She returned back into the thick of things, Aetherjelly in tow. Maybe if this familiar went well, she'd adopt some more, she thought. Maybe some crocobees and fluffbugs could assist her with her gardening, pollinating the flowers. It was definitely a thought. Plus, Annie would help her with any difficulties she had taking care of them! He was so good with animals, the little guy.

As she wandered through the crowds in the general direction of the games, the hybrid suddenly felt a plush underfoot. She jumped back, and picked up the little green kirin plushie. Raleka frowned and brushed some dirt off the fabric. Someone must have dropped this little guy and not noticed! She added him to the pile before honing in on a game booth she wished to try.

Her face flushed again, though this time in pleasure rather than exertion, and she examined the pretty little necklace. She'd seen them around, but hadn't thought to get one for Flax. She just wasn't good at spontaneous romance, and as much as Flax assured her that it was okay she still felt like she should be doing better at it.

Laurel tried to decide if she should say or do something. To give herself a bit more time she put her hand back to grab her drink and encountered something...soft? She jumped a little and looked around to see a dark aetherjelly, hovering above the table. It appeared they had come up behind Laurel and had gotten super close. "Hey there, little fellow. Where'd you come from," she wondered curiously, though there was a spark of amusement as well. It seemed they really were attracting all sorts of typically aquatic familiars tonight.

"Aw, they look so cute," Samara commented, reaching out her hand and twiddling her fingers to see if the skyfish was interested in inspecting them. She'd heard Heru's muttered comment. "Slimes seem to get along okay with other familiars just fine, though mine gets jealous when I give attention to my jackalope," she said, shaking her head and chuckling a bit. She chose not to add that her slime was of the sub-type that looked distinctly like an Elf.

"On to the next game," she declared, ready to have some more fun and hopefully collect more prizes. "See anything that catches your interest?" It was only fair to let Heru choose some of the games; she didn't want to be too overbearing, since some people could resent when you took the leadership role and never let go.

While she waited, she took a sip of Orange Punch.













Kama noticed a forgotten Pink Unicorn Plush at his feet while he waited, and scooped it up.














Niamh's new friend dragged a green unicorn plush over to her.

“mmm most of the Below familiars I have to admit are rather on the cute side, although we have some rather cute ones as well” Horus mused watching as Dagon swam around happily. It eventually decided to nibble lightly on Samara’s offered fingers. “hmm that’s good, although I probably shouldn’t have really worried. Wedjet is an imp like familiar so he'll probably love the company.” And he had yet to meet an unfriendly imp although he knew they had to be out there. He refused to stereotype people for the most part, or at least tried his hardest not to.

Was there anything that caught his interest? What did he want to win trinket wise. At the moment everything was mostly couple geared although the jewelry wasn’t too bad, if only a bit more heart like then he preferred. “Well there is a shooting game over there, there is also a puzzle that might be interesting. Truly I don’t mind on whatever game we get next”

What he didn’t notice however was that as his attention was turned towards looking at the booths, another fluffbug seemingly snuck into horus’s bag to make itself all comfy. Luckily when he did notice it at the end of the night. It was met with a found sigh before the bug and Rem made a beeline for the nearest plant in his room to curl up. However that was still a couple hours later.

"I think she likes pink," he responded, wilting a bit at the fact that he'd already lost a game to get some of these flowers twice. The number of prizes to choose from were really overwhelming, he noticed. There were all sorts of arrangements and combinations littered about, and Annie wondered if his mom would even like any of these. "I think maybe she'd like that pink and blue one," he finally decided, pointing with his small hand. "What about yours?"

Just after he asked the question, he felt a little creature pulling at the hem of his pants. Huh? he thought, looking down to investigate, and found a little Cockatriel pulling at his shorts! Annie laughed, reaching down to pick it up, and its little claws dug into his sleeve. Looks like he'd made yet another friend tonight!

Kara thought about Odessa's words for a while. She wasn't sure what to think. There was a part of her that was slightly lonely, but she wasn't sure if she could ever find someone like that. It was something that had always made her different than everyone else, even when she was small. Was it so bad to not have that kind of interest? If her parents had a say they would definitely say yes, and perhaps that was why it bugged her so much. She wanted to meet their approval, but at the same time.. she also just wanted to be herself.
