Grinch's Hideaway  Location:Grinch's Hideaway, as with the other males' areas, is located in the mountainous region that is on the map. Along with most other PL RPers, I am not strict on keeping them held to this location though. The PL lions seem to be quite a wandering lot.

Grinch's Hideaway
Plot Requests: Considering his RP relations, Grinch is sort of beginning to waver between trying to be a gentelion to wanting to go back to hiding away and his cove and disliking everything. Would love to play off of this idea.
Also, Grinch sort of keeps his den open to passerbys who may need anything.
Known as an old recluse who just didn't get the idea of traditions, fun, and general comradery, Grinch was left alone to his own devices.
His own devices were self-destructive. Not in the physical sense. Oh, no, but in the social sense. He backed away more and more from society, being seen less and less out of his own little clove that he called his territory: A spot ill-favored by the other lions, and so his 'ownership' went undisputed. The bitterness and anger to what no one knew grew and grew until one special day's eve he tried to destroy all the little and big cubs' fun and dreams.
What he was taught the next day was that a bond of friendship is greater than any outside destructive factor, and the heart untouchable was touched. Head high and movements swift in uncharacteristic, almost childlike, excited and friendly movements, Grinch came back to the pride and tried to begin establishing himself as a friend.
That journey is where we'll begin. After so much time of seclusion, and having been stuck so long in the same way of thinking, Grinch is in for a road of forward marching, steps back, and lots of struggles in his journey to become... social...

Ilori's Self-Imposed Banishment
 Plot Wanted:
Ilori grew up in the very loving Rose Petal Pride under very loving parents; however, he was a shy and backwards cub that opted out of many family events and so never got close to any member, nor gained a social understanding of the lions around him.
But he was happy. And he was secure. Far too secure--and when his family started to grow up and his siblings started to strike out, Ilori reacted violently. He fought and argued with his sister, Poinsettia, about her new boyfriend. He fought over other changes happening around him. In the end, he left the pride for the changes.
The truth never got out about Ilori's reactions. He was scared to death of all the changes, and scared he'd be left alone. Instead of waiting for what probably wouldn't have come, he caused it, and then sealed it.
Now he lives in remorse and regret, but still remains too frightened to face it. Instead of fear, it is sarcasm and anger that comes out any time he meets a lion of his past. He lives now with Grinch and the others, recognizing the disunification and impersonal nature of this odd bunch, and accepting as his lot in life.

Phoenix Shelley's Sanctuary
Note: Phoenix Shelley as a teen.
Plots Wanted: Phoenix Shelley's personality is based off an "empty slate" idea, really. He mimics those around him, and will take some qualities from various others he meets. Would love to have him meet a variety of people so he can "fill his slate!"
Phoenix Shelley is the cub-now-adult that just keept showing up at Grinch's den. Ilori has tried to get rid of him "a dozen times" with various lionesses, but he keeps showing back up, and apparently with no memory of the lioness he'd just been with.
Until he wandered off on his own one day as an adult, ran into Aika, and pretty much hit it off at first sight. It was a bumbling of a bunch of miscommunications, but it resulted in his having a "forever girl friend" and very soon after cubs. Greeaaat. Now what?
Phoenix Shelley seems to have a highly selective memory, and through no fault of his own. It takes him several, several times to learn something (hence even as an adult he has much to go over), and it seems that he doesn't have too much of a preprogrammed personality. (Read: As I RP him, he'll be picking up personality traits of the varying lions I've played him with, though I'm going to try to keep him from doing so much with my own lions.)
Phoenix Shelley is an empty glass that needs to be filled. Please come play with him and mold this lion to your will!!

 Plot Wanted:Nixxie is one of the darling offspring of Phoenix Shelley and Aika's very quick joining.
While she isn't quite as slow as her father, the poor dear has been raised by a father with a different out look on life. As innocence of a cub goes, she has bought into all sorts of strange ideas of how lions normally behave and how the world works. Until she can get out and learn differently, she is most certainly the gullible product of a fairly gullible union. This is not to say she is not intelligent, Nixxie will be found a quick learner once the opportunity to learn presents itself.
