The sun was shining, the birds were singing. There was a brilliant feel to the air, livening up the world around it. It was almost magical as a dirtied young girl stepped onto her patio from her garden. The fresh smell of wet earth clung to her skin. It was, to say the least, very refreshing. The sun had not yet passed it's noon mark and the girl was already energized and ready for the day. On any other day, it would be spent resting from the torment of school.
She took in a deep breath of air. "I think this is a perfect day for a trip to the park." Her cheeks perked up as she smiled in simple bliss as she washed the grime off her face and grabbed her jacket to walk out the door. It would not take long to reach the playground which she sought, so her feet feel into a smooth rhythm as she walked the path that she had walk so many times before.

It was one of those days that was far too nice to spend studying. Technically that was inaccurate since Takuma would happily go gallivanting out in a blizzard and deem it interesting (and thus good) weather. The boy was wearing an outstandingly boring T-shirt and jeans while lugging around an ungainly duffel bag filed with various sports equipment.
When Takuma turned onto a different path he spotted a girl up ahead. From this angle she was cute and looked like another teenager. That was enough for him to be curious who she was. He didn't have a solid plan yet so tagging along with someone could be fun. Hefting his bag over his shoulder Takuma quickened his pace. "Hey!" He ran up to the girl trying to match her pace. "Nice day isn't it?"

Paige turned her head at the sound another person's voice. Was he talking to her? She was the only person on that side of the street. "Yeah, it's a great day." She smiled casually to him. She played with the ribbons in her hair absentmindedly. Had she seen this guy somewhere before? "I'm Paige." She looked on ahead of them, they were getting close to the park. "Do you go to Valley High?" She inquired curiously. That was the only place she could have seen him...
"Are you going to the park?" She addressed his duffel bag with a slight nod. It looked like he planned to do so kind of training. She was just peppering him with questions it seemed.

The last few people he had tried approaching today quickly rebuffed his attempts at starting a casual conversation (what grumps). Her positive sounding response was promising. Perhaps Takuma wouldn't get chased away this time. He couldn't help but grin as he nodded in agreement. "Yeah, I've been at Valley for a while. I'm Takuma Nobuyuki."
When she mentioned the park Takuma adjusted the weight of the duffel. The sudden running had thrown it off balance. "Nice days like this are best spent at the park. Are you going to their too?"

“I knew I’ve seen you somewhere before!” She was quite pleased with herself for remembering a face she had never met before. A wide grin grew on her face, “Oh, and my last name is Eistel, so Paige Eistel.” She clamored out in addition. “Of course call me Paige! No need for formal stuff.” She gave a short laugh, beating herself up about repeating her name to him. She probably seemed like a weirdo from off the street.
She tried to clear her mind of her silly concerns, “Yep. I’m on my way to the park.” She nodded slowly. “It’s too nice out here to stay inside.” Her steps fell back in rhythm as they made small talk. “Are ou planning on doing anything interesting?”
