It was that time again. Time to imprison the less than perfect students for a few hours at the school during off hours. Valley High was relatively lax on its rules. Sure, they responded to infractions with warnings and punishments but they seemed so wussy. The worst punishment they would ever dole out was detention. Boy did they love assigning it at the drop of a hat. At least that was what Takuma was theorizing as he sat there absentmindedly filling out a homework printout. The time had passed easily enough. A teacher that was monitoring the trouble makers could be heard barking at various offtask students. Overall it was an uneventful ordeal.
It didn't seem like a punishment to him. The homework had to be done and it did not matter to Takuma if it was at home or at school. The stupid busywork remained stupid at both places. Despite the punishment not being unbearable Takuma was excited that the time was finally almost up. Perhaps the wasted day could be salvaged.

Omigawd, like...uber boring. Why would she be sitting inside when in her mind she was frolicking in a beautiful meadow with Eolande (Insert 'Lovin' You' here) with a home made lunch from her cute new BFF. But NO! Instead she was trapped....stuck in a horrible classroom with nothing to do.
Oh, but she just wouldn't have it that way! They were at the back of the room anyway. She grinned impishly as she slumped down in her seat and reached out a foot to prod the boy in front of her with it. Now...she'd never really talked to him...but he seemed good enough for a chinwag. She just knew they hung out with different crowds. She attracted the naturally super good looking people while he....well....actually she didn't really know who he attracted. I mean, he seemed nice enough, didn't foam at the mouth, and was kinda cute in the yaoi, uke way....but they'd never really NEEDED to talk...they didn't have many classes together....never had projects together, didn't walk home in the same direction...well, no time like the present to change that!
Prod. Prod. Woops, bit too deep with that prod.
