"Bawwww, lookit the ickle cutie." She hadn't expected Otto to say yes, so it came as somewhat of a- she hoped pleasant- surprise. Grinning, she walked over to him, ruffling his hair.
"Good boy," Reine teased, and then she caught Eva's glance, along with the smirk on the other girl's face. Simultaneously, both girls slipped their arms through Otto's, effectively shackling him to them.
"Let's go!" she echoed, pulling Otto-and-Eva along, towards the door. "Hang on- anyone got a map? No? Oh well!" Her tone remained cheerful, regardless. Unless they met the Doctor again, it was probably safe to wander around... right?

DOUBLE TEAMED!?!?!"What the Hell are you two crazy chicks up to?!" Otto grouched, looking from one girl to the other. And now he was being led away? He had half a mind to flip them head over heels onto that dead golem and run away!! That was the problem though, he barely had half a mind. 8| ((Exiting))The moral of the story?

The explanation didn't really help a whole lot as far as Deryk was concerned. But, he guessed that he'd find out what the whole deal about this partner thing would be soon enough. Turning around, he saw Otto and two girls basically leading each other away.
With a shrug, he just went on after the others to head to this cove.

So it was because of these 'partners' they had woken from their long slumber. Can't say she was upset about that. It was nice to be up and moving again. Stretching out her limbs, she glanced to the Ceres girl when she looked to her and Ryan. She nodded to her and Ryan. Kat would head to the cove, but on her own time.
Standing to her feet, a cheshire grin spread across the woman's face. With the b***h fit between Otto and Eva, she couldn't help but think the two were already off in a relationship. How cute. She used to baby sit kids like Otto. 'Problem children' as she used to call them. Maybe this 'Deus ex Machina' facility would train that aggression out of him..or increase it.
Shrugging at her thoughts, she moved for the door, mock saluting the white haired man, Bix. "Thanks for the tour." With that, she left to wander a bit before heading to the cove. First mission--was finding coffee.

A girl on each arm already, Otto? That's a pretty impressive start.
"Just making sure we don't lose you while wandering around." Eva replied easily, her lips still pulled up in a grin. Eva was already starting to like Reine despite the fact that they had just met. She suspected that training--and just hanging around--with the other girl would prove to be very interesting indeed.
She turned her grin to Ceres next, jerking her head in the direction of the door. "Let's get going." Raising her free hand, she wriggled her fingers in goodbye to everyone else before heading out.

Wilson smiled at Minerva, although she was preoccupied with something else—not that he could blame her. It was nice to know that he wasn’t the only one who preferred chatting face-to-face.
Dr. H’s explanation confused him. His partner had chosen him? How? Had his partner been watching him during the test? Wilson sighed and rested his forehead against the table, choosing to give up on the questions and to just accept things as they were. Hopefully, they would explain themselves with time.
Wilson looked up at Ryan and nodded his head. “Yeah, I think I’ll go too.” He got out of his seat, turning around to wave at Minerva before he moved toward the exit. “I’ll see you around…Minerva, was it? Yeah.” Some of the other candidates were leaving or had already left, and he strode past them and out the door.

Tedan frowned slightly at the rather less than helpful explanation about their 'partners', watching as several of the others left the room. He sighed softly, still sitting in his desk, thinking. Which was admittedly something he didn't do a whole lot of usually - unless he had to. He did want to fight, wanted to DO something about the monsters preying on humanity. But. At the same time, all of this was really weird.
Golems, partners, some kind of secret base training facility thing ... it sounded like a bad video game. Was this even real?
Staring down at his hands for a moment, he flexed fingers, then sort of randomly pinched himself. Ow, okay well it felt real enough. He made a low noise in the back of his throat. Okay, fine. He pushed up out of his desk and waggled fingers at Bix in a sort of wave as he headed for the door. Partner, here I come. Whoever you are.

Blinking a few times, Ceres found herself staring at Kat momentarily, wondering why in the world the girl would choose to stay in here?
"Huh?" She called over Eva, seeing the grin out of the corner of her eye while she was distracted. "Oh! Yes." She found herself looking around... as if to pick up something she forgot? Huh, weird. She did not have anything so she scooted around the chair, and followed the group of people as they headed for the cove.

Vanessa gave a slight nod when the Doctor excused himself and them, noting that the directions that everyone seemed to get and give. She stood, brushing off her cargo pants before looking toward Minerva. She gave the other woman a little wave, and said quietly as she passed the other's desk, "I'll talk to you later, alright?" Vanessa gave her a nod, then looked to the doorway.
As she passed Bix, she gave him a slight nod and said, "If I feel the need, I will surely take you up on that offer. Thank you for it." Then continued on her way, following the others in the direction they were supposed to go.
Her partner better be ready for her, because she was on her way.

In the end, that Dr. H fellow was right. You just had to deal with it. Sherry eyed the body-doll thing that was oozing mud and gunk onto the floor. Just deal with it. Magic, crazy technology...Accepted.
She looked up as Dr. H began talking about partners. A partner? Her partner was the reason she was awake? She would have to thank her partner, when she met them. She wondered what they might be like. Someone to show her the ropes and give her a hand? Someone to act as a guide in this strange new life? Sherry wanted this. She wanted to be good at this. Perhaps a partner was just what she needed.
Dr. H left almost as suddenly as he had entered. The Cove. That was where she would need to go to meet her partner. Bix spoke up. Sherry wondered at his words. Clingy? He made it sound like the type of buddy system where you do everthing together. This likely meant her partner would be her roomate. Sherry hadn't had a roomate in ages. Hope we get along.
She stood even as others were leaving the room. No sense in keeping her partner waiting. She'd been sleeping for months already-hopefully they hadn't been waiting that whole time. Giving a nod of thanks to Bix, Sherry went to go see who was waiting for her at the cove.

Aleister seemed a bit perplexed at all this information, and the lack of it. When Dr. H mentioned the cove he lofted a brow, hoping it wasn't a particularly dangerous place.
He frowned when Dr. H left and Bix mentioned that if they needed a few moments they should take it now before they meet their partners. This didn't sound particularly well... giving the fact that people, after a while, got annoyed because he jumped at every shadow there was.
He gave a small nod and headed towards the door. He hoped the cove wasn't that scary, so far the rooms had been, okay... Maybe everything here is okay, was the thought in his head. I shouldn't be afraid here, they wouldn't let anything happen to us...
With these thoughts in his head he marched on to find his partner.

"See ya..." Minerva murmured to those who were already on their way out, still seated herself as the rush of information slowly began to sink in. To Vanessa, she smiled and gave a single thumbs-up. "I look forward to it." Perhaps she should have left with group, or at the very least with Vanessa as the women had gone only minutes before Minnie decided to stand...Yeah, she probably should have gone with her.
But she hadn't. And now she stood by her lonesome--stalling.
First she would need directions, and from Bix she would get them. Then she would go to the cove, which she figured wouldn't be too far from their current location--then again she didn't know how large the island was. But THEN, once at the cove, Minerva would find this destined partner. Okay.
Nodding in silent confirmation, the woman abaondoned the white room and ventured toward the Cove. ((Exit!))

Amongist all the people in the room, Dakota was sitting in the far corner. He knew why he was here, being picked up by a recruiter, he just didn't know why they chose him.
Of course it could be that he could see these beings. And that he so readily to agree to get here. He would....have a mission to find that fire demon if it was the last thing he could do.
He badly wanted to talk to the other's but just as he woke from his spacing out, the man was directing them to go to a Cove.
Partner? Dakota raised an eyebrow. He'd come this far. There was no turning back now.

Before Wash could respond to the concerned looking girl sitting near him, a gunshot went off in the rather small room.
Wash was one of the last to leave his seat, eyes fixed on the dummy the doctor so easily dismissed. He didn't hear Clarice confirming her fine health over the phone - he couldn't tear his senses away from the sadly crumpled and oozing figure on the floor.
As everyone began to file out, he approached it tentatively, kneeling next to it to check -
Mud?! He wrinkled his nose. This was...Well, he didn't really have a word for it. It reminded him of the sort of silliness they might've made as kids. Little mud voodoo dolls, with tiny bits of grass sticking out... But this was somehow significantly less funny.
At least it wasn't blood and guts, whatever it was. Maybe it was just a traininig dummy. Yeah. He hadn't really seen it move, right? Must've been on wheels.
He got up and left stiffly, following the last trickle of other students.

Tori had quietly come into the room as she was unsure to approach the others to start talking as she was just little nervous about it, so she had kept to herself and sat towards the back of the room.
Jumping a little in her seat when the hooded figure came in with a woman following, Tori calmed down her nerves as she listen to them and then the woman had been shot by this Dr. H as she had been surprised by the shooting and just kept quite still in shock but still watching this Dr. H person. She was glad that it had been a golem but it was still shocking none the less to watch.
Cocking her head to the side when it was said they would be getting partners as that was something new to her as before she had been mostly alone. Tori was even more intrigued that there partner had already chosen them and she had to wonder just who her partner was going to be. Seeing the others leave and then leaving her self as she was going to head for the cove.
