"My pleasure to meet you," smiled Cae to the priestess. Once a soldier meant he got the chance to see different kinds of priestesses. Order and ranking were a must in a kingdom for stability, he fully understood that concept. However, he won't change his attitude easily just because someone was of a higher rank. Anyway, Damaris seemed to be fine to get along, that was good news to him. The time he spent in the clan gave his the wisdom that one can't use one single attitude towards different people.
He would have evaded the question of his specialization if the Conquest lady wasn't in interest. As a soldier, he could proudly say he was great at his strength. It wasn't rare to carry a young priestess on his shoulder in an assault from foe. Unlike War which preferred to fight every battle, the Death clan appreciated the more efficient way of doing things. If a battle was better to be avoided, he would do so. That didn't mean he was a coward or such, just when he wasn't alone and got someone to protect.
On the other hand, he was quite new to jewelcrafting. Most of the time, he traveled around places for new materials and ores. He enjoyed getting inspiration from the nature. "Terr right? I'm not specialized in anything yet. You can say I'm exploring different stuff to know myself better. Well, to you, I might be of apprentice level." Cae laughed. "I enjoy my job and like what I make." The tall jewelcrafter hooked up an antique amulet around his neck, "I think you understand the pride and satisfaction when the hinger ranks wear what you make as a craftsman."
Thinking his answer was good enough, he turned to BingHua. "I hope I don't pronounce your name incorrectly, Bing-Hua?" He waited a while for her response before he went on. "To be honest, I'm interested in both styles. However, it really depends on the preference of the user themselves." Cae's voice gave a hint of uplifting, one might notice the black diamond plug sprinkling on his earlobe. "As long as the user themselves are happy, I'm fine. After all, they're the one who'll use them, not us." His words gave a good clue that how adaptive the horseman was to enviornments.

"A pleasure to meet you both, Terr, Bing Hua." She tried her best to mimic the way the other pronounced her name. It was really pretty.
Even with having kept her voice to herself, Damaris was rather interested in the others work as well. Much of the gleaming gems were that of warm shades of a sunset; Orange, red with hints of purple. All rings as she hadn't found anything of use to adorn her wrists. And she had been certain she had wanted to add ringlets to the base of the antlers on her cloaks headdress. A passing thought but one she would love to do.
"As it is also mine, Cae." Her smile spread just a smidge before admiring the other's amulet and other varying accessories the other seemed to be wearing.
They did bring a near child-like wonder when she saw what Jewelcrafters could construct for the clan and it never ceased to amaze her the many ways metals and gem stones could be woven into. Damaris had, unfortunately, never really been all too skilled in such a department but rather admired her fellow Horsemen for being able to do so.
Hearing the others introduce themselves, Damaris does her own dutiful respects of being who she was and smiled at the other Jewelcrafter and Conquest Noble. The have such a guest of another clan was as interesting as it was welcome. The more minds and information that could be gather would be best.
"I'm not... Entirely versed in your style but, perhaps... Did you make this?" Her own ring-cluttered hand rose, open palmed in a gesture to the amulet. She should have known better but everything was a learning experience. And it was too lovely for her to not want to get an answer.
Character's name: Damaris Character's clan: Death - [Priestess] Character's journal link: [ JOURNAL ] Character's Arcana: Strength (Group B) BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF MY CHARACTER: 5'8". Preferring to stay underneath her furry friend, Damaris is pale with a pair of striking silver eyes peering through.
While his hands were moving on their own accord, his mind kept getting tugged and pulled back into his uncertainties. Why was he worrying about this so much...? if he didn't know something then maybe it wasn't all that important. At least that's how he usually saw things. But this was different.. it was nagging and unrelenting in its pursuit to gain his full attention.
Baldr continued his perusing, the chatter from other visitors just white noise in the background for him, not really paying attention to the words slipping from their lips. His eyes didn't blink for prolonged periods of time, as if adding to the trance like state he'd fall into when his mind would wander. But it was when a voice piped up, that broke through the rest of the idle chit chat, that the stallion was able to come to from his stupor. Blinking a few times to refresh himself, colourless eyes flicked over to hone in on the source of the prompting voice.
At first he looked over the individual, before snapping his attentions to the wares that were in the strangers possession. They weren't of the Death crew, that was his first note. Even more interesting though were the materials that they were offering, making Baldr step closer to close their distance. Grinning to the Famine horseman, he extended a hand to casually pluck up one of the shells, turning it this way and that, feeling its surface, "Can't say I've seen these before." .... or could he...? it was hard to trust what he did and didn't know now. "What would you recommend these would work best for?" doubting himself, as much as he hated it, Baldr wanted to at least test and see if his instincts were still intact. That he could live with.

Read PART 2 of the main storyline HERE before interacting with this post!
THE DEADLINE FOR THIS GOAL IS JUN 9TH AT 12:00 AM PST
It's impossible to tell if anyone from the Death floor actually noticed the power going out, since the place was usually even dimmer and the red lights actually made the place look slightly more pleasant. However, some Death horseman was yelling angrily about something about servers going down and that somehow seemed important enough to be interrupted for some work collecting Fear. Didn't they usually get War horsemen to do that kind of stuff?

System outages were bad for business. Tyr knew this acutely. It didn't matter if it was in the human world or in the world here in the Dusk, power was important and kept the lifeblood of the clans flowing freely. A disruption like this was felt acutely and immediately. His watch and phone were buzzing absolutely off the hook.
They just didn't have enough backup systems here, everything was so tied to the crystal, it was a bit of a pain.
Still, he was all polite smiles and dressed in his best and most shiny attire as he moved to a place of visibility where he could field any questions which needed to be fielded and keep track of what crystals were coming and going. His face looked more sinister lit by the pale sickly illumination of a phone screen.
"Right everyone." he said. "Lets get this moving, productivity drops when we are down like this and the enemies out there are moving unwatched and uncontrolled. This won't do."
He clapped. "Fear! You know how to get it, you know where to get it, let's get going! Lets show them Death isn't defeated by a little outage. Any problems, I'll be here."
Next on his agenda was checking in with the Lead, stopping by Circe "We are doing what we can ma'aam." he said. "Any news on the source?"

[Death Commons]
Terr did not like having no lights in his room. Which is why he's here depositing FEAR infused crystals for the clan.

The Death Common Floor seemed to thankfully be back online by the time he returned. Bjorn had not done as much as he knew he was capable of, and his crystal was not glowing as bright as he knew he could make it, but dread drove Bjornbrandr back to The Dusk more than anything else. He could not work without knowing what he was working for--more than just the return of power, what had caused it? Why had there been no word given to them on the system wide messaging service? Bjorn was no heir, certainly, but the herd deserved to know, right? They were trained warriors, surely the upper echelon didn't think they would begin a panic at the details...
Or perhaps he was moving beyond his rank. Only one way to find out. Bjorn's antsy fingers curled around the crystal as he approached both the assisting heir and the leader of the clan.
"Sir Tyr. The Lady Circe." Bjorn bowed his head to both before giving his crystal away to a tech that apparently knew how to infuse its energy into the larger, cracked one. Even in a softer conversational tone, it was as if the guardian's voice were trying to echo across the commons. "Beg pardon, but is there any news as to the suspects of this crime? I am having trouble thinking the crystal would malfunction."

Tyr had been helping to direct the crystals to their correct locations, intently seeking to get the power back online and with them the dusk's server cluster but he paused in his work to listen carefully to what Bjorn had to say. Truth be told he wasn't one hundred percent certain what the root cause of the event had been but was for the first time in a few hundred years truly angry about it.
No one took out his power and damaged the productivity of his fellow death horsemen without paying dearly for it.
He looked to Circe with a nod, it was after all her choice on what their kinsmen needed to know at the moment and what may well jeopardise efforts to stop the ongoing events.
"Whoever it was" he said breaking his normal smiling front to seriousness. "I have no doubt we will see to them, but I admit I too am curious"

She bowed her head just as graciously as Bjorn approached, always polite. It was just her alone today, the Head Priestess's procession of other Priestesses missing, probably busy with the task at hand. Eye contact, and a comfortable smile was given to Tyr as well.
"You are correct, Guardian. The crystal did not break of its own accord. Something is infesting it, depleting it. A great impurity I am afraid that will only be cleansed by pure, undiluted Fear. So as I have seen it."
With a great amount of control, she pulled her smile a little warmer.

"Infesting?" His eyes became shadowed by his furrowed brow. "Not like a..." Bjorn made a helpless gesture as he thought before nodding at Tyr, who would certainly more about this than he did. "Virus? The computer kind? Who or what could have brought that on so suddenly?"
Meanwhile, magically, it seemed Bjorn's crystal had extra life in it.

Stopping by to drop off some of the fear that she had collected, Fenette grabbed another necklace and quickly headed out again.
Terr returned carrying clothing of all things along with a FEAR crystal. He did not linger long. He had a lot more FEAR to go and collect.

She pursed her lips at this additional question, just a light twitch. "A question becomes another question, then. You come to a path and in front of you are a child and a mother. You may only save one of them, which one would you choose?"
For a moment, the crystal in Bjorn's hand looked green, not red.

Rep figured that Death would have gotten their s**t sorted out pretty quick given how reliant they were on power, their servers and portals integral to the functioning of the clans. If Death had a role within the greater tower it was the molten core of manufacturing and research. They provided both they raw data and the raw materials for famine and conquest, keeping the wheels of the tower turning.
He found the priestesses intimidating to say the least, unnerved by both their abilities and what they represented, a feminine power that was out of his reach. Along with that intimidation went a strong and passionate hatred which had grown over the years from sheer bitterness. He would never be able to be Harrison's priestess, no matter how hard he tried or how long he waited and that fact itself was something that dug deep claws into him. He wanted what they had, he wanted to learn more than anything else and spent a lot of his time running errands for the individuals he hated so much in the hope that one day, through some sort of miracle he'd passively learn how to tap into the latent ability that Harrison possessed to be one with someone else if he chose, but only if that person was a woman.
Things were pretty crazy here at the moment, normally somewhat quiet and peaceful, but he supposed that it was ******** hard to get a server cluster going and wasn't something that you could just do easily. Perhaps War would be best helping out here next.
Spotting Circe he bowed his head and got the ******** out of there before he was asked what he was doing and had to answer he was slacking.

"I..." The high priestess's abrupt change in subject caught him off guard. That in tandem with the crystal's color shift made Bjorn pause. Was that a brand of magic Circe possessed? A test of some sort? Wait, didn't he remember the larger crystal being green too...?
"The child," he answered after a moment. Had he thought there was more time to think, he could have asked questions, but he doubted the high priestess would care to make it complicated; his gut knew the answer regardless.
