The next house was an all green one, with all green decorations. This might of been a long shot, but Lazarus was sure that the nightmare who lived here liked green. Maybe he could try to get something from this place?
Lazarus
Nasty green gum and a green plushie. Yep, this nightmare was obsessed with green. At least the plushie was of rather good quality.
Yihad was getting rather tired, letting out a yawn as hu came to another house. This one seemed interesting. Perhaps hu could go trick or treating for a few more houses?
Yihad
It's a rock... okay then. Yihad was just glad that hu liked rocks, and that hu also got a really nice plushie.
Ares debated on going back into the haunted house. With the new familiar, he felt he ought to take it home at least, before he went back to scaring the children. With the feline purring in his arms he sighed and turned to go find whoever was in charge of this house in particular. The cat leaped out of his arms as soon as he turned and trotted off. Quirking an eyebrow at that, he trotted into the house and went about finding the owner. Someone would have to be told he would be gone for a bit.
It took him a bit, but he eventually found someone and let them know what was going on. He got the A-ok to take the cat home and was sent on his way. The moment the imp stepped out of the haunted house a flying ball of fur leaped into his arms again. Ares caught her, just barely. She dropped something into his hand when he reached to pet her and he was disgusted to see it was some sort of. . turnip? It looked more like a tiny shrunken head, especially with the drool covering it. Ares wiped the thing off before putting it in the bucket, away from all the rest of his goods. Time to take Tallulah home, before she brought him more. . .'treats.'

Well, they went to find games just as Emma had wanted to and ended up playing a round of ring toss. Laurel wasn't too pleased with winning his pile of gross candy, but mustered a smile when Emma came back with their prizes. That candy apple looked so good, maybe he'd get one next time?
Emma, still too busy with their swirl pop to enjoy a new sweet, kept the apple in it's wrapping and opted to snuggle the plushie they'd one instead. It was so fluffy, just like the ones Laurel had in his room! It would be really funny if they got just as many plushies as Laurel won last year tonight! Then they'd really be two demons of a tail!

Sascha sighed again as Dahlia got yet another trick, this time in the form of a popcorn hand. He slipped the swirl pop he'd won into his pail and silently prayed to Nine that his daughter would keep her cool for the rest of the night. Otherwise, he'd need to bring her straight back home for the night, and he didn't want to leave that kind of negative impression on such a fun holiday.
Dahlia couldn't believe it! How could she get two gross things in a row? She heaved a sigh of her own and shoved the popcorn hand into her bucket. There had better be some better candy coming up soon, or she'd be getting really cross!

Though her toes still hurt a little, Sequoia decided that sitting around wasn't doing her much good and rose to continue wandering around. Basil and Eli stayed close to her side, the Nezubat occasionally perching on her shoulder between flying breaks, and eventually they came upon another house. There was yet another bowl placed outside for kids to pick from and what was inside made Sequoia squeal.
"This is my fifth plushie in a row!" She cried, barely noticing the lollipop taped to it's fluffy back. "Do I have all the plushies now? My bag is getting really full!"

After rushing the first few doors Glitch slowed down their pace, not because their caretaker asked them too calling them back to the safety of the group, but because they wanted to for thematic reasons. Walking somberly along the tail end of the group this is when Glitch began to narrate their thoughts like film noir.
Glitch: "The sound of rustling leaves followed me as I walked, much like the rookie who stayed silent at my side. I would have rather to walk the beat on my own for a stealth job such as this, but at least the kid wasn't causing me any trouble. Like a wolf in sheep's clothing, which I just so happened to be dressed up as, I mirrored the path and actions of children running along the path for sweets at each door. As I did so I squinted looking for any signs of that candy thief lurking about. Nothing, at least not yet.
Keep your eyes peeled rookie and at least try to act natural. The kid responded by nodded his head.
You don't talk much do yah? "
Picking up the pace as Glitch gets closer to the next door extending the rookies pumpkin head out towards the Nightmare handing out candy. T
Glitch: "Trick or Treat!"
Another candy score! In no time my basket will be full and I'll be perfect bait for the Confectionery Corraler.
Now on their way to the next spot, Hailey couldn't help peering over at Khai's hand holding onto his new mom's hand. She wasn't jealous of him getting a mom, but she sure did feel sad that her friend was taken away. With a sneaky look in her eyes she quickly moved, yanking his hand and pulling him away from his mom. "C'mon Khai! More candy over here!" she shouted.
The unexpected yanking on his arm cause Malachi to give a yelp, letting go of mom's hand as his friend dragged him along. His little feet tripped and stumbled over themselves as he did his best to keep up with her. Then, somehow the chaos of the moment seemed to dim down as they stopped moving. He gave a confused look to Hailey as she stood by the candy bowl, waiting.... Huh... waiting... Slowly he reached his hand over, watching his friend the entire time, wondering if she was going to try and snitch first.
When Malachi pulled his hand back, a little paper ghost in hand, he smiled a bit. Not only did Hailey let him go first this time, but his little prize was so cute!.. Well sorta. It made a really silly face. Before she could object, Malachi put the paper ghost into Hailey's bucket, smiling to her.
Hailey debated protesting, but since she didn't have anything in her bucket at that moment, she decided not to. Plus.... c'mon... cute paper ghost from her best friend! Giggling, she took her turn this go, pulling back a weird vegetable. "Ewww! Gross!" she shouted and giggled as she shook it at Malachi. "It looks like a shrunken head!" she exclaimed, laughing the entire time. Oh course this wasn't enough, so when Malachi looked away, she snitched something else, quickly and carefully stuffing it in her bucket along with the shrunken head turnip and the paper ghost.
Eidil looked around. There had to be some game they could play next...She preferred playing games to trick-or-treating and she knew Callessa felt the same. It was just more fun this way--it gave them something to talk about, and it gave the promise of better prizes. And it focused their attention, and, as if any of those weren't enough, no game master at the fair would frown at them and tell them that they were "too old" for games. The adults would tell them that they were too old for trick-or-treating, though, and that was just the worst thing ever.
The young demoness paused in front of a booth with two troughs of water. Floating in each one was a small plastic pumpkin. "Hey, Cal, care for a squirt gun race? That is what this is, right?" she asked the Demon running the booth.
"Yep! Get it to the other end of the line before your friend does, and you win a prize! Do it in less than fifteen seconds, and win another prize."
Eidil looked over at her friend, who was nodding thoughtfully. Eidil turned back to the other Demon. "We're in!"
She and Cal picked up their squirt guns and, at the signal, started firing. Eidil squealed in triumph as her pumpkin shot across the finish line seconds later.
The adult Demon whistled. "Nicely done!" they said. "Fourteen and a half seconds, very nice!" They handed her a little plush and a piece of candy.
Eidil turned to her friend, who was smiling ruefully. "Good game?" Eidil asked.
Oh, she was in Arkham! That was a pleasant surprise. He was a little surprised about her area of interest, though--he'd never met someone who was all that interested in buildings. But then again, well, someone had to be interested in buildings, he supposed. Otherwise, how would they get built? "There are some nice buildings here," he said. "Dad says that Grendel has fancy--I forget the word for them, but they're like the front of a building without the back--all over the buildings. Apparently the architecture students build them for senior projects or master theses or something. Maybe you'll design one someday! I can't wait to see it when you do.
"I like theater, personally," he added. "I like shows and movies and stuff. I want to be a director when I grow up!" He grinned again at her. "Maybe we'll be in the same classes next year. Or maybe we could take electives together. Dad wants me to take herbalism. I'm not sure why. I'm not really a plant person."
His father coughed above him. He looked up to see that the Geist was looking away. Maybe he saw something interesting? He looked in the direction Jurvik was looking, but saw nothing. Oh well. He turned back to Eilwen.

I swear I will never do the "roll first, roleplay later" method again. I am so sorry about all of this.
A name? Oh, great. Names. That was a thing that existed for things he had to take care of: the whole "naming" thing. He looked down at the scruffy, metaphorically mangy cat and tried to think. "Amygdale," he said finally. "It means an inclusion in a piece of lava that's filled in with some other type of mineral, like quartz or zeolite." The cat looked up at him and slowly blinked its eyes, as if to show approval. It kept winding around his legs as if to trip him. "It goes along with the name of my wisp," he added. "My wisp's name is Geode, so yeah, Amygdale's something similar." And perhaps, underneath that messy fur and sudden upset, there was a glittering cache of treasure. Certainly the silly thing kept acting like it.
It was hard not to get endeared to this cat. It was like the thing with Foras--something that attached to him like a leach, as if it was sure that he could make their life better. He sighed. "I really hope you don't live to regret picking me," he told the cat. "Because I'd hate to have to find you a new home, Amygdale." He turned to another passer-by. "Trick or treat?"
The Geist gave him a mischievous grin and dropped to objects in rapid succession in his bucket. A rock--his bucket was starting to groan with the dumb things--and a little stuffed bat. He pulled out the bat and put it in Foras's bucket. As he did, he noticed a puff of purple in there. "Looks like you're trying to collect the whole set, Foras," he said with a teasing grin.
Leopleuradon
I'd love to do an RP later where he gives Foras all of the treats he got! I feel like we won't have time in this RP.
Yua was excited! She hadn't been alive long enough to be aware of what this 'halloween' was exactly, but it involved candy and anything that involved sweets was good in her book!
The small imp waddled around with curiosity as she gazed from place to place. She was suppose to be holding her caretakers hand right about now, but Yua was off on her own, oblivious to the fact that she probably should have followed the rules. After having picked a ghostly green pumpkin basket she had set off to ask houses for candy- as that seemed to be the main way of getting treats!
She had only visited one of the houses so far, but the imp starred down in her hand with disappointment. What kind of candy was this? It didn't look very good, actually it looked rather old. But food was food, so Yua had shoved it into her basket regardless. Hopefully she'd get better tasty treats as the night went on! Yum!

Caper smiled a little as Kiessi got their first pet. He swung his pail a little. "It's really big," he murmured, reaching out to pet it gently. Suddenly though another fox had appeared and he took a step back - it was almost identical to the one Kiessi had received and the Nightmare was pointing to him!
"Mine?" he echoed, and Evan groaned somewhere above their heads. He smiled aloof, looking ten times brighter than before as he mirrored Kiessi, hugging the creature's leg. "Look! Bats and pets," he beamed, his words still soft spoken though the excitement showed.
Vanna held up the little paper doll he got and had to hide a smile, the frowny face reminded him of someone. Abel was often a bit too preoccupied when he came to visit and Vanna figured a little figurine could go unnoticed besides weren’t these guys also good for bringing wanted rain? Or something to that effect. He placed the paper doll in his bag when he noticed a plushie of all things that wasn’t the vespercats he had just gotten. Wait… when did that get in there?
Layren sighed and sat down on a bench. No Family, no familiar faces, no one stopping long enough to ask for directions. This was getting ridiculous, how big could a festival be. He had nice spoils from the festival yes, but he really wanted to spend it with Nasai and Morin and possibly his new uncle Morin had told him about. “LAYREN! Layren” oh… oh he knew that voice. His lower lip wibbled a bit and he looked up spotting a familiar face in the crowd. Seconds later he leapt off the bench and into Nasai’s arms. Never noticing the bag of candy corn getting dropped in his pail.
