Information Name: Mariya "Sakuya" Savin Kyznetsov Appearance Age: 21 Actual Age: 442 Gender: Female Sexuality: bisexual Personality: Sakuya has a very boisterous personality. This is mostly due to the fact that whenever she found happiness in life, it was taken away shortly after leaving her embittered and depressed. As a result, when she now finds something or someone she enjoys, she clings to it with the fervor of a madman. Partaking of the action or invading the person’s space whenever she wants, regardless of what anyone has to say about it. She also takes unnatural enjoyment from killing Shinigami as she sees them as the source of the pain she’s experienced throughout her lifetime.

Bio: Mariya Savin Kyznetsov is a mystery of a person. She is of obvious Japanese decent, even being able to fluently speak Japanese, yet she speaks primarily Russian and behaves as if she were of Russian decent. Born in 1570 under the name Reima Sakuya, she is the last member of the Reima clan. The Reima clan served loyally under Oda Nobunaga during his campaign to unify Japan under his rule as some of his most trusted secret warriors. They weren’t originally known as the Reima, however. Due to their secretive nature and the clan’s practice of sealing numerous Hollow within their bodies to increase their own physical prowess in combat, they were given the title of Reima or Imprisoned Demon by those that were high enough in social rank to be privy of their existence. While few in number, the Reima were some of Nobunaga’s most valuable soldiers, each one of them being capable of taking on hundreds of normal men with no sign of fatigue. It was the rumors of having these Imprisoned Demons bolstering his ranks that earned Nobunaga himself the title of Demon King during his conquests. Sakuya’s father was the head of the clan which allowed her to grow up around some of the most renowned warriors of the Sengoku period. She was even a playmate of Mori Ranmaru and was close enough to Tokugawa Ieyasu that he allowed her to call him by the name Ie-oji.
This period of prosperity for the Reima was not fated to last however. When Nobunaga opted to stay at the temple of Honnō-ji it was the Reima clan that he had posted as his guard. All members were present including the young Sakuya as the entirety of the clan, including women and children, were trained to be warriors mostly due to the fact that it was easier to sneak women and children behind enemy lines as refugees for assassination of enemy generals. That faithful night Sakuya was up with her father during his turn at guard duty. He pointed up to the moon while she walked with him and said, “You were born on a night like this. There weren’t any clouds and the moon was so full and bright it seemed to be daylight. It was then, watching the cherry blossoms float in the breeze under that silver moonlight that I decided to give you the name Sakuya, my beautiful little blossoming night.” It was then that the alarm was raised and it was reported to her father that they had been surrounded by the forces of Akechi Mitsuhide in a coup d’état against Nobunaga. The Reima clan fought valiantly to defend their lord, but there was nothing they could do against such overwhelming numbers. Sakuya watched as her mother and older brother were cut down in battle before her father, who was mortally wounded himself, took her up in his arms and retreated to the temporary sanctuary of the main shrine. Inside they were saddened to find their lord and Ranmaru had both already committed Seppuku. Sakuya’s father was saddened that he was not able to protect his lord, but he felt that if he could at least get Sakuya to safety he could at least protect what little remained of his family and clan. Focusing with all his might he forced open a Garganta. Because it was so hastily made, the Garganta was unstable and he had no clue where it let out, but if he didn’t do anything Sakuya would be killed anyway so it was worth the risk. He then quickly forced Sakuya through before following himself with the body of Nobunaga. He felt that even though he had failed to protect Nobunaga’s life, he could at least retain his fallen lord’s honor by denying the betrayers Nobunaga’s head.
They came out of the Garganta in the wilderness of far northeast Russia, though that was unknown to them at the time. Sakuya’s father then chose to bury the fallen Nobunaga under a particularly close stand of trees, after which he used his katana to scrape an epitaph into the bark that stated: “One man who surpassed the gods.” Close to death, he summoned Sakuya to him. Her face was streaming with tears as he spoke to her. He told her that as the last surviving member of the clan, she was going to inherit the power of the clan head from him in the form of his body and soul, which held the power of all the strongest Hollows the clan had encountered and managed to bind since its inception. She agreed, believing that it was her responsibility to uphold the legacy of her family so that she could one day revive the clan. The last words her father said to her were, “That’s my girl,” before performing the binding ritual upon himself, effectively ending his own existence, but transferring the power of the Reima clan head to his daughter in the process. Sakuya cried herself to sleep next to Nobunaga’s grave and was found the next day by a group of hunters from a local village. They carried the sleeping child back to their village where they gave her food and shelter. She ate quietly while the villagers discussed her fate in a language she didn’t understand. Some felt that she was a monster of some sort to be out in the wilderness alone like that, but others felt she must have been the child of a group of travelers that had gotten lost before slowly dying off leaving her the only survivor. After much debate, they finally decided that they would let her stay in the village under watchful eye and she would be killed or cast out at the first sign of anything dangerous.
Sakuya spent eight years in the village slowly learning the language and working odd jobs the villagers gave her in exchange for food, clothing, and sometimes money. The villagers were still wary of her, but they had become far more accepting, giving her the name Mariya Savin Kyznetsov after a character from an old wives tale of the village about a mysterious fairy girl that lived alone in the forest. She accepted the name, believing it would help her build a better relationship with the people that had so kindly taken her in, despite their understandable reservations on the decision. Every new moon, she would sneak out in the dead of night and go practice her powers in secret. Having been trained in the art of infiltration, she found it no trouble to sneak away from the simple Russian village folk. One night, however, she was careless and was followed by a curious friend into the woods. It was then the friend discovered her using strange powers that no human should posses. By the time Sakuya returned to the village, they were up in arms to extradite her from the village by force. Sakuya was heartbroken as she had come to love life in the village, but she left peaceably and slept in the woods that night. The next morning she awoke to the smell of smoke coming from the village. She ran to help, but it was too late. Most of the villagers were dead or dying and the houses were being ransacked by a group of bandits. Sakuya couldn’t control her rage. These people were like family to her and they were being slaughtered mercilessly for little more than a few coins. She returned the favor to the bandits. Killing them all as easily as a man would squish an ant. After the battle was over she found her friend on the brink of death. The last thing she did was offer and apology to Sakuya for betraying her. Sakuya stood and looked at her second home to be reduced to ruins. As she did she was beginning to transform physically. In her murderous rage, she had successfully merged fully with her Hollow powers (a feat no Reima before her had ever accomplished) and as such had now awakened as a Vasto Lorde. Due to being fed up with the pain the human world had caused her and her new fully Hollowfied state, she opened a Garganta to Hueco Mundo.
Sakuya wandered Hueco Mundo for centuries, killing and devouring anyone that stood in her way. A small group of weaker Adjuchas saw her strength as a beacon and began to follow her, despite her protests. She eventually became fond of her small band and developed a close family-like bond with them. Once again however, her happiness wasn’t to last as her band was caught up in the Arrancar purge. All of her group of followers was killed and Sakuya herself barely managed to survive thanks to her slight regenerative abilities pulling her from the brink long enough for Ein Sof to find and save her. He told her that all the sorrow and pain she experienced over her life was due to the interference of the Shinigami of Seireitei. He claimed that from the very beginning they had been the ones that deemed the Reima a threat to humanity and as such conspired to have them wiped out. He then went on to tell her that Seireitei was responsible for the purge that cost her the family she’d built in Hueco Mundo. Whether or not there were Shinigami present that faithful night at Honnō-ji is unknown, but Sakuya believed Ein Sof regardless. She chose to join him in exchange for the power to exact revenge on those that had so often treaded on her happiness.

Zanpakutō Zanpakutō Name: Butousakura (Dancing Cherry Blossoms) Zanpakutō Appearance: Katana from picture Resurrección Command: Encircle Resurrección Appearance: [X] This half of Sakuya’s Resurrección appears in a swirling typhoon of glowing pink cherry blossoms which slowly float apart showing her with branch-like protrusions from her back, making her resemble a sakura tree that has died and lost all of its leaves and flowers. The branches can be moved as if they were Sakuya's own arms, allowing her to keep them out of the way when she is in melee combat. Resurrección Abilities: Sakura Taifuu, 桜 タイフウ, Cherry Blossom Typhoon: The thousands of cherry blossoms that encircle Sakuya during her transformation always swirl around her in a sphere at a radius of 4~6ft. If she uses Sonido the typhoon continues where it was momentarily before disappearing and reappearing at her new location. Each petal is actually a tiny piece of her soul. If these deceptively beautiful petals come into contact with anyone other than Sakuya they explode with the force of a Bala impact. This and the fact that she is no slacker when it comes to wielding a sword, make it difficult to approach her without taking damage. She can will them to not injure a person, allowing someone to enter the radius undeterred. They can be destroyed, but as they are pieces of her being, as long a Sakuya herself is alive they will grow back from her branches then fall off to encircle her once again. (Destroyed petals grow back after 2 posts) Sakuken, 昨剣, Blooming Blades:This ability allows Sakuya to form some of the petals that encircle her into a pair of katana which she can use in melee combat. She holds her hands out at either side and as the petals rush by, some stop in midair until the pair of glowing pink blades is fully formed. Sakuya can break down and reform these blades at will and while in blade form the petals that the swords are compromised of will not explode upon contact with an enemy. They can also still do damage to a target that has been allowed to enter the radius of Sakura Taifuu. Zanpakutō Name: серебряный лунный свет (Silver Moonlight) Zanpakutō Appearance: Wakazashi from picture Resurrección Command: Eclipse Resurrección Appearance: Sakuya's wakazashi floats into the air and explodes in a burst of light leaving a full moon 3 feet in diameter above her head at all times. Resurrección Abilities: лунный свет пуля, Luz de la Luna Bala, Moonlight Bullet: Sakuya is capable of doing Bala that differ in that they aren’t done with punches. She uses her blades to unleash a crescent shaped wave of energy that is mostly invisible save for shimmering sparkles that mark its location. This Bala is more powerful than the standard one, equaling her pre-Resurrección cero in force and cutting whatever it impacts as if it were the blade of her katana. лунный свет нуль, Luz de la Luna Cero, Moonlight Zero: While in Resurrección, Sakuya’s cero doesn’t emanate from her body, but instead fire from the full moon above her as a sparkling beam of translucent silver moonlight with the same diameter as the moon itself. Because the moon is a full sphere, the cero can be fired in any direction she chooses. затмение нуль, Eclipse Cero, Eclipse Zero: This is Sakuya’s equivalent of a Gran Rey Cero while in Resurrección. A shadow stretches across the moon above her and once it completely covers the moon’s face, a crimson orb of shimmering energy is fired at the target. As with the Moonlight Cero, it can be fired in any direction. 昨夜 木 の нуль лезвие, Zero Blades of the Midnight Blossoming Tree: This is the ultimate representation of Sakuya's power. It combines the abilities of both her Resurreccións for devastating attack potential. She calls this her True Cero. She compresses all of the petals into a single pair of blades and the moon becomes eclipsed as if she was going to fire an Eclipse Cero. Once the moon is fully eclipsed, the blades turn from their normal glowing pink to looking like a katana shaped piece of starry night sky. These blades are charged with the power of an Obscuras Cero making each strike with them vicious in that it's like being hit with both a blade and an Obscuras Cero at the same time. If Sakuya so chooses she can also release all of the Obscuras energy contained within a blade at a target causing said blade to revert back to is previous form. While powerful, Sakuya can only keep the energy stabilized on the blades for so long before it dissipates naturally. (can only be used if both Resurrección are active, blades stay charged for 4 posts)
Special Abilities/Extra Weapons: Ambidextrous: Sakuya is equally comfortable wielding a sword in either hand and typically switches hands on the fly while fighting with only one weapon. Master of Swordmanship: When it comes to sword combat, Sakuya is in a league of her own. She has been known to make a sword move in ways that appear to defy physics, twisting and turning her blades to change her strikes in fractions of seconds as she deals death. Despises Shinigami: Sakuya hates all Shinigami with a burning passion due to her belief that they are the cause of all the strife she experienced during her life. She refuses to show any mercy to a Shinigami and takes great enjoyment in the thought of slaughtering them all. Celestial Reiatsu: Sakuya's Reiatsu makes people feel as if they are floating in the void of space surrounded by a never-ending field of stars. To some this can causes vertigo which hand hinder their combat capabilities.
