After accessing the situation, taking in the three dragons that he had left to deal with, the distance between the dragons and himself, and where his fallen orb was sitting he gave a little nod to himself, "Alright, seems like it's time that I get going." He told himself, taking in a deep breath before he rushed forward, gathering sand as he went, wrapping it around his fists, making himself a new set of sand gauntlets. They were probably the best impromptu weapon ever though in the back of his mind he couldn't help but to wonder what else he might be able to create out of sand to use as a weapon. A sand forged sword or giant hammer could be rather useful he thought to himself as he went, using the sand to push himself up and into the air, coming down on the back of one of the dragons. Upon landing he stumbled a bit before running along the dragon's back, "This is a terrible idea but... hey, I bet it looks cool." Somehow he was sure that his grand mother was going to yell at him something fierce for such a trick but oh well, it was so worth it because he just felt so awesome!

As the Kiandri turned around to roar at him the young man drew back a fist and then swung, cracking the dragon good in the side of the head, sending it staggering a few steps. It was a good hit but he staggering sent Karayan tumbling off the side of it, landing on his back in the sand, "That... was painful." He muttered to himself, dragging in the breath that was knocked out of him even though it was a little painful to do so, before he sat up, "Alright, next round!" He said, making a motion with his hand that caused the sand to entangle the Kiandri's feet, allowing him to once more go about punching it, landing a few more good blows, the final one seeming to hit it just right, causing it to start to crumble away.

"Yes! One down, two to go!" He said, whirling around to meet the next one and gave a cry of surprise as its jaws snapped down on his arm... though by pure luck alone, something that Karayan seemed to live by, the dragon's jaws had closed on the sand gauntlet, keeping his arm from being chomped down on, "I already have enough scars on that arm, thank you very much." He told the dragon before he lifted his other hand up and set to work pummeling the dragon as fiercely as he could. While it wasn't his main hand he was still able to get in a few good blows, aiming mostly for the eyes, and blinded the dragon with the sand that encased his fists, each blow causing a bit of it to fall off due to the force of his punches. After several good, strong punches the dragon finally released his arm allowing for him to them bring his fists up over his head before bringing both down in sync on the dragon's head, bringing an end to the second one as swiftly as the first one.

As he turned to face off against the third one he took a tail to the midsection, something that caused him to go flying a good distance, his gauntlets crumbling away into nothing, before he hit the ground. The wind was knocked out of him, the sand not doing much to break his fall this time and instead only got into his eyes, and he lay there prone as the dragon came at him... only to be engulfed in the flames of his grand mother's magic, "Ahhh! Come on! I had him!" He said in a hoarse voice, trying to sitting up to prove that he could have done it... but seemed unable to get up as he wanted to do. Instead he just flopped down once more, laying there as hsi grandmother went around gathering up the orbs, handing three of them over to him, keeping one for herself, "Thanks."

"You didn't do too bad but you are more then a little reckless just like your father was. I think we will go over this battle, to help you figure out where you went wrong, then perhaps I might be inclined to let you hunt on your own." She was a bit reluctant but knew that he would do so sooner or later and she would rather him not sneak off to do so. Better that she knew where he was hunting at all times to keep him from getting into too much trouble she felt. Karayan was after all her beloved grandson and she didn't want to see anything bad happen to him nor did she want him to run off to play hero without letting her know where he'd gone. Having trust between them was the most important thing at the moment she felt. Holding a hand out to him she gave him a smile, "Come on, you can't lay around forever, Karayan, such a lazy boy."

Karayan gave a little laugh, reaching out to take her hand, glad for the help up. He set to brushing himself off, not as though he could get all the sand off given how much was clinging to him, before looking at her, "Did you see me? I ran across a dragon's back!" He said, grinning up a storm, wanting nothing more then to tell Madryn all about it!
