I just have a huge problem with always putting others first. Which, I guess, isn't a massive problem, except that I do it to the point of sacrificing things and agreeing to stuff that I really have no reason to other than self-guilt or people-pleasing. xP
So I want to build enough confidence to be able to tell people no when I need to and believe that it's okay to be a little selfish sometimes.
It finally set in with me a few days ago, how bad I am about it, when I was crying on my birthday due to various concessions I made that resulted in zero celebrations happening. > > /tmi

Free up some time and if there's isn't an emergency like someone's death, keep that time clear. I've got a very similar problem. I'm working on the part where I re-schedule myself and learn how to play. 'Vacation' has been nixed out of my personal dictionary for some time.

Mine's not necessarily work related or anything. I take days off when needed, since this new job is super lax. It's just life in general. I cater to my husband or family requests to a stupid degree that I need to stop. xP

I miss tektek. So bad. *sighs* I keep hoping that they will change the avatar builder into a more user friendly format. Right now its just frustrating.
