Wait! Kakarot's what?! Chaya aksed, now shocked and confused. That made two saiyans that had escapped her radar in her search. How had she gotten so slipshod in her hunt? And how had Kakarot's father survived all these years? He should have been dead!

Bardock was right... blasting something would probably make for a quick roast... though Chi-Chi would be pretty pissed if Gohan were to ruin her dishes using his ki to try to warm up the food. By the time it took for Bardock to hunt, dip, and flirt Gohan had finnished with the microwave... There was a nice spread of food and no one around to enjoy it... plenty of barbequed kebabs, teriyaki soba, and then the fish… those large fish that swim around the area are quite good grilled or used in sushi. There was an abundance of onigiri, and roasted dinousaur tail.
Goten had snuckout yet again to track down the his lost puppy I mean grandfather.
Gohan shook his head... might as well go get them or something... besides, there was too many trays for him to bring the food to them... at least without spilling it everywhere. He took off out the door, made a sudden halt and backed up to grab a few kebabs and a riceball... might as well award himself with some food along the way.
He flew picked up on Bardock and Goten's ki... Trunks and Bulma was here too??? Well that wasn't as big of a surprise as Vegeta being in the area, Vegeta never had reason to come by unless it was to settle the score with his father... or unless bulma forced him to come out for a cook out, a gathering of friends... but that normally happens at Bulma or Roshi's place, not too often up here.
Gohan arrived in enough time to see Bardock and Vegeta moments away from being at eachother's throats.
||This... doesn't look good in the least bit|| Gohan thought. Vegeta was having one of his typical moments and really the only way to defuse a situation like that was to stand down and let him stroke his ego, fight him, or with any luck Bulma will 'tame' him... to some degree. Taking note to Bulma's expression she hardly looked in the mood to put up with nonsense from Bardock or Vegeta, and judging by what he's seen from Bardock, thopugh letting Vegeta's head swell while he lets his ego expand would be the easy way to calm things down... this Bardock person didn't seem to be the type to let him do that.

He got the mental image of Vegeta being a tempermental little kid trying to blow up a balloon with the word 'EGO' written on it, and Bardock being the one standing over him with a pin waiting to pop it.

||Fitting...|| Gohan thought to himself. ||This isn't my problem... I could escort Goten, Bulma, and Trunks to the house and let those to work out their own issues... Besides I have homework to do, babysitting grown men wasn't in my adgenda for the day! ... But then what will mom think when she gets back and finds the mountain in total chaos and a dead saiyan on the porch... that's not cool|| He thought sighing only option was to try to find a way to get these two warriors to let up some... Something needed to be figured out before they decide to duke it out.

It was a long drive to market to sell the Son family Produce and a long drive back up to Mt. Paozu. Chi-Chi was looking forward to getting home to her boys, who were no doubt famished in her absence, especially little Goten who had an appetite that surpassed even his brother's.
"*sigh*...He's just like his father." Chi-Chi muttered wistfully.

Since Chi-Chi basically ran the household, Goku's absence didn't put much of a dent on the productivity of their farm, and with two boys helping things got a bit better. But even all these years later, she couldn't get used to not waking up and seeing her beloved husband, not seeing his smiling face, hearing his cheerful voice, or spying that signature hair of his as she came up the last hill to the house...hair like that tanned fellow with the scar who was staring down Vege- WAIT WHAT?!

Chi Chi slammed on the brakes of her car and snatched the Power Pole from the passenger's side seat next to her, her husband's only weapon, and quickly flipped from the car onto her feet, glaring at the two men who looked ready to throw down in her yard, which was NOT going to happen.

"Power Pole: Extend!" She commanded as she swung the weapon, the stave first striking Bardock in the back of the head and then Vegeta in the face, knocking both men to the ground with a single sweep of the Power Pole.

Standing over the two, glaring at them like insolent children Chi-Chi retracted the pole and placed her hands on her hips.
"ALRIGHT! I want answers and I want them now! Neither of you two get up until I get them!" She demanded.
"You!" She said, jabbing a finger at Bardock, "Why do you look like my Goku? Why is there a dead animal in my yard? And You!" She said, now pointing at Vegeta "You should know better than to fight in MY Yard! You're supposed to be a Prince, not a school yard ruffian! Act like it!"
Her angry gaze settled on the others, laying down the law. "Gohan! Put out that fire! Goten, Trunks, get away from that dead animal! You don't know where its been! And Bulma!"

She then smiled very civily and nodded to her.
"A pleasure you came by." she said in a very friendly manner, quiet opposed to the harsh, commanding tone she had before. "You really should have called! The house is in a frightful shape!"

Another car pulled up on the place and a woman jumped out with a staff. Before Bardock could properly react to this, he got smashed upside the head by the Power Pole.
Bardock had a hard head, a trait he passed on to his descendants. But getting beaned in the skull with the Power Pole was still painful as hell. Brought to his knees, cursing and rubbing the back of his skull, he shot a disbelieving look at Chi Chi.
"Goku's my SON!" He snapped irritably. "And I'm here visiting! Now calm the hell down!"

Indent His black hair blew in the wind of the nice day. His black eyes lay on Vegeta & Bardock. He'd been in the middle of a situation between Bardock, & Vegeta when his mother from out of the blue sky came with her power pole, now he was embarrassed. His mother had snapped at everyone, except Bulma. It was kinda scary, he quickly did as she said, & stomping out the fire. He then spoke,"Mom, calm down. Please, we have company remember."He said looking at his mother with calm eyes. He cut his eyes back at Bardock who had just yelled back at her,"Wait don't!"But he was too late, not long til his mother retaliated back to his remark. She wouldn't have cared who he was, no one yelled back at her. No one. One could only wait until the stove top on her blew off with steem now.

He looked at Vegeta who wasn't speaking now, which was odd. Did his mother shut the 'Prince of all Saiyans' up? Questioned Gohan in his mind. He could only wait with everyone's responses how to deal with it.

"Don't you raise your voice to ME You Karate Bum!" Chi Chi Snapped back as she thwacked Badock in the chest with the Power Pole. "This is MY house and I will not tolerate such disrepectful- FATHER???!"
Chi-Chi had just bashed, twice now, her father in law, and the man certainly looked the part: a tough looking Saiyan with Goku's face and hair, roughly his height.
"I...you...Goku...father..." She mumled confusedly, looking from Goten to Gohan to Bardock and spying the relation in their faces. This mean she had not only beaten up her Father in law, she had also called him a Karate Bum, which he probably was if he was anything like his son. But such behaivor was completely unbefitting of the wife of his son. Goku had shown nothing but respct to the Ox King, and she had returned it by pummeling Bardock into the ground. The embaressment of disrespecting her husband's family was too much for Chi Chi, who promptly gripped her chest and fainted dead away.

Indent"Mother?!"Gohan shrieked as he stood & watched as his mom, started fainting for the ground, he quickly caught her fanning her with his hand."Mom, hello?"Everything was going sooo wacked out. He'd thought if they would ever meet their Grandpa, things wouldn't turn out like this. He thought it would be more warm & loving. Instead, it's "this." Gohan held his mother in his arms. Well atleast she didn't hit the ground where the animal Trunks was messing with lay. Whew, he thought. Wiping his forehead with one of his hands, he stared at Bardock awaiting him or Vegeta to reply, & while everything was going so suprise, surprise, he knew hell didn't freeeze over so he didn't expect a reply from Vegeta. But he didn't know Bardock, well. So he kept his hopes that he cared about people & wasn't cold like Vegeta.

Hearing that he "had" an uncle didnt make him to happy. He looked to the ground and frowned hard at it. His daddy and his uncle? Goten looked back up at Bardock and sniffled. Not because he was sad for himself but sad for Bardock. He was a daddy and both his kids where dead! How awful! He knew the pain of not having a daddy but a daddy not having kids anymore was far worse! Just before the little boy could hug Bardock or anything his mother came rolling up. This cheered him up a bit from his solemn state but it really didnt last long. The next thing he knew his mother brought the pain down on both Vegeta and Gramps. Gasping as he looked over at his mother but stayed silent. He didnt want to make her angrier with anything he said. Gohan was better at this stuff anyway. In the time before his mother fainted Goten had grabbed onto Bardocks leg and hid from view. He hated when his mother yelled but then when she did faint he let go of Bardock's leg and ran over. "Mom! Gohan is she okay?!" he said with extra worry in his voice. Chichi was all he had besides Gohan and he loved her very much. Chichi had fainted before but it was always met with the same response from Goten. Worry.

Bardock staggered too his feet, wincing as he did so. This woman was a vicious and unpredictable one. No wonder Kakarot had mated with her. She was something.
And now she fainted.
Dusting himself off, Bardock tightened his bandana and looked curiously at the woman as her sons rushed to her side.
"Um, does she do that often?"

IndentIn the heat of the moment, Gohan glanced at his kid brother who he had made alittle worried with shrieks over their mother."Don't worry, Goten, she's fine.Just then while speaking with Goten assuring him their mother was fine, Bardock rushed over which was a good sign, to come help with aiding her. He asked a question people usually didn't ask. He asked did his mother do that alot, referring to her fainting. He smiled at him then started to talk."Yeah, when she gets nervous she does. And in this case, well I can't blame her either."Joked, Gohan. This type of situation was something to be calm about either. He wished his father were here soooo bad. He missed him terribly, last time he had seen him was about 7 or 8 years past. After the brutal Cell games which Gohan saved the world from the evil android who only cared about destroying and getting more power.

Gohan then started waving his hand over his mother's head with his forearm trying to re-awaken her."Come on, Mom. This is the longest she's been out. Hahaha, she'll come around.Gohan stated.

Chi-Chi slowly blinked awake and groaned, looking up at Gohan.
"G-G-Gohan?" She mumbled, feeling weak. "Please...tell me I did not just beat down your grandfather like he owed us money. And please tell me he's not dressed like some cutthroat hoodlum."
Chi-Chi knew about Grandpa Gohan, but this unsavory looking fellow who looked just like her husband reminded her of the very sort of thing she imagined those awful saiyans to be: Colorfully dressed brigands and pirates. To think she had inadvertenly married into a pirate gang...well her Goku wasn't like that. Goku was a sweet, caring...lazy...fight happy...karate bum...But he wasn't some space pirate!

I told you she would be fine."He then started letting his mother to the ground on her feet so she could stand, he did this carefully for he didn't want to drop his mother and cause her more trouble, that would be the last thing on his mind..

Glad to have had his mother up and moving again he grabbed her by the hand and jumped up and down. "Mama! Can he stay?! PLEASE! I think he's cool! He killed a dinosaur for food! It was yummy but not as good as your cooking, then he found a naked lady but i didnt like that, then Bulma came and he tried to eat her but he wasnt exactly eating her......" Stopping and realizing his errors he looked a bit shocked but then ran over to Bardock hugging onto his leg and making a sad face that no parent could ever resist. "Please dont make him go! I like Gramps a lot......"

He glanced over at Goten who spouted a whole stream of things that probably would not fly with Chi Chi and the man sweat dropped as he cast a wary glance at the woman in Gohan's arms. This probably wasn't going to end well.
"Hey. In my defense, that bloomers woman ran me over and throttled me." He stated.
