Solo- Learning how to fightLooking over in the mirror to make sure the final touches to her coat were to what she wanted it to look like and to reflect some of her personality into it as well. Satisfied that the coat looked good with her scarf and her clothing underneath that Tori smiled just a little. “So Aklin, you were once one of those creatures of Halloween?”
Tori gave a little chuckle to that question. She had wanted to learn how to fight for a long time and once got in trouble for it when she had tried. Her mother especially said that it wasn’t lady-like to learn that type of thing and it was the job of her bodyguard to do that type of thing anyways. “Ummm, not really, I wasn’t aloud to learn how. But I have read a little about it but no practical knowledge,” she replied sheepishly.
Aklin sighed as it was going to be lots of work.
It might have been a long time since Tori has trusted anyone as the only people that at one point she thought she could trust just wanted her money and nothing more. But Aklin was so very different and he filled in the part of her that was always alone. “I trust you with my life,” she answered with no hesitation in her voice as it was all true and it felt good to have someone to trust even if she was the only one that could hear him.
he said warmly as Tori could feel him smile with pride and joy as she could feel that they were no longer alone they had each other and that was all that Tori could have ever wanted.
“That is a good idea,” she replied as that was one thing she hadn’t thought of since she really hadn’t handled a weapon like Aklin before or any other weapon for that matter. “Well let’s go find the place then, Aklin,” Tori replied as she walked out of her room and out of the dorms too. It didn’t take them too long in finding the training grounds well one Tori asked someone were they could practice.
“Alright,” Tori said and wishing that she did have a note book of some kind with her to be taking notes.
Tori nodded as she summoned her partner to her hands to which she almost once more dropped him since he was heavy and the chain part of the weapon clanked to the ground since she had total missed catching it.
Aklin again sighed.
“But you’re heavy…”
Aklin answered sternly.
Tori grumbled a little as she picked up the chain off the ground and thought that this chain might become a tripping hazard. “Well you are right about working out as I did go soft when I was in that pod and work on getting back into better shape. So how do we want to start?”
Tori took a deep breath as she relaxed but not enough to drop her partner on the ground. Once Aklin felt his hunter relax did he take control over her movements slowly and carefully he showed her the basics of using a sword, how to strike, how to block and to which Tori was glad he was sharing and helping instead of just letting her fumble her way on how to wield her sword. After some time Aklin lessened his control as his little filly got the hang of the basics as they spent hours teaching and practicing.
Tori just chuckled a little at her weapons want to ask questions. “Alright and I’m getting hungry too and I think next time we come and practice to make sure to bring water,” she answered. “Just make sure that you ask questions that I can answer this time,”
Aklin answered as he giggled. Tori rolled her eyes as she unsummoned Aklin and headed back up to her room to get a shower and something to eat after words.
