Underneath her usual outfit, Mitsuru wears the uniform of the commander-in-chief of the Onmitsukidō, which has no sleeves and doesn't cover the back, though she does wear long black bands that criss cross around her back.Personality Nu is a quiet, collected woman, with a serious but usually kind demeanor. She has a very sharp sense of humor, usually expressed by snapping back at her subordinates, as well as her fellow Captains. Nu is referred to as the model of a perfect soldier, strictly disciplined and extremely rational--she rarely relaxes when on the job and is usually tasked with keeping her colleagues on track. Though from the outside she might seem strict, rigid, and even a little mean, Nu is not as cold and distant as she appears. Those close to her know that there is more to her than her no-nonsense attitude; beneath her professional aura is a deeply scarred woman with a kind soul carrying a heavy burden.
Nu's softer side tends to make itself known through her interactions with younger members of Soul Society, most noticeably in interactions with Elisia. It isn't unusual to see her behaving sweetly toward her pets while in private. Very disciplined, Nu takes her work seriously and is almost never seen “dropping formalities,” even with those who are most intimate to her. She’s not prone to public displays of affection, preferring to show her feelings through more subtle ways. Nu seems to be the epitome of "tough love," demanding excellence from those she respects or considers important.
Her character shows a mix between a tortured woman looking for redemption she feels is unreachable, and a resigned acceptance of past mistakes and their consequences. Nu learns from past mistakes to accept responsibilities for her actions herself, rather than placing blame or burden on another. She decides she must sacrifice her own happiness and comfort and continue to dirty her hands with blood as a soldier in order to bring peace to the people. Despite the emotional difficulties in facing her mistakes, she learns to school herself and her emotions as personal struggles, brushing off the concern of others, always bearing grief or physical pain with a stiff upper lip.History Nu was born into this word at an unconfirmed date, her being a regular civilian or a Noble unknown to her. Growing up as a drifter, being abandoned for reasons unknown in the slums of Soul Society, Nu was wandering one day when she witnessed Shinigami going off to the human world to fight hollows, something she has never witnessed before. When asked why, she was given the answer that it's what they had to do. Nu later decided on becoming a Shinigami at age 213, passing the entrance exam on her second attempt and completed the curriculum after many years, much more then needed, due to the want to perfect her skills in combat.
After becoming a fully-fledged shinigami at age 289, she lived on the outskirts in the Rukongai, doing odd jobs and sneaking into the human world to get the occasional spar with basic hollows, the academy now was a place for her to train openly. During one of her excursions, she was spotted by the town's local shinigami and had to flee immediately into Soul Society, becoming a criminal in the process, as if taking the dangai wasn't enough, she was forced to kill many seimichiō on her way back, as luck would have it she came on the cleaning day. During the time she was forced to disguise herself, she bleached her hair white and cut it to neck level, even going as far as to change her accent and name, erasing all existing records of her previous life. As Nu, she was a new face to the world and had to join the Academy again, passing again after many more years then needed, remembering the drills and exercises easily, while focusing more on combat then kido.
Hiding out in the streets at age 506, she became a small time street brawler, fighting for money and for the passion of battle, her skills continuously growing during this time. Studying and sparring with many seated officers regularly, she began studying Hado and the regular basics again, trying hard in pursuit of a purpose in life and to be somebody, instead of a low life. She stayed at her makeshift house for a few years, seeing as she couldn't pay with her fighting money anymore. Among the years she displayed a side which was never seen before; she learned to accept others into her life and to lead a relatively happier lifestyle.
After months of preparation, she took the exam and passed with flying colors, scoring to be a lieutenant. Getting used to the new chaos of the Gotei 13, she regularly visited many places around Soul Society. When serving the former captain of Squad 5, she developed close bonds with him. Only when she was getting to know him, he left her life, left to become the Captain of Sixth Division with herself staying to a new Captain. Her newest Captain also piqued her interests quite a bit before she was promoted to be the Captain of Division 2. Now with the promotion in rank, she has deemed it ready to revert to her old habits, if only a little. She has changed the color of her hair to her natural color and lost her interest in suits, instead into a somewhat ragged outfit she used to wear while fighting.
After the past year, she has been showing interests in the males around Soul Society, something a certain Captain suggested of her, though she still puts her duties as captain above all else. She had developed heart problems in the past year and now, after much hidden pain, wears a pacemaker, that while keeps her alive, sometimes gets in the way of her fighting, as she to secretly fret about her condition. Training relentlessly regardless, she is training in this time of peace for the next main attack, her paranoia perhaps getting the better of her. Her fears confirmed, she suffered major losses and damage during the first attack, the bulk was a missing arm from Arian's attack. Retreating along with most of the Captains to the human world, it was there she trained with a newly made arm Hei had constructed as well as her newest Hollow powers, again provided by the man. Also to note was the increased relationship with her former Captain, which was now confirmed just before arriving to reclaim Soul Society.

Zanpakutō
Zanpakutō Name:Tenka [天火, lit. fire caused by lightning]
Zanpakutō Description:
What was once her sword was not been forged as an integral part of her newest prosthetic, due to the injuries sustained from her battle with the Sephira Arian. Hidden by a "Human" skin grafting, her metal arm could easily function as her zanpakutou thanks to one of its latent abilities, Mugenjin. Now with more metal at her disposal, her "blade" could be arranged into a variety of newer blades and other shapes, at the cost of perhaps its original durability. Linked directly to the nervous system, her prosthesis does not usually require an external energy source and can be moved at will like a natural appendage, taking electrical pulses from the nerves to power and regulate the various electric motors and pneumatic actuators inside. Made with a full steel skeletal frame layered with steel armor-plating to protect the various wires and intricate machinery inside; however, due to her nature of using this as her primary form of attack, she can only use portions of her arm, the rest vital to hold the machinery needed for it to function. In a battle, she may simply extend the knuckle portion of her hand into a lengthy blade, while retaining the "arm". For combat, it is adorned with a spikestrip wound around the hand as well as a long sword blade extending from the bottom of the elbow. It is highly customizable, capable of adding additional accessories for battle beforehand, likewise taking it away for the normal use as a prosthetic.
Zanpakutō Spirit:
A feisty woman clad in her signature regal red kimono. Tenka is intelligent and witty, holding an intimate knowledge of the Soul Society and its workings, as she is the leader of the Onmitsukidō and the Second Division's captain' Zanpakutou Spirit. Although relatively calm and mature when a situation calls for it, Tenka is quite laid-back and playful, often teasing Mitsuru about her love life and her tries to have a more feminine approach to things. Deep down though, the two share a deep bond, understanding each other at a high level, even more so now that a second, separate yet connected entity has shown up in her mind.
Zanpakutō Realm:
A world surrounded by tall skyscrapers; the top of said skyscrapers all have lightning rod and, correctly assuming, it is constantly in a thunderstorm. Though Mitsuru usually trains herself in the city like portion, it extends far beyond that, the geography could change from mountain ranges, to lush plains.

Byakuraishō [白雷掌] (lit. White Lightning Palm)
By compressing all of her electrical energy into her fists and controlling the precise times when to release, her physical attacks are augmented by her Shikai's energy, which could also be shaped into various different ways to attack, her most basic is Raika Hōken (雷華崩拳, lightning blossom crumbling fist), a simple punch powered by her Shikai. Hiraishin [飛雷神 ] (lit. Flying Thunder God)
A simple move, where after coming into physical contact with the opponent, Mitsuru raises her arm into the air, generating a powerful bolt of electricity which will travel through her body and into the body of the opponent. Raiton no Yoroi [不変排除] (lit. Thunder Armor)
By wrapping her body in a layer of electricity, Mitsuru can electrically stimulate her nervous system and speed up her neural synapses to react faster to danger and push her physical prowess to the absolute limit, allowing her to gain tremendous raw speed and monstrous power. Raisoku Shundō [雷速瞬動] (lit. Lighting-Speed Instant Movement)
A move she witnessed from a Captain, modified so that her own zanpakutou can use a move similar, but somewhat slower. Allows her turn her own body to a strike of lightning, going as fast as 60,000 m/s. Due to extended practice with the move, her limitations and drawbacks have been considerably lessened if not removed.

Bankai Attacks:
Enshi [煙死] (lit. Death by smoke suffocation)
Mitsuru spews a stream of ash from her mouth, which surrounds the region. As it is ash, it stays in the air around the victim like a cloud. From there she can do one of two things. One method would be too simply, like the name suggests, keep the plume growing and suffocate the victim. Or, after surrounding the enemy with the ash, Mitsuru can ignite it with a flint placed on their teeth beforehand to create a spark, resulting in a violent explosion, burning the enemy. However, this technique requires keen senses to read the air currents, the insight to read the movements of the enemy, the tactical experience to not also enfold one's allies in the flames, and careful attention for the timing of the ignition, all of which Mitsuru possess.
Ranrankemono [爛爛獣] (lit. Flaming Beast)
By smashing her fist on the ground, flames erupt becoming a fusion of her reiatsu and the fire, a beast resembling a lion or another beast. This creature has limited intelligence and lifespan, but can follow simple orders for the short time it is there, which is a total of 2 posts. Her vaiety has grown over the months, as shown in different animals to either attack, or restrain, such as a snake, and many other forms.
Amaterasu [天照 , lit. Illuminating Heaven ]
Mitsuru body is lost to flames, as every inch of her appears at first to be caught in the fires. Eventually, ,Mitusuru reappears, in new attire. Along with the new clothing seems the ability to control fire at will, pyrokinesis. With her left eye, flames would materialize at all she stares at, though doing that only drains her faster. To remedy this, while she is in this form, she usually shuts her eye to prevent unneeded energy spending. The flames emitted by her eye is much hotter then her usual attacks, almost 1500° C normally. If if condensed on one target, the peak of it would cap off roughly at 1800°C. While her physical attacks and speed are otherwise unaffected, her defense is upped a bit by the scorching temperature that now surrounds her, well above the safety rate. With so much power comes the price of being comatose for a week, which makes this ability hardly seen.

Vizard
Cero: (虚閃 (セロ), sero; Spanish for "Zero," Japanese for "Hollow Flash")
While Nu is primarily more skilled in close quarters combat, Nu has shown great skill in this basic Hollow ability. Unlike most hollows she has seen in battle, she has fully mastered this ability to the point pf showing no physical sign of firing, the blast coming out of the oddest of places to confuse most enemies.
Stat Enhancements:
Power Augmentation
Nu certainly seems much stronger while wearing her mask. The explanation for this is that since Hollows boost their natural abilities by obtaining spiritual power around them, either by absorbing it in its ambient form or devouring it directly from another living being, Nu attains power from two separate sources: that from her natural powers as a Shinigami captain, and that from her immediate environment (drawn with the help of her Hollow powers), allowing her to draw power from both sides.
Enhanced Strength
With her mask on, she can punch through the toughest of hierro easily, her blade only adding an edge to her devastating swings. She is tough enough to withstand most hado and at most, a gran ray Cero.
Enhanced Speed
Her already incredible speed and strength are increased beyond her limits, allowing her to take out dozens of foes in a matter in seconds. Her noteworthy speed is fast enough to outrun her own long range related attacks, allowing her to strike and enhance them or launch simultaneous attacks at the opponent from different angles. Keeping true to her rank, she is still one to end battle quickly, attacking from behind usually her preference, and her increased speed and strength only helps in such tactics.
Enhanced Kido
Though she has never really tried, she could only assume that the mask would help her with Kido, though, once again, she has never really experimented with her new-found powers in such a manner.
Minor Telekinesis: Though she has not mastered this move like all of her other abilities, Nu is able to recall her sword back to her hand with a wave of her hand, though the farther the distance, the more time she has to focus on her sword rather then the actual battle. She doesn't understand the specifics behind it, but her her new mask came the ability to call the blade to her at will. Though it could be useful with enough practice, Nu instead focused her time on the other aspects of her new powers, which is why this ability is rarely seen by her in battle. As such, Nu simply uses her incredible speed to reclaim her sword if the need desperately requires it.
Mask Protection : Her mask, whether she is conscious of it or not, actively protects her from attacks, blocking attacks that sometimes could be proven fatal. Though it is hardly shown, as she usually dodges such attacks with her speed, it is somewhat comforting to know that she has an "armor" of sorts. Her mask is of relatively simple design, the smooth head pointed in three direction at the top with sharp cheekbones and a prominent chin design. She summons said mask with a ripping motion near the top of her face, gathering spiritual matter on it in order to manifest the mask. Her voice is also somewhat distorted when wearing the mask, though this is never really explained.
Dual-Type Reiatsu:Like all Vizards, Nu now has Dual-Type Reiatsu. Her usual Captain Reiatsu is only further augmented with her transformation. Once masked, her usual fiery Reiatsu is raised to scorching levels, most of her surroundings set ablaze by her sheer presence alone. Some time into a fight with a masked Nu has been known to cause feelings of lightheadedness and dizziness due to the conditions she has set. With a masked fight with Nu, the temperature surrounding the air could well go over 121 degrees Fahrenheit, a staggering temperature that only the most willing would continue fighting in. As such, most of her opponents give out to dehydration and the like before the fight can really get serious, a useful technique that Nu employs often. She can readily control how much of an output of reiatsu she may emit, thereby conserving energy.

The Vizard's Swordsmanship is starting to become more refined. They can perform thrusts and parries, but not in rapid succession of one another.

Hadō 10/10: The user is incredibly skilled in the ways of Kidō. They are known for stringing together any number of Hadō to create complex, high-powered attacks. It is well within their power to spam #1-80 and perform any Kidō without their respective incantation.
Bakudō 0/10: The user's knowledge of Bakudō is zero and they are unable to perform any sort of Bakudō.

The Vizard's reaction speed is unparalleled and they are known across the Seireitei as having the quickest reactions.
Hohō - 15/10
The Vizard possesses unparalleled Hohō, allowing them to move faster than even the most seasoned captains can react. The user possesses a Shunpo so quick that they appear to have a form of teleportation as they appear and disappear solidly instead of shimmering like is customary with Shunpo.
Hakuda 13/10
Offense - 13/10
The Vizard's aptitude for offensive Hakuda is unparalleled and they are known across the Seireitei as masters of the art. They move like liquid and are proficient with dealing damage by executing multiple and alternating strikes in rapid succession without any visible effort.
Defense - 13/10
The Vizardi's defensive Hakuda is unparalleled and they are known across the Seireitei as masters of the art. They can easily brush other CQC attacks to the side instead of meeting them head on, and go in for an attack almost instantly after.
Physical Strength 13/10
Strength - 15/10
The Shinigami's strength is unparalleled and they are touted as the physically strongest Shinigami throughout the Seireitei. The Shinigami can bypass 13/10 in Armor/Hierro without the aid of a weapon, harm those with 14/10 with a weapon, and break out of Bakudō up to #70.
Endurance - 11/10
The Shinigami's endurance is immense, allowing them to survive bifurcation, but only for a short period of time.
Reiatsu 5/10
Pressure 10/10: The Vizard's Pressure makes use of its own unique effect constantly. The Vizard's Pressure hinders those with with a 8/10 in Pressure and debilitates those with 4/10. Iron 0/10: The Vizard has no Armor.

Other Abilities/ETC/MISC
Feline Transformation: While not a very practical art, Nu has developed the skill of transforming her body into's a cat's form. Her speed drops, but the drop is so minuscule that only the most observant will notice. The cat's initial fur color can be changed at her leisure and her sudden drop in voice will confuse most on her gender, a fact that she employs frequently to her amusement. She has shown no limit for the time spent in the form, implying that is could be a rather basic skill, or that Nu is simply gifted in it.
Mugenjin (無限刃, Unlimited Blade)
While not really a special ability, Nu has discovered that her zanpakutou Tenka melts her sword to rapiers and knives due to her own preference and had nothing to do with Nu's preferences, great annoying the captain. So after much scolding and the sort, Nu has gained the ability to quickly melt and reform her weapon to other weapons, as long as they are reasonable.
Ex. Her blade does not have enough metal to form a rather effective ax, and metal is hardly flexible enough to be a whip, so while it grants Nu more variety, it is more then likely bladed weapons.
Master Hand-to-Hand Combatant: Nu is more skilled with her fists then she is with her sword. A trained practitioner in the style of Northern Shaolin kung fu, but with a few techniques from Northern Seven Star Praying Mantis. These martial arts feature quick, successive attacks that exert extreme power for just a moment (much like an explosion, called ging lik). It optimizes a strong continuous offense, sacrificing defense for greater power, the principle behind a preemptive strike, which mimics her own skills; emphasis much on offense then defense. Also as the leader of the Onmitsukidō, she is required to be highly proficient in hand-to-hand combat. She can sufficiently block and attack others and is hard to actively lay a hand on unless she allows it
Immense Strength: Staying true to Second Division for being both swift and strong, Nu has invested much of her time and training to build her strength. Capable of shattering boulders with her punch, she takes pride in her strength and its abilities to help her protect those she holds dear from harm.
Immense Durability: Though lacking in any special ways to augment her defense, her physical strength is matched by her durability.Nu has trained her body to resist pain, taking only the most severe lacerations for her to even consider the prospect of death and show concern of her well being, usually so focused on her mission to notice such matters.
Shunpo Master:As the leader of the Onmitsukidō, she is also required to be highly proficient in Flash Steps,which she fulfilled in spades. She is not shy to actively uses her mastery of Shunpo techniques in battle and is highly proficient in evasion in close quarters as well as from a distance, thus making hitting her almost impossible if not for the most advanced combatant. She has also started to wear a Ginjōhan, increasing her base weight, thereby increasing her speed once she becomes accustomed.
Skilled Swordsmanship Specialist: Living on the streets for most of her life, she has a distinct, almost barbaric way of sword play, using unconventional means to get her point and attack, across. She relies on her surroundings, her impressive speed, and her immense strength to overwhelm opponents into either submission or death. Though she is skilled with her sword, she, in usual battle, will quickly go straight to bankai and rarer, shikai for battle. As such, she is more skilled with her knife holding the blade horizontally, her arm in a reverse grip. All strikes are made by sweeping the arm forward as though throwing a punch while whipping the blade forward away from the arm quickly in a broad arc. She is quite adept at blocking with the blade in this manner as well. She also fights in the normal style masterfully, given to being proficient in two variations of sword fighting
Immense Endurance: Being a natural born brawler, Nu is fully capable of going hours on fighting before showing signs of exhaustion.
Keen Strategist & Tactician: Nu has shown abilities of keen insight, and while not noticed for her brains, she is a skilled strategist in her own right. As a Captain, she is trained to lead a group and to formulate plans when needed, dependent on the situations. Though her methods may seem mundane, it is rare that she would attack without proper planning beforehand. She also understands the basic principles of her attacks, such as the manipulation of oxygen to pinpoint her fire in certain attacks.
Kidō Master: Nu's knowledge of Kidō is highly extensive, previous training while in Lee's division has molded her into an excellent kido user, able to string together multiple spells for various situations.
Seasonal Style (Working on this part, this part as well)
A odd style that Nu is currently developing, that combines her speed and strength to overwhelm her opponents in a series of acrobatic moves, likened to a dance. She added a seasonal theme solely because it is easier for her to remember attack names, rather then the move itself.
Youryuu: Hinoe (陽流・丙, Mortal Summer)slams her fist onto the floor, damaging foes with rocks and the initial shockwave, varying on the distance.
-Advanced: Inryuu: Hinoto (陰流・丁, Enduring Summer) Augmented with her bankai's energy to crash down faster, closely related to one of her already known moves.
Youryuu: Kinoe (陽流・甲, Mortal Spring)A rapid impact from her elbow or fist to the solar plexus can easily knock all the air straight out of a victim, leaving them gasping for air and unable to move.
-Inryuu: Kinoto (陰流・乙, Enduring Spring) Fundemantally the same move, though when the oponent is gasping for air, she shifts her sword, if not already, into something sharper, attacking the neck with Number One: Nadegiri (撫で斬り, "Clean Sweep" or "Killing Several with One Sword Sweep"); beheading them.
Youryuu: Kanoe (陽流・庚, Mortal Autumn) Using her speed, she creates five clones of herself running towards the enemy, each clone dissipating the moment they make contact, as they are nothing more then afterimages created by her speed. Once thoroughly confused, she will most likely appear by the air, in a downward slice sort of fashion.
Inryuu: Kanoto (陰流・辛, Enduring Autumn) If downward, she uses the powers of her shikai to turn herself into electricity, shocking most opponents and causing havoc to their nervous systems for 2 posts.
Youryuu: Mizunoe (陽流・壬, Mortal Winter) Nu stands her ground, and when attacked, she will continue to stand her ground until the moment of piercing or impact. There, with her speed, she performs a Senka, a Utsusemi appearing as though in pain, holding the opponents weapon in place.
-Inryuu: Mizunoto (陰流・癸, Enduring Winter) Depending on the situation she may not perform the Senka, for whatever reasons, be it orders or personal preference. if that is the case, she will usually use Bakudo number 63 Sajo Sabaku (鎖条鎖縛, Locking Bondage Stripes)
