Adelinde's next stop was the cutest little, old litch couple imaginable. As Adelinde held out her bucket along with everyone else, a tiny, grumpy-faced ghost was dropped in. Smiling and thanking the couple, the baphomet rather thought that the little thing would look awfully cute as a decoration in her dorm room.

Zahneel had hurried away from the latest booth once she could do so with even a hint of politeness. She wanted to get somewhere far enough away that she could discretely dispose of the horrifying turnip thing she'd been given.

As her bat friend chittered and squeaked happily above her head, Binhdi pulled back her arm, aimed, and thew the softball she'd been given as hard as she could. She wanted to knock over the cup pyramid and win a cute plush.
Alas, she only managed to skim away the very top cup. And for that, she was given a smile and a box of raisins. Well, she thought, the bat might like them.

When it was Gilby's turn to trick or treat at the booth, they were actually happy enough to see the box of raisins appear. And even happier to see the funny blobby plush follow. For some reason, the nightmare running the booth looked a little guilty for the plush and Gilby didn't understand why. It was cute! And soft.
"I will name it George," they declared proudly.

Ella was busy inspecting her new familiar when suddenly, almost violently, someone threw a plush at her face. She promptly fell on her bum, letting out a startled squeak. Oh! While she hadn't enjoyed the delivery of the item, she did love the small Vespercat plush!
"Thank you!" She called to the air, hoping whoever tossed it at her heard.

Nex shook his head, glancing back at the alley. No, it was fine, he was sure the fox would find him eventually. He had faith in his new and small friend. When he heard the familiar scream of the Pumpka he had placed himself in-front of Korv, only to be one upped by a.... another fox?
"Willow. What did you do?" He questioned quietly, not noticing something drop from the roof above and into his pail.

"I didn't do anything! I by accident bumped into it!" Ohno. He was going to die! Willow held onto Korv, which later he'd deny. Stepping backwards, his foot slid over a poo gummy, causing him to land on his back. Oh! Joy! What he needed in his time of peril!

"Oh, thank you." Tengu flashed a tiny smile when Des handed him the supposed treat. Someone nearby tossed a plushie into Tengu's bucket, and the hybrid attempted to turn around to thank the other. Oh? He didn't see anyone... well, okay.
He turned around when Des commented, eyes widening at the cat. Kneeling down, he extended a hand, rubbing the cats head before smiling up at his brother. "I think it likes you, Des." He commented, smiling back down at the Vespercat.
"What do you think about going back to my room and watching scary movies? It's a bit... loud here... I need to stop by the pet store for this guy, and I think you need stuff for your new friend, too?"

Eques almost flinched when something came zooming into his pail. What the heck? Who dropped th- oh. It was a candy! Using his free hand, he pulled the candy out to examine it. Ahh, how cool.

Oh no, Kirket had done. He had trapped Ava in a conversation. One question about Maple was enough to lure that unsuspecting Headmistress into his claws. A smile rose right back to her face as she turned to look at Kirket, tail wagging. Since it was stuck inside her suit, the butt of her outfit wiggled. She did not care, or rather, she didn't notice this. She'd find out when people posted it online.
"Maple is settling well. We've had a few bumps at first. Her birth parents did a number on her. She keeps referring to herself as a spider child. I was wondering if I could sign her up to meet you sometime soon? She says she's just playing, but I doubt it." She tilted her head back as someone threw a turnip into her pail, hand raising the bucket only to snap her gaze to Kirket, one hand lifting the turnip by two fingers.

Kappa wasn't expecting a bag of candy to come flying at his head. Luckily, he raised his pail just in time to catch the candy, peering into the pail. Was that necessary?! What if it hit him?!
"H-Hey!" He whimpered before accepting the fact that, yes, candy had dangerously been chucked at him. At least he had something yummy to make up for it.

During his hug fest with Yue, something pushed against his leg. He glanced down, spotting a rather petrified Pumpka looking up at him for comfort. Without thinking, his tail wrapped around the creature, pulling it into the hug.

Litla hadn't expected someone to talk to her, nevertheless a child. She raised her head, blinking back at the child before rubbing the tears from her eyes. Oh, this wouldn't do! Had she worried the child that much? Smiling back, she sat up straight, nodding.
"Y-yeah. Just a rough night, that's all. I'm sorry, was I in your way?" She barely noticed someone drop a plush in her pail, instead focused on the child before her.

This was Maple's first festival. Back when she lived with her birth parents they never took her anywhere, primarily because she was "broken". Then, the orphanage just had too many kids to really escort safely to the festival. Never had she expected both to be adopted and allowed to play with the other kids in the same month! She was allowed to do everything the other kids with homes could do! That and go to school! She was in paradise!
She had a werewolf costume on, baring her teeth playfully at anyone who noticed her. She kept her second set of eyes shut, mostly because she was terrified other kids would squeal in disgust, which was normal in her world. Her new mother was someone powerful (or so she had been told), and she was certain Ava would defend her the second someone picked on the mutant, but that didn't mean she wanted to rely on Ava in the first place. She didn't want to be a burden and abandoned by her, too.
So, she wandered the festival, second pair of eyes shut. This meant her eyesight was hindered, as Maple always used all her eyes to see! So, when she went crashing into another freshling it wasn't a surprise.
"Oh! I'm so so sorry! The hybrid mutant yelped as she stumbled, catching herself. All her eyes opened subconsciously to see who she had slammed into, not noticing when a treat was tossed into her pail.

Oooh noo that Pumpka was really determined. Korv swiveled a little when Willow fell down, and then attempted to help him up again. "Are you okay Willow?"He patted him, then noticed... eyes? At the back of the alley?
He screeched again as another Pumpka came levitating towards them, though this one didn't seem as angry as the other.
It figured Tengu would like the vespercat. He eyed the stranger as they tossed a plush into his pail too, then looked back to Tengu. "Yes, I'd like that." He looked around again, shuddering internally. Far too many people. Too noisy. Too much going on... He leaned over and picked the cat up, cradling it in a free arm. "Let's go. We can stop by the pet store on the way there."
Oh ho ho ~ He'd done it! She was distracted! The mission was a success. He nodded along, ears perking a bit as she mentioned what Maple had endured with her birth parents. How saddening. "Oh of course, I'd be more than happy to talk with her, Ava." He nodded, then snorted at the turnip she held up. "I do believe that's a turnip, Ava. A trick! You know, a popular thing to do this time of year. It's all fun and games, if you don't want it, toss it out!" He nodded.

Oh no, she was crying! Andromeda shook his head, trying to ignore the two Pumpkas that were pressing up against his back. "Oh, no Miss, you weren't in my way." He hoped that was an okay thing to call her... She was a lot older than him, after all! "I was just wondering if you were okay, you seemed sad!"
Aannnndddd willow and the others hadn’t heard her. The crowd hadn’t gotten a bit loud, some laughing or pointing over to where Korv and the others had lost it. Pherein looked back at her twin, knowing they would look after the familiars and darted in and out of the crowed before she got to the alleyway her friends where and without taking into consideration it might attack her she quickly grabbed it whirling the pumpka around to face her.
“NO! I know you are lonely but this isn’t the way to make friends, they’ve been terrified enough. If you want to go home with them you have to be nice. You can play tricks later” Pumpka were awesome familiars you just needed to tell them who was boss. Pherein’s friends needed her so she would be Boss.
Morin had hoped to introduce Kappa to Layren, as Nasai was supposed to be bringing the little grimm boy to the festival sometime soon, but Morin knew that right now Kappa needed to recover from this last adventure. Of course they didn’t get too far as they were suddenly greeted by a Vespercat.
“No, while I have a vespercat at my house that is more Nasai’s familiar than mine. It doesn’t look like the little guy belongs to anyone. Probably one of those stays that tries to find a home during events like these” Morin replied checking really quick to make sure he hadn’t missed a collar, the fur was also more dull and dirty than you would find on an owned vespercat.
He did notice some one sneaking a little paper doll into his back pocket. They probably didnt like them all that much, but it was cute and Morin didnt mind them.
Leaving his new familiars back at his dorm, he changed into his costume and made his way to go get some more candy. He hadn't changed into his costume yet due to having come to the festival right after class, so this might be a whole new experience.

As he was heading back, he ended up being stopped by a random nightmare, being handed off a plushie they didn't want and some gum. It had been a bit unexpected, but Lazarus didn't mind what so ever. It just meant he got more stuff after all.
Getting a bit tired, Yihad made hus way to a spot with not a lot of people around, looking inside hus bucket to see all that hu had gotten. This was a lot of stuff, more than Yihad would of though hu would of gotten. Perhaps after hu rested hu could try for more?

While sitting down, someone came by and gifted Yihad a bracelet to wear, saying they liked hus costume before leaving Yihad there confused and startled. What was that about?
Phyre was going to try hard to make this throw count the most. She wanted another plushie so badly, but she didn't really know which one got her plushies except the ones she had already had her bean bags land in. Maybe if she went for the bucket in the middle she would get a bigger plushie?
After Phyre threw her bag, Candy then threw her's. After this she was thinking of bringing Phyre to her place in order to get the little hybrid the costume she had made for her.

Candy gave a nod, her too being told she could receive a familiar as well. Since it was the Haunted Hallow's Eve festival, she decided on a more rare familiar that only came out around this time of the year. Besides, Candy rather liked the Pumpka and the story of how they came to be ", alright Phyre, how about we head home so we can get you into your costume."
Kiessi was totally full of energy and when they noticed the boy he met was falling behind, they waved at him to hurry, but didn't stop to find more treats. They were on a roll afterall!
Luckily over the years Yue had gotten quite used to Tobias hugs, and knew she’d often get one when she saw him. It became a bit more trickier now that he was a good deal taller but she was still able to keep from being barreled over. She in fact returned the hug back in full. Ugh she would definitely miss this; of course she also planned to visit quite often. They were definitely getting the occasional stare but one look from Yue sent them on their way.
Her newest companion decided it wanted some love as well and gave pats to the top of Tobias’s head before disappearing into Yue’s bag. She gave a slightly sheepish look, because she had told people 5 nezubats were enough but this little guy had needed rescuing while she was searching for Tobias. "Sorry I'm late"

Aella blinked as the bat attached itself to Eques' face and then laughed a bit. "Aww, it's really cute!" she said. "And sort of matches you." she teased just a bit. "A perfect pairing~"

She followed him towards where the haunted house was supposed to be and tried not to look too float-y. She was holding hands with Eques! It was like a good portion of her dreams come true...not that she'd tell him that! That would just be mortifying.
