Location: Asper ~ Captains Quarters
Torn she had ended it for many reasons. Death...was only one path that could be walked and in theory that relationship ought to have been flawless but he wasn't the same man. Through all of his various changes he had lost pieces of himself. Not to mention that Onyx had jumped ahead far too soon. She had wanted to love again but...in the end her own hurts won. She didn't want it to be bitter. He had things, a crew that needed him. He needed to be able to go and do the things he needed to do in order to be successful for himself. At the same time Onyx would never be someone's woman in theory. You were all in or you were nothing. no half life, no half love. This needed to be done and friends they would always remain. She would always have a soft spot for the very gorgeous dark elf.
Onyx didn't know how long it would be, or if she would ever see him again. After everything, dragging him through some considerable hell, She wouldn't blame him. She hadn't told Heiden yet, she hoped he wouldn't be too disappointed in her.
Suddenly her thoughts turned to Raziel...she needed to speak with him...oh yeah...they had fought. Damn it. It was time to put out some fires and mend some bridges it seemed. The thought of Raziel made her think of Raza. She wondered...if he was...still alive. She still had no idea that he was in fact deceased. Linia ate him. He had been the only vampire she had ever attempted a relationship with. She of course had met him back when he was human and had...relations with him then. When he got turned she tired hard to see past it all but not even he could. It got to be too much and they had went their separate ways. No matter how brief...she had loved him. Now...her gears were really turning.
The thought about her love with Raza made her think about her encounter the other night with Metal. Her earth shattering epiphany that she wasn't afraid of the bite as much as she had been afraid of the man, the being behind the bite. Punch in the face number two. She froze. Raza, Shadow, James all have fangs. She had either loved them or had been their donner or both. It solidified the truth that she had come to know. Onyx didn't loath Metal because he was a vampire. She loathed him because...well...he was metal! Onyx recalled the way metal made her feel when he had grinned at her on the deck. Then...more sickeningly she remembered her thoughts and where they went after she had made contact with his lips. She had thought of Raza. She had remembered many various times...damn good times. Metal had stirred desire.
She stood up with a jerk, her chair toppling over. 'Oh no...no no no. Not happening right now. I need help this very instant!" she said out loud as she ran to her closet to dress herself. She whipped a brush through her hair and pinned it up and ran out of her room.
