"Hah, I wonder if I could convince this ******** to tell us the truth--" Promethei watched as Emain Ablach pulled off an impressive bash, and was followed up close by Imhotep and Amoris. Honestly, impressive.
Nectaris' and Cryolite's performances weren't bad either. Honestly, the only thing that would make this squad better was if that one corrupt senshi boyfriend would purify--
But he could do something a bit different.
Channeling his magic in the direction of the Herald, he rumbled, "Hey, you want to tell me what the Dark Star is?"
Location: H6 Action: Greeting Irkalla and Salar, not sure what to but figure can't hurt to use his horn to help out his allies Total: 10 + 5 (rank) = 15 // buffing Yetzirah (+7) and Irkalla (+8) HP: 90/125
Kiringul managed a nod, the corners of his lips flickering up but ultimately failing to sustain a proper smile, in greeting to both Salar and Irkalla as they joined, which was probably the friendliest thing that could be expected of him…period. End of the world or otherwise, he just had never been much of a people person. Hopefully she wouldn't hold that against him.
"Trap, it sounds like," he replied to Yetzirah, doing his best to fight down a wince as he tried to split his focus between the newcomers and what all was happening around them. He shifted slightly, taking Ein's hand again when he sensed her nerves. What he wouldn't give to just be sitting safely at home with her and his family close by right then…
But no, he had to at least try and focus here.
"Maybe it's a little something like Pokemon. Gotta weaken it a little before anything works. I think my magic might be able to give a boost from here…" No sooner did he say that, he watched two of them go off to try and attack. Which was…good. It had to be, right?
"Look, you're only two months in," he said, turning to Salar. "I can imagine this is way more than you think you signed up for. Just stick close if you don't know what to do. You'll figure it out–we always do. Kinda the knight's motto from what I can tell. If you're gung-ho and up for it, looks like the gravity's off or something," he nodded towards the others making their moves, "so you could probably jump and do some kinda damage. You know we're a little stronger physically whenever we power up, right?" As he spoke, he pulled his horn off of his sash and turned to Ein.
"Us, too," he said, expression softening for the first time since their arrival as soon as he settled his gaze on her. "Gotta do what we can." With that he gave her hand another little squeeze, straightened himself to take as deep a breath as he could muster, and he blew into his horn.
Squire — Kiringul takes a deep breath and blows into the horn, however no sound comes directly out of it. Instead, the sound goes directly into the ears of anyone within a 10ft radius; the sound varies between listeners.
For opponents it causes the listener to become disoriented in some way (the sound and how it disorients the listener is up to the player) as their mind becomes lost in the vastness of cosmic eternity. It essentially renders them unable to focus as long as Kiringul is channeling his magic, and they can feel confused and dazed and out of place with their surroundings.
For allies it gives the listener a soothing sort of clarity, as though they have come out of a peaceful eternity, and allows them to focus better as long as Kiringul is channeling his magic. The sound has a maximum duration of 30 seconds.
No. No he wasn't. Pretending he was was a bit of a stretch, but for the sake of anyone looking at him, he tried his best gather himself together. Basiluzzo and Viatrix already knew the truth, but he knew that he stood there as a more veteran member of the field and he didn't necessarily want to stand out as somebody who was freaking out in the middle of it.
Of course, it helped that no one was nearby...
"Yeah," lied Encke, quietly. "I got this-"
"Do you?" asked Viatrix, as she focused her attention on the snake. They could strike. They could strike now. Viatrix's laser was cued and she aimed it solidly at the creature above her, letting out a whoop of victory as it landed.
"Yeah. I mean, we definitely got this."
And yet, Encke still couldn't quite escape that he belonged to the Negaverse--
He aimed his magic too, despite.

General Queen Hessonite Location: D2 Action: Talking to Brassite and Chrysocolla Total: 4 + 15 + 12 (Chrysocolla) HP: 165 / 200
Yes. Yesssss.
Adrenaline coursed through Hessonite and her eyes flashed. She grinned, but it was unlike Laurelite’s perfectly set-in-place, saccharine smile.
Hessonite grinned like there was a madness in her, and she finally had free reign to let it out. Hessonite had boundless confidence, and she was already raring to go. Chrysocolla’s magic gave her the boost she needed to strike, hard and fast, and with all the pent up energy she’d been saving just for this moment.
She’d have suspected the Senshi had done something even without the lightshow, but she’d have been lying if she said she didn’t love it.
She might not have been as vocal as Brassite, but she had no less enthusiasm.
“I’ll give that thing up there your regards,” she said to Chrysocolla, and then she propelled herself into the air. She needed the momentum; fighting in the air wasn’t her strong suit and she couldn’t rely on big, heavy weapons to do the damage for her. She had two swords, and she collided with the Calamitous Hollow with so much force that she buried both of them down to the hilt.
And then, she planted both feet on the Calamitous Hollow and kicked off, but before she’d gone too far, she twisted, slashing into the scale–again, and again, and again, like a hurricane. She should have been dizzy by the time she landed back on the ground but instead she seemed like she was ready to head up again.
It seemed like everyone else around him got the gist of things before he did, but Staurolite wasn't…okay. Well, he was the type to teleport away from a fight if he was about to bite the big one, but they weren't quite there yet. Following Lavendulan's lead, he stepped back and aimed his crossbow at the snake's underbelly, feeling a bit of something coming from the pin he'd been hanging onto this whole time, and fired as soon as he had a clear shot.
Location: H5. Action:attacking the Calamitous Hollow with a forgotten spell. Total: 4 +10 (third stage) + 10 (Almadel’s pin) = 24. HP: 115 / 150 (-35 for general attack)
Kaifeng had to admit, he was more than slightly shaken by the literal Chaos cannon that the Negaverse’s Queen had pulled out of nowhere and used to blast the Hollow. The weapons that came out from Order and the Dark Mirror Court, those provided some hope. Not nearly as much as Helene’s pep talk for the group about how they would come together and prevail, but some. Even so, the literal Chaos cannon left Kaifeng staring, stricken, at the green-haired queen and her scythe, wondering what the ******** she had done to people to secure that kind of power.
How many people had died to create that cannon?
How many starseeds had she stolen, or more likely had her senshi and Agents steal on her behalf?
Absently, Kaifeng fumbled at his chest, hand splayed over top of where his own starseed would have been. The Chaos attack had already made him ache, but he ached in sympathetic pain as well. Pain for the lives that might have been snuffed out to feed the Negaverse’s war machine, which had a valid justification for existing this time……but based on this one encounter, not to mention the horrific, borderline heartless-sounding drama llama speech coming through on all the nearby Negaverse communicators, Kaifeng sincerely doubted that the Queen would destroy this cannon after the Calamitous Hollow had been dealt with.
He sincerely doubted that anybody in the Negaverse would’ve pushed back to make her do it, and some part of him didn’t think he could blame them. What, exactly, would have stopped her from using power like that to literally take their ******** heads off?
It was the pain from the Calamitous Hollow’s attack that rallied him, moving Kaifeng to attack back in kind. Although he wriggled away from being physically attached to Helene—swiping his thumb over the pin from Almadel as he moved—he stayed close to his zhiyin, swinging his staff up at the Hollow’s exposed underbelly and calling on the magic that he and Helene had found together at his Wonder.
Quote:
Forgotten Spell: Kaifeng swings his weapon at a single target within a 20-foot radius. The target is knocked back by a burst of air, cold as death. When hit by the chill, the target is seized by a brief but powerful feeling that they have died and no one cared. This attack has three uses.
Corrupt Eternal Fafnir Location: A4 Action: Taking some of the strain from Faustite. Responding to Helio and accepting Faustite's commentary. Attacking the monster with his magic enhancement. Total: 7 (roll) + 10 (rank) + 5 (helping faustite) + 10 (purple pin) = 32 HP: 150 - 35 (prompt) - 5 (helping faustite) = 110
The head of Faustite's hand on his shoulder was grounding, pulling Fafnir back from some of the frantic energy he'd been fighting. He centered himself, forcing some sense of calm over his roiling feelings. Letting his emotions get out of hand was not going to help anyone, especially not himself. Taking a deep greath, he let it out slowly.
"I know you're not. But I don't know what you know, and I don't really care for you being inside of its head. Who knows where its been, after all. Its probably filthy." He quipped back at his brother.
So. Helio had a connection to the beast. Did that mean he could read its mind? Anticipate it's attacks? Talk to it? Could he affect it in some way? His eyes flickered to watch the movement of Faustite's blackened fingers and he nodded curtly. He understood, even if he didn't have a lot of faith that the beast's attention wouldn't swing their way as soon as people started hitting it. It wasn't going to stop him from doing whatever he could do, but still.
Fafnir was with the rest as they braced to help Faustite, absorbing some of the power that coursed through all of them through their connection to him and through him, the spike. Whatever that thing was, he did not like it. Even if it proved to be their salvation. He watched as the arrow tethered the beast and a glimpse of the moon slammed a beam of light into it to send it crashing down onto some kind of shield the Vanguard had errected. It hurt as it shook the whole pocket dimension, sending electricity crackling along the ground and through everyone present. He grimaced as he forced himself upright and gathered him. It was within reach now. He could see others, even part of their own team, jumping up to hit it like so many stinging insects. He could be one more, even if he dared not use his strongest magic against it. The others wouldn't appreciate getting caught in his sickening smoke.
"Fafnir's claws." He commanded as he touched his fingers to his lips. Wisps of dark, sickly purple smoke rolled from his mouth to wrap around him and claws formed as he pulled them away, primed and ready. Leaping upwards with the rest, he watched the beast's side grow closer and closer, filling his vision... and then he struck out at it, slashing it once, twice with his claws. He felt a flare of... something from his chest and his strikes seem to hit harder than he'd thought. He let his momentum carry him back down, landing with legs bent.
Super Sailor Scout Attack: (enhancement) Fafnir's Claws
Fafnir touches his fingers to his mouth and a sickly purple gas forms around them into the shape of phantom claws that sap the energy and health of those who are touched by them. Those struck with the claws will see signs of disease where they were 'cut', and are significantly sickened by it as it saps their energy and health, affecting their performance. The claws can strike up to two different targets and the effect can last up to 30 seconds. He can use it twice per battle

Eternal Corrupt Miyamoto Location: I3 Action: I3 with Mara, not feeling well at all. Total: No rolls here. HP: 150hp - 35hp = 115hp
Taking a step, or two, everything swam and he felt vertigo grip him as he moved his head and things got worse. It caused his stomach to churn, and twist, the noise was dampened thanks to the loop headset he had in his ears otherwise the noise would be far too much for him. Shuddering, his head was starting to hurt and the mirrors which climbed into the air towards the beast were reflecting light, the eternal stood there a pace or two away from Mara as he tried to fight what he was now sure was a losing battle. He wanted to curl up, to hide somewhere dark and silent, but he couldn't do any of that right now. He needed to stay here and fight, to see this to the end, but before he could do anything else he was moving away from Mara and sinking to the ground.
A pool of fabric and dark hair and the eternal was almost forcefully bent forward with the force which gripped him as he heaved. Slowly, as he let up whatever he could, his hands planted themselves on the ground as he came to rest on hands and knees still emptying himself. While his stomach emptied his head hurt worse, the pain in the all focused on the right side of his head, he groaned in pain as his eyes were squeezed shut against the pain. His plan to hold things off, to push them back, had failed and he knew it. This wouldn't look good if anyone saw it, he knew it, and he could only hope everyone was too busy with the serpent in the sky to see this huge weakness of his. Even if someone saw though....who would really know the cause behind it? Who would know what weakness he really had, and that this wasn't all just due to the shock they'd all taken. So long as no one saw, and then decided to question him on it, he would be fine he just needed no one to notice and decide to investigate. He couldn't be seen as aliability or to have a weakness, even while he did infact have a weakness.
Shaking as he leaned there, emptyhing himself and heaving up nothing, he felt so damn weak and the shame of it washed over him as he tried to clean his mouth with something he'd pulled from subspace. The tears in his eyes, from the force of things, were scrubbed away as quickly as possible. This was when he felt weak, nearly the only time he felt weak, and there it wasn't something he was good at handling.
Deep Space Eternal Sailor Helene Location: H5 Action: Attacking the Calamitous Hollow with magic! Total: 5 + 10 = 15 HP: 150 - 35 = 115
Helene was reluctant to let Kaifeng go, but he had to acknowledge, it would be difficult to fight if they were so tightly entwined.
And fight they must. Although the impact of the Hollow on the shield made him flinch, it seemed that whoever was holding it up maintained it well--it did not give. And the Hollow was held in place, which meant that they could reach it.
Kaifeng used the magic he had acquired from his Wonder, and Helene used the strength only recently returned to him.
"Inhibit All," he breathed.
He would weigh the Calamitous Hollow down. Or he would try. Perhaps the magic would not do much to it. Perhaps it simply did not have inhibitions. But Helene would do what he could.
Quote:
Eternal Sailor Attack: Inhibit All! Helene speaks the name of his attack, and stomps his foot on the ground. Enemies within a 20-foot radius find that they feel suddenly weighed down by inhibition, making movement more difficult and making it harder to make decisions because they feel inhibited from doing so. These effects last for 30 seconds, and Helene can use this attack twice per battle.
Location: D6. Action:attacking the Calamitous Hollow and being smacked around by his own magic. also, Big Mad about Tyndareus. Total: 16 (roll x2 for DSS wonky magic) HP: 57 / 100 (-35 for general attack, -8 for DSS magic backlash)
Thalassa felt too many things right now. None of this was acceptable, especially the fact that this whole ******** situation was making him experience emotions. The Negaverse’s Chaos cannon should have sent him reeling in more ways than physically. Some part of him felt like he should have vomited or performed some other melodramatic gesture. It wouldn’t have helped, though, he didn’t think.
Another more caring part of him wanted to say something that would console Pyrrhus. That would tell him this wasn’t his fault. That the New Tyndareus ending up with Chaos was some kind of Negaverse trick or seduction, some poor choice on his own part, something he was doing to save a friend or family member (Thalassa hoped that New Tyndareus had a better family than Bernard’s had been to him)……but especially after the cannon went off, and even as the pain from the Calamitous Hollow’s attack rushed down on him, Thalassa burned with fury more than anything.
Fury, and an intense, pressing motivation to hunt that little b*****d down, knock him out, and personally drag him to whichever Princess would burn the Chaos out of him already.
Thalassa didn’t even know if he believed that Pyrrhus and Bernard’s stunt with that ******** crown had played absolutely no role in this. All that mattered was hunting down Bernard’s inheritor and making him get back with Order where he belonged. And, at the present moment, firing off magic that could help ensure that there would be a tomorrow during which Heibing Morningstar could start his hunt. As Thalassa sent his spell toward the monster’s underbelly, that rage coursed through his entire body, wracking him with pain, but even that didn’t matter. Pain was nothing but a test to make you stronger.
Quote:
Sailor Scout Attack: “Weary Flop.” Thalassa selects one target within a ten-foot radius and points at them, glaring intently. The target is immediately hit with a feeling of mild exhaustion, as if they have spent several hours working hard without a break. Physically, targets feel tired and drained but not completely empty; they may feel slightly dizzy or develop a mild headache. Emotionally, targets may feel any combination of worn down, irritable, detached, or confused. They may experience an increased sense of self-doubt or more difficulty making decisions. While not completely overwhelming, these feelings may make targets struggle to keep fighting. This magic lasts thirty seconds, with any lingering effects at player discretion. Thalassa may use this attack three times per battle.
Location: A4. Action:attacking the Calamitous Hollow. Total: 4 +5 (second stage) +5 (spike bonus, this round only) = 14 HP: 85 / 125 (-35 for general attack, -5 for the spike)
Ilmari was going to have apologies to make, when this was over. He already knew that. He knew it without Hestia shaming him—however rightfully—for having had such an outburst at the entire team during a moment of crisis. The hug from Albite helped, he guessed. But only enough that he didn’t completely break down crying over having lost his head so badly in ways that the team didn’t deserve. In ways that he knew the team didn’t deserve. It wasn’t any of their faults that Ilmari was a mess and needed them to not see him like that, please.
Returning to silence, not least because he felt too shaken to trust himself with speaking, Ilmari heeded Hestia’s advice and fired off his magic. Blew a kiss toward the Calamitous Hollow, and briefly wondered if the stupid thing even understood the concept of chastity or restraint. His own head remained so cloudy, Ilmari briefly wondered if he shouldn’t have attacked himself, but—he could do better next time. He would do better next time. ******** the Calamitous Hollow and ******** what it felt so entitled to do to Ilmari’s people (and also like the rest of the earth or whatever, that was bad too, he guessed).
Quote:
Super Sailor Scout Attack: Chaste Restraint. Ilmari summons this magic by blowing a kiss at his intended targets. Instantly, they are hit with a moderate chill that places them into a chaste state of mind and resets them to a pure, unblemished state by cooling their passions, dulling their emotions, and strongly urging them to exercise restraint in their actions, making it more difficult for them to attack. This can be distracting can leave enemies feeling dazed, stunned, or without any drive. The chill is illusory; it does not deal damage. Ilmari can choose up to three targets within 15 feet. The effects last for 35 seconds, and Ilmari may use this attack two times per battle.
Location: A8. Action:attacking the Calamitous Hollow. Telling Ympe to stay with Industria when he attacks. Total: 4 +5 (second stage) + 8 (Industria’s buff) + 10 (Almadel’s pin) = 27. HP: 90 / 125 (-35 for general attack)
Cryptomelane’s awe at Queen Laurelite’s show of strength consumed him for a moment. Let the people from other factions know true fear. Let them see what the Negaverse’s forces were capable of, and see the power of the Queen who led them. Cryptomelane only glanced aside briefly, cheeks flushing at the sight of Industria and the way her face looked amidst the roiling storm clouds and the light from the different magical attacks being thrown against the Calamitous Hollow.
Temptation teased at the edge of his mind, an idea that he could have followed through on so easily.……
Only the Calamitous Hollow’s attack roused him back to reality. He moved quickly, bumping Ympe off his shoulder. “Hold on to the handle,” he told his youma companion, holding out his weapon. Maybe it wouldn’t prevent any ambient electricity from slamming into Ympe, but at least he wouldn’t catch any damage from being so close to Cryptomelane, from having the skin on skin contact of hanging on to his neck. Wailing his distress at being separated, even just a little bit, Ympe listened anyway and clung to the handle of Cryptomelane’s weapon.
When the attack subsided, Cryptomelane looked to Industria. He thought, briefly, to give her the berry from the pouch that Almadel had sent. She hadn’t been a senshi for very long, and she didn’t have much experience with fighting as Lucette. But before he could move in that direction, Industria clapped her hands and summoned her magic. A view of gears surrounded him—and as it did, Cryptomelane tucked his finger underneath her chin. Tilted her face up. Leaned in. Stole a brief kiss—he couldn’t linger too long, lest the effects of her magic fade—but the brevity did nothing to dull the fire motivating it.
“Ympe, stay with Industria,” he told his companion, who nodded and dutifully moved, pulling himself onto the handle of Cryptomelane’s weapon and hopping from there to Industria’s shoulder. Looking to her, he added, “Your inspiration will add fire to this attack.”
Leaping up toward the Calamitous Hollow, Cryptomelane wound his flail and slammed it at the creature’s underbelly.
Ibirapitá glanced down to Eridu and snorted. "Perhaps you are correct, but then," his gaze turned outwards, "it seems that many of your fellow humans are leaping quite a distance. I believe you will be fine."
Eridu pinched the bridge of their nose. "Alright, I'll modify." Their gaze narrowed as they turned to Ibirapitá. "I'm too old."
Ibirapitá paused, blinked, and narrowed his eyes at Eridu. "You are too old? Eri, do you know how old I am?"
Rainier, Squire of Mercury Location: H5 Action: Attacking CH with Surtur (physical attack not using magic pool) Roll: 2+10(pin)+5(Squire) HP: 125-35=90 + (either 4 or 8 from Acrucis)???
Over the last couple of years, Rainier had grown accustomed to Surtur’s poetic way of speaking, Shakespearean in a way, but most often enlightened. In dark times, his words have often been a source of encouragement and strength when the odds are not in their favor.
Whereas Beira, to her, felt like their pillar; the center source that drew the three of them together. There was no other way to explain why she felt the need, not just want, to wait for him. But his presence alone brought a calmness with how he carried himself and approached situations with a calm, collected, and rational mind.
When Acrucis looked up at her, Rainier couldn’t help but laugh quietly at the puzzled look on the Senshi’s face. It was endearing, really.
“Trust me,” she said gently, placing a reassuring hand on her shoulder, “Surtur’s words are sincere.” Her smile was warm and confident.
“Beira,” Rainier turned to the Senshi of Loneliness, a look of trust settling on him. “Will you two watch her for just a moment. I can’t let you two have all the fun.” Seeing as they both already attacked the Calamitous Hollow, she was feeling a little left out and would hate to look like a slacker if she didn’t take her chance and do something to it now.
Like Surtur, she took advantage of the shift in gravity and jumped to strike the creature with her weapon.
Squire: The weapon design doesn't change however the cable cord is more sturdy and can reach up to 10' in a single direction. Accuracy goes down after 7' with a higher chance of missing the target unless they're not moving. Once it has hit its target, ice will expand from the crescent shape in about a 6"R to help it not just fall off the opponent with a simple shrug
Sailor Acrucis, Super Senshi of Prayer Location: H8 Action: Healing Surtur, Beira, Rainier, and herself with her super magic Total: 2+10(pin)+5(Super) = 17 ((If her magic normally is applied to two people, would this be 17HP for two characters and thus split 8 HP for two people and 9 HP for the other two?)) HP: 125-35=90+( either 4 or 8 from her own heal)???
An embarrassed sweep of pink swept across her face, tinting the tip of her ears a bright reddish hue that was mostly hidden by her long hair.
“I’m sorry,” she apologized to Surtur. Though implied by Rainier, she didn’t want to admit out loud that she thought he was teasing her with kind words. In all her years of being a Senshi, or working at Destiny City Memorial Hospital, nobody, other than her parents, had ever spoken to her with such uplifting sincerity, except for Tristan.
It was unfamiliar but not at all unwelcome.
When Rainier returned, she gave both Beira and Surtur a small smile, finding warmth and hope in their camaraderie, before bringing her hands together, “Prayer of Healing.” Her hands were held out to both of them, but unexpectedly, all four of them were bathed in a soft yellow light as a heal over time was cast upon them.
The storm before had kicked up debris, chaos Queen Laurelite wielded felt like acid upon their skin, and when the Calamitous Hollow fell upon the shield, an electrical shockwave rolled over everyone. The most she could hope for was relief from any unseen injuries they had sustained.
She did turn towards Kaifaeng and the others he had pulled across the battlefield to find his friend and bring her to Rainier. Thankful for his help, she held a promise in her heart that when the soft yellow light faded, she would cast it again on him and those he surrounded himself with.
Super Sailor Scout Attack: Prayer of Healing Same as above but it can be cast on up to two people at a time that are either in front of her or to her sides. This attack can heals moderate cuts, scrapes, bruises over the next 10 seconds (minor injuries heal in 5 seconds). It can reduce the severity of a major injury but will not completely heal it** and can be cast 3 times.
In the event that there is only one target to heal her Prayer of Healing does a double heal which increases the time from 10 seconds to 20. This heal does not heal severe wounds it can only reduce the recovery time it takes for severe wounds to heal.*see below* - More useful in battle situations outside of ORP's - It is a heal over time that allows a target to continue fighting while still receiving the heal benefits up to moderate wounds. - The moderate wound still heals at the 10 second mark and anything after that provides relief from the pain of anything deemed severe. (ie if a wound is received at the 2 second mark it will heal at the 12 second etc.)
**After using all 3 of her Prayer of Healing's on one individual who has suffered a severe wound OOCly please follow post 1 to determine the number of days for reduced recovery here
