Drayden was pretty pleased when he won another of those ghosts and a plushie. The ghosts were really cute, and this one looked so derpy. "Hey, what's that?" he pointed to something fluttering near Gryffyn's head.
Gryffyn turned when their dad said something and smiled to see a flitterat floating there. Even if it was carrying a pack of raisins, it was still super adorable. "You're coming home with me," they giggled.

As far as the little imp was concerned, this was the coolest thing ever in the history of ever. She'd joined a small group that was trick or treating the village. At the first house, she dutifully stood near the door and held out her bucket when it opened, remembering to chirrup 'Trick or Treat!' A rather glum looking older baphomet opened the door and dropped stuff into each pail. When Frit stepped back and looked, she saw a pretty rock. But when she reached in to pick it up to study it, a feeling of sadness washed over her. Dropping the rock back into the bucket, she decided that she'd wait to examine it. As the troop marched on to the next house, she fell behind when her attention was caught by a small plush bat stuck in some bushes. Grabbing it quickly, she dropped it into her pail. It was hers now.
Muridae: 7 Trick!
Muridae had been holed up in her small apartment. She heard kids yelling, adults laughing loudly, and all sorts of other noises that made her peek her head out the 4th story window. It took a lot to get Muridae to leave her humble abode, and curiosity was a major factor in that. The girl's tail flicked back and forth, watching from afar. Apparently people were going up to other's doors, and receiving candy. The Idea seemed both delightful and a little too abrasive for the girl's tastes, but as she saw another nightmare walk away with the most beautiful lollipop, she braced herself and went up to the door. Before the girl could get there a group of wild kids ran past, making the rather clumsy nightmare trip and fall into the grass. As Muridae lay there, mortified at what had happened, she saw a small creature squeak in fright as the kids came its way. Muridae felt the rush of needing to save small cute things, and ran up to the critter, carrying it and a locket around its neck away into her safe apartment.
Stachys: 1 Trick!
Stachys was with a group of other freshlings, all of the children chatting amongst eatch other. There was talk of candy, costumes, and surprising tricks! The dryad joined in on the conversation, stating that he wanted to be a palm tree for the candy collecting event. The other kids giggled at Stachy's decision, but the boy was not detoured. After class he cut out some big palm leaves from construction paper, obtained a nice set of brown pants and shirt, and put his costume together. The boy looked in the mirror, proud of what he had accomplished. With that the boy went out to collect the candy he was working so hard for.
Eudica: 8 Treat!
Eudica had been sitting through class, her face devoid of any emotion, as was the norm. The elf was trying to get through the last half hour of math class, but her mind was wondering. Suddenly another student nudged her and passed her a piece of paper. The elf, seeing no name on it, and being curious herself, opened the paper. In bad handwriting there was a question, "Trick or Treat? After class, outside under the big tree." Eudica raised an eyebrow. Yes, she supposed she could go along with whatever this thing was, but she would not break her cool demeniour. While the girl left to go to the restroom, another tactic for helping to kill the last half hour of class that felt like days as the boring teacher droned on, she found something stuffed into her bag once she got back to desk. Eudica discreetly peered into the bag and made a face. Who gave her this weird doll?
Abrus: 4 Treat!
Trotting happily through rows of booths and clusters of trick or treaters, Abrus found himself inhaling the chill, spice scented air. Really, this was absolutely one of his favorite times of the year. The costumes, the games, the treats... It was all so wonderful. And to think, he mused silently as he took a turn at the pitching game, there are races around that had never experienced this before. Really, it boggled the mind a little bit! he came back to the present as the imp in charge of the game smiled and handed him a little ghostie treat. Smiling back, he turned to find another game to play when he tripped slightly over a seemingly discarded plushie.

Aellys smiled softly as he held Bryony's hand. "How do you like it so far, kid?" he asked. He was really glad they had come to the Haunted Hallows festival and was sure they would do this again next year. Their next trick or treat stop earned Aellys a rock. Not even a pet rock. Just a rock.
Bryony leaned into his dad a little as they walked around. He was getting tired, but he would never tell his dad that. "It's really fun! I wanna stay all night!" they giggled tiredly. "And the plushies are awesome." Just then, one landed on his head. "Especially when they come flying out of nowhere."

Altair wandered in to the festivities on his own time. He was never one to follow the pack, let alone his own family. It was true that his parents were going to be here regardless, considering both his parents were teachers (great ... ), but that never stopped the boy from carving his own path.
Today, Altair had made the point of wandering off on his own. He knew his other siblings would catch up to him eventually, maybe both of his parents at some point as well, but for now the boy was enjoying his alone time. Well, as much as Altair could. His constant ball and chain, Alshain, was never far behind, and if the hybrid dared to cast a glance over his shoulder he was certain the timid creature would be mere steps behind him.
Not bothering to dare such a look, Altair kept his focus fixed onward, examining the stalls, goods, and games taking place. Maybe he could score something half way decent for himself.
Unfortunately, the boy wasn't much good at his first game. Well, it wasn't so much that Altair was impaired when it came to the game. Merely he wasn't awarded the gift he wanted. He'd pawn the doll off on Alshain and pretend he meant to give the creepy thing to his twin all along, and keep the other plushie he found discarded on the floor for himself.
Though her girls didn't appreciate them, Tamandani was perfectly fine with a box of raisins as a trick. They were pretty tasty to her. "How are you girls holding up? Getting tired?" she asked with a smile. She was fairly sure Crux wouldn't be tired for a while, and that meant Maylis would stay awake to stay with her.
Crux clapped happily as she won a plushie AND some cotton candy! She was so excited and couldn't wait to see what else was there. "No way! I wanna see EVERYTHING!" she said and giggled, stuffing fluffy candy in her mouth. "How about you, MayMay?"
Maylis hid a yawn behind the sleeves of her sweater and squinted a little at what looked like two rocks from her try at the trick or treat booth. "I got rocks...no wait...does this one have eyes?" She yelped and nearly dropped it. It was creepy...but also kind of cute? Maybe....

Ember had really been hoping to win something for Taman, but was having no luck. So far, the best she could do was find a rock ... while pretty, it was rather depressing to hold on to. Was it cursed?
(( Forgot to select a type of dye on my last roll! ))
Vaeryn was hoping, maybe, if he braved the outside world he would be able to send his friend something nice, if they ever surrendered their address. The two of them were both rather agoraphobic, and it made Vaeryn feel a little less different.
He thought, maybe, a nice trinket would do the trick ... after all, the two had became rather steadfast friends, and Vaeryn wished to show his friend just how much he cared.
Gosh, Vaeryn really hoped they liked the candy and plushie he got them ... worst case scenario, maybe they'd agree to let them drop them off or send them to a public address?
"Then what is it you like to do, Salem?" She asked curiously, starting looking at the drinks offered, before selecting one for Salem and handing it to him. This was her treat for her... uh... 'new' friend? She pondered what he meant by emotional crisis, and then thought back to when they met the kumiho. Hadn't Samhain sounded different at one point? Had they switched then? It was rather a stressful situation. But she instead asked "Bullied? So you force your way out, perhaps like tonight?" Not that she minded. she was already entertained. As she spoke with Sam, she didn't notice that another trinket was slipped into her bucket. When she would go through her items later, she would find a strange locket among her collected trinkets.
Kingston:
Kingston pretended to pout. "I wanted to make you one too. Oh well. I'll just have to make little outfits for each of your plushies." He threatened. "Costumes, if you will. To make-" He glanced at Mai when she suggested movie scenes. "-all the little scenes more believable." He nodded. When there was a shriek near Vanna, Kingston jumped and stared as a pumpka began to follow Vanna. "Sure are a lot of familiars out tonight."
"So Mai, are you suggesting that the scene on Vanna's desk would be like a password? If they can't guess the movie we're recreating, they can't come in? That's a rather marvelous idea!" He reached out and pat her on the shoulder. "I should make sure to give you my number before the night is over, so that we can talk about what scene to put on his desk every week." He nodded sagely.
"You too, Ren. I should give you my number as well so we can arrange play dates for out fennekits. We could even grab lunch or... well, I don't drink coffee, but you know. meet for the proverbial coffee." The fennekit on his shoulder started mewling in his ear just as Kingston stepped on... what looked to be a rather creepy doll... that just stared at him... stared into his soul. Ooooooooooooooooookay into the bucket it went, face down, buried under everything else.
Vega:
Vega was on a little bit of a sugar buzz. He was starting to feel jittery, and began running around and giggling because what does any kid do when you load them up with sugar? But as he ran, he did trip over a rock. He didn't hurt himself, landing in the soft grass, and suddenly came nose to nose with a flitterat, what seemed to want to make sure he was ok. "You're awfully cute." Vaga smiled as the rat bumped noses with him. "Want to come home with me?" Vega was meeting all sorts of new familiar friends. And he kept the rock he tripped on as a memento of meeting them! Or at least of meeting the flitterat.
Meadow:
Meadow still sort of had his arms crossed and was pouting a little when Aurelia suddenly seemed to get hit with something. "Aurelia?" He looked worried at her. Someone threw a rock? NOT COOL AT ALL! "Are you ok?" She started shaking and dropped something into her bucket. Buuuuuuuuuut then she suddenly found yet another plushie. Meadow made a face. Of course she was ok. Ok and finding tons of cute plush things. More then he had. Yup. Halloween was totally fair. "Want to go play some games? I think I see some over there." He gestured out to his left, when someone dropped a bag of caramel eyes into his hand. "Bwuh? Oh... Sweet!"
Charon:
Charon was actually minding his own business, for now. He wasn't talking to anyone or bothering anyone, so why did someone throw something at him? He flinched and smacked his head against the tree he was standing beside, then looked down.BY THE NINE! Did he just lose a tooth? No... no that wasn't his. Ok good. Wait. Eew. He had a tooth in his bucket.
Keahi:
Keahi must have looked tired, sitting on the bench. As they rested with their plushie, someone came by and handed them another one. they snuggled with the bat, smiling a little, before realizing that the plushie was holding a box of raisins. What was this? A ploy to get kids to eat healthy things? Ick!
Azriel was having a good time. with his friends at his side and a pail half full of candy azriel traveled own the road happily to the nearest house"trick or treat" he called out as a nightmare opened the door and handed him some spun sugar on a cone "thank you very much" azriel called out grateful his treat and was grateful it was not trick. he made his way back to the group as he showed kyra what he had
Loki approached the door next calling out with hope of a sugary treat"trick or treat" she said as she held up her pail the nightmare drooped in a pale purple lolipop, this brought delight to the trouble making child as she grinned and made her way back to join the others all while taking a lick of her lolipop gazing in to Azriels pail, trying to snatch some candy she was quickly caught but innocently smiled.
after loki had returned she made her way up next "trick or treat" she said delightfully as some candy and a cute plushie was drooped in her pail. she had reserved a red and black lolipop and an super adorable sitting red and black bat plushie. this made her exstreamly happy as she loved the color red.

Aurelia sighed a bit as she still felt the sting from the rock hitting her, rubbing that spot again as she looked over at Meadow. "Yeah...I'm ok. That hurt, though." She noticed Meadow was making a face when he saw she had found another plushie, frowning a bit as she looked down at her bucket. She did have quite a few...and perhaps he didn't have as much. She suddenly felt bad and not just because of the rock or the scare. "Huh? Oh yeah, sure. That'd be pretty fun." She responded to him asking if she wanted to play a game. She blinked when the bag of candy was dropped in his hand and smiled, giggling when she saw how it seemed to cheer her friend up. "Looks yummy." She commented simply, looking up to see someone dressed in a similar costume as her selling some kind of candy. Curious, she walked over and practically squealed when she saw the sugar skulls, immediately buying one and running back to Meadow. "Look at this! This is so cool!" She showed him the wrapped treat and giggled as she looked at it. "It's so pretty....I kinda don't wanna eat it because it's so pretty."
Lural
Iolanthe actually had fun with that fishing game and thought about trying for it again till she saw one that was about scooping rubber duckies out of a little whirling pool. The duckies were all spooky themed and really cute. She was given the little net and watched for a while till she spied a jack-o-lantern one and scooped it up. The vendor took it and looked at it to see the number on it and smiled. "Oooh, lucky you." They said as they grabbed a little bracelet with jack-o-lanterns on it and handed it to her, Io smiling and giggling as she saw it. It was adorable and she immediately put it on before heading off to the next thing to catch her attention.
Kohaku stopped for a bit to check on Seeker and Raisin, making sure that the fennekit was unscathed and hopefully not frightened. Thankfully, she seemed to be much happier than when they first found her. The baphomet smiled and stood up confidently before making their way to another house. There weren't any decorations or fancy lights but there was a bucket with a sign scrawled on cardboard that read "Take ONE and scram." Curious the baphomet reached in and pulled out a rather.....disturbing looking turnip. Normally one would have been horrified by it but Kohaku was fascinated. How in the world did they get it to look like that?
Hikari's shoulders slumped as she lost yet another game, and added yet another rock to her collection of things. Turning away from her shame, Hikari slowly made her way to a bench under some trees. Just as she sat down, a small flitterat bounced up onto her lap, curling up contentedly. The Kumiho smiled and gently stroked the little creature, suddenly feeling much better about losing that silly game.
Winning yet another lollipop, Elspeth decided that perhaps this outing wasn't such a bad idea after all, even going so far as to contemplate the idea of going to more of these sorts of events.
After unsuccessfully attempting the strength testing game, Saitama pouted at having to receive yet another rock. The vendor, seemingly feeling sorry for the boy, handed him a plushie with a wink and nudged him away. Saitama ran off, feeling a little better about his failure.
Yui's face contorted in confusion and mild anger, another rock? She wondered if the games were rigged against her, or if there was some sort of conspiracy going on. While Yui grumpily walked, she did not notice something in front of her, which, due to her lack of attention resulted in the Elfling to be face down on the ground. Holding back tears, the girl sat up, looking for the source of her continued misery. A bright orange and adorable plushie sat in front of her, with no owner in sight. Mumbling to herself, Yui decided to take the plush with her, as reimbursement for her troubles.
Azura collected yet another rock, evidently her luck had turned sour. As if sensing her sadness, a pink flitterat popped up in front of the elf, batting it's adorable eyes at her. Azura, squealed in delight and gently cupped her hands around it, now entirely forgetting about her misfortune.
In the back of her mind, Corrin felt like she should be comforting Azura. Shaking off the feeling, Corrin tried to reassure herself that Azura was fine and that being on her own was good for her, and would help her be more independent. Despite these efforts, Corrin couldn't quite regain her focus enough to win the festival game she was playing. The vendor dropped yet another rock into the elf's bucket and waved her off. Rolling her eyes, Corrin slumped off, feeling rather sorry for herself. Suddenly, the girl felt a weight on top of her head. Her hands flew to the top of her head and picked the flitterat that had made it's self at home, up. Squealing in delight at the adorable creature, Corrin hugged it close, and decided she should probably look for Azura, finally.
