"Okay," Caper agreed quietly, beaming as Kiessi got a plush of their own. Playing together sounded awesome, and Evan only nodded a little above them. He was taking classes at the Academy, and he spent a lot of his time hanging around with the other students. They would have plenty of time to play if he could find them again! Outfits? "I don't know what I like," the Giest murmured, seeming stumped. He pattered after his new friend as they continued trick or treating.
Glitch scarcely left their room for things outside of classes, not because they themselves were anti social, but because their dorm was their imagination station. Few other freshlings as young as they may be took their imagination out for a spin quite like Glitch did themselves. When other freshlings called for time out, or when teachers said playtime is over Glitch couldn't detach themselves from the game. Perhaps this is why Glitch is going out tonight with their dorm-mates and supervision rather than with friends of whom they have none to speak of. While their imagination is a wonderful thing, when someone can't break away from it for just a second others can reasonably be put off by it. But today was a different story, even though they were going out with their dorm-mates who were surely used to their wild imagination everyone was in the Haunted Hallow spirit of things and would surely play along.
Excited and rearing to go Glitch's dorm caretaker was only able to gather their attention in light of what they had to offer.
Caretaker: "Glitch look over here for a second, is there a pumpkin basket you want to take with you along your adventure?"
Ears perking up at the word of adventure gleefully they scurry over to the collection of Jack-o-lantern candy containers.
Glitch: "That one!"
Excitedly they grab the brightest orangest one there was. Pulling the bucket close to their face Glitch turns away from the caretaker and whispers to the bucket.
Glitch: "Well rookie, it seems they let you outta the office for this one. I don't want to alarm you, but we're out to catch us- you've named it, the dastardly Confectionery Corraler. Bit of a tongue twister that one. Now the plan is dress up, keep your head low and your eyes on the lookout. This guy targets freshlings with the most candy and snatches up their bags and runs off. We can play this into our benefit, we just gotta be the kid with the most candy on the block. There is no way they wont show up then and that's when we make our move to arrest them."
Nodding the bucket up and down as if to mimic the rookie detective agreeing with the plan Glitch gleams a bright smile and begins running ahead of the group eager to collect more candy than all the freshlings on the street.

Lady Argentum Draconis
The young Demon grinned back at the Imp, his tail twitching excitedly. His mama was right! He found someone that might be his friend. He turned back at his hybrid caretaker and waved excitedly to her. When his mama waved back, Dante turned his attention back to the Imp.
"My name's Dante! What's yours?"

Ivy watched the demon's expression and then blinked when they asked her name. She was suddenly faced that that conundrum that happened every day. To talk or not. The great debate. Granted she'd been talking to the caretakers and seniors running the games but...
She held out her sleeve and indicated the ivy embroidery that was there and then pointed to herself. She repeated the gesture and then smiled at him. Was she being mean not talking? Oh well.
==========
An adult passed buy and dropped another bracelet into her bucket, Ivy blinked and them and then offered as sweet smile. She picked it out once they were gone and looked over before offering it to her new friend. He didn't look like he had done well at any of the games and Momma was always telling her that sharing was caring.
The next house on his route seemed more promising than the last at the very least. There seemed to be a bunch of freshlings coming from the house excited after all. What could this house be giving out? Perhaps it was a really good type of candy?
Lazarus
Good candy it was not, Lazarus receiving some gum that didn't look the greatest. However, the true secret of this place soon came to light. This house was giving out plushies! Well, at least this house had something good.
Next place looked promising to Yihad, hum walking up the pathway to the door silently. As long as it was better than gummy poo hu would be fine, right? Then again, there could be worse things to get besides the gummy poo.
Yihad
After being handed the popcorn glove and the thing plushie, Yihad was beginning to think hus luck for the night was beginning to run thin. Sure the plushie was nice, but after having some of the popcorn hu soon found it to be stale. Gross!
Next house looked like a really scary one, Phyre looking up the path way shivering ", You stay here. I'll be right back," However, she wanted to be a big girl for her mommy, and that meant going up to the house by herself.
"Alright, and if you need me just turn around and you can ask for me to come to you," Candy explained, seeing how Phyre was seeming a bit scared by this house.
Candy
Phyre
"Trick or treat?" Phyre asked nervously when the door finally did open, the person at the door giving her a glare before putting something in her bucket ", Thank you, " After the door closed she looked in her bucket to see the most terrifying turnip her beginning to scream, cry, and run down the pathway to Candy ", Mommy!!!!"
Another nightmare had given Candy something as they passed by, her receiving a screaming chocolate bar. Did it really cause one to scream? However, she didn't get a chance to try since her little one came running to her for protection ", Phyre, what is it?"
"Scary turnip,"a whimper came from her, showing Candy what was now in her bucket. Oh my! They would have to get rid of that if they could.
Dante gave her a look of confusion and tilted his head. She was gesturing to her sleeve and the symbol on it. That was a plant, right? What kinda was it... Oh! An Ivy! He remembered seeing it in one of his mama's books. "Is it Ivy? You're name's Ivy??"
He cut himself off from saying anything else when she reached out and handed him something. It was a bracelet. "Oh... Thank you!"
After a few more rounds of nightmares coming through and getting startled out of their wits, a replacement came to give Ares a break. With a grateful grin, the imp made his way out of the haunted house and back into the cool night air. After staying in there it got to be a bit stifled and claustrophobic. Stretching with a grin, the senior was startled when a ball of fur hit the back of his head, yowling at the top of its' lungs and clinging as if there was a horde of hounds after it.
"Acdjkvngrg!!" the startled male yelped, flailing to try and get rid of whatever it was. A band of juniors ran up, obviously looking for whatever it was that had attacked his head. Ares told them off for chasing the poor critter around and got a gummy thrown at him for his trouble. He easily caught the thing and managed to get the band of 'em to scatter before dropping it in his bucket. Ugh, another of those stupid poo gummies. If nightmares were throwing them around they had to be gross.
At this point, the familiar that had attached itself to his head had managed to calm down enough that he could detach it. "Oh, why aren't you a pretty vespercat," he murmured once he got a good look at it. It was dirty, and thin, but it's coat was a lovely cream color. Scratching the poor thing under its' chin, he soothed it and soon it was purring in his arms. "Guess I'll have to make a stop in town tomorrow to pick up some things to take care of you. . .and you better not get up to mischief with Chaucer."

Layren was still lost, and still getting distracted by the cute things. No one would stop either when he tried to ask them for directions. Sometimes he hated being dark colored. Why hadn’t he kept a tighter hold on Nasai’s hand? She was going to be angry and worried and he was being such a bad son. With a low growl he ran his claws through his hair and messed it up to the point that a few strands where probably sticking out. He looked at the paper doll he had been given on one of his escapades to ask for directions.
“You wouldn’t happen to know how to get to the fountain? With my luck you probably do and since you can’t talk….” Layren sighed.
Vanna wasn’t sure why he was out here. Oh he liked Haunted Hallows just as much as the next person but it tended to get over crowded and he wasn’t a big fan of chocolate. However he had been dragged out by his roommate, who had ditched him. Great roommate weren’t they. As he sat on the bench looking rather like a suspicious individual instead of an academy student. Ah well they probably weren’t all off the mark. With a bemused expression he looked over to see a left behind bag of candy corn and a vespercat kitty. Considering how long he had been sitting here it was a good bet they were officially abandoned. Ah well he always had a soft spot for animals, even if they were the plushie kind.
Another popcorn hand for my collection, Coralie thought with some amusement. If nothing else, the cute rat that had attached itself to Ashlynn might enjoy it.
Grinning with pleasure, Adelinde accepted a tasty looking white chocolate bat and a green cat plush from a smiling baphomet. She hadn't expected to do so well at the Balloon Pop game, but she had won. Maybe not the tip top gran prize, but she'd still won. And she was going to enjoy nibbling away at the chocolate bat later.
Accepting a decorated bag of chocolate skulls, Ashlynn thought that she was going to end up just saving half of her candy because it looked so pretty! Tapping her new rat friend on the nose gently, she warned the little thing to not even think about nibbling on this bag.
The gift of a small handful of gross, old candy was rapidly forgotten as Zahneel stared wide-eyed at the spectrafox that she'd spied sneaking after her. Granted, she'd seen foxes before, but not ones that looked like a nighttime sky. Or ones that acted so reserved and well... majestic. After a moment's thought, Zahneel kept walking and the fox kept following. Since it showed no signs of going away, she concluded that she'd just found a new pet and went with it.
With the second sugar skull placed ever so carefully beside the first, Binhdi was now convinced that she would have to find a way to seal and preserve the pretty things. How rockin' would that one shelf in her room look if it was bookended by these skulls? Seriously rockin'.
Gilby had transferred the pumpkaa from their arms to their head in order to be able to continue trick or treating. It seemed to be working so far. At the next booth, Gilby guessed the number correctly and was given a milk chocolate bat. They wondered if chocolate was safe to feed to a pumpkaa. They'd have to remember to ask Momma.
Still clutching the cat plush, Hamish found that he didn't mind being given what looked like old, old candy. Maybe the wrappers were decieving. He'd have to remember to ask Prague what she thought once they were back home.

Piper continued to go from door to door with her mother in tow. He was totally enjoying this Holiday for the first time ever! Sure, she went trick or treating with the other orphanage kids the previous years. But it was way more fun to do it as a family! They hadn't been together for long, but Piper already loved Rosali. She was such a sweet lady! And she had a really fluffy tail. A Tail was was wrapped around her as they walked, protecting her form the cold outside. Mmm, but warm Imp tail.
She only broke out of the embrace of the fluffy tail to run up to the doors and yell, "Trick of treat!" Once a new treat was placed into her bucket she'd run back to her mother for more snuggles on the way to the next home.
Conan wasn't really paying attention to make sure he was sticking with his sisters. They were such a hassle and if they couldn't keep up with him, then they should eat some candy to get some pep! He kept his eyes open for any more interest games, or easy ones even. He eventually came across a game of chance, he pulled a floating rubber duck from the pool and after revealing a colored dot on the bottom he was handed a plushie. Cute and all, but where was Nott when he needed to ditch some pulshies on someone? Or Cherubi. He'd hold onto it for now at least, the booth owner also stuck something else in his bucket, but he didn't look to see what it was. Something he'd probably regret later...
Jezebeth continued to lead Enoukn around the events, under the ever watchful eye of a caretaker. She was so excited for this day, and it was showing in the fact that she was skipping and fluttering around instead of just walking. It served two purposes really; to work of the extra energy she had from eating candy and to keep up with Enoukn's long stride.
"Oh! That one looks fun!" She smiled as she walked up to the booth. She had to let go of Eno's hand and set down her pumpkin bucket so that she could swing a hammer. Unfortunately it didn't go very far, not far at all in fact, but she was given a box of raisins.
Raisins were good and all, but not exactly what someone wanted for Haunted Hallows..."You go next Eno!" She smiled and stepped back to make room for him. She went to put the raisins into her bucket and was a bit startled when a little flitterrat poked it's nose out to sniff at her. Oh my it was so cute! It let her reach down and pick him up with ease. Would he get along with her skyfish? She really hoped so!
Enoukn did not mind Jezebeth's skipping gait. If anything, it allowed him to walk the speed that his body was built for. Granted, he was starting to get used to a slower pace - but he guessed that Jezebeth was in a hurry to see as much of the event as she could. Again, something which he was not opposed. As they reached the next booth he smiled and watched her play.
Raisins probably weren't the best prize he'd agree - but they weren't the worst thing ever! Plus she ended up luring a flitterrat! When she told him to go next though, he picked up the hammer with a nod.
"Okay!" He said as he turned to lift the hammer high and bring it down on the target. He jumped a bit in surprise when he actually managed to ding the bell at the top. He didn't think he'd hit it that hard! Blinking, he took his treat, a bag of candy skulls, and smiled at Jezebeth.
"We can share when we get back to your room!" He said with a nod. He didn't think he could eat all the candy himself - really.
