Morin spotted Kappa apparently the same time Kappa spotted him and his earlier statement was correct Kappa didn’t look like he was doing well at all. Ugh Morin knew he should have gotten here earlier but Homework and Nasai coming home with Layren for the first time had taken up a lot of his time. Still he was here now. “Hey Kappa, guess I’m really late aren’t I? Let’s move out of such a busy area” It would also help since Morin could hardly hear any one. It was just a loud mumble of sounds.
Since he was so focused on Kappa, he totally missed the Plushie that suddenly hit him in the side of the head. Morin hid a wince glad that the plushies where mostly soft anyways and stuck it in his school bag.

Caper stayed close to Evan's side, hand almost perpetually out stretched to ensure the Imps was only so far away. He watched the other Freshlings Trick or Treating, getting gifts just for saying words. He tilted his head a little as he watched a one-eyed Baphomet do it before him. Caper looked briefly up at his adoptive mother for confirmation before shyly muttering the words. "Thank you," he breathed, looking into his pail at the candy bat. Suddenly something larger was being pushed into his arms and he blinked as he grabbed the plush. "Oh."
He squeezed his new toy, looking over to where Kiessi was sliding on their prize. "It matches," the Giest informed the other child without invite, expression sort of devoid as he admired the orange and black beads.

Sprout continued moving around, eyeing the booths from afar. It seemed like everyone had really come out tonight. Trying his luck, the Fallen approached one of the booths. However, his words didn't seem to mean much, the booth keeper just shaking their head. What? A bit disappointed, they went off to find another.
After getting his bucket and favorite treat, Laurel set off to peruse the rest of the sights. It was hard to believe that a year had already passed since he had been here last. He'd won most of the plushies in his collection last year, if he remembered right, and it had been a lot of work to carry them all home, too! Maybe he'd get lucky again this year and get a bunch more? He beamed at the thought and twirled the swirly pop around, before popping it back into his bucket for safe keeping. There was surely going to be a lot of candy to be found, so he had to save some up for later! With a vision of a giant pile of candy in mind, he skipped his way toward his next destination.
It was a booth, not unlike the one with the buckets, but this one had vespercat plushies holding swirly pops on it! He wiggled with glee and picked an interestingly colored plushie that was leaning off to the side, which was quickly snuggled to his chest. This Haunted Hallows was off to a great start! Hopefully his luck didn't change anytime soon, he wanted to bring more plushies home than he did last year!

Once they were finished at the entrance, Sascha decided it would be alright if he introduced Dahlia to some of the various games that the campus had set up for the event. There seemed to be the usual carnival style games there, such as bean bag toss and balloon popping, but all of them had some sort of silly Halloween twist to them. Furthermore, everyone running the booths were all dressed up, some with full on face paint or even wearing an unsettling mask. Sascha had more of a problem with the masks than most Nightmares did, apparently, judging by just how many people were flocking toward the booths. Or, maybe they didn't mind it specifically because it was a Halloween themed event. They'd probably be just as offset as he was if it were any other day in the year, right? He liked to think so.
"Do you want to play the bean bag game, Dahlia?" He asked, leaning down toward her. "Then we can go play the balloon pop game when the crowd gets a little less busy."
Dahlia knew that her daddy wasn't as brave as the other Nightmares and held tightly to his hand in hopes that he'd feel more comfortable out in the crowd. She actually liked being in big groups of people, it made her feel safe and secure. However, she could see the other side of the coin and understood why he daddy might not feel the same way. Crowds could get big and noisy, and you could get lost really quick if you weren't careful or with a buddy. It wasn't always the best place to be when you were by yourself. She smiled up to Sascha as he leaned down and nodded firmly.
"Yeah! Let's go play!" She agreed, tugging Sascha toward the bean bag game.
She hopped up against the booth as they approached and waved toward the masked senior behind the counter until she was given a trio of bean bags. However, she waited until he daddy had his three bean bags before she began to toss. Her first two throws missed the mark by a lot, but when her last bean bag sunk into the cup, she couldn't help but bounce about.
"Did you see that, daddy? I got one in the cup, I got one in the cup!" She cheered, clapping her hands. "Does that mean I get a prize?"
Her head turned up to the senior again as they leaned down and presented her with a purple sugar skull, before grinning as they handed a blue one to Sascha. Wow! Her daddy won a prize? Now they had matching candy, too! She plopped her sugar skull into her bucket and reached out for Sascha's hand again.
"Next stop, balloon pop!" She said, pointing toward the next booth.

Sequoia had wandered her way around the park at least once from the time she had arrived, and to her disappointment, not a single booth seemed to be devoted solely to Nezubat plushies! Her ears pinned back as she pouted and she nuzzled into the plush she'd found in her basket before. She wouldn't give up looking, of course, it just seemed silly that they wouldn't have a bunch more sitting about for kids to collect! A sigh slipped from her lips and she continued along her way, her eyes glancing every which way for any changes to the booths.
"Come on... How hard is it to find Nezubats around here?" She whined, clutching her plush closer to her chest. "There's gotta be one around somewhere..."
Then, suddenly, something grabbed onto her shoulder and her head whipped upward to take a look. Oh, the irony, it was a real Nezubat, and it had something in it's mouth!
"Ewww, a popcorn hand! Gross!" She exclaimed, flailing at the offending object, before noticing the sad look on the Nezubat's face. "Aw, nooo, it's okay! I didn't mean it! I just don't like popcorn, that's all!"
She gave the Nezubat a pat and giggled when it nuzzled against her touch. Well, she'd gotten what she'd asked for! Now she had a cuddly plushie and the real thing!

She chewed absentmindedly on the remains of the lollipop still stubbornly clinging to the stick. Twirling it in her mouth, she sat tapping her pencil before writing down another possible solution. Her current class had her trying to design a ball gown with a very set budget. She had the design already, but having to pick and choose which fabrics to both accommodate cut and cost was proving to be frustrating. She couldn't tell if the sugar high was hurting or helping, but the new lolli sitting next to her was just too tempting to resist. Especially since it seemed to be shaping up to be a long night of homework.

This was shaping up to be a pretty good ToT, though they still needed a better costume. Another house, another treat, and this time a whole bag of it. Candy corn wasn't a favorite, but when the sugar stash was dwindling these would definitely be welcome. Plus they seemed to keep forever. Thanking the lady at the door, Eli scurried on, wondering if they'd bump into anyone they knew. Tayce
There was a tour through a pumpkin patch that night, a supervised activity for Freshlings, she was sure. Looking around at the others, she accepted the box of raisins one of the caretakers was handing out for snacks, though she was sure she wouldn't eat it. Pocketing it, she rode along in the bumpy wagon before they reached the patch. Scrambling out with the others, she had fun climbing on top of the big ones and tripped more than once on some vines. One looked different though, and when she went to investigate she realized it was a pumpka! Lifting it up, she hurried back to show the caretakers, wondering if they'd let her keep it.

Nezubat plush! Heck yea. Some kind soul was apparently still going around and dropping them into the buckets of busy seniors that just left their Trick or Treat pails outside in the halls. He was wrapping up his classes and didn't have much time honestly. Picking up the round ball of fuzz and giving it a squish, he noticed yet another poop gummy with a shake of his head before retreating to his room again to fill out more homework.

"THIS IS THE BEST CHOCOLATE I'VE EVER PUT IN MY MOUTH." Roaring into the microphone, trying out different forms of growls, he took another bite and repeated the process. The enchantment made it so he said the exact same phrase with every bite, which was amusing and a good way of testing different sounds. He'd play back the recording later to get a good idea how enunciated the words came across, as well as tone. Another bite, another growled proclamation for his supposed love of the candy bar.
Miela clutched her nezubat plush against her chest as she wandered about, swinging her pumpkin basket in her other hand. There were so many children and adults here wandering about and the hum of activity was quite noticeable. She caught little snippets of conversation as she made her way through the festival, things like what to have for dinner, what a child got from a booth, and so on. She was a bit disappointed that she was here by herself, but her caretakers had been busy managing others.
After a few moments another booth drew her eye, and she made her way over to it with a curious smile. There was a dart board set up behind the counter with numbers written on a plastic surface, and she assumed that you had to hit a certain number. A nice-looking Geist man smiled down at her and leaned on the counter so he was closer to her height. "Hello, would you like to try?"
"Yes please," Miela replied, eagerly setting her basket and plushie on the counter and stepping up on the stool in front of it. The Geist chuckled softly and handed her a dart with a big suction cup on the end of it. "Okay, throw this and try to hit one of the numbers. The one you get closest to is the bag that you win." He gestured to a line of closed paper bags decorated in very festive colors that corresponded to the numbers on the board.
Miela held her tongue in the corner of her mouth just right as she threw the dart, beaming happily when it stuck to the board near the number 12. The Geist applauded her and went to fetch the dart and her bag. "Great job! Here you go. Come back soon!" Miela smiled and gathered her things before wandering away from the booth. She eagerly opened the taped bag and peeked inside, wondering what she'd won. Inside was a soft vespercat plush, colored orange and black to fit in with the holiday. It was so cute! She pulled it out of the bag and tucked it under her arm, but spotted something else in the bottom of the bag. Wait... raisins? Ugh. She didn't hate them, but they weren't really what she wanted when she was trick-or-treating. She dropped the little square box into her pumpkin for now, then deposited the empty paper bag in the nearest trash can. She was only able to carry around so many things, after all. Points/History

Tobias was obviously wearing something that cut down on his orange or at least wearing something that made trying to find him in a crowd almost impossible. With a huff she crawled on top of a booth that had its owner out on break. Luckily from there she was able to find him. With a smile she jumped down and maneuvered through the crowd. “Tobias! I found you” she smiled and then had to smile again when she realized he was a nezubat this Halloween. Well he certainly made one of the most adorable nezubats.
Another PLUNK could be heard coming from Ezra's bucket. He looked inside, and then tilted his head. He dug around before rooting out one of the black wrapped candies. They felt harder than the rock he had gotten earlier...
He then felt a small press against his back. He snapped his head around only to find a Specterfox looking at him! He had read about these in a book before, and apparently they made for good pets. Ezra looked around. No one seemed to be looking for something missing. The ghostly fox booped his face with her wet nose which made him laugh a bit.
"Well, I guess you can follow me if you want" he said with a nod. "Just don't get in the way of people walking!"
The freshling demon wanted so very badly to tug her caretaker faster toward the fair area of the celebration. Pepper had taken her time picking out and putting on her costume. Her bright green hair had been given ringlet curls and pinned back with a makeshift star on one side. Her outfit had had to be just right, the green scaled skirt and the top had taken all her allowance to get and the nice caretaker had even given her a magnificent cape to go with it and keep her warm. Asking one of the adults very nicely had resulted in her getting some sparkles on her face and some nail polish to make her nails seem extra shiny. Her plush friend had gotten left behind but one of her skyfish accompanied her. Cary was shy, but Raffe was enjoying flying around her. Her two skyfish had given her the idea to go as a mermaid and she was more than pleased with the result.
Right inside the gate a friendly imp gave her a choice of pails and her first treat of the night. Picking out a pretty brown pumpkin, she put the chocolate bat into it and tried not to hurry on to where she could see more candy being given out. Tonight was going to be so much fun!

Ares was more than pleased with his costume. With a bit of tinkering on his part he'd managed to craft a pretty great cyborg outfit. Small bits of crystal tech clung to his figure and he'd disguised one arm as a cyborg one. The same had been done to one of his legs, both his horns and there were wires running throughout the fluff around his neck. Hopefully he could scare a few of the freshlings and maybe impress some of the older nightmares. Heading into the festival after he'd wrapped up his studying, he received one of the pumpkin pails and a few compliments from those attending to a booth. That'd be useful in holding anything he managed to collect from the games. Glancing inside however, he noticed there was already a pile of poop inside. Gross.
The bright green color, and a quick prod revealed that it was just a gummy candy. A sigh of relief and he left it in. Who knows, maybe it would turn out to be pretty tasty. Looking around, he hoped to find a good game to try his hand at.
Frey sighed and got up. He might as well brave the festival again. Just because he didn’t have any one to go with at the current time didn’t mean that he couldn’t at least check out some more booths. Besides just sitting there on the bench started getting him weird looks. However as he left to go rejoin the crowd he noticed a bag of cotton candy and a plushie left behind? Well the poor thing looked lonely and he wasn’t one to waste cotton candy after all, especially sealed up cotton candy.
While heading back to his dorm to get his costume, Lazarus noticed another game he would like to try. Perhaps this one would wield better results for sweets? The game in question was quite simple. The host of the game would call out a shape or color and you would try to get on a spot that had that color or shape. However, you couldn't share a spot with someone else. So that meant it was kind of like musical chairs in a way. It was worth a shot right?

"I seem to of gotten you a friend," Lazarus chuckled as he was given his prizes, a spectrefox and some sort of disgusting looking poo gummy candy ", They sure are a beauty. I expect you both to behave, you got it? Not only that, but you two need to behave around my Skyfish, okay?"
It seemed they understood, so Lazarus smiled at his two new familiars (One from earlier) before bringing them to his dorm so he could change into his costume.
One more ring for Yihad, and all hu had to do was get it to go on another pole after throwing it. So far hu had made it every time, but perhaps now hus luck would run out? It had to! There was no way it wouldn't! However, hu still had to try and throw the ring, lifting up hus arm and letting it soar through the air toward the poles.

Another throw on the outer edges near the back, this time the litch recieving raisins and another plushie! Some would think the raisins were a bad thing, but Yihad actually kind of liked them. It meant hu could snack on them during school and not get a sugar high.
"Ready for the next throw?" Candy asked once again while Phyre kept snuggling her new plushie. Now why was it the freshling had such huge attachment to plushies? Perhaps they had been her only friend in the orphanage? That would make sense after all.
The hybrid nodded before putting her plushie away, readying her throw to see if she got something else. Phyre would like another plushie, but some candy would do too.

"More plushies!" The hybrid cheered once again, bouncing excitedly. After seeing which plushie Candy got, Phyre got the plushie of the same type but opposite color to hers. It was seeming as if Phyre was quickly growing closer to Candy the more they spent time together ", They can be mommy and daughter plushies. Your's is mommy and mine is daughter, just like us!"
"That is right Phyre," Candy put her plushie away while getting Phyre her next bean bag to throw, trying to ignore the gummy poo that had also been given to Phyre as a prize. She would have to make a mental note on figuring out why her adopted daughter was so into these plushies. Sure they were cute, but surely that wasn't the only reason.
