Sandel clutched his bag with a firm grip as he picked up from the security checkpoint upon arriving back at the airport near Lockeport. He walked out of the airport with a broad grin on his face due to his most recent success. Treasure had been discovered, he had gotten a claim in it, and no one had to die in order for any of it to happen. The tan skinned male walked with the rest of the crowd that was coming into the country, many of them running towards loved ones, or seeing signs that held their names on it. For him, he had no sign and one of his loved ones was contained in a gray metallic canteen that was attached to his side. "Heh, I got all that I need, for right now at least." He looked down fondly at his canteen while he waited for a family in front of him to move so he could exit the airport.
He didn't have to wait all that long due to the fact that taxis were always waiting by the exit, knowing that there some people who didn't have a free ride. Yet, even as he waited he reached into his pocket to pull out a crumbled pack of cigarettes. His pipe had snapped when he was in Cambodia, the result of dropping it while drunk and watching an elephant step on it. A taxi pulled up as Sandel let out his first dose of second hand smoke that day to have an amused grin form over his lips. "Hey!! Get in, we need to talk." Yelled the driver from his drivers seat. The treasure hunter got in back of the cab, the same one that had driven here for his flight to Cambodia.
"So I know you lied about Cambodia being an Asian woman, you a**." The taxi driver in a matter of fact tone of voice. "I looked it up and realized it was a country." This caused a smile to appear on Sandel's lips as he tapped some ash off his cigarette out the window. "Heh, well I didn't want to make you feel dumb, ya'know?" he retorted to which the driver snapped back "I was the laughing stock of the company, told people about Cambodia.....the woman." Sandel chuckled softly at the taxi driver, but the rest of the trip to Lockeport was in silence as the driver brewed about his mistakes.
"Aye dude, you can stop right here." The treasure hunter announced, seeing that he was close to the Port of Lockeport. He pulled out a wadded amount of cash and tossed to the taxi driver who took the money in silence. Grabbing his bag and flicking his cigarette butt off into the distance, Sandel headed into the Port with only destination in mind. The Asper to show off his most recent treasure find and gloat how much money he had made.
