Takuma is blunt but overall a good natured honest person. He is a generally social teenager and will normally go up to anyone he thinks is not too aggressive or someone he openly dislikes. When dealing with people that seem civil he tries not to openly offend them. Some hurtful things may slip out but there is no malice behind these words. This is because he means well when dealing with others but doesn't like dealing with the guilt associated with lying to or misleading people. The deceptively sugar coated way his father speaks to people tends to make the boy feel sick. He just doesn't want to come off like that to people. If the cost is a little roughness so be it.
His biggest failing is an utter lack of creativity. This is due to his familie's annoying obsession with art. Takuma was forced to attend so many gallery openings and exhibits that he has seen enough of it all and has lost interest. When he does have to do something creative he goes for a direct (and possibly lazy) approach. Do not let him be the one that comes up with a plan on or off of the battle field. It will be idiotic or weird... or most likely both. He might also mix things up and choose something lamely boring like "No, we should study."
His beacon is a tattoo on his left arm that stretches from his elbow to wrist (a red tiger). He diligently tries to hide it and thinks it is stupid. If not wearing long sleeves he will try to cover it by wrapping it with bandages. On the rare occasion he things nobody will be looking and he is nowhere near school where such a thing is forbidden Takuma does leave it uncovered from time to time.
Until his beacon was gained he had a nearly photographic memory. As of late he is suffering from some degree of memory loss relating to the transformation. It is intensely frustrating for Takuma since he is not accustomed to being unable to clearly recall past happenings.

Takuma is fascinated by learning new things, nature, and is an avid basketball fan. He does his best to make it to as many local games as he can. Since he isn't very fond of TV and the experience seems duller than being in an actual cheering crowd he isn't nearly as excited by televised games.
... Interesting things... Weather, science, non-fiction books (the boring kind), mythology, basketball, cute girls...

... Horses, impatient people, English and art classes, anything he deems stupid.... Your mom
(Just kidding, he thinks your mom is hot!).
Takuma is easily bored by overly fantastic creative settings. He has a hard time with things like D&D and overall dislikes sci-fi.
