Well, it had become quite Ilori's habit to roam about. Grinch had teased him that his spirit was beginning to get restless and it wouldn't be long before he left the hideaway for the last time. Ilori had replied with a glare and defiant shake of his head, but inwardly he knew the former was true and only hoped that the latter could be.
It was hot. It wasn't long before the lone lunar made his way down to the water and laid down on the moist ground near it. Wandering was nice, he got to learn more about the world, but it was even more lonely than being up top with the taciturn green lion. At least up there he had the option of speaking with someone...or trying to anyway.
Ilori heaved a big sigh and stretched out. "Mmmfftthhh...."
Yeah, that summed it all up right there.

Letting out a growl as she made her way towards her sleeping area, Haruki hobbled along, still thinking of the injustices she had endured. Granted, she had done something unforgiveable, but to be reminded of it every day? And to make matters worse, Almost every lion she met looked at her with either sympathy or fear. So what if she only had 3 legs? She got along just fine.
Nearing her pad, she let out another growl as she saw someone already there.

Ilori's head bolted right up and he immediately went to a sitting position when he heard the growl behind him, looking back to stare at the unhappy lioness behind him. He looked her over, then took a glance around. He tilted his head.
She was glaring at him. He hadn't even done anything!
"Eh--Can I help you?" He asked uncertainly.

Biting back a snappy reply, She simply walked over somewhat near the stranger and laid down on the cool earth, her tail in the water. It was nice and almost made her forget about her...company.
"What are you doing here?" she asked, a bit of venom in her voice.

Uncertainty edged Ilori's eyes as he watched this other lioness, his posture making it appear that she was beating him with her words.
But his voice was annoyed, "Same thing you are, it looks like. Trying to relax and not die of a heat stroke." His voice died down to a sigh, and something akin to defeat, "I'm sorry, if you'd rather me leave, I--" He looked away, not standing just yet though.

"Although i would perfer that you did leave, i cannot make you, nor will i be responsible if something would happen to you. So stay if you wish."
Her words were a little more gentle as she cooled off, body and temper. Letting out a sigh as she lay her head down, she eyed the male. She'd never seen one quite like him before, and she couldn't help but wonder what his background was. From the looks of him, he was a wanderer.
"Gonna tell me your name or should i just call you Fluffy?"

Ilori sighed a little at the liones's first words, a sigh that could either have been relief or an annoyed expression of, 'Make up your mind.' Or maybe that was just projection? They were both giving out mixed signals.
He looked back at her, "Fluffy works," an attempt at a joke, but without humor in his voice, "It feels like I've too much in this! Or I'll answer to Ilori. And you? Should I use Water Sprite?" He was familiar with water lions himself, his mother being one.
Ah, his mother. Ilori settled back into a lazy lay, the thought of Naida enough to calm him and decide to trust the new sprite. "Do you and your family live around here?"
