Returning the squeeze she managed a smile at the other, she was sure Earth had suffered some manner of damage fro mthat attack, they'd see it when they got home. She wasn't sure how they'd get home though...this was a prision and they were stuck here. "How are we getting home...and what will be there - that attack hit, right?" She asked softly, pale eyes staring at the other wide and questioning, Earth would be safe right? There wasn't any damage done...right?
"Everything will be fine when we get home, right?" She questioned, deciding to give voice to her worries, as she stared at him. The bracelet she wore tugged gently at her wrist, trying to lead her somewhere. She noted Calibal putting his own on and wondered if this was something to help them get home? She hadn't been sure if it had a purpose at the beginning, thinking it was just a gift with no purpose, but now it seemed it had a purpose and was going to help them out.
"Whoever Almadel is knew we'd wind up trapped...didn't they?"
Accepting the magical bloom from Hylonome did Sodalite make sure to ingest it before the magic wore off. While it didn't heal him fully it did take the edge off of the discomfort that he was in. Making sure that he expressed gratitude did the Captain look around at the state of things. The beast was trapped but so it seemed to be said of those that were brought here to fight it.
The appearance of faintly glowing red stones caught the Captain's attention before he sighed. Following illumination seemed to be a risky move but what other choice was there? Starving here?
In order to detract from the appearance of negative thoughts did Sodalite gently begin to gather up a few of the smaller scales that now littered the ground. Definitely not a food source but maybe something could be fashioned from them later.
Hovering above them, the Calamitous Hollow watched with eyes that didn’t quite see them. It had spent its energy, and it was no match for the oppressive shield that bubbled around them. The same current flooded underfoot, and while uncomfortable, it was not painful. The Calamitous Hollow was trapped.
All six spikes were in perfect condition, and impaled into the ground as they were, the little galaxies swirled peacefully, as if all was well in the universe.
The black lightning was worse now than ever, perhaps a manifestation of the Calamitous Hollow’s foul mood. Without the clouds to sail through, it had no other means to discharge the extreme energy except here, with them.
And then, suddenly, they started to disappear.
The bracelets they wore pulled them, almost magnetically, towards the suddenly very colorful, visible red haze that connected each red gemstone. Energy surged from the little white gemstone fixed to each of them, and then–
They evaporated.
It was painless. They melted into the red energy, became one with it, and were carried on it like birds in the wind.
The sensation was strange, not quite like teleporting, or mirrorwalking, or any teleportation pad that could be constructed. It was like standing in the rain while basking in the sunlight. It was like dreaming, and waking, all at once. It was everything and nothing.
It was a way home.
They could see the universe as they drifted along, moving both quickly and slowly. It was a leisurely trip, if they let themselves enjoy it.
They passed through the Calamitous Hollow’s storm painlessly, and the sight of it, and its prison, slowly shrunk away.
For a moment, they could see the universe. Bright stars, and distant worlds, and healing rifts slowly patching themselves back together. And then, they were swallowed by the same clouds that took the Moon, and Earth.
There was darkness, swirling. Nothingness, all around them, and then–
The air was suddenly clear, fresher than ever before. It was the cleanest breath of air they’d ever smelled.
They had to pass through a small debris field to reach it, and the sorry state of hundreds of meticulously crafted shields hovered in the sky.
But below them, whole, and in one piece, and more beautiful than ever before–
Earth.
It was dark, but it was whole. The Moon, too.
Their efforts had not been in vain.
It took a moment for them to reach Earth from there, but when they did they arrived in Destiny City–together, exactly where they had left.
Except, there was a single red gemstone waiting for them, surrounded by six football sized white crystals that hovered in the air around it and were clearly keeping it charged.
They were home.
But, something was different.
There was a little more ozone in the air, and though the celestial clouds blocked their view of the sky at present, they knew the Calamitous Hollow was out there. Trapped in a prison, not so far from their Moon, or their planet.
They’d protected their home. They’d made it back safely.
But it was still there.
Watching.
Waiting.

You may continue to RP in the domain of the Calamitous Hollow if you need to make your exit posts, but you are no longer able to interact with it or anything in the area outside of picking up scales or locating approved items. The battle with the Calamitous Hollow ICly lasted for about an hour on the evening of April 12th, and all characters that fought it will have returned here, whether or not you post their exit. All characters will be pulled to safety by the bracelet they are wearing; if they did not put it on, it will resonate from subspace. Characters who were unconscious or vanished to the Dark Star will also return here, made whole again. If you planned to have your character take lasting damage (such as scars from the electricity), you do not need to PM for approval! These can appear over any area of skin but cannot scar the eyes or internal organs. All characters may feel a strange tingling over their skin for the next week, and may cause malfunctions when interacting with electrical appliances. If your character has galaxy eyes, these will fade within a few hours, but characters may have temporary blindness for up to a week as they recover.
Characters can acquire an array of scales from the Calamitous Hollow; you do not need to specifically write out that your characters have collected these and it can be assumed that they picked some up on the way out. If you have submitted a request to find any strange items, you can write that your character found it on the way out.
Characters can keep Almadel’s Pin as a memento!
This pin no longer has any magical properties but you can do with it as you please!
Each character is still in possession of the bracelet, though the gemstone has cracked and is completely transparent. It no longer seems to have any function. If your character did not eat the berry, they have a few days to do so; it will eventually start to go bad. It has no magical abilities but may make you feel both full and rejuvenated. If you scan it, it seems to be a highly nutritious berry from an unidentified location. It cannot be propagated, only savored.
If a character was in possession of one of the red gemstones, it seems to have lost its spark and is no longer synchronizing with the other stones. It almost appears as though it has burned itself out. These characters would have traveled in the same way as the others; most of them would have been among the last to leave. Laurelite, as a holder of one of these gems, is the last to return to Earth.
Each faction will also find a curious memento in their subspace!

While these items don’t seem to have any clear purpose or magical power, there is something uniquely powerful about each of them. They feel both ancient and new, and remind their owners of their battle with the Calamitous Hollow. They cannot be gifted or stolen. They may be useful in the future.
Any character who assisted in the defeat of the Calamitous Hollow is eligible to acquire these items; if your character was involved in any event roleplays or participated in these threads, your character can acquire the items; if your character was not in the final battle but participated in any event threads or the linked threads, you can handwave that they were in attendance and acquired the items as well.
Shortly after returning to Earth, all Negaverse Characters (Agents, Corrupt Senshi, Corrupt Mauvians, PC Youma) who participated in the event in any way (in an event RP, in the dice rolling threads, or in the ORP) will also be ICly granted the following medal:

Awarded to characters who participated in combating the Calamitous Hollow during the Stormbreaker event (2025).

The lights in Destiny City are all out; thanks to a strange magnetic storm, it seems the entire grid has gone down. Sirens are going off and linemen are already out attempting to repair things. A few towers are nearby–too close for comfort, if they don’t want to risk being seen. It’s best to disperse for now. Rest, recuperate.
Plan for the future.
Once everyone has arrived back on Earth, the thirteenth red gemstone will crack and fade to dust, along with the six white crystals that were powering it. The dust carries on the wind. They are gone, but you remain.
Within a few IC days, the clouds will clear. Though the Calamitous Hollow’s prison is well shielded and invisible to the naked eye, powered characters may be able to see it any time they power up. It is twice the distance between Earth and the Moon, and is only a small speck in the sky.

The [STORMBREAKER] Faction Information Databases thread will be locked as of 11:59 PM PST on Sunday, the 4th; your character can log information acquired during the final battle. If you haven’t shared event information there yet, you can still do so to earn a Crown Token! Any information logged here will be ICly accessible to all characters of that faction and will be available as an archive to reflect on.
Laurelite will instruct the Negaverse to get first aid and file reports; she is immediately returning to work. The medals will be distributed ICly by Sunday, April 13th. A message will be sent out to the Negaverse ICly on the night of the battle; OOCly this will be posted by tomorrow night.
A Vanguardian ORP will be posted by tomorrow night for any interested parties; it will ICly take place at the Vanguardian household shortly after they all arrive back on the evening of Saturday, April 12th. This will be totally optional and Vanguardian players can handwave participation if interested; this is simply for information purposes.
If players have requests for any special follow up RP, please contact The Space Cauldron or Xigglet; the Vanguardian ORP was player requested and other special requests may be possible as well. Remarque opened his mouth as if to protest Orcus making any effort to touch Arawn, but thankfully he was too preoccupied with Laon to lash out. Or, maybe Arawn was just making progress with his socialization skills.
Either way, it hadn’t really been a good time to celebrate, not when there were too many unknowns. His eyes had narrowed when Orcus withdrew red stone, but he felt like he had even less time to process that.
He wanted to ask where she’d gotten it from, or if she had any idea what it was doing, but with Telesto’s observation–
He had no idea what was going on with Laon’s eyes or what that meant. He nodded, appreciative of Telesto’s input, and had been able to offer a brief word of thanks to Lacerta and Persephone,
And then, because there wasn’t enough going on, Laon suddenly woke up with a sharp gasp, clutching at Arawn and scrambling to pull himself off the ground.
Remarque didn’t see how that turned out either, because one second Arawn and Laon were there in front of him, and the next, they’d been swept up by the ghostly red trail.
Somehow, Earth had survived the devistating blast the Calamitous Hollow had hurled at their home.
Not by luck. But someone had the foresight to prepare for the worst in case they failed and had put up a defense here as well.
Acrucis looked down at the bracelet Almadal had given each of them, though the gem was cracked and now transparent, the metal was warm against her skin. With a soft smile, she whispered words of thanks. Although he was not present in the battle, his aid was invaluable and without him they would not have made it back.
Still, home was not what it had been… The storm hadn’t truly passed.
They had peace for now. Yet through the clouds above them, the Calamitous Hollow stirred; wounded, enraged, biding its time behind the walls of a fragile prison that would fail again once it regained strength.
They had won this time.
But it would come again…
Acrucis watched as Senshi, Agents, Knights, Mauvians, and Vanguardians supported each other within their respective factions. Some offered aid or support, while others moved to leave and rejoin loved ones that that had taken shelter from the storm.
Her gentle aura radiated outward as she brought her palms together in a prayer-like motion, and anyone who needed aid and trusted her intent was welcome to step within the circle to heal their injuries before heading home.

While Acrucis' still has a clear White Moon energy signature, her passive magic is an overlaying sensation that makes her aura naturally feel familiar and trustworthy. This is enhanced when in her actual presence and characters of the opposite factions may no longer perceive her as hostile or a threat. While she may be regarded with a lingering wary curiosity, it is more difficult to interpret her actions or words as threatening or antagonistic. Youma are case by case; more intelligent ones may choose to ignore her while feral may likely still attack because she is still a senshi.
Prayer of Sanctuary
Eternal Sailor Attack: Prayer of Sanctuary Sailor Acrucis brings her hands together in a prayer and closes her eyes. This attack requires a great deal of concentration as the ground below her in a 10' radius begins to glow with a soft yellow hue with a rune type symbol of the Crux directly beneath her. This is an AOE healing spell that at it's full duration will last for 45 seconds. - 5 seconds being in the AOE to heal minor wounds - 10 seconds being in the AOE to heal moderate wounds - 30 seconds being in the AOE to heal severe wounds. (Deep gashes, hair line fractures and minor broken bones. NOT spiral fractures or bones protruding from the skin)
As the return to Earth pulled them along, Telesto kept their eyes fixed on the Calamitous Hollow for as long as they could. Another great and terrible enemy, out in the universe, or beyond, waiting. How many lifetimes would pass before the creature returned? What would be different about them by then? Would they even remember it, their memories clouded again like this time? How many times had they fought this creature before, if ever?
The answers to these questions hung on Telesto, but they knew they couldn't get answers, yet. If they could ever come, it would be much later than now, surely. Better to focus on the problems immediate.
Problems like how they were back on Earth and there were, ostensibly, many enemies around. They hoped no one would take this as a moment to strike, but they did not want to wait around long to learn.
Siding up to Remarque they gently tapped the Prince's shoulder. "Remarque, we should get the Court out of here, just in case. We do not know how long this camaraderie will last, but given it was forged of necessity I do not suspect long. We can return to the Court and tend to our wounded there."
The update seemed a mix of good and bad, though mercifully mostly the former. And Ekstrom managed a small smile at the quip about souvenirs as she slowly sat up. If they needed to get out of her, at the very least she had to get up so she didn't burden anyone else, and gods forbid be the reason someone got stuck here. She scooped a small hoard of scales–mostly small, but at least one larger one–into her arms and dismissed them into her subspace before taking Solaris's hand and carefully getting up.
She hurt all over, and her legs felt like jello, but she was standing, and her strength returned bit by bit as she followed suit and looked around at the others nearby, relieved to see that they all seemed…as okay as anyone probably could be, given everything that was going on.
"Hopefully a way out?" she offered, finally glancing down at her bracelet. Just past it, she noticed something at her feet, a visor-like gadget that she could hardly ignore given its stylings. Reaching down, she quickly took hold of it and sent it to her subspace as well.
She'd been about to say more when she felt a most curious pull. It was enough to jar her from her thoughts, and she looked in the direction she was being taken.
"Uhh...?"
And before she knew it, she was being whisked away.
Away from the Calamitous Hollow and its prison, through what may have been time and space for all she knew, but ultimately, eventually, she made it back home.
Action: Picking up a thing, then disappearing. Again. (exit)
The fight had come to an end in his absence, which...he probably ought to have been grateful for. In truth, he almost regretted coming. What had all this been for? Granted there was no way to have known the outcome when they first all got the call to gather in that damned clearing, but still.
He didn't need the extra help to stay up at night; he had problems without all the madness that came with this fight.
Kiringul scooped up a handful of scales (and a small bag along with it) before he felt something scoot him along. The sensation got him to quirk his brow, but before he could even look up...he was gone.
Action: Getting murdered with a hug, disappearing (exit)
"Me!" he somehow managed a laugh, grateful for the fact that the contact grounded him as he returned the hug. He was actually back. Somehow. Not that he was going to spend any time thinking about it right now. There would be time to hash things out once they got out of here, not to mention now was not the time to get emotional.
And the only person he would ever willingly get emotional in front of wasn't here, either. Thankfully.
Ashur let her go when he noticed his bracelet suddenly glowing. It tugged him along, he found, and considering how exhausted he was...he was happy to let it.
The Knight scooped up scales along the way, and snagged a curious looking piece of folded up parchment just before disappearing from the prison.
Action: Collecting scales, disappearing back on Earth, finally heading home (exit)
"No idea," came a quick response, though before he said anything more Carminite heard the crunch beneath his feet as well. Taking his cue from his fellow general, he leaned down, grabbed what he could, and was busy sending them off into subspace. Curiously, he could swear he was…moving?...as he did this.
Before he could even comment, his eyes snapped up and he watched as the three shrank into the distance as he got dragged away and ultimately disappeared.
It was nothing like teleporting. Bizarre was really the only way he could think to put it, between what he felt and what he saw.
He felt okay, though. Safe, even, as he went. Past the storm, past the prison, through the dust cloud and then…
A wave of relief crashed over him as he took in a breath of curiously fresh air, sea green eyes settled on Earth in the distance. The moon, too. He took it all in as he approached, and before he knew it he was back.
Eyes settled on the collection of crystals in the area for the briefest of moments, but almost as soon as his boots touched the ground he decided that he had a far more important place to be than here and teleported away, in the direction of home.
The order was easy enough to follow, and Staurolite had just swept away a small collection of scales before he, like Carminite, got swept up by the red trail and vanished from the field.
Gimle practically manifested out of thin air before Michel, whose attention was fixed on the Calamitous Hollow. He hadn’t noticed the boy waking up or moving over; Michel had been too busy stalking around the area in a failing attempt to work out some agitation. There was a split second where he gripped his weapon tighter as if he meant to attack, but in a single breath he was also able to relax himself.
“Jesus, kid, where did you come from?”
He was alive–great–but where had he gone?
Michel looked at him quizzically; the kid was obviously crying, which was awkward, and he looked over his shoulder at Malus, not quite helplessly, but he was much better when it came to handling tears.
Ugh, but he had so much going on already.
Michel turned back to the Jupiter page.
“Just–calm down, it’s okay. Don’t go running around, just stay here.” He didn’t want the kid to go running right into Laurelite’s arms. “We’ll get out of here in a minute.” The gem on his bracelet kept pulling him towards the thread of red light, and some people seemed to be getting out.

"I don't know," he said, face wrinkling at how absolutely helpless that sounded. Given everything that was happening here, and the fact that he was fourteen and completely new to all of this? Maybe that was fair enough.
He still hated it.
He wiped his eyes and his face now that he felt he was in relative safety.
The advice to calm down and not go anywhere was met with a firm nod, because he had zero plans of getting lost in the fray now that someone had eyes on him, even if it wasn't someone that he knew. At least this way, if he somehow didn't make it back, someone would know and could tell…
Uh.
Gimle shoved the thoughts away in favor of focusing on the way his own bracelet was pulling him toward the red light, too. Taking his cue from the older knight, he looked around and noticed other people were somehow getting out. Maybe it was just a waiting game, then? If that was all it was, then he could be patient!
So the Page did his best to keep calm and just…let it take him...while he waited for his turn.

Super Hybris actions: resurrecting on Earth ~ does this count as being undead?
There was a path to follow, a way forward and the piecing together of his life and future coming close with every flowing step. And as with Orpheus and Lot's wife, Hybris kept trying to look back/ He wanted to make sure the Bar Star was still there. That he had seen what already felt like a dream outside of dreams, a glimpse of a reality so outside his grasp as to be the feverish conjuring of imagination.
He felt the ground at his back, and gripped something smooth and strange between his fingers before he felt himself pulled again, even further this time. And then Hybris was standing, once again in the midst of The Court and safely behind its prince. Exactly where he'd been before they'd all moved up and into the stellar battlefield.
Destiny City was completely dark and even thought the possibility of the world ending had been very effectively presented to them all, if felt a little impossible for such a complete darkness to envelope the city like this. For a moment, Hybris wondered if they'd failed. But then came the sirens, and with it their own real and imperfect world, perpetually fighting for its right to a future.
Hela was there beside him, and he offered her a wan smile and asked, "What happened to you back there?" He didn't offer or even allude to anything happening to him at all.
