Adelinde's next stop wasn't nearly so inspiring as the first. But then, really, not everyone was going to be as much into the spirit of the holiday as everyone else. Still. It distinctly annoyed her to see a gross, poo-shaped gummy tossed so casually into her bucket. Barely managing a civil "Thank you", she turned and was almost immediately smacked in the face by a low-flying and somewhat bumbling nezubat.
Carefully extricating the poor, squeaking thing from her hair, she held it close and stroked it's face for a few moments until it calmed down.
"That's a good baby," she cooed. "You're fine. Just startled by everything going on, I'll bet."
Once the bat was fully calmed, she opened her hands so that it could fly off and was mildly surprised when it looked at her, squeaked and happily settled itself in. Well. It looked like she'd made a new friend!
Chuckling as Coralie continued to have rotten luck, Ashlyyn could only shake her head.
"Serves you right for trying to outdo your own kids," she teased. Her chuckles were rapidly silenced at the next stop. As a handful of what looked to be 20 year old candy dropped into her bucket, she had to fight to keep from grimacing and keeping herself to a civil nod. She would have kept moving and forgotten about it had it not been for the rustling coming from her bucket. Holding it up warily, she found herself face to face with a soft, gray flitterat.
"Stow away, hrmm?" she murmured. She noticed what seemed to be a second set of wings and began to grin. "Well, look at that. Wanna be buddies, little guy?"
Ezra skuttled over to the ring toss. He saw a few people gathering there and he thought it looked fun to toss the rings at the poles. The tender of the game handed him a few rings and explained how the game worked. Ezra made sure to listen intently and nodded to show that he understood the instructions before aiming where he wanted to toss.
The rings made a sort of PLOCK sound as they hit the poles and slid down them. The tender complimented Ezra's aiming and tossing skills and handed him a plush batty, much to Ezra's delight. Now his first batty had a friend! As he went to set the prize into his bucket, he noticed that there was a lollipop in there now as well. Now where did that come from?
The grimm's next stop was a booth offering tries at tossing balls into a cup. Concentrating on getting at least one ball into a cup, Zahneel managed to pot two. A smiling Imp handed her a pretty beaded bracelet and Zahneel quickly pulled it over her wrist. It didn't really match her costume, but she liked the bracelet. It would last her a lot longer than candy would.

Okay, so candy and tasty eatables were nice and all. But right now, Binhdi was alllll about the cute accessories that some people were starting to give out. She saw one younger grimm walk away from a ball game with a bracelet and made up her mind to try for a similar prize.
She only managed to pot one ball, but still, somehow, that was enough to win her a small prize. As she admired the small, pumpkin beads, she tucked it carefully into her bucket. She didn't want to lose it in the crowd after all!

Gilby's next attempt at trick or treating wasn't quite as successful as the first, but they liked raisins and weren't all that sad to see a small end end up in their bucket. The bigger surprise was seeing the pale nezubat plush lying by itself in the grass. Looking around, Gilby picked it up and put it into their bucket. No one else was around or looked like they'd lost it. Maybe it could really belong to them after all!

Still a bit disappointed about her last acquisition, Miela wandered over to a promising-looking booth. Not only were there a bunch of different things lined up on the table, but there were also plushies lining the shelf in the back! She was immediately drawn in by them, but knew that they were likely prizes for something. The elderly Imp attendant smiled at her as she approached, reaching down to hand her a ball.
"Toss this at the bottles and knock them down for a prize, sweetie!" She croaked, her voice kind but gravelly due to age. Miela curled her fingers around the bright orange ball and screwed up her mouth a little, staring at the offending bottles just past the counter. There was a stool for her to stand on at the very least, but she wasn't confident in her strength. After winding up her arm and letting the ball fly, she managed to knock two of the six stacked bottles off, at which the attendant cooed in praise. "Good job! You get a little treat, and you get to pick a small toy."
While Miela carefully analyzed the plushies she got to choose from, dutifully (but reluctantly) ignoring the larger ones, the old Imp dropped something into her pumpkin bucket. She was too busy to pay attention to what she got, too absorbed in her choice. This was important! She had to pick the right one! Ultimately she pointed one of her little arms at a small, fluffy purple nezubat with floppy pink wings. "I want that one..."
The old crone twisted her wrinkled face into a smile and fetched it for her, and Miela seized it eagerly to her chest. "Come back soon sweetie, and try for a bigger one!" As the young Fallen wandered away, pleased with her new friend, she noticed the item the woman had placed into her bucket: a crudely-made popcorn hand with candy corn fingernails. She supposed it wasn't a terrible thing, but she'd been at least hoping for some chocolate... Points/History

Another round with the pachinko game, but Candy knew she had to be quick. There was someone she was picking up for the first time, and she didn't want to be late what so ever. After all, she wanted to give the little one a good first impression
Managing to get a bracelet, Candy put it in her bucket before pulling herself mentally away from the game and to the meeting spot. Perhaps she could help her little one get a prize of her own after they met up?
Unsure where to go next, Lazarus decided to try and get some more food for his new familiar, and the fishing game seemed like a good one to try in order to get something. All he would have to do is take a fishing pole with a magnet at the end, pick a 'fish' from the 'pond', and the number on the bottom would be his prize
Well... it couldn't be that bad right? After all, it was popcorn and candy corn! However, he would try it out first before giving it to his familiar. It only took one bite of the popcorn for him to tie it back together and throw it in his bucket ", You do not want that my friend. It is not good. Well, onto the next game.
Coming to another game, Yihad let out a sigh to calm humself down from hus excitement high. Surely hu wouldn't win another prize. After all, hu wasn't meant to do so well in social situations, and there were nightmares everywhere!
Hu came across a ring toss game that had next to no one at it. Perfect amount of people for hum. Yihad got in line and waited for it to be hus turn, it not taking long for hum to get to the front and be given three rings to toss and make it around the poles. It hu didn't get a ring on a pole that was zero points, but each pole was worth different points. The orange pole in the middle was worth the most, but Yihad wasn't aiming for that one. Each ring was a prize to be won, but could hu do it?
At first Yihad was disappointed as hu managed to get the purple ring on the far left, receiving some candy that hu could tell just by looking at it was expired. Just like hu suspected hus luck was running out. Being out in public with so many people was now causing hum to embarrass humself. However, the nightmare in charge of the game surprised Yihad by saying hu was the first today to get that pole, letting hum have a verpsercat plushie. Oh wow! Maybe hu wasn't having so bad of luck, and hu still had two more rings to throw.
Yue hadnt planned on coming, in fact she was busy trying to graduate but then this would be her last Halloween at the academy. Maybe even the last time to go with Tobias before he thought he was too big for trick or treating or before Keegan became the more preferred partner. Homework could wait. She was almost done anyways. Quickly riffling through her closet she picked out an outfit and made her way out to the festival.
Of course finding Tobias was another matter altogether. “Tobias… tobias” oh that was going to get her almost nowhere. Neither was tripping on random things on the ground. Who would dump this on the ground… no she needed to find out where Tobias was.
Pherein made a weird scrunched up giggly noise when kie went for their tummy. “How about we just all share our treats. It is our first trick or treat out after all” she replied. She had mentioned they had pulled a prank and been banned from the last one and then the time before and before that the orphanage hadn’t had enough care takers to take them.
It was then that Kieren tripped over a pumpka. “These ones seem to have a death wish but look we have one more” she clapper her hands. Kie’s first pumpka and Kepi wouldn’t be sad any more. It was about then they were distracted by a familiar shriek of one of their friend’s names. Whelp now they knew the direction Korv was in. Pherein frowned and reached down it seemed like someone had forgotten a bracelet and a poor nezubat plushie. Pherein would just have to give them a good home instead.
Figures Zillah would pick a science type one. Well as long as she didn’t run back to their dorm room he’d go for it. He even got in the sibling spirit and cheered her on even though he was pretty sure that she had figured out some trick to it. His smarts however came more for making sure people where healthy and fixing their problems. Well that and catching crazy familiars. Speaking of which he should probably tell Zillah he had a familiar soon.
Right now however he was going to try his luck at this game. First try was a total dud but he did get to win a nice braclet and a plushie. It was then that Zillah spotted someone and Iah turned around to look at them.
This was followed by Iah promptly frowning; in fact that geist looked very familiar. Hadnt they met once before while he was waiting for Amy. Shaking his head he went back to trying not to be an over protective and stifling older brother. However when she mentioned Vaden she hadnt said he was a senior of all things.
After picking up the rock, Odessa continued on, looking for a place where she could get more treats. It was then that she saw a line, and walked toward it. It seemed like a lot of people were getting nice things from this one, so hopefully she'd find something good too.
When she got to the front of the line, she frowned when she realized that prize had been some old candy. She frowned, but as she moved from the line she realized something else was in there, a cute little bat plushie! Maybe going to that line wasn't so bad after all!
Ella watched her friends, having meandered a bit off to investigate a tiny stand with paper ghosts. She hadn't quite noticed when an older Litch seemed to catch her peeking, but she did jump when he reached towards her.
"A-Ah! Oh! Sorry, I... ooooh!" It took her two seconds to notice the little paper ghost in the mans hand, eagerly snatching it up to examine. The Litch smile at her before waving her off, leaving the hybrid with her new prize in her hands. Giving the tiniest wave back, Ella rushed back to her friends, dropping the little ghost inside her pail.

Momentarily distracted by Korv's screeching (as well as having wiggled free from his grasp), Nex's attention was drawn to the sound of someone calling out. Candy? Someone was handing out free candy? As devoted to Korv he was, he couldn't help but raise his pail and stare at the one handing out treats, a tiny smile appearing when the man dropped a candy in. By smile, what we really mean is his lips curled upwards and exposed his teeth, causing the poor man to shriek and flee. It seemed smiling was still not Nex's forte!
