After a while apart Karayan is back to bother his Orderite friend Madryn Col, hoping that perhaps the guy will join him on another adventure to hunt some dragons!

On his way to try to find Madryn Col, wanting to drag the poor Orderite off for more adventure, he stumbles across Sueno! Much to his delight it seems the girl is Madryn Col's sister and he chats with her until Madryn Col himself shows up. From there they chat as a group as to what they should do next!

On his way to bother Madryn Col, Karayan stumbles a rather intimidating but awesome looking woman named Kadryn. After a bit of chatting the two of them have a bit of a sparring match. Karayan gets thoroughly trounced but he doesn't really care. Why be upset when he was lucky enough to get to duel her in the first place? Besides, she offered him a lot of tips afterwards that he means to use in his next dragon battle!

Karayan and Ember stumble across a strange group of mixed blooded warriors, various Khehora, and tamed beasts. They were a rather intimidating group, the oldest warrior woman especially, and he was only too happy to be on his way. Best that he didn't rile up a group that was more then capable of trouncing him into the ground after all.

Karayan is meandering about, as he is known to do, when he hears screams cutting through the air. Rushing toward the sound he finds a boat being attacked by a Peisio dragon! On his way to the boat he sees something terrifying, his friend Madryn Col being attacked and wounded in a devastating manner by the dragon. He takes out the dragon then quickly carries Madryn and his sister Sueno to a nearby healer in hopes that the boy will be able to be saved.

Karayan is hanging out in a tree when a little would be fruit thief appears! Instead of being angry though Karayan notices the little thief is injured! Bringing him inside he sees to it that Yrre is healed, fed, and cleaned up. He'd love to keep him but it seems the little thief has claws and isn't about to be kept.

Dropping of Mara Heads and Dragon Orbs
Karayan had arrived home the night before, tired from the journey but actually in a rather good mood. He'd been able to find and take on some of the Mara, something that pleased him greatly since they had been a challenging fight. He was also in a good mood because he was home, he always enjoyed coming home, but today he was excited for others reasons. Today he was going to go and visit with Marcus it would seem. His Gram told him it was important from time to time to bring the man Dragon Orbs, to prove ones courage and strength, as well as their loyalty to their people. It would go so happen that he would be delivering not only orbs but heads as well. It would be a good thing, it would prove that he was working hard for the Dovaa people, and he was just... well, happy.
"You are in a good mood, Kara." The older Firani woman said, patting Karayan on the head, giving him a smile, "Come on, you can't just stand there smiling forever though, you need to actually make to where Marcus is waiting." She teased him.
Karayan nodded, grabbing up two separate packs, one of which held the dragon orbs, each wrapped in cloth to keep them from knocking together, all five Kiandri orbs since he had a ton of them and they were quite neat looking. The way that they seemed to have lightning swirling inside of them. In the other pack, which was a lot bigger, were six Mara heads, all ready to be turned in for the bounty that was on them. He wasn't sure what the bounty was exactly, all he knew was that it had been a fun and challenging fight, not to mention fighting them helped him to protect his people because there were a few less of them roaming about.
"After this I want to go find Yrre, to tell him the good news!" Karayan said, then motioned to his Gram, with one full hand, "Shall we?" He asked, the two of them soon on their way, walking toward where Marcus would be today, "I tried to get him to come with him but he seems to be more the baking type and less the battling type. The stuff he makes is good but fighting with him would be fun too. I miss having people to adventure with, ever since Madryn got hurt..." He trailed off a moment, then shook his head, which sent the decorations on his horns to jingling, "Ah! No, never mind. I try not to focus on that. He will get better!" At least as better as he could get given the injury.
The woman gave a nod of her head, "You should look for Yrre, see if he wants to come over for dinner. It's going to be a little less crowded for the next couple days, at least until your little cousin Lane gets his Great Dragon Orb, then we will be having quite the party!" She said, clapping her hands, looking as though she were looking forward to another family gathering. They had them often but they were always good fun.
Karayan grinned, "Alright, after we drop this stuff off I will go and find him." He said, grinning happily. He would try to focus on the good stuff, instead of thinking to long and hard on what had happened to Madryn. If he got to thinking on it too much he ended up blaming himself for not being strong enough or quick enough to help his friend. He'd done what he could but what he could do at the time hadn't been enough. Damn Peisio... he shook his head again then turned back to his Gram, "Look, we are almost there." It was always exciting to go and do this. Sure, the man tended to be busy, was probably going to be that much busier now given the Mara situation, but even just getting to see him! It was an honor, one he didn't feel he quite deserved.
"You go on in, Karayan, I will wait for you here." The older Firani said, patting him on the back, watching him as he headed up the stairs and through the door, feeling quite proud of him that he was already at the stage where he was bringing in a second tribute to Marcus. Kara really was growing up.
Inside Karayan found things to be quite busy, with others that were bringing in Mara heads for the reward, even found himself ordered to get into one of the lines. Shrugging he did as he was told, waiting in the line, rocking in place, feeling almost instantly bored. When it was finally his turn he handed one bag over to the one in charge who counted them out, handed over some tokens, then he found him reaching for the other bag, "Ah! No, these are for Marcus, their Dragon Orbs, not heads." He said, swinging the bag back and out of reach, "Thanks for the tokens though." He was quick to sign a log book, which was keeping track of who brought in what it seemed, before he was ushered on his way.
What felt like forever later he found himself in the presence of the Dovaa Leader and again he couldn't help but to be star struck as he walked over, putting the bag down on the man's desk, "Dragon Orbs, five of them this time." He said, smiling up a storm, unable to exactly stand still as the man thanked him for his hard work for their people, gave him a bit of praise for his strength, and then Kara was on his way again. As he'd thought Marcus was busy, but that didn't matter to him, he was on cloud nine at the moment just over the fact that he'd been able to talk to the man, get praise from him, it made him want to try harder next time. For the moment though he needed to make his way outside, back to his Gram, and then after finding her he had to go and fine Yrre. Today was a day for celebrating and he wanted his little friend there too!
