Initial Title: [MAIN] Ori Invades: Enter the Sephira!
New Title: [MAIN] Take Back the Seireitei!

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.

Setting
The initial setting for this arc of the Main Storyline is the Hakase's personal Japanese-style garden. It is located in the Northwestern corner of the vast Hakase estate and is one of the most beautiful sights in the Soul Society, falling only short of Mt. Koifushi in the Rukongai. The wedding of Elisa Riyu and Hakase Tsukiko has just ended, and the reception is being held in the entire garden. Most of the Gotei 13 has been invited to the wedding and reception, however most of the lower seats and all the unseated Shinigami are still patrolling the Seireitei and Rukongai.

Story
At first, the Shinigami will be enjoying themselves to the abundance of drink, food, music, and discussion to be had. Naturally, most of the focus is to be set upon the overly extravagant wedding that was just held, but eventually conversation on this subject would peter out before turning into other conversation.

Eventually, the merriment will be broken by the sudden invasion of the Sephira, who are acting under Ori's orders (who will appear later) and are free to do as they please within reason.

Information
This section of the Main Storyline is a somewhat "play it by ear" type of thing. Mostly everyone is free to do as they wish, be it talking, indulging in food, or involving oneself in a sport. Expect your fight to be interrupted by the sudden appearance of someone else and by all means, don't be surprised by anyone. It's free game. If you want to fight five people at once, it's your funeral or your moment of glory. The storyline will be edited as the arc plays out, and there is no completely specific end to this arc as of yet, yet there are a few specifics in mind. Sephira are NOT required to die in this arc, they may escape as they see fit. Just be reasonable; don't take your character and have them run off, then return a page later saying they healed fully by eating some hollow. If they leave, they stay gone. It's quite simple. Don't expect this arc to whiz by, it's expected to last for a fairly decent amount of time to give everyone a good chance to get in some quality Role Playing and utilize their abilities to their full potential. While it is expected of everyone to get a few posts in a week, it may not happen, so prepare for that.

Please pay attention to other posts as nothing is more annoying to have a RPC show up, walk up to another RPC who is engaged in battle, and simply start talking to them like they have no idea wtf is going on.

Also, please pay attention to this post as it may be edited from time to time!

===================================================

UPDATE

The war is over, and with their victory, the Sephira now occupy the Seireitei as they have for the past 18 months. However, the Shinigami have begun to emerge into the Seireitei once more to take back what is theirs.

Setting and Information

The setting is now the entirety of the Seireitei; the same rules as above apply.

Now, she too was at the garden, in new attire to celebrate the married couple. Even she knew the two well enough to know they wouldn't care what she wore- heavens knows who still thinks of her as a woman anymore to actually wear such frilly things, she would at least honor the occasion with something else besides her usual haori. So far the celebration went without much incident, as she sat beside a tree and enjoyed her drink quietly by a nearby pond. Seemed even gods would bless a day to celebrate love. What would she have though months ago, when all were on constant alert, the search for Tomomi bringing...questionable results and apparent budding feelings for everyone? On one hand Hei was back, on the other were the casualties- those lost were forever shrined on her personail memorial stone in her training grounds; true comrades in arms. Still, today was not a day to think of such mordid thoughts. Today was a day to relax after much training, to converse and enjoy what seemed to be the finiest food available, the Hakase household made it clear that they would overlook any luxury as she was enjoying her drink. Though, she couldn't help but wonder what would happen if she were to find of her own. Even if she were to become more womanly now, would she be able to find romance as blessed as this? Was there a man around who did not cower in fear before her? The light haired girl's face fell a little, though she'd denied it if you noticed. The small realization that it was her fault for being unaproachable didn't help much, but she did a double take and smirked at her small moment of vulnerability, it was the atmosphere affecting her, making her think of such things. First it was her old captain from long ago, then perhaps Lee.....she doubted that.

Bah, I have a duty to do, they should prove themselves worthy. The woman thought, lacing her hands behind her back and looking towards the sky on the crystal clear day. Perhaps one skilled in domestic duties would better be preferred.. The tall woman always knew what to do- she relied on her basic mantra of duties first, anything and everything else was put second. Though, like it had been recently, there was hesitations in that mantra. Elisa had been visiting her more then she would have preferred, showing her what most woman her age did, though she founf little enjoyment in most of the. If she wanted comapanionship, she would have done it years ago- when she was less known. The woman shook her head, and metaphorically, all femine thoughts in her mind and closed her eyes, listening to the soft pluckings of a shamishen- a enjoyable combo to her drink. Again, she had to repeat to herself that she was not here today to think of such things.

Thankfully, not much people were here yet, off enjoying themselves in their own ways. Nu let a sigh escape her lips , content with life at the moment. She had some last minutes forms to write up, so she decided to leave early today, get that work done before she was all out drunk with herself. Her guard, like all others, were outside on patrol, which made this little party for the higher up's in the Gotei 13.

Tadashi Sakamoto

9th Division Lieutenant

In a small corner of the grand celebration was a fine wooden bench pointed in the direction of one of the garden's beautiful ponds. On that bench, there was a Shinigami. On that Shinigami was a downcast expression, so unlike the people around him. Tadashi Sakamoto had never quite been the same after attaining Bankai a few months ago. No one else had seen what it had been like, and he was sure not many people would understand. Now, he was rarely seen without a somber expression, and tended to indulge in off-duty drinks more than other Shinigami, especially high-ranking officers. Still, this being a happy occasion, he had taken his own personal gourd of sake and a saucer with which he would pour the drink into and quietly receded out of sight as soon as the ceremony was over.

Its not that he wasn't happy for the couple (though he had only really become friendly with Elisia), but rather he had preferred to be alone with his thoughts right now. Tadashi hadn't wanted to refuse the invitation that so few in the Soul Society had gotten for fear of seeming disrespectful. After all, the Head-Captain was the mother of one of the brides (which also seemed to clear up any controversy over the same-sex marriage before it even began).

As he poured more of the rice wine into his saucer, he thought with a sad smile that he'd never find love like the wedded couple had. He felt like the only person in the world right now that didn't have a soul mate. Of course, even he knew this was far from the truth, but he dully allowed the train of thought to continue. In the end, he did grow powerful...not many people could say they were one of the (at the very least) top 20 strongest people in the Soul Society, but he could. He thought it would make him happy to be strong, to no longer be limited by his own zanpakuto and insecurities, but he found it bittersweet for some reason. Tenma was much quieter now that it had submitted completely to him, no longer providing him an inner voice that would push him or criticize his actions. In essence, he felt like he had lost a friend. Tenma now only spoke to him in brief periods of meditation, and even then not much would be said by either of them.

Tadashi briefly considered joining the main group of people either to congratulate Elisia or mingle with the guests, but then decided he had the whole reception to do it. Before, he would cling to Hibiki's side for guidance, but he no longer did that apart from ceremonial obligations and the like. So, Tadashi decided to sit there and stew over his own thoughts for a bit before getting up (if he even got up). Besides, its not like he was out of sight - if anyone had wanted to speak to him, they would.

Hakase Hei
Jūnibantai Taichō
"...allow me to show you a fate worse than death."

As a father, Hei could not be more proud for his little girl for finding someone he cherished and intended to spend the rest of her life with. Naturally he had been surprised that she had decided upon another girl to be her partner, but he was certainly open to the idea. He would always remember the day Elisia had approached him in his Labs and asked for Tsukiko's hand in marriage as the first and only time he had dropped everything he was doing in genuine shock. Despite his careful planning, this had not been a future Hei had calculated for. It was Tsukiko's luck that she had brought home a girl and not a guy, because the chances of Hei beating the living hell out of this boy and hurling him across the Seireitei were extremely high; he was just that kind of a father, and that a kind of a man. Nonetheless, he was proud of her, though initially skeptical of how well this relationship would turn out on the grounds that Tsukiko was still only six years old, seven now, and was still prone to being a child. Apparently Tsukiko desired to prove him wrong after he had expressed this to her, because they ended up here, married on his own estate.

After the passing of both of his adoptive parents, Hei had taken over as the head of the household, begrudgingly at first, but the sheer amount of money he had been left was not something he could ignore. A genius mind and the ability to create astonishing things was one thing, lacking the funds to make them possible was something else. After he had emerged from the seven-month, medically induced coma, he had used a fair sum of money to make his final adjustments to Tsukiko, granting her a nervous system, and making her into a complete woman, altering her appearance for the final time, and adding several new features to her body. He did enjoy the perks it brought him, namely the large estate that was now mostly used as an extension to his laboratory, the large garden that he so thoroughly enjoyed, and the large amount of personal servants that were at his every command.

As Hei watched Tsukiko speaking to Elisia, a smile hidden by the hands folded in front of his mouth crept across his face. She truly looked beautiful in her Japanese-style wedding gown, the exact one Yuki had worn during their own wedding. Letting his hands fall from his face, he rested them on the arms of the leather chair he was currently sitting in that located under a sakura tree that was located atop the hill near the back end of the garden. It was turned so that he could see the entire garden, mostly because he wanted to make sure no one broke anything. He had paid for this entire wedding himself and had begrudgingly allowed all of these people onto his property at the request of his sister and daughter, but that would not stop him from breaking fingers in the event someone broke something of his. Hei ran his fingers through his shoulder length, black hair with randomly placed blue, and then motioned towards a man standing precisely three inches to his left. He bent over in a ridiculously stiff manner and placed his face near Hei's. After leaning towards and whispering something to this man, Hei sat back up straight and brushed off a sakura petal that had fallen on his tuxedo, and then moved his hand to the ring on his neck.

His servant nodded stiffly, straightened up and whisked himself away towards one of the many tables set out for food and secured a bottle of sake and a drinking cup for his master. After he returned, he poured Hei a drink, then handed him the cup while standing dutifully beside him with the bottle in hand. Quietly expressing his thanks with a slight nod of his head, Hei took the cup and downed its contents before handing the cup back and refusing a second glass. When the gray wolf next to the left of his chair stirred from his light slumber at the sound of the musical instrument playing for Nu's pleasure, Hei's hand dropped to his head and scratched him back to sleep. After taking another cup from his servant, Hei crossed his left leg over his right, put his elbows onto the arms of his chair, placed his hands over his stomach, and laced his fingers together. For now he contented himself with watching everything as it folded out, at least until his sister came over to join him.

Elisia had been rather nervous at the beginning of the day, especially when she had started fretting over whether everything was properly prepared but she was more relaxed now that the wedding was over. It had been a little bit of a worry for her, as to exactly where they would be able to have a wedding this big, as she had wanted to invite all of their friends and all the higher-ups in the Gotei 13. Luckily, her father-in-law had taken care of all that and not to mention the funds for this wedding too. With a beatific smile upon her face, she gently entwined her fingers with Tsukiko’s, taking comfort in the fact that they had a long time to be able to live together in. Love always had problems, but that would be easily rectified if she reminded herself of her in-laws – namely one of the most frightening scientists and the Sōtaicho herself. They had been pretty nice to her so far, but she highly doubted that they would be like that if she hurt Tsukiko. Then again, she was thinking of doing no such thing as she was very determined that they would be happy together, no matter what. There had been a lot of problems facing them, like the fact that Tsukiko could not feel or the other girl was really only six years old.

Her little sister, Suzume, who was currently off and about, stretching her legs and looking at the estate, was the only one in her family who had attended. While she had begrudgingly sent invitations to her parents, they had promptly sent it back, coldly writing to her that they did not have any time in their schedule to be able to attend such a ‘useless and trivial thing’. Maybe she should have taken the time to tell them exactly why she was marrying Tsukiko or even introduce the other girl to them. On the other hand, they’d most likely throw an even bigger fit at the other girl and Elisia was determined not to let Tsuki get hurt at all. Her eyes flickered over her surroundings – the Hakase estate. To tell the truth, she hadn’t really expected anything like this, but then again, Hei and Yuki had been adopted by a wealthy family. While the wedding had been excellent and everything she had always dreamed of, she winced at the thought of how much it would have cost. Elisia herself wasn’t very well-off, due to the fact that she had cut all ties with her family, but now, she had a new family, so to say. Absentmindedly patting her gown down, she mulled over these thoughts in her head.

A soft sigh spilled out of her lips as she nodded and accepted a cup of sake from the nearby servant. She wasn’t very prone to drinking sake or anything like that, due to her low tolerance for alcohol but it was impolite to refuse it. Carefully swirling the contents around, she cautiously took a few sips, letting it slowly drain her of all her anxiety. She offered it to Tsukiko, her face lit up by a smile, “Do you want some? It’s good.”

"May I see that for a moment?...." It wasn't a well known fact that Nu was skilled in instruments, even those in her squad knew nothing of her musical abilities. She actually kept a well hidden shamishen in her office so while running drills and making sure her troops were in tip-top shape at all times, she could enjoy the few moments of bliss and pluck away at her small stringed instrument. So when she plucked the first string, she could see the quality of its creation, the skin of the cat was fine as she felt it, showing appreciation for the animal's death, and the beautiful sound that the three stringed instrument could produce. Lately she has been getting sloppy, or at least to Nu's standards they were. In her musical skill and troops were at the top of their game, ready for anything and everything that could possibly come their way. "Haven't used this kind of bachi in so long......."

Things had been going along fine. Her music resonated throughout the garden, a complex song she had learned in the younger years. Her fingers held the bachi as it plucked the strings with great fervor. However, with all the constant attacks, her skills have hindered, but only those with a ear for music could tell. The black haired woman had taken a shine to the instrument in her younger years and when you are a shinigami, time is something you have in spades. How else did one pass the time before going insane?

A mere ten minutes had passed since the Captain finished her third song before a member of her division approached her, in standard Nibantai garb . Nodding along to his words, she sends him off and continues. Much to her surprise, the scout's reported nothing of particular interest. With nothing more than a "I see," muttered, the captain eyes wander to her newfound friend, the.....bride, Elisa.

Over the past year, she visited her one day for work related business, next thing she knew, she was dragged into her chats, eventually not trying to escape them and actually conversed with interest. Learning that Nu was not looking for anyone, she immediately nagged her into the world of romance, and it was so far proving to be rather odd. " Just as she was about to drop her instrument for a greeting, she saw her offer her newly wed lover a drink and smiled softly, it was their time, and friends shouldn't step in. So in response, she played softer, letting the garden soak in her songs, creating a more casual atmosphere. If someone wished to chat with her, she would, she was playing more by instinct, and she was more then happy to engage in conversation.

Tadashi Sakamoto

9th Division Lieutenant

From where he was sitting, he had a good view of the reception area. He saw Hei, Elisia, and Tsukiko clearly - among others, of course. Without even noticing, he sipped at his sake as his glassy eyes took in the sights around him. Suddenly, a voice he hadn't heard clearly for a long time softly spoke to him

'You should really work on this depression of yours.'

Tadashi smirked and set down his saucer for a moment,' Do shut up, nobody asked you.' He didn't really mean it, of course, but this was how he and his zanpakuto had usually conversed. However, Tenma really didn't respond - and Tadashi knew it wasn't because the zanpakuto thought the master had really wanted it to be quiet.

Sighing, he was about to go back to whatever the hell thoughts he was lost in when he heard an odd tune in the background. He perked up and listened to the music, finding it done with flawless execution and being very much beautiful in its essence. He looked over to the main area with the tables and didn't see any performer. Paying a bit more attention to his surroundings, he noticed the 2nd Division Captain as the one making the tune. He simply watched her play, intrigued by the instrument and the skill with which the head of the special ops division was playing it.

"Its a nice tune," he murmured, taking another small sip. It was very much likely she didn't hear, but then he wasn't expecting it to. He was more speaking to himself if anything.

My Fears...

User ImageUser ImageTime had not held onto her for the past year like she had anticipated to all those months ago. In fact, it had been most permissive about the changes that she went through all twelve of the months, more flexible than she had been at the time. From the sudden physical changes which led to a swift return to Hakuda to the inevitable social alterations, it took a backseat and allowed everything to happen in, around and to her. With reference to fighting, her skills had been restored as well as that she obtained additional weaponry. However, that was not the most striking thing to occur in the time span. No, it was not that way at all. Eriko stopped walking on the pond bridge on which she was standing and looked across at the main gathering area where Elisia was seemed to be offering her bride a drink. A quiet smile appeared on her face and she was walking again.

Personally, she could not stand weddings but with the loss of three colleagues, it was good to have an event that could lift your spirits. People deserved happiness especially after disaster strikes. The thought made her glance up again in search of a different face. That was the other outstanding thing to occur during the past year. She had managed to befriend her former Taicho Lee-kun. The two had been sitting together during the wedding but when it ended, they had separated somehow. Now, she was exploring the Hakase estate by herself which was not a bad thing. Alone time was always welcomed. As she stepped off the short bridge, the sudden but continuous playing of a shamishen caught up to her ears causing the young woman to turn to see her predecessor plucking at the instrument in question. When did Nu-Taicho learn to play so well? It could not have been recently with a complex tune coming from her. Everyone had their hidden talents, apparently. Her feet continued on the grass, moving away from the main crowd and into the areas that were plagued with more hills and ponds. If only she did not believe that something would be destroyed in the process, the Jubantai-Taicho would have taken the landscape as a perfect practice spot for her archery.

"I still can't believe that I brought this with me," Eriko whispered even though she was essentially alone. Her gray orbs flickered over the 'x' made by the intersecting straps of her Zanpakuto and quiver full of steel arrows. Who brought weaponry to weddings? Then again, they were not her thing. The traditional respect for the occasion went out of the window on that one except for the dress which she had had to trick herself into wearing. The only sane thought keeping it on her was that it would not have to cover her body for another couple hundred more years unless someone else married. That would not be nice at all but there were the benefits of today such as seeing Nu in a new light; bearing witness to a friend's wedding and simply enjoying this view while you still could. Needless to say, she had left her haori back at her quarters. There was not a fear of it anymore which left an understood dislike for wearing it. Eriko breathed now as it dawned on her that she was not that girl anymore. The one, who had had so much responsibility thrown upon her, had found her path as a Taicho amongst the Gotei 13 Divisions. It was not this big surprise that scared her all the time. Of course, not all of her quirks had left her but time had been willing to let some of them go.

...I would rather be without you.

Keeping an eye trained on her instrument, she raises her head slightly, pinpointing the voice to one Tadashi Sakamoto, and he seemed relatively bored. Accepting the compliment with a nod, she resumes, multitasking was another of her various skills. "Its nothing really, anybody could do it with enough practice....."She felt so content with life; it was like her life was literally running on a fine tea. These were the moments where one could actually relax in this line of work, though perhaps she should take up on Elisa's advice and make new.....acquaintances.

Elisa was the only one she was remotely familiar with on a neutral level; she was the one who convinced her to pursue a relationship in the first place. Blaming her didn’t even cross her mind; her optimism made it hard for her to object to her ideas – that's whhat she told herself at any rate. Nu's eyes narrowed when she realized that Tadashi was still around, though she quickly erased it and replaced it with a warmer stare.

"Enjoying the party?" She asked with a gentler voice, her usual voice when she wasn't barking orders to her men.

To her, lieutenants were looked down upon, society didn’t understand them, nor did they want to understand, though her mindset was beginning to be more accepting. Her time as one was only used to develop her skills, not to make friends...

"a-AH?" Quickly turning, she quickly spots the man and nods her head slowly in agreement. "No offense, but I don't know you well either, but you can sit...." She'd offer a hand, but it was occupied in her playing, and she wasn't set on stopping anytime soon. "To formally introduce myself, my name is Nu Naohito, and you are?" Spotting Eriko, she nods her head in acknowledgment, giving her more familiar stranger a smile as a greeting.

Tadashi was somewhat surprised when she responded to him, not having expected her to be able to hear from that distance. Putting on a smile, he decided to make small talk - for some reason, listening to the instrument had given him a slight push to do something either than sulk.

"It is a beautiful place...I am pleased to have been invited," he said a bit evasively, not really saying outright that he was enjoying himself. He was actually slightly upset seeing Elisia and Tsukiko's good fortune, more so than he thought he'd be until the vows had been made.

For some reason, it looked like to him that the Captain had an interest in making conversation as well. He was about to get up, if for nothing else than to feel better about himself by socializing with someone apart from his own thoughts when he noticed someone randomly saunter up to the Captain and compliment her on the melody she had been making a bit more directly. Sighing, he sat back down and contented himself to simply watching.

Nu could hear the true emotions behind his voice, he seemed troubled. While her ability to detect certain pitches in a person's voice was originally used to detect deception, it did come in handy when it came to normal conversation, as it is now. "Tadashi.....are you alright?" She was trying her best to keep them in good mood, weddings were supposed to be a happier time, or that's what people tell her at any rate. Before she could question the sulking man any further, "Keizo ne? Well, don't disappoint us...." Plucking more, she stares at her finger-work, still as skilled as ever.

"This, as you know, is a shamishen, a three stringed instrument usually made of cat, though newer models are made of dog..." She stared at him curiously, he seemed to be troubled over something, perhaps it was the lack of his captain that was keeping him in such uneasy spirits. Though, now that she thought about it, she hasn't seen much of the captains yet, only Hei and his daughter, Eriko, and herself were the only captainss that have arrived so far, perhaps they were busy with other matters, who knows......

"It is nice to have such a happy moment with everyone just getting over three deaths ne? Its good to see how life can change, in both happiness..." With that, she begins plucking in the minor chords, creating a darker, more sorrowful sound. "And in despair..." Continuing to the happier tune, she seemed intent on sitting there with the instrument, passing the time before she gets hungry.

Tadashi narrowed his eyes, wondering why the 2nd Division Captain knew his name. Then he remembered that the 2nd Division was in part also dedicated to gathering such information, and Tadashi himself had made a point to learn every high-ranking officer's name as well. Still, it was surprising to be called your first name by a Captain. Even more surprising was the fact that she had read into his words. Before he could respond with a lie, Nu's attention shifted back to Keizo.

He looked over the Captain, wondering if the famously strict and cruel 2nd Division didn't necessarily reflect the Captain's persona. Tadashi hadn't really thought about that, having had no reason to. He always thought of the 2nd as a group of assassins and jailers. However, Tadashi also began to wonder if Nu was bothered by something as well. Perhaps she just felt like talking and being friendly - it was a happy occasion, after all. But it seemed a bit more like his current feeling...a bit lonely, actually.

Running a hand through her long, now red hair, Tsukiko flashed a coy smile to her new wife and took the cup from her hands. "What's the matter, can't hold it baby?" Giggling at Elisia's attempt to pass off her low tolerance for alcohol as an offering to Tsukiko, Tsukiko put the cup to her lips and drained the rest of the cup before handing it off to one of Hei's servants that had appeared the second the cup had left her lips and disappeared just as quickly. Tugging on Elisia's gown, she gently pulled the girl down onto a blanket that had been just set out by yet another servant. Her knees had barely touched ground before she had pressed her lips to Elisia's and began to kiss her over and over, fully enjoying the new sensation of her nervous system that had been recently completed by Hei. Tsukiko had absolutely no idea how amazing the basic sense of touch could be, and she intended to enjoy it to it's fullest. It was for this reason she had Hei finish modifying her body over the past few months.

After she had her fill of kissing Elisia, she pulled away and pulled her hand to hers, simply staring into her eyes, though her red bangs were covering her right eye for the moment. A shy smile crept across her face, one that should have disappeared a long time ago, but Elisia still made her nervous at times. "We've got plenty of time to do this, being together. You should go talk to your friends." Lightly jerking her head towards Nu, Tsukiko squeezed Elisia's hand as if to reassure her in her decision. "Meanwhile, I will go profusely thank my father for all of this." Placing her left hand upon Elisia's face, she kissed her again, and finally stood up then extended her other hand to Elisia's free hand in order to her her to her feet. "I love you." Smiling, she released Elisia's hands once she was safely on her feet, and then turned away, slowly making her way towards Hei who was quite a distance away. She walked, as she saw no need to run or anything of the sort, not to mention she did not want to ruin her mother's dress.

Many things had happened over the past year. Not only had her relationship with Elisia strengthened, but many personal things had happened for her as well. Her grandfather and grandmother finally passed on, leaving Hei as the heir to this entire estate and their vast wealth. It was easily noticeable that Hei was thoroughly enjoying the life he had firmly believed had been his to be had all along. It was good he did obtain it though, because that money had funded her body change, the completion of her female form, and a nervous system that aligned perfectly with a normal Shinigami's. Of course, all of this had occured after He had pulled himself out of drug-induced coma that had lasted for seven months. During that time, Tsukiko had gotten antsy and experimented more often, which quickly lead her to form a bond with the 11th Division Lieutenant, Nanashi. He had come to her regarding the woman that plagued his thoughts, and as a scientist she was intrigued, but was even more baffled over Nanashi's own Zanpakutō abilities. Because of this, she agreed to tell him everything about her own Zanpakutō in exchanged for studying his mind and abilities. It was a fair trade, she had thought, though more in her favor since she did not desire to hide her power, and never had. The constant experiments had resulted in the two forming an odd friendship. People mostly viewed it as odd that a member of the 11th Division and a member of the 12th Division would get along, much less spend time together. When he finally came out of his mini-coma and fixed her up, she had been the sole person to bear witness to the union of her parents. It was how it should be, she ahd told them, and to not let anyone else bother them about it.
