Arriving at the cove Tori was a little hesitant at first to enter but she did as she wanted to know who this partner that had chosen her. Descending down the stairs that lead into the darkness as she kept her hand on the stairwells wall were she wouldn’t fall down them and she was a little glad that she was alone as she didn’t want to make any bad impressions of herself to the others.

Getting to the bottom of the stairs she could see that the room wasn’t all that big and to her it was very small compared to the room of her old life. Taking a look around the room to see that that there was only one torch light in the room but at the far wall she could see something glowing on it. Walking towards those lights she called out “Is there anyone here?” As she didn’t know what her partner was going to look like and no one had told her anything more than to come here.

Once at the wall Tori could see that all the glowing was coming from runic tablets set into the wall. Looking at all of them as she could see in the tablets different type of weapons and she thought that she really didn’t know how to weald any of them. But she was still curious to know if the one that chosen her was here or would it all be for nothing and proven that she was indeed a failure.

Carefully Tori brushed one of the tablets with her hand feeling a faint odd sensation and now she could hear a faint sound that sounded like water. Quickly she withdrew her had from the wall, as that wasn’t something she was expecting.

“What who said that,” She said when heard the voice as she turned around looking around the room for the source of the voice as she had her back to the wall of runic tablets.

Tori was now really confused that the voice was behind here but all she saw was those tablets and to the question she was asked. “Yes there is and why did you want to know,” she replied still sort of looking around to see if someone was getting a laugh out of this.

Hesitantly she brushed the wall again touching several of the tablets and this time the sensation was more and touched one of them that looked to be a gun of some sort.

This time she touched another one that was a little higher than the last one and she couldn’t even make out what it was suppose to be.

Looking up from the last one and one to the right she saw a tablet that had a sword looked like there was a chain and ball too and she touched that one. With that little touch the odd sensation was the strongest and Tori could have sworn that tablet was wet.

Tori did what she was told and took a hold of the tablet and pulled it out as that odd sensation that she had gotten came back and reminded her of water. But the moment the table came out of the wall and was sitting on her hand did the table change into the weapon that had been on the tablet. In the surprise change Tori had manage to keep a hold of the sword but had dropped the chain and the little spiked ball attached to the sword.

She was struck in awe as she was looking at the sword in her hands and with her other hand reached down to pick up the chain she had dropped. As she still got the impression of water and felt better in this form and not the tablet. “I didn’t know that my partner would be a weapon.”

“Well that is true, but it was something that I wasn’t expecting, but then I never really knew,” she replied as she was confused by his question. “I guess it’s alright,”

“I was wondering why did you chose me, I’m nothing special and how are you talking with me too,”

Tori got the impression of a horsy type of giggling after that last answer. “So you can read my thoughts too. Oh and how rude of me too, I’m Victoria Straka, but I like to be called Tori.” She replied a little shocked at her own manners of not introducing herself to her partner to begin with.

“Well it’s nice to meet you too and to what type of questions as I don’t know everything,” she replied as she didn’t know what type of questions Aklin would ask.

“Alright that sounds good to me,” she replied as she got a better grip on her partner and walked towards the stairs.

Tori had to sigh a little when Aklin asked her another question. “Yes they do,” she answered, but at least now she wasn’t alone all the time.
