It had taken Terr some time to find his balance. The shoes he'd chosen from the available pool of Modernization clothing made him feel attractive and if his clothing had just allowed it, he was certain it also accentuated the curvature of his behind.
Pity there was no one to notice this new feature of his. But at the same time, he was fortunate that apart from the first Famine Horseman from earlier, no one yet would be witness to his less than elegant gait along the corridors. Perhaps once he managed to learn how one was supposed to walk (and eventually run and maybe fight) in these, he could see to customizing some for himself.

Oh poor Terr, you see, there was someone who was going to witness your terrible choice in footware, that horrible sinful choice to even ware shoes in the first place.
Rohim gawked in terror, flat golden eyes going wide in dark sunkent sockets as he watched the horsemen stumble about on what looked like toothpicks for footware.
“No! NO NO NO NO!” The small famine scavengers voice a harsh chorus of hissing bugs as he shouted at the other horsemen, “What is this!?” He rushed towards the Death horsmen. His tattered purple scarf flipping up as a pair of ratty bug wings unfolded behind him to launch him in a long leap right in front of Terr and his sinful shoes.

Terr thought he had his balance. The sudden string of repeated syllables had him suddenly needing to brace himself against a wall. Unfortunately, he was nowhere near a wall. And with a witness present? There would be no wild flailing of arms in a futile attempt to continue the fight against gravity, much as the Death Horseman would have wanted to do so.
And as the Famine Horseman continued their rant about Terr's chosen footwear steered towards a series of unfortunate accidents, the jewelry maker fully gave up the fight and simply. Toppled over. Right on top of the small bug-riddled horseman. While Terr maintained the dignity of silence, on the inside? He was screaming. And said screaming intensified.

Rohim had closed the distance between them in a flash, the small thing famine horsemen a flury of movement as his wings tucked away under his scarf. Angry gestures at Terr’s feet. Another pointing up at him, then his feet again. Words about impractical, conquest influenced madness, modernization, all of them cursed on multiple times as his chorus of bug like voice grew in number and intensity.
He was almost entirely unaware of how off balance Terr was in that moment, at least he was unaware until the taller horsemen, now made artificially even taller toppled forward into him with a crash.
If Terr wasn’t screaming aloud, Rohim was, and it wasn’t a worded scream. His eyes where still wide, but shaking with rage as a series of swarming bugs seemed to scream from inside his mouth, a howl of the desert enraged.

It was a shame that Terr's internal shrieking could not and would never be externalized. It was very possible that the screams of the Death Horseman and the Famine Horseman would resonate and blend in a wonderful aria of unmitigated mutual disgust. Tempting as it was to mirror the Famine's frantic reaction, Terr had far too much... no it was not composure nor dignity.
What it was that kept Terr's own emotions in check was self-loathing and so he quickly (because silence did not necessarily mean lethargy) pushed himself off of the small Famine. Also Terr would much rather not be in contact with the insects of horsemen he was neither familiar not friendly with.
Dead-pan and with a stare that only further emphasized the deep bags of Terr's eyes, the Death horseman sat down with his legs crossed and waited for the other clan-member to calm down. Or something to that effect.

Terr's actual reaction to Rohim screaming he get off:

had been more people might have stopped to look at the two tangled horsemen laying on the floor in a pile of limbs and frustration. What ever was keeping the horsemen from reacting seemed to bother Rohim more, it was like even though they had just fallen into one another that the jeweler was simply ignoring his entire existence while insulting his sense of footwear.
Now the benefit of all this was that Terr untangled from him rather quickly for such a stoic and non active figure. He was sitting across from a buzzing Rohim in just a matter of seconds. The smaller famine scurrying back a bit on his butt using his hands and feet to pull away. Though thankfully the enraged shouting (buzzing?) had stopped.
Leaning forward Rohim got onto his feet crouching across from the sitting, and still somehow taller then him horsemen. “This…. Is why…. We don’t ware those things” he said gesturing at Terr’s feet with clear discontent.

Terr was not an antagonistic sort of horseman, or at least he wasn't an openly antagonistic sort of horseman. Being openly antagonistic required a level of effort from him that he always felt and believed was better channeled into his pieces. And it was much more normal an act for him to metaphorically lie down and play dead in less than ideal social situations.
But sometimes he gets pushed and in those rare cases where he really wasn't in the mood, he snaps. Just a little. Because moderation and control were still very much watch words just like the way the Famine Horseman screeched about.
"Learning is a never-ending process. Refusing to engage in a difficult task when it is required of us isn't just committing to incompetence but to willful incompetence." As he spoke, he purposefully adjusted the hem of his pant legs to further showcase what Terr personally thought were lovely high heels.

Rohim wasn't antagonistic, well, not in violent sense at least. This however did not give a valid reason for his constant outbursts over Modernization as it was brought up outside of things he deemed practical like cell phones.
"Do not lecture me on learning, do you not hear the sound of my voice?" A series of buzzing voices mingled into one. "See the sun bleached skin? Sunken eyes? Gold eyes? Famine. We seek all knowledge and consume it!" He scowled, "What I do not see is a reason we must ware such impractical items that leave you wobbling about like a drunken stick bug."
Terr canted his head as he stared, blank faced, shoulder slack, at the buzzing little Famine. Why couldn't he have run into another laid back and, more importantly, quiet Famine Horseman like Peril? He let out a sigh through his nose, "Then why do you not understand that said difficulty must be mastered in order to blend in with the humans? Wobbling about would draw unnecessary attention as much as traipsing around in bare feet." Despite the Death Horseman's monotone, he somehow managed to give an unsaid sentiment of duh at the end.

Rohim sat cross legged on the floor across from Terr now as he was studied, it was clear neither of them where holding the other in high regard right now.
"Mastery of a foolish concept that will get you killlllled." He gestured down to his feet, bare, then to Terr's, "Practical nature, sandal or boots, or those called sneakers. These high heels offer nothing but draw backs!"
He scowled, "Your body language in those heels says 'I am a fool look at me gaze on my stilted wobbling foolishness' as you stumble about. Not subtle. No, not at all."
