet overhead, "my turn, please." Hopefully, he would take the hint and move out of the way as quickly as was humanly possible. The next few moves on her part had to happen within quick succession and she could not have the poor boy dying because of her. Her fingers flew across the palm of her right hand, writing hastily yet well the kanji for 'bound' there. Once she had finished the last stroke, Cho swept in closer to Kazuma's form and while in the air, positioned her body as if she were doing a normal straight punch. Of course, she was not. "Tsubasa Sentou Ki: Toruneedo Sutoraiku Ha Hidari!" As the words left her lips, she sent the force of decompressed winds through her left fist towards the Spehira's chest, the general area of his injuries. Not even five minutes later, she performed Tsubasa Sentou Ki: Toruneedosutoraikuraito and did a kick with her leg in the Sephira's direction, sending yet another wave of wind at him to complete her offence of less than a minute. If all of that did not get rid of him, she would have to ask Shiruba against all odds to leave them alone and fetch Lee-Taicho if he was not already busy. However, she was getting ahead of herself. All that she had to do now was wait and see what would be Kazuma's next move. Satisfied, the spirit fluttered down next to Shiruba and whispered her gratitude for his assistance.

User ImageShiruba quickly nodded, knowing it was best that he should move anyway before Kazuma decided to come at him with his free sword arm and so Shiruba braced his foot against the Sephira's chest and pushed away from him, the light spikes easily coming out from the Sephira's body as Shiruba made some adequate distance between them...

He decided that he should keep his shield on his right arm for now, a shield the best tactic for this type of attacker for this moment in time, but it was much too cumbersome for only one arm and so he brought his second arm around, wrapping it in a depression in the underside and cried out, "Bunkatsu!"

At his command, the shield split perfectly in half, the halves of the lower spike coming to form a whole one much more closer to the center as the others grew shorter, adequate for the size of the shield, but spikes that small didn't offer much offense, so he uttered another command,"Ransushīruzu!" this one causing the three spikes on each arm shield to merge together and become lances of the same width and length of the original spiked shield...

At least now he could defend himself from such ferocious attacks and do something about them as well and he watched the Sephira carefully for his reactions to his wounds and Eriko's attacks, smiling softly as Eriko came beside him, "It is my duty and my pleasure to assist you...do not be afraid to lean on me if you need me..."

"Truth is simply a conception..."

Hideki, looked over upon sensing that Hibiki was near. Hibiki was wise to take hold of the tablet, though it was not as if Hideki did not set it up to fail. He nodded at him, and in the seconds later, Hideki would find that to be the flaw in his fight the moment. Zenos is completely undetectable by Hideki, something completed by an invisible means or his mind forcefully suppressing it with fine precision though all of this simply conjecture. Hideki's problem was the root, him being undetectable. Hideki might have been able to at least sense what was coming, but in combination with keeping his eyes off of Zenos, he had no such luck. When Zenos jumped out of one of the pillars and landed a kick into his stomach, Hideki's eyes widened as he was shot backwards. Not wasting a second, Hideki replaced this body with a Ranpu Bunshin and executed a shunpo down to the pillars. Zenos was, just as Hideki rematerialized, slamming his fists into his Bunshin, of which would shoot down around 5 feet before flickering from existence at 10 feet.

Hideki slipped up to a full standing height of 6 feet and 7 inches, staring as Zenos assaulted Hibiki. Hideki would have intervened, however he had something different that just aiding. Letting an out pour of Reiatsu quickly before it dieing down, a pool of black Reiryoku would begin appear in the form of a counterclockwise spinning-spiral. Within a second it would engulf his entire head and blow away to show a hollow mask that covers of of Hideki's face and cheek area as well as his head and posterior region of his head. It is also adorned with a 6 inch horn on his forehead area and a 'tail' that is black in color as well as a black tribal-like design. The eye openings were filled with darkness and a low guttural breathing could be heard coming from behind it. His skin had gotten a dull grayish color and his nails had grown sharp and longer, more primal.

Not saying a word, Hideki rushed forwards toward Zenos and crouched just before his position. "Bakudō no Ichi: Sai. Bakudō no Kyū: Geki!" Zenos' arms would be pulled to his back as Hideki would ascend towards him, moving his right hand to palm Zenos' face, using that as a medium for the Geki, enveloping the Sephira in a paralyzing red light for a few seconds. Hideki would shove his body weight top heavy, causing him to crash to the ground. As Hideki moved Zenos, he simultaneously spoke the chant of Tenteikūra and proceeded with another as he shoved Zenos to the ground and jumped into the air. "Walls of ironsand, a priestly pagoda, glowing ironclad fireflies. Standing upright, silent to the end. Bakudō no Nanajugō: Gochūtekkan. Bakudō no Nanajunana: Tenteikūra." Clasping his hands together, 5 spheres with thin tails, wormed their way out of his closed palms and moved above him into a 5 point circle before Hideki raised his hand and slammed it down towards Zenos. At this 'que', 5 thick pillars would fall down upon Zenos: one for each arm and leg, and then one above the head. With his fingers now outstretched, Hideki closed his plam and the 8 points of dark energy were formed around Zenos' body with one forming in his chest keeping him down for what Hideki had planned next.

Lifting his right hand to the sky, his darkened pallor showing more than ever here, with his palm up. "Limit of the thousands hands, respectful hands, unable to touch the darkness. Shooting hands unable to reflect the blue sky. The road that basks in light, the wind that ignited the embers, time that gathers when both are together, there is no need to be hesitant, obey my orders. Light bullets, eight bodies, nine items, book of heaven, diseased treasure, great wheel, grey fortress tower. Aim far away, scatter brightly and cleanly when fired. Hadō no Kyūjuichi..." Hideki would close his fist with the statement of the Hadō number and let his body fall around 160 degree's downward to be facing Zenos with his legs up in the air behind him, going skyward. Slamming his foot into the Reishi plate below him, Hideki shot forward, gaining the distance between he and Zenos within seconds, outstretching his hand burrowing it into the Sephira's stomach area.

Hideki's massive strength upgrade with this form only made this attack even that more deadly, but to add to it, just as his fist moved down as far as it could go and began to lift back up, Hideki would open his palm back up and finish his Hadō, "...Senjū Kōten Taihō." With this, the incredibly powerful Hadō would explode with less then 1 foot between its detonation and Zenos' body. Hideki would move back with the explosion and land a few feet from where Hibiki would be, where ever it might be. The only thing heard from Hideki at this moment, was the ever present guttural breathing.

[All of this has been agreed upon. No freaketh out.]

Lee was glad that the Sephira was not in a particularly talkative mood considering he himself was not in a talkative mood. He had too much on his mind to even want to be remotely talkative to the enemy. There was a reason the Shinigami were here and conversing with the enemy was not among them. What could possibly be accomplished by doing such a thing anyway? Finding common ground might just make it harder to kill the other which was the only possible outcome right now. Well maybe not necessarily killing the other but having a victor was a must. Watching the Sephira move to avoid his water wave only to be caught by the bakudō was nice considering his distraction had worked. However just before the hadō could hit her and deal damage she disappeared quickly in a garganta it seemed. Being engulfed in the dust from the explosion Lee closed his eyes and waited for her reiatsu signature to reappear in the area. Surely she didn't intend to leave? Seconds after his explosion he felt he reenter the area and turned towards her holding his katana in front of him. She didn't seem to be moving though being he couldn't see he couldn't be too sure.

Letting go of his zanpakuto he allowed it to spin rapidly before grabbing it and releasing a tenran that shot outwards to form a widening horizontal tornado blast that quickly cleared away the smoke or at least cleared it away enough to see that something else was coming towards him and drawing in the smoke. It was small enough it was easily not noticed if not for the smoke being drawn towards it. It was too small to be a normal cero and despite moving faster than a cero it was not a bala either. Even the tenran seemed to be drawn towards it though only a small amount of it given it's large size. Most of the attack continued on towards Neida. Dashing backwards to move away from the attack he tried dodging to the right but still managed to have it catch him in the shoulder with crushing force. Wincing in pain he felt himself be involuntarily spun in mid air and continue towards the ground. Managing to stop himself from spinning Lee just managed to stop himself from hitting the ground. "Sekienton. Kyokko." Having the red smoke screen erupt at his feet he was quickly hidden from sight. Taking a moment to recollect himself Lee decided on a new course of action.

Given that new had no reiatsu to sense he didn't have to worry about being found that way however he was sure pesquisa could still find him. "Mizumi." At the command his zanpakuto's blade was altered into rapidly moving water molecules. With that Lee dashed forward out of the smoke still invisible and towards her side. Given her appearance it was easy to assume that she was already in resurrección and likely had more tricks up her sleeve. "Sajō Sabaku." Thick white chains shot out of in front of Lee looking to capture Neida and wrap her up though Lee let the kyokko come off of him and pass to the chains to hide them from sight. "The crest of turbidity, seeping out. An insolent vessel of madness. Boiling up, denying, numbness, blinking, obstructing slumber. The steel princess who creeps. The mud doll, ever disintegrating. Unite! Oppose! Filling the earth, know your own impotence!" Stopping a few feet in front of her Lee thrust his left hand towards her which held the beginnings of the hadō he powered up by using the incantation. "Hadō number ninety Kurohitsugi." Quickly condensing the black box to the size of a coffin Lee dashed backwards to hopefully escape any immediate retaliation.

As she was met with the sight of Ori turning into flames, she was certainly surprised, and she expressed this on her face. It was not however, out of concern for herself, she was surprised that he would resort to such a form after engaging her in battle already. She could already feel the fact that it was not a full-body covering of flames like her Keijō no Entei, but instead the technique had altered his molecular structure completely like her Taemanai Raikō Katachi. If he could do it with flames, Yuki was sure that he could do it with other elements. This thought was not something she was thrilled to realize, but at least know she was aware and could be prepared for it at any moment. Still though, with a form like that, she had the advantage.

"I was under the impression you were intelligent; it seems I was mistaken." She kept her eyes trained on him as he formed a scythe, then she lost sight of him as he moved behind her. Unfortunately for him, his flame body made it all the more easier to track him, and she was still quicker than him. As he took the bait of her Utsusemi, Yuki put herself beside him, lifting her arm before extending a flattened palm and releasing a sudden gust of wind from it, the likes of which were comparable to a F2 tornado. At this point blank range, her attack shot from her palm to engulf his entire body and loosen the structural integrity of it to literally blow him away. She figured at this point that if he wanted to avoid being scattered across the battlefield, or possibly "put out" like a candle and die, that he might look to take on a more tangible form before it was too late.

It was for this reason that she activated the technique she had laid out prior to her last attack, the flames she had drawn on the ground in the shape of a futatsudomoe. The design abruptly appeared on the ground, drawn by fire, which suddenly became three dimensional as it shot into the air in an instant, creating a pillar in the same shape as the symbol itself. Yuki directed them around her so she would remain unharmed, and waited for the move to complete itself. She knew her flames, at this point, were not as hot as Ori's, but the idea was to only scorch him in the event that he took on a more tangible form. If it somehow failed, then that was not a problem; it was a contingency plan of sorts, and no more.

Expecting the satisfying feel of her blade slicing through flesh and bone, Sakuya was quite surprised when it stopped. The surprise turned to a murderous excitement as the wind pressure causes by her blade continued on without it revealing the mystery attacker to be none other than Hei Hakase himself. A psychotic smile erupted on her face with eyes that laughed with insanity before she felt a sudden jolt throughout her body that temporarily stunned her, dropping her to her knees as he stepped around her. She heard him cast the Hado from behind her and, reacting with what little time she had to counter the spell but also her own attack in the form of the bed, threw her arms out horizontal and fired bala at each incoming attack causing a brilliant explosion that seemingly engulfed her, however the bala had also managed to deflect the blast around her as they disintegrated creating a sphere of safety within which Sakuya regained her footing as fire, smoke, splinters, mattress fluff, and various other debris all swirled around her.

Not wanting to give Hei too much time to prepare a counter attack, Sakuya jumped straight upward leaving a contrail of the debris behind her as she ascended, stopping at an altitude of one hundred feet so that she could survey the area for Hei’s location as she suspected he would use the fact that she couldn’t sense him to launch a second surprise attack. It didn’t take very long to locate him, however, as he was making no effort to hide himself by standing in the middle of the lake. She said nothing, opting to instead punish him for his hubris through action instead of words. Having drawn both her weapons, she did a spin cutting two horizontal lines in reality itself, which immediately began to open into two Garganta between Hei and herself. The one closer to her was smaller and layered in such a way with the larger one that it would be obscured from Hei’s sight from his current position. Sakuya then put her fists in front of her and fired a cero from each one, each going into a different Garganta. The larger Garganta would open up behind Hei some distance away while the smaller one would open under water below him only after the cero was already fired as to prevent water from coming through the portal at her. She then used a Sonnido to move closer to the lake while still in the air, after which she fired a third cero at Hei, finalizing her Delta Cero combination attack.

Hibiki Kirisho

Feeling the Sephira exert his own control over his Kizashi fragments, Hibiki could let out a quick, yet quiet curse, muttering under his breath ”b*****d.” he whispered. It didn’t take long for Hibiki to realize his attack hadn’t affected him, what it being his own zanpakuto, realizing his error he quickly reformed the blades, set them to their default Kensaku mode and increased their connection to his own mind, this would make him completely aware of the Sephira’s future attempts to manipulate them as well as making it unable for him to do so as now he would have to deal with Hibiki’s own mastery over his own zanpakuto, something that would most likely override the Sephira’s control over metals, making it obsolete should Zenos attempt to do so again.

Noticing the afterimage of the Sephira flicker out of sight, Hibiki knew all too well what was about to come. Then, without warning Zenos erupted out of the very rock pillar he had summoned, appearing dangerously close to Hideki and landing a devastating kick towards his stomach that sent the Captain flying. Unable to intercept them on his own, he quickly switched the Kizashi fragments into their Tsukamu mode, sending flying towards Zenos. In mid-flight, he then converted them into a total of five Tengu chakrams, each on a trajectory path for Zenos’ limbs and head. However, before they could reach him, the Sephira had already sent the figure of Taitei flying down into the ground. Disappearing from the spot, and completely evading the Tengu chakrams, Zenos reappeared at eye level with Hibiki, before sending several earthen projectiles heading towards him at high speeds.

Not wanting to get struck at his condition, Hibiki quickly executed a shunpo towards one of the Tengu chakrams using the Su ability of his zanpakuto. However, he was far from being safe as Zenos quickly reappeared once more and continued with his assault by sending his balled-up fist straight towards Hibiki. However, the fist merely struck air as Hibiki used a last-minute Su shunpo to move directly behind Zenos, by teleporting towards the numerous Kizanshi fragments surrounding him that the Sephira conveniently ignored. Taking this opportunity, Hibiki collected the five Tengu chakrams and threw it towards the Sephira in a powerful Kuchibasi attack, capable of tearing off limbs. As soon as the Tengu chakram left his hand, Hibiki felt the sudden surge of dark reiatsu cascade down into the area. Out of reflex, he immediately disappeared from the area using Su, just in time to watch as Hideki assaulted Zenos, who was most likely left open in those few seconds.

Watching as the Vizard attacked Zenos, Hibiki couldn’t help but get a feeling of dread from looking at the mask. It certainly boosted one’s physical prowess, but at what cost? Shaking himself free of these thoughts, Hibiki recalled that he promised he wouldn’t dwell on it too much, at least not during the battle. He’d make Hei pay for his crimes after the Sephira were taken care of. As Hideki’s Senju Koten Taiho blasted towards Zenos after the plethora of kido spells the Captain had thrown at him, Hibiki spared a brief glance towards Hideki as he appeared next to him, before his sight went back towards Zenos’ area. The attack was tremendously powerful, but Hibiki didn’t want to be too confident, given the fact that their opponent was said to be a literal immortal.

[Behold a late post. I still say you should edit Zenos' post, but whatever.]
[Just tell me if I should edit anything since I wasn't too sure how to fit Hibiki into the scene. sweatdrop ]

Jūnibantai Taichō - Ηakase Ηei

"Speed is "weight"... "

At first sight of the Garganta, he was mildly impressed that she could cut them open with her sword, but other than committing it to memory he did not react to it. As soon as she began charging her Cero, Hei knew exactly what she was up to, and began to devise countermeasures for it before they were released. Hei immediately reached for his ears and undid the clasps on each of his upper earrings to remove them, as he was expecting to deal with two Cero. After this, he reached behind him, under his haori, and put his finger into the hole of his combat knife's tsuba, then tugged it out before muttering to himself. "Bankai. Kagayakashii Iroazayaka Otome." The knife instantly turned into light energy to disperse into the air, and as his irises turned gold and his hair white, his Bankai's overcoat took form and his Shikai's bracers formed over the sleeves. All of this had happened quite quickly, and as such, Sakuya had fired by this time. He remained undeterred as she was doing something he had seen multiple times over while fighting Zenos. At this point, while his next attack was preparing at the bottom of the lake, he heard the Garganta open up behind him, and without looking, he tossed an earring over his shoulder and allowed it to strike and absorb the Cero before it shattered to pieces and those pieces fell into the water below.

He didn't have to wait for the next Cero to show its face before he dropped the second earring into the water and let it take care of the next one; it hadn't been a hunch, the Garganta reverberated underwater too, though it sounded pretty different, and he had heard it just the same. Once those were dealt with, Hei looked up casually to see Sakuya going for a cero above him, to which he responded by firing a retaliatory Tenran that he unleashed towards her. By this time, the lake was beginning to emit an eerie pink glow, but Hei would distract her from that by firing a Shakkahō up the middle of the Tenran, using the fire Kidō's heat to expand it and make it more powerful. "It appears you are fixated on killing me, young one. I cannot allow that, nor do I have the time to play with you either." By this time, the lake was glowing bright pink, and by now it was impossible for him to hide that from her. However, he had no intention of doing so as his plan was already in motion, and the pieces were in place; he just had to initiate it. Sliding his foot back, Hei assumed a stance as he began to erect Kidō after Kidō, or so it seemed at the very least, that by all rights he should not have been able to perform. "Rikujōkōrō." He said first, emulating the binding spell with his specialized Bankai technique, Kaeraito Keijōmane, expecting it to go right to her regardless of where she was after he had used the Kidō.

It might have been somewhat weak compared to a Sephira's strength, but it hit hard and it hit fast, which was ultimately what he was counting on. "Ryubi, Koko, Kikai, Hoyoku." He said in rapid succession as the four advanced Kidō he had watched Lee practice took form through the same Bankai technique. They wouldn't have the same power as Lee's would as they were not exactly the same, but they looked and felt real enough, and would, at the very least, prevent her from going any direction but down as he had joined the four barriers on all sides but the bottom. "Kaeraito Keijōmane-kō: Senjū Kōten Taihō" Last but not least, he lifted his hand and activated the combination of his Bankai and the powerful Hadō that lay at the bottom of the lake, launching what appeared to be fifteen or twenty instances of a Senjū Kōten Taihō that were spread out all across the lake. He fired them towards her, into the hanging Kidō Barriers, sending the volley of light spears towards her to land a direct hit for massive amounts of damage. He had not spoken the incantation for it, but with his elemental alignment and the mimicry powers of his Bankai, he was able to essentially create about eighteen copies of the Hadō, power them up over the course of a few minutes while they were fighting, and then fire them. This was the only Kidō he could do this properly with, unfortunately. Now in Bankai, he was confident he was faster than she, and with his Haori gone and replaced with the overcoat, his Reiatsu had been bearing down on her ever since he entered it, giving her an even more challenging evasion of this technique.

Light gives of itself freely, filling all available space.
It does not seek anything in return; it asks not whether you are friend or foe.
It gives of itself and is not thereby diminished.

[Kaeraito Keijōmane-kō (Changing-Light Form Mimicry Version): The "version" is not part of the original name of the technique; it was just something Hei add because he's Hei.
Apparently one Senjū Kōten Taihō uses 10 spears of light energy, so 18 instances of it would make, obviously, 180 spears.]

Shiruba Uingusu, 11th Division Lieutenant
シルバーウイング、第11部中尉

User ImageShiruba waited patiently for the reactions that would come from the Sephira, but as he waited, he observed the scenery around him, looking to the other battles that were being waged and watched in awe as Hei performed the beautiful execution of techniques, the grace he had inspiring to Shiruba...

Ever since he joined the ranks of the Shinigami, Shiruba had admired no other Captain more then Hei, his power as the 12th Division Captain a truly marvelous site to behold and Shiruba promised himself that he would do everything he could to match up to that Shinigami's grandeur.

His struggles for power and status reminded him of his past life when he was in the 7th Squad of Damiyo Rokuja's main attack force. He had worked day and night to prove to his father and mentors that he was worthy of the name samurai and his wish came true, becoming one of the many foot soldiers of the elite legion, but ever since his father died and he fled after killing his murderer, he felt unbearable shame...

Ever since he entered the Academy, Shiruba swore to his father's memory that he would bring honor to the Clan Uingusu, that he would be worthy of his clan name that was stripped of him before he left and joined Sunagakure, one of the Shinobi villages that lived on the outskirts of his family's land. It brought great sorrow to him when every day that went by in Rukongai, that he could not find his father and reunite with him...

The other initiates told him to leave it be, that he would never find his father, but Shiruba hoped that one day he would find his father and could tell him that he was the 11th Lieutenant, that he was doing all he could to bring honor to name of Uingusu, but that day never seemed to come and he was slowly losing hope in finding him...

'Would I ever find you father?' Shiruba spoke within the confines of his mind, repressing a tear at the sorrowful memories that dragged at his heart like knives, 'Are you even alive? Have you become what I have hunted for so long, as the others have told me? Where could you be father? Where are you...'

Where there are tears, I shall be...涙があるところでは、私がしなければならない
On silver wings I fly through the sky...銀の翼で私は空を飛ぶ...
Through burdened eyes I have watched...負担の目を通して私が見ている...
In a tortured body I endured pain...拷問本体では私は痛みをこらえ...
In the light I burn with the truth...光で私は真実を上げて燃える...
In the darkness my sin taints us all...闇の中で私の罪は、すべて私たちに汚染します...
The Divine Mouth of the Seven Tails has freed me...セブン尾の神の口は私を解放した...

OOC: Naruto mention for the win! Don't worry, I'm not tying Naruto in Bleach here, I just needed a name for the clan he joined when he was a Shinobi and my favorite village from Naruto was all I could think of. Please don't hate on me for that razz

She felt a certain amount of thrill when her blow landed. With a foe like this, every blow counted, especially when he could regenerate so quickly. Now that she had found the weakest spot though, he would be sure to protect it until it was better tended to, which wouldn't be much time, if her spell connected as it should. As the box began to blacken everything, Nu was busying herself with her mask, the sudden, darker feeling she always felt coming over her to better defend herself from the level 90 Hado. While she was trying to hold Arian in place, a large flash blinded her for a moment in the deep darkness, a flash that came from in front of her, from Arian. The Hado lived up to its name, as its darkness seemed to aid him as he planned a strike, the distinct ripping sound of a garganta suggested he had a plan. Due to the darkness, and its surprise, Nu couldn't do much but brace herself as she was suddenly blasted by the advanced level cero. She was easily blasted out of her hado, her spell left unfinished as it now had holes, easily crashing through the adjacent wall, only stopping when she finally hit a support beam in the building within, its foundation shaking due to its internal damage.

Her mask was in shambles, most of it cracked away from the blast, only a small fragment was left, covering her left eye. If it wasn't for the extra levels of protection her mask provided, she would have easily lost her life. Rising up was becoming a challenge, her entire body was cut by the razor like ball of death. Clothes in shambles, she barely bothers with her attire as she accomplishes a shunpo that takes her to the hole from where she burst in. Looking back, it seemed she had gone through quite a number of walls before making her stop, the sight only reminding her that this wasn't a game. There was a trail of blood, and as she turned to her arm, she noticed a piece of a pipe jutted in her arm. Wincing, she pulled at the metal as hard as she could, finally removing the piece and quickly wrapping a cloth over it before it had a chance to get infected. Turning back to Arian now, who she could still somewhat see from the hole within her hado, her eyes regain some of its old fighting spark, her hand outstretched. With most of her strength gone, it became troublesome, but she finally managed to close the hole within her hado, refusing for it to simply dissipate. She could only watch as the black box finally completed itself before she dropped to a knee, the last of her mask's fragment crumbling away. With it, she could hear her own inner hollow sighing in her mind, the woman disappointed with the events so far.

"You could do better...."

"I know."

"Then why aren't you?"

".........."

"Do you want me to do it?"

"No!"

"Then do better!"

The hollow most likely wouldn't care one bit about Nu's fate if it wasn't intertwined with its own, so she could see why the thing was making her do better. With those encouraging thoughts in mind, she readies herself again, her eyes getting more focused. She shouldn't have been so careless with her openings, and she really, REALLY should have saved her mask for situations like this.
