Gently kissing her hand, he then straightened, and led her towards the dance floor. "Well then... Let us dance, fair flower, that we might enjoy this song... It seems fitting a dance for such a bloom as you." As they walked out to the floor, a greenish skyfish began to swim lazily near them, over him. "I do appreciate the chance to escort your fair self, dear lady."

Heaven trailed quietly behind her sister, looking through half closed eyes at the goings on. Painfully shy she avoided looking anyone in the eyes keeping her gaze on her Sister. She followed her wanderings through the ball, trying to be as small and innocuous as possble- pretty easy for a freshling to do, and was lead to the snack table. Her eyes lit up to see the candy floss and she gladly shared it with her sister, feeling grateful to Neveah for being her sister and guide.

Looking around she caught sight of a table holding lots of shiney trinkets. She felt in her pocket and found she had her money with her and shyly she tugged Neveah's hand and pointed. Once Neveah saw where her sister was wanting to go and lead her over, Heaven screwed up her courage and silently handed the vendor her money, and looking carefully chose a heart locket. Wordlesly but with a smile of love she held it out to her whole world, her sister Neveah.

Oh boy this freshling was definitely overwhelmed. Alto wasn’t quite sure if he should try to go and get a caretaker but he knew getting an adult wasn’t always looked upon favorly by his age group. He’d put it back of his mind as an option however. The important thing was figuring out how to help. After all it’s why he had braved that giant crowd. The only problem was that her answer didn’t really give him much to work with.

“Well since you’re lost I guess the next thing is for me to ask if there is anything I can do to help. I can get an adult or find someone or… well something?” Alto asked a bit awkwardly. He was used to quite soft voices. His twin was practically under the definition of quiet soft voices. However there was a sort of steel when it came to his brother and Alto wasn’t sensing that steely inner core from the hybrid. It was more… cloudy. Okay… he needed to work on his inner thoughts. They were confusing even him. Seeing there was a punch nearby he quickly grabbed it. Having something in his hands or to sip on always helped when he wasn't sure what he was doing.


Suijin, while waiting for the bakeneko to acknowledge his question, grabbed another item from that free tray that a waiter or whatever they were called was carrying around. He frowned considering instead of food like he thought it was going to be it seemed to be a ring, as well it was his colors? He slipped it on his finger before realizing that the bakeneko was finally acknowledging him. Yep he was definitely a prankster.

“Ah yeah I can see where stepping on legos in those death traps would definitely make someone slip and with the punch so close, you might even get some one that gets an even worse surprise.” Suijin pointed out. It seemed like it was a pretty good prank, and would definitely teach the older kids that they had definitely lost it to ever think about wearing those monstrosities. It looked like it was murder on the feet. Why would anyone ever what to wear them? He blinked as he watched the prankster move to what suijin assumed was to hide behind him and smiled sweetly at the teacher. Luckily the teacher turned away.

Suijin, however then had to bite back a chuckle. “Pull a lot of pranks where you get caught?” he finally asked biting back his amusement. It wasn’t every day he got used as a teacher shield after all, and he wasn’t terribly taller than the other freshling. Actually they might even be around the same height, possibly.

Kara half nodded. She hoped Odessa was right, but there was a big part of her that knew she was letting her family down by being this way. Even though she had a lot of siblings, some already with kids, she couldn't help but feel a slight shame for it. Maybe they were right, maybe she'd eventually grow out of it.. but for right now she didn't see that happening. "Yeah.. maybe."

Odessa slightly frowned but she understood that what Kara was going through wasn't the easiest thing for her to accept. She gave Kara's hand a slight squeeze. "I promise. Just be yourself. Your family loves you, no matter what."

Irit inhaled the roses' scent. "They're so lovely.... Mao, you should get a sniff!" she said, giggling. Her cousin's unimpressed frown made her lower her head meekly, and instead, she shuffled a little to the side to grab some more. She just loved blue and yellow - she couldn't help herself.


As Irit played around in the flowers, Mao glanced to the side and noticed something on the floor glimmer. The freshling, ever-so-curious, scooted over to the area and kneeled down to get a closer look - it was a pure white heart encircled by a dark red-pink locket. "T-this is...kind of pretty," she said, huffing a little. She picked it up and slipped it in her pocket - despite it being so nice, she would wait until she could polish it nicely before she would wear it.

Laurel breathed a tiny sigh of relief as they exited the building and the cool night air washed over them. It was much better for cooling down than trying to fan herself, and the quality of the air felt much fresher, less heavy. She like people, but sometimes you have to break away from the crowd! She took Flax's hand and they just wandered for a bit, no particular destination in mind, just enjoying the fresh air and being in each other's company.

Laurel tilted her head back as they walked and looked up at the stars. She'd always enjoyed them, and if divination didn't pan out she was thinking about going into astrology. "Let's find somewhere to lay down and look at the stars for a bit," Laurel suggested. Thankfully there were a few benches they could sit on so her hair didn't get messed up nor their clothes messy from the grass, though she honestly wouldn't have cared much.

"Pink," Annie repeated to himself as his eyes were scouring the booth. Despite the variety available, there didn't seem to be many options for pink flowers! Well, maybe purple would work. They looked like his mom's eyes, at least! The little Fey finally made a decision, pointing a stubby finger at a healthy-looking bouquet, which the tired-looking booth assistant handed over. It was so big, Annie could barely hold it, the tiny freshling getting whacked with the sudden scent of roses. But he grinned over his flowers at his friends, his wings wiggling a bit. He hoped his mom would like it!
